Guest Reviews
- Timothy (6/5): No coffee?? - absolutely NO FOOD anywhere. None. No continental breakfast…. No coffee!!!!
- Damion (10/5): - Pretty good stay, nice staff, and clean rooms. Its a bit close to the highway which is good for travel, but can be noisy
- Tomas (10/5): - amazing,
- Tim (10/5): - Friendly staff throughout a very busy weekend!
- Robin (2/5): - There was roaches crawling it stinks really bad and covers was dirty
- Alicia (2/5): - Booked online. Couldn’t check in, nobody at front desk. Okay - so we didn’t read the fine print that it’s not like NORMAL hotels and nobody is at the desk during certain times…but still charge me.
- Walter (2/5): - The room was not ready, no sheets, towels, curtains, wet floor, bad experience
- Timothy (10/5): - Was given excellent service. Rooms as expected. No bugs, clean through whole hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Our room was filthy, the elevator, hallways were nasty, it smelled horribly, the people in the next room were constantly arguing & at one point, Saturday night while trying to go to sleep, it sounded like someone body slammed the wall. It shook my bed! The bath tub was gross and sadly unable to use it during our stay.
- Xavier (10/5): - Excelente,
Lo único malo es que las lavadoras y secadoras no estaba funcionando la App de pago
- Eugene (10/5): - Five ⭐
- Dietrich (2/5): - Very loud people living in the hotel had a bad smell in the hallway
- Heather (8/5): - The property was well maintained
- Michael (10/5): - Convenient and Ac was working awsome. Got lots of rest.
- BEVERLY (4/5): - Our room floor was sticky. The bathroom sink was clogged. There was no one at the front desk on Sunday until after 10:30am, checkout was at 11am, so we could not get any kind of help. We needed clean towels and the WIFI was not working. The staff that checked us in was very kind & helpful. However, they left shortly after I checked.
- MICHAEL (2/5): - No room available upon arrival
- Jeremy (6/5): - The first thing I was greeted with was the lobby smelled strongly of smelly dog. Not necessarily the property's fault, but it should have been dealt with and not ignored. I checked in after hours and the receptionist was helpful enough, but clearly unhappy with the late check in. The room itself was terrible. Unclean, dusty, moldy, dated, the beds were uncomfortable. I'm not picky in the slightest, but this was by far the worst Extended Stay property I've stayed in. I don't see how this location even falls under the Extended Stay banner.
- Darrell (10/5): - Clean , quit , safe
- Darrell (10/5): - The prices, cleaness , quit, safe
- Tracey (10/5): - Safe and quiet
- Patricia (4/5): - Occupants in the room next to us partied very late at night into the early morning. Also had two medium to large size dogs that were barking outside our room.
- EVELYN (2/5): - The outside of the building looks much nicer than the inside. The room was bare minimum- no lamps, no coffee pot, no hair dryer (front desk didn’t have any there either- when we finally could ask them since the front desk staff is limited hours) ) the room didn’t even have a hand towel- only two small towels and two wash clothes- no toiletries- bare minimum. The walls were paper thin- noisy-sketchy people yelling all hours- entire place smelled like weed and cigarettes. No. Just no.
- Josue (2/5): Terrible - This place is a home for pot users.
- Hansol (2/5): - Very poorly managed hotel, not clean, old, no shampoo, smoking smell in the non-smoking room
- Jose Jesus (10/5): - El hotel muy bueno, cama cómoda y buena limpieza
- Christine (4/5): - It does not look anything like the pictures and there was nobody's to ✔️ in at the front desk. We had to call the person working and wait because it was after 10pm. However the staff there was amazing and helpful once they came out. When we got to the room the bed was made but there was dirt and hair all over the fitted sheet when we pulled back the cover and the bathroom needed scrubbed and sanitized.
- Willow (8/5): - Staff was very helpful when we arrived later than planned!
- Amber (4/5): - Probably what I should have expected for the cost, but still not somewhere I will go back to or suggest others stay at.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - My understanding is that one person runs the place from what was shared with me, so I can see that being overwhelming. I’ve traveled a lot though and this is the first hotel that I’ve stayed in that didn’t have toiletries or a blanket provided.
