Guest Reviews
- Juanita (1/5): This drug infested Hotel should be shut down - Absolutely nothing when I got to the hotel. It was after 1:30 AM because my flight was delayed coming out of Dallas. I called the 800 number because the sign on the Wall said pick up the phone and dial zero for an operator unfortunately for me, the phone did not work. I didn’t like the fact that this hotel is in a drug infested area and the front desk clerk, even after being instructed Buy Customer Service to 800 number refused to let me in. I had to stand outside with the all the drug users and people begging for change until a Uber came to save me.
- Whitney (6/5): -
- Ledwin (8/5): - Ubicación
- Kristen (5/5): - it was comfortable that I still haven't received my $100.00 deposit
- Cathy (1/5): Do not stay here under any circumstance it’s filthy. My worse experience ever. We only stayed a couple of hours and chec - Nothing it was awful! Everything! The linens smelled like cigarette smoke, the appliances were rusty, broken window blinds. I wiped off the bedside table, it was black. Floors were dirty and sticky.
- Branden (1/5): - Nothing Cheap cheap cheap
- Bledsoe (10/5): - Staff friendly and helpful Nothing
- Lelia (9/5): -
- Paula (1/5): Crappy - There was no breakfast. People were hanging out in the front with their kids. As you walked by you had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke. As soon as you walked into your room, the smell hits you in the face. The fridge was dirty. The stove had rust. If I wouldn't have been exhausted, I would have left. Later as I'm leaving to go to Walmart, 4 cop cars pulled up. I Wonder if corporate knows what's going on there? It was like being in the hood. It is owned by Blackrock..so there's that
- Bobby (1/5): Pathetic, to say the least. - Nothing at all & especially the Staff; the Black female @ the Front Desk claiming to be the General Manager is 100% Racist. Everything from the very beginning @ check-in until I was evicted from the Hotel on my 2nd day. NOTE: I will be filing a Formal Complaint against this Hotel.
- Gloria (1/5): There was not a "stay" at allll!!! We simply can NOT stay in a place where there are cockroaches!!! - There wasn't anything I liked about this facility.
Here are some photos taken right after I checked into your hotel, proof of the roach infestation and what I found in Room 304 when I arrived. There is no way I will stay in a place that is infested with live cockroaches and filth. Here is a video of the bugs and dirt in the elevator on my way down to the office to leave. I used the phone in your lobby to share my disgust, and the gentleman from Booking.com told me I would need to show proof, so I went back to the room to take more pictures.
I am expecting a full refund, as I checked in on time and only spent 30 minutes in the hotel and left to go sit at Denny's until management arrives to share my discrepancies. I booked in good faith, and paid in advance for a week's stay, I have stayed at Extended Stay Hotels before with complete and total satisfaction. This is an extreme disappointment. The gal at the front desk didn't smile at first and seemed annoyed that we woke her up to check in. I emailed that we would be checking in late, I paid for the whole week in advance. There were cockroaches crawling everywhere, on the counter, on the floors, and up the walls. It was disgusting!! We set our bags down only to have to pick them up once we saw the roaches. The whole building smelled like the floors had mildewed. The place had squished cockroaches in the cabinets. The counter and the shower baseboards were filled with dirt. Roaches were crawling everywhere.
- Belinda (3/5): -
- Darlene (4/5): - Smelled musty Smelled musty
- Sandy (7/5): Cozy and chill - Very nice and friendly Housekeeping…. We thought we would get fresh towels every day or room cleaned.
Need coffee maker at rooms
- Thornton (10/5): I would book again here - The staff Nothing
- Paul (3/5): BARE minimum facility. Not recommended for children. - Location. Kitchenette has NO utensils, plates, pots, etc. They CHARGE you for those. No hairdryer, no shampoo/conditioner. This is an old building with a lot of permanent residents and not the best clientele
- Chesser (4/5): It’s the equivalent of a motel in my opinion. - The staff was friendly. The entire reason I went with this hotel is because of the price and it included a kitchenette, but there were absolutely no utensils or pots and pans to cook with. Not to mention when I got to the front desk, the lady had told me the first floor just caught on fire last week so that had me on edge being as we were staying on the second floor.
- olivia (10/5): - Clean room
- olivia (10/5): - Clean room, extremely helpful staff
- Wesley (2/5): - Where do I start. Room door was stuck, had to use my shoulder to pop it open. Enter the roo. And to the left was the rusty/mold ridden, fridge. Proceed own to the kitchen area ( hello the fifties want there kitchen back). Tv stand drawer face was broken off and laid on top of the stand. Blind covering the window could not be adjusted in any form or fashion, to include not be able to be closed. Dirty floors, bathroom flooring coming up from water damage. Would not recommend.
