Guest Reviews
- Taylor (1/5): -
- George (1/5): I WOUNDNT GO BACK TO STAY HEAR AGAIN - WELL UNDER STAFFED NASTY ROOMS TOLIET DIDNT FLUSH SHOWER ONLY HAD COLD WATER NOT A CLEAN PLACE TO LAY YOUR HEAD TOWELS NASTY AND STAINS IN SHEETS
- DMarco (1/5): did have my room want my refund!!! - did have my room want my refund!!! did have my room want my refund!!!
- Chavon (2/5): Very sketchy - My room was cancelled when I arrived and no one contacted me.
- Kelley (3/5): If you plan on staying check your water temperature in the shower when you get there. - Close to highways and stores My shower did not have hot water. My room had not been swept or anything. There was dirt and stuff in the corners and under the bed. My room was never changed meaning the bedding. No fresh towels. The staff was never there early in the morning or at night. Check-in is from 3pm to 11pm but they leave the front desk at 9pm sometimes.
- Jeremy (1/5): -
- Barbara (5/5): - The staff wasn't knowledgeable about their own facility. I was delayed checking in while the staff discussed a new process or system they were planning to start using between themselves. I was tired. I just wanted my room
- machinehead3413 (1/5): -
- Markesha (4/5): - The front office was very nice My bed wasn’t clean and ny bathroom tub was dirty
- Danczyk (1/5): - Arrived at 530 p. Room not ready for almost 4 hours. Limited towels. Cat toy hanging from bathroom door. No soap. Bed was an army cot Smelled horrid of animal urine and we have no pets. Short staff and disorganized. Lack management knowledge. Manager outside smoking all the time. Absolute shit show. Requested 1st floor put on 4th floor. Given the excuses of new owners. Totally not prepared to run a hotel. Major run around .
- Hayes (1/5): - Room wasn't clean
- Alexis (1/5): - Once we arrive and tried to check in. There was no no one at the front desk. When I finally got someone they told me the hotel has been closed down and they would refund me my money back. Here it is April 23rd and still no refund back. I didn't like how everyone including the workers outside smoking
- Harris (10/5): Great - Everything the lady at the desk was very sweet
- Grimes (1/5): -
- Katie (1/5): -
- Jennifer (3/5): Not great. Looks are deceiving. - The location The room was not great. No toilet paper or bags, not clean, cook top rusted, the bed was super hard and not on a normal frame, and the floor was extremely uneven. I should have taken the hint when we showed up and numerous people in the lobby asking for refunds
- Jonathan (1/5): - I paid for my room ahead of time looking they get a good night's rest got there had to wait 50 minutes to check in staff was so slow only to find out I had no room. Other people complaining air conditioning not working rooms were dirty do yourself a favor spend an extra $50 but don't stay here
- Dan (10/5): Wish all motel experiences were this nice. - Excellent experience. Unfortunately, it was so nice that my subsequent stay at the Extended Stay off Carmichael Road in Montgomery was all the more crushingly disappointing. (Wasn't helped when Corporate stepped in to make sure I got totally screwed. Bastards.)
- Jennifer (1/5): -
- Niesha (8/5): -
- Jack (7/5): - Location, staff. My non smoking room has a smoke smell from the previous occupant. A beer bottle was in the trash can.
- Stewart (1/5): - Nothing didn't go pass front desk They was short of staff , room wasn't clean and was not going to ready until 7:30 pm so we didn't stay..
- Niesha (10/5): - Customer service 20/10

- Barret (4/5): I feel ripped off. Get real beds! - Mostly clean appearance Room smelled strongly of smoke and body odor. Not a real bed. Hide-a-bed style wire metal frame and hide-a-bed mattress was absolutely terrible. Why isnt there a real bed?!?! Especially for the price!!!! I got zero sleep as the floppy think mattress has the metal bars of the frame in my back. There was also body hair on the shelf in the bathroom.

- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Crystal (8/5): Very good -
- Hayes (8/5): Very good -
- Danyale (5/5): Decent - Location Look and vibe of the hotel
- Thomas (5/5): It was only for one night but I didn’t sleep very well and neither did my children. - No breakfast and the location was not horrible but the look and feeling I got from it put me in a feeling of be aware. The smell outside was horrible. The trash running over out front of the hotel was not appealing. The seemingly charge for using the phone just to call the front desk I thought was ridiculous.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): I’ve stayed at several extended stays and this location has been my favorite - Great location and felt safe Everything was good
- Estel (4/5): Will not be staying in on again - Motel name should have been a clue as to what kind of motel is. Bed was not big enough or comfortable. Made noise when getting in and out. Flooring was coming up like there had been a bad water leak. Also no coffee in room and no continental breakfast.