- Gladys L. (2/5): - Terrible
- Mercella (2/5): - I hadn’t even gotten into the hotel, there was big dogs everywhere, poop, people living there, no receptionist to let me in.
- Sarah (2/5): Don’t stay here - This hotel was NOT clean by any standards. Did NOT feel safe while staying
- Michael (4/5): - Dirty place. poorly trained staff. Unprofessional.
- Derrick (4/5): - Parking lot was dirty and alot drugs going on with children riding there bikes all thur the parking lots around cars.We stay 3 nights never ask us or brought us clean towels.
- Dana (10/5): - This is an extended stay property. There will be people there that are staying for longer than a few nights. They do everyday things like clean their cars and play with their kids outside the property. Everyone was very friendly. Our room was very clean. Nothing fancy, but perfect for our two night stay for a volleyball tournament. We were only there to sleep. There is no lounge area. This is a place to sleep comfortably in a clean bed. My daughter left her favorite sweatshirt in our room when we checked out, and I called the next day, and the staff was SO EXTREMELY KIND AND HELPFUL! They located the sweatshirt and held it for me to pick up. We were so grateful to them for their kindness and help. If you need a place to stay at night, this will work. If you are looking for somewhere to hang out and have activities, keep looking. I slept very soundly and so did my daughter!
- Tiel (8/5): Nice and quite - Front desk was exceptional. Helpful with finding somewhere to eat. Handled a situation with drivers license (which was comicial). Only thing wrong no ice machine nor coffee maker in room.
- Candice (10/5): - Everything
- Rhonda (2/5): - Bugs in sink and on floor as soon as we stepped in the room.
- Shonnell (2/5): - Property falsely advertised. Suites are more like a small room with a bed and a stove next to it .showed staff and the immediately agreed! This was a important night and this messed up plans allot ! I did not and would not sleep here. (Also smells like cigarettes, not very clean
Staff was nice though
- Verified traveler (4/5): It works, I guess. - Got to the hotel 2 hours late and still had to wait an hour upon arrival for them to clean the room. Found crumbs in the sheets and mud all over the room. Not sure what took an hour to clean it. Left, called an hour after and couldn't get a hold of anyone to see if room was ready. I won't be staying here again.
- Stephen (2/5): - We were booked for 2 nights. Showed up the first night 2 hours before the end of the check-in time and there was no one there and a line of people waiting to check in. Finally someone came. We got our room and the cigarette smell in the room was so bad we couldn't stand it. We tried to get someone at the front desk to try and get a different room but no one would answer. We slept in the truck that night. Then they couldn't give us a different room the next night because they said they were booked. It was just an all around awful place to stay.
- Christella (6/5): - Nice location, quiet, within a 4 minute drive from several food options. Rooms were spacious and very basic on linens. The room was mostly clean, but the floor was dirty. Most of the furniture had either something wrong with it or cosmetic damage. I am usually not picky about those types of things, looking mainly for a clean budget hotel. But I wouldn't stay in this one again, mainly because I have stayed at much better in Louisville for the same price.
- Thomas (2/5): DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. - It was awful. The room was filthy, the lobby was filthy, even the elevator floor was full of trash. No staff anywhere to be found except when we checked in, that was the last time i saw an employee for our stay. The fitted sheet was covered in what looked like pubic hairs, when we took the fitted sheet off the mattress itself was covered in stains that looked like vomit and/or blood.
- Tina (4/5): - This hotel HAS NO ICE MACHINE ON SITE. Also, if you need coffee maker, extra towels, you are charged extra for them. Housekeeping NEVER refreshed our room or supplies Foul smell in stairway. Hallway had HUGE hairballs and trash in hallway the ENTIRE 5 days we stayed there. Our tub filled up during showers and drained SUPER SLOW. We had to hold handle down to get toilet to flush. This is a hotel with several residents living permanently on site. It was cheap and worked for what we needed, but I recommend bringing your own coffee pot, coffee, towels, toilet paper and ICE.