- Thornton (7/5): It’s okay not to bad my family is comfortable !! - The two lady’s in the front very nice and helpful in the morning I can’t remember their names but they are really nice
- Spatz (6/5): - Front desk people very helpful Bunch of hillbillys hanging out at entrance loud
- Worlds (1/5): - There were bugs in multiple rooms, the location
- Estefana (2/5): - Location Dirty towels in the bathroom
Dirty bedding pillow cases were dirty
- Keri (2/5): - The property did not have a room available when I went to check in after I already booked it. I would like a refund please.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Basic accommodations with kitchenette - Location is convenient to groceries, dining and businesses. Noise was not an issue since the hotel is set back from the street. Ample parking. Accomodations were pretty basic. The room had a kithenette with a refrigerator, microwave, sink and cook top. (Must provide own cutlery, dishes and cookware.) The 2 double beds were satisfactory, but not luxurious by any means.Price was reasonable for a 2 night stay.
- sankaranarayanan (10/5): - NA
- Michael (5/5): -
- Donnie (10/5): -
- Kayla (10/5): Feels like home - Recently I moved to FwB to move in with a guy I was dating but it didn't work out. Extended stay has made me feel comfortable and as at home as possible
- Dunmore (7/5): -
- melissa (4/5): - The first room we were given was dirty. Beds were not made food on the counter bathroom and toilet were dirty. Second room we were given water on the floor beds were not made and told that we could get a refund but it was 10 o’clock at night, so there was nowhere else to go. The staff person was apologetic and accommodating.
- Colls (7/5): Fue buena - Los que más me gustó es que tuviera cocina
- Eliza (2/5): - Hotel stinked so bad i don’t even want to remember the smell so I can’t describe
Room had no toilet paper
Refrigerator was rusty
Do no stay there
- Dunmore (7/5): -
- Kenneth (6/5): Felt like i was back in a college dorm. - The floor in the hotel was dirty and needed to be sept. The tub had long black hair in it and on the floor of the bathroom. The nieghbors had loud music playing. The hallway smelled like weed and the entry exterior of the was littered with cigarette butts.
- nadia (2/5): - The best thing on this property was the general manager and other staff
- Justin (2/5): - Bed bugs. FML.
- Alexander (2/5): - The property is over run with roaches. The interior of the rooms are old, and run-down. You can easily see this from the interior of the room where the dresser and counter tops have noticeable wear. Bathroom had no toilet paper, among other issues, it was significantly outdated.
- Melinda (2/5): - Had to clean the room when we got there , counter was dirty . Floor was dirty . Bathroom was dirty . Drug deals started happening out front well we saw on Wednesday and some other activities! We booked this due to last minute plans and honestly wish we never did and left early due to the things going on here . Would never recommend this place !
- Dunia (4/5): - Muy pero muy sucio
- Gary (2/5): A place to stay a night or two, but as a family and sense of home, not the right hotel. - Friendly staff, but unable to help when reached out to get issues resolved. Responsive staff, cleanliness of facility was terrible, room was dirty, lacked decor, running bath water facet unable to turn off, no remote for TV (and when I asked for one,, it still wasnt able to connect to TV),
- Michelle (5/5): Overpriced and dirty .. - India at the front desk was very nice and one of the ladies that worked and lived on the property was very nice , the others not so much . It was nice having a kitchenette but you have to buy cook ware and utensils. Really dirty on the outside , nothing was kept up , even where the doggie station was a big black trash bag was tied and hanging off the side inside of one in the can and the bags to pick up dog poop was never refilled . The room was so dirty I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it , the smell in the fridge smelled like something had died . i sprayed for bugs after seeing a few small roaches . The. hall ways were never cleaned and the stairwells smelled like cigarettes and weed .
- Jessica (2/5): - Hotel didn’t have any wifi, the people around the property all seemed to be on drugs, also no vending machine or anything. If you want a low budget hotel this is it. Also way to much money for what rooms
- Victoria (10/5): - The gal working at the check in was very nice and welcoming.
- Del (2/5): - Horrible. Dirty lobby, dirty elevator, dirty floors in entrance. Discusting. Only good thing was the lady that worked the lobby.
- Paul (2/5): - never going back there it nothing what it looks like at all n it’s in the hood
- Makala (8/5): Ideal - Very nice location . Comforting and quiet Nothing really everything was good
- Aleksandr (8/5): - It was a good place for our budget to stay overnight while traveling along the coast. The front desk lady was nice and she shared the information about the nearest beach that was just 5 minutes away and was not crowded. The room was okay, the bed was comfortable. It smelled a little in the room because of the humidity but other than that there were no major issues.