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Kimberly (7/5): Good - stayed here due to a snow storm we had and our old place the heat went out, the staff was very nice and friendly check in was super fast rooms were clean and well stocked the heat worked amazing considering we were in a freeze warning for a few days. sometimes the hallways had a overbearing smoke smell to them.
- Guy (10/5): Exceptional -
- 85lassf (2/5): AVOID IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP AND CARE ABOUT SAFETY - The pillows are awful, the sheets are cheapest I’ve ever seen and the bed is no better than sleeping on the floor. The noise is awful. People, sounds, stomping above. Rude front desk. They have many long term residents that seem to be deep into illicit drugs. It’s a gross nasty experience!
- Kayla (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kayla (3/5): Poor -
- Kayla (2/5): Very poor -
- Kenneth (4/5): You Get What You Pay For - First time staying at this type of hotel. It was the cheapest around, but I guess you get what you pay for. Had to wait for a long time just to check in because there was no one at the front desk. The bed felt like a sofa sleeper or bunk bed with a noisy and weak metal spring base. Positives were that it was faily clean and good water pressure.
- Williams (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jalessia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tia (10/5): - This Property is A-1 in my book!!!! The ladies at the front desk are ALWAYS Pleasant and Kind. My rooms Always are clean and presentable. Whenever I visit Pelham, This is the BEST place for me to stay.
- Tia (10/5): - Check in was Very Fast. The Young lady that checked me in knew her job very well, and she's quick and kind.
- Mcnealy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kayla (1/5): Bad - ROACHES
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location of the highway and options for food were good
- Eric (6/5): - There is enough room to park a trailer but characters hanging out in the parking lot and unfriendly staff
- 294chazs (2/5): Horrible experience would give negative star if possible DO NOT STAY HERE! - Would give this motel negative stars if possible. I was in town on business for 10 weeks and when I got in my room there was grease from the kitchenette all over the back wall and ceiling. Floors you have to wear crocs to walk on because when/if they do housekeeping ( I was skipped multiple times until complaining) there is no vacuuming just a sticky roller. Bed sucked you could feel every spring in it. I had a female literally stalking me to the point she got in my face at the local Walmart. They have multiple permanent "residents" including the staff. I had to get Pelham PD involved when their washing machine locked my clothes in and was told id be charged with destruction of property if I retrieved my own laundry. Icing on the cake was my last couple days there they had notified everyone they were having the roof replaced and not to park in construction areas that were marked off. I parked in an unmarked spot. When I went to lunch I had an extremely adhesive "Notice to tow" sticker on my truck window that if I didnt move my truck it would be towed in 3 hrs. F this place.
- Destiny (10/5): Exceptional - The room The room wasn’t really getting cold
- Jazmine (8/5): Very good -
- Louie (10/5): A good value for the price. The staff were very helpful and courteous - Convenient location. Very impressed with the security measures for the guest, Even though it is not in a bad location
- oshana (4/5): - The beds are si uncomfortably. We did nit sleep at all springs frin the mattress was not comfortable.
- Scott (6/5): - It was a bare essential room. The bed was a full size bed on a metal frame.
- Janice (7/5): Good - Nice place n very quiet!!! Bugs occasionally
- marshall (2/5): Not Recommended - The experience was just terrible. The hallway was noisy with loud music and people smoking weed. The police were there 3X and this also created noise. The room had roaches throughout the night. I will never book there again.
- Antonio (5/5): Passable -
- Gregory (8/5): - 👍
- John (4/5): Disappointing - The walls were thin, you could hear your neighbors
The bed was bad!
- Janice (8/5): Very good -
- Janice (9/5): Superb -
- Djean (5/5): Short stay clean and safe basic utility overnight. - The place was clean and was safe. It was extremely BASIC. A full refrigerator and a stove top, and microwave, no paper towels, if you paid extra you can get dishes, cutlery and cooking pots and pans. The linoleum floor was good. the AC was noisy but effective. The mattress was comfortable, no frills and no breakfast for $119 per night. SO basic. Not comfortable, not welcoming.