- Jose (2/5): - I was delayed on checking in and they did not allow me to check in citing it was too late and had to forfeit the stay. Go somewhere else
- DOUGLAS (6/5): ISSUES - Checking in was great because of the very nice black lady who checked me in….she was super friendly and I hate that I didn’t get her name
Some of the room was dirty, bathroom shower dripped on tub faucet making noises, stove hood light and fan didn’t work, and 2 of the lights in the ceiling didn’t work, and no bed side lamp in room
All of the above were mentioned to front desk, work order slip done, work was to happen the next day but nothing was looked at of fixed.
- Ali (5/5): Passable -
- amanda (2/5): - More like a halfway house
- Timothy (4/5): - Check in lady was nice.Bed was comfy... no curtain in room which I found to be weird.. room had a weird smell. The negative is that you are not told you can't check out till 11. When we asked morning person he was a little rude was told wed get deposit back by 1 its 330 now we will not stay here again another creepy thing wa the human trafficking awareness sign. Never seen that in a hotel
- Amanda (10/5): It was a great value. - Convenient location.
- Barbara (10/5): - Friendly staff, nice park and water view with picnic tables and playgrounds near
- Asia (1/5): Scamming hotel - Don’t book with a third party. If you need to make adjustments to your reservation, the hotel will direct you to the third party and once the third party reaches out to confirm the adjustments, the hotel won’t respond. Save yourself the headache. My husband booked for memorial weekend and due to an emergency had to check out early. The hotel never actually checked him out and directed him back to booking to cancel the remaining days. Once booking attempted to the hotel became non-responsive so now we are paying hundreds for a room that wasn’t used.
- Jasmine (1/5): Horrible Hotel - It was nothing to like except the fact it had a stove to cook, and also, the two black women who checked me in were very nice and helpful (I didn't catch their names). The other workers were horrible. Where do I start: the location is horrible, it smelled bad, the room wasn't fully cleaned (beer was left in the fridge, old soap left in the shower and the floors was dirty), the knob in the tub fell off while trying to turn on the shower, the cable wasn't working, the phones didn't work, the front desk workers looked like people they just pulled off the street. Long story short, if you can find a room somewhere else, avoid this hotel.
- Wilson (2/5): Very poor -
- Brian (6/5): - We visited the area but did not spend much time in the property. Only came back to the room to shower and sleep as there was nothing there to offer. The bed sheets and linens seemed clean but the LVP flooring was dirty. Wear shoes in the room, socks or feet will need to be washed otherwise.
- Chandler (6/5): not enough essentials - we missed having an extra blanket in the room. there being two of us, we were only given one wash cloth. only one bar of soap to wash with along with using at the sink. i also missed havi g a shower mat to step onto when getting out of the shower.
the front desk was closed when we got back to the hotel and in the morning making it not possible to ask for extra.
- Matthew (2/5): - Check in was fine, but we had a car sitting outside our window with its lights on shining in the window. The neighboring rooms both front and left we slamming doors most of the night and the room above was pacing for hours late into the night. Then we were woke up to someone pulling the fire alarm and the fire department rushing in with sirens. Won't recommend or stay here again.
- Vladimir (1/5): Bad - Nothing good. Lobby hours 9 am-10 pm. We had just 1 towel for 3 people. We tried to get more but lobby was closed and nobody didn’t answer to bell
- maria cielo (4/5): - Sucks. Smell terrible sink and shower are not working bed is not comfortable
- Grant (9/5): Superb -
- Pablo (2/5): - The hotel was locked when we got there and the phone number listed on the window did not answer
- Keiwanna (6/5): Pleasant -
- E (10/5): - N/a
- Tamala (2/5): - Trash pile outside my room. Kitchen area was nasty. Open used soap in shower. Never experienced this before.
- Lakandra (2/5): - So there is no staff readily available after 10pm so it took a total of 1 hour 20 mins to be checked into RESERVED room. Upon entering past office, there was strong smell of urine at elevator. Once we got into room and turned on lights there was small roaches crawling on bathroom wall. Office notified but said no refund could be issued. Guest above us had small child who ran across floor for hours while we tried to sleep! Office notified…it continued again. WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN!
- Keiwanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mario (6/5): Be ready. - Convenient location A lot of noises from other guests. Had people the room above mine always dragging stuff and furniture on the floor with no respect for others, even after formal complaints.