- Andrew (4/5): Wouldn’t stay again - The TV worked, and the room stayed at a good temperature. It was quiet at night. Room wasn’t clean, my bed sheets seemed like they weren’t changed out. The pillows had someone else’s hairs on them with No pillow cases. They didn’t have anyone at the front desk to check you in nor out- you had to call the main line to have someone to come. I had to wait 15 mins in a hot hallway just to get assistance. The toilet wasn’t flushed (had poop inside) nor cleaned.
- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional - Clean
- Jason (8/5): - When I first arrived at 8pm, there was no one at the desk. There was a sign that, in large print said "I'll be right back. I'm assisting another guest." After I waited for about 10 minutes someone who had already checked in returned to the lobby and knew that I actually had to call on the lobby phone for an employee (who was just through the door in the back behind the desk) to come out and help. When I went to check out around 8:30 am, a wooden shutter was rolled down at the front desk and instructions to call on a cell phone. Luckily the maintenance person came in the main door as I was puzzling on what to do and offered to take the room cards and check me out of the hotel. I don't know if it was accomplished or not and had no way to get a printed receipt.
- Carol (5/5): It was ok and the person who did come to the desk was nice - That it was quite No one was at the front desk
- Relyea (10/5): Exceptional - I came from Out of State ,l use to live in Pelham,And had The Best service , Security and no hassle check in.,Mother's Day Weekend is hectic Enough, and Thank you Jasmine and The Staff.
- Phyllis (6/5): - The floors were filthy and when I told the front desk, they indicated it was hard to clean the floors. Roaches came from the outlets in the kitchen and bathroom, and I stopped to tell the front desk at 10 AM and the window was closed. There was no iron or board in the room. We checked out.
- Jermaine (8/5): - Clean place
- Sabina (3/5): Poor - This place doesn't have breakfast, but multiple restaurants within 4-6 miles away Totally neglected appearance, needs a lot of renovations , especially bathrooms, smoking smell inside the building
- Sulane (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (4/5): - No one on front desk to receive the guest.
- Shawn (6/5): - Room was clean and completely acceptable. Mattress was not comfortable at all and bed springs where noisy.
- Jeff (4/5): Glad I’m not living there. - Location No house keeping and bed was horrible.
- Casey (4/5): - Loud. Rooms were sterile and uninviting. The beds were uncomfortable and was unable to sleep (sheets felt like plastic). Disappointing overall.
- Debra (8/5): - The big complaint would be the door to the hotel where you had to use your key card to get in. Took several tries each time but it was safe area and wonderful staff. Beds were not the best but comfortable
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant - Bed was very uncomfortable Stay was lovely
- Joshua (1/5): It was horrific. Like something out of a movie. - I like the fact the staff was professional. I like the fact it’s in a convenient location. I like the rates of the rooms. I did not like the smell of my room. Smelled like a rubber plant. I did not like that they weren’t any utensils to use in the kitchen area. The bathroom was equivalent to the using of a convenience store. The bed moves all over the place. No where to charge your phone if I Dnt have a wall plug. And the dang drink machine was not accepting cards.
- Dalila (8/5): Very good -
- Reginald (8/5): - I was pleased with the helpfulness of the night staff.
- Steven (4/5): Disappointing - Room smelled like weed
Someone was smoking weed in there before we got there
Tired and had to smell that weed smell all night
Now are clothes smell like it on the way to the beach
- Keiara (1/5): We walked in and walked right out, we didn’t stay. Would not recommend! - Absolutely nothing. The room smelt like cigarettes and the environment was not good.
- Dylan (4/5): - Very convenient location for Oak Mountain Amphitheatre. Price wasn't bad, but very much a no frills hotel with a lot of run down stuff and "unique" smells
- Cindy (10/5): Checked in very late and had a wonderful night's sleep. - The room was spotless, bathroom spotless. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. When we arrived, the reservations system was not working properly. There were two other parties waiting as well. One couple had a one-year-old baby and had been waiting for over an hour. They were sitting on the sidewalk in front of the building, trying to feed and entertain the baby. The other woman was extremely rude to hotel staff, screaming at them for something over which they could not control. The staff acted professionally and calmly while this tech glitch was happening. When the system was finally working, the staff got everyone in quickly. I was very impressed with the staff and told them that I appreciated the way they handled things.
- Lakeisha (1/5): I will never choose this hotel again! - nothing The smell and the the room was very outdated. The hotel was old and not clean.
- Kent (7/5): The location is convenient to the Interstate and several food establishments. - Convenient location Mattresses were worn
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