- Jerry (1/5): Waiting for my place to get fixed - The beds was not clean floor was like walking through dirt no hot water bugs in behind the bed and spider in bath room
- Jerry (10/5): Exceptional - It was quite and drug free
- Tracy (8/5): - I didn't walk around but they had carts for my baggage, no ice machine but i had a full size refrigerator with ice trays. Overall i was good.
- Black (6/5): Pleasant -
- Erik (6/5): Don’t stay at the Extended Stay in Fort Walton, FL - All amenities offered were not even close to what this hotel had to offer. There were no hair dryers, coffee makers, and no ice machines to fill up ice buckets. They had us fill up ice trays if we needed ice! Our shower leaked the whole time out of the spigot. There was no continental breakfast, and we had to ask for shampoo/soap as rooms had none. Was never told WiFi password, and the day worker wasn’t friendly at all! Two garbage bins in hallway smelled like pee and hallway by vending machine smelled like pee as well!
- Kamari (6/5): - Stayed in Room 325. Decided to take off the fitted sheet and put my own. I was stunned to see how disgusting the bed cover is. Absolutely filthy. I ended up getting a blow up bed. Check your sheets and the bed itself before resting your head. Also lighter, fishing line a knife and something else was left in a draw. Price was good as was staff. I guess I got what I paid for. Would recommend however check your room thoroughly
- Tiffany (2/5): - It’s was 20 degrees last night and the heater didn’t work and NIGHT STAFF WAS RUDE TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I REQUESTED A REFUND AND WOLL BE WAIG TO HEAR FROM CORPORATE
- Marshall (10/5): Exceptional - All of the staff was so pleasant and accommodating. Carlos was exceptional,
- Tait (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ash'a (2/5): truth, not to bad. - how well I know my financial rights, and my own privacy rights.
financial privacy and human privacy rights, is the goals. laundry room wasn't clean, washer's and dryer do have to be cleaned and maintenanced by a professional, got bed bug an what not from doing my laundry there.
they need to clean the refrigerator, sweep and mop the floors and check the filters in the ac and heating units and clean them .
other than that not much else was an issue.
needed a bottom floor to be honest, even with myself.(1)
- Tommie (6/5): - No hot water, cameras and people allowed to go into the room when I'm not there.
- Veron (4/5): The extended stay is a fraud. - It was quite. They calm that veron smoked in the room and he didn't. Also they took money off my friend card over 300 dollars and we didn't get our deposit back
- Becky (8/5): Good for price - Nice enough room and laundry facilities were good. Bed had uncomfortable mattress for us.
- Serena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Top Notch Hospitality - Just the friendliest staff working at this location. I'm floored by it honestly. I've stayed in luxury hotels before but never have seen the customer service that was shown in this hotel. The rooms are older and dated. The tub leaked, the lights flickered, the room smelled moldy and the stove kind of sucked, but I still give them 5 stars because of how they made me feel. I would definitely stay here again
- Kenneth (4/5): Since most of my time was away from the room and all I actually did was sleep and shower it was ok and might consider st - Good location for me at the time. Convenient to my event. When I pulled on to the property it looked like homeless men were hanging out by the building . There were several places from the front door to the door of my room that looked worn and in need of cleaning and upkeeping. In the room #228 , there were places on the wall and in the kitchen area that needed some cleaning ( stains, splash stains, signs of wear on the floor and door frames). Also , the water in the shower would not cut completely off and dripped all day and night. The bathroom sink plug had not been cleaned in quite a while so the sink drained slowly. As a whole, this place just shows signs of needing some deep cleaning and building maintenance.
- Hall (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): - You have to take life as it is I don't have a problem with this property
- Wesley (6/5): - the room was fine like the concept of the bed frame off the floor, preventing anything from being left behind. However the bathroom needs better towel and some better water pressure in the shower.
- Oliver (10/5): Pleasant -
- James (10/5): - •••••
- Heather (6/5): - Staff were very friendly but the floor in my room was dirty, makes me wonder the last time it was mopped. The bed is bad, mattress made with springs which is weird and hard. The only good things was the price and they accept pets for $28.
- Aleksey (5/5): Hotel needs some work but a good stay for the price - It was floors werent clean, painted over black mold
- William (5/5): Passable -
- Beetam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (10/5): - I wanted to say that LeAnn was helpful with me the first night i arrived. Thank You
- Victor (8/5): Very good -
- Janice (10/5): I’m coming back to this hotel in our future. - We had a sofa to sit on and the place was a nice upgrade from the hotel we had just visited. Breakfast was good and the pool was clean even though I didn't use it. I would definitely want to comeback to this hotel. No ocean view is all.