- Jake (2/5): - Very unclean
- Charles (8/5): - We came to town for one night of Bourbon and Beyond. Staff was pleasant, room was very clean. There are a lot of semi-permanent residents that others have complained about, but we found them to be helpful and nice. Shouldn't judge a book by its cover, especially when it comes to people. Even with them socializing outside, the hotel was very quiet. We didn't really check out the facilities other than our room, but we found the hotel to be clean and well kept. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Louisville.
- George (8/5): The right price - No frills overnight stay.
- Melisha (10/5): - I absolutely loved my stay here at Woodspring Suites Louisville South!! The staff was so friendly and helpful, our room was clean and well kept. I will DEFINITELY come back to this location!! Keep up the awesome work!!
- David (8/5): - Excellent staff, nice rooms, laundry works. decent price. Elevator was out and us on top floor. Lol. 😂
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good overnight stay - This hotel appears to cater to alot of extended stay individuals so there is quite a bit of wear and tear. For the price it was fine. Room was clean, shower was hot, air conditioning worked great and bed was comfortable. Had a nice full size refrigerator with freezer.
- James (10/5): - Love staying here very laid back and family friendly along with furbabies 😁
- Verified traveler (2/5): Unfriendly - When we first pulled in, there were two men outside smoking Marajuana. We walked in and there was a lady folding towels behind the desk and it took her a minute to get to us. I offered cash and she said no. She took my ID and then ask how old I was after she already saw the date. Then she told me that I have to be 21 to enter the room but on their website, it said 18.
- Kaleb (2/5): - Toilet was nearly inoperable. Hallways smelled atrocious. Bed felt like a rock.
- Martin (4/5): - Low quality rooms, and sketchy clientele.
- Phillip (4/5): - Did not feel safe.
- Fernando (4/5): Disappointing - Outside looks fantastic but inside is another story. The hotel smells bad and is not very clean. Illicit activities inside the hotel makes things worse. Needs better maintenance.
- Joseph (6/5): - There were no ice machines, irons in the room, bed slid across the floor just by sitting on it. Hallway smelled like marijuana. 20 ppl sitting out front of the entrance to lobby smoking. Elevator was disgusting. DEFINITELY not what the pics look like
- robert (2/5): - Found out when we checked in that they were overbooked. Checked the others in the area…same result. Didn’t even recommend other hotels in area.
- Edward (6/5): - Dogs barking all night. First night a dog fight in front of my door at midnight. People running and yelling/talking all night.
- Mark (2/5): - It’s a dump. Elevator is filthy. Couch was missing in room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a good overnight hotel. - More an extended stay hotel. No ice machine, no breakfast. The bed was just a mattress on a cheap metal frame. Will not stay there again.
- Kellie (2/5): - We had the sweetest gal check us in and out all in a 20 minute time span. Homeless folks leaning on our truck. Eyeballing the things we had in the bed of the truck. Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Hair & miscellaneous on the sheets. Toilet leaked. Marijuana smell was obnoxious. The city rents rooms and puts up the local homeless. One man has lived there for 8 years.
- Christina (10/5): - Didn’t have a coffee pot
- Dennis (4/5): - Horrible skunk weed smell throughout the place and lots of barking dogs.
Would never stay here again.
- Erica (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and our room was really clean
- Armando (4/5): - The bed was super uncomfortable every time you move it squeak very loud, the floor on the bathroom had big gaps in between. The tv had white dots on the screen some walls had holes that weren't repaired correctly .
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Absolutely not what the pictures showed. The hotel was dirty in a bad area and not at all comparable to the photos or description.
- Hannigan (2/5): Disgusting - My room smelled horrible and there were dust piles laying around that had never been swept up. Hadn’t cleaned the hardwood floor in weeks, and it was sticky. Will not be revisiting next time.
- Charles (10/5): - Staff has been amazing. Treated us like family.
- John (4/5): - We left literally a half hour after arriving and even that time was spent in the room on our phones trying to find another place. People were shouting at each other in the hallway. The front door had several people just hanging out that were clearly heavy drug users. The place itself is fine and I truly feel bad for the staff but we absolutely didn’t feel safe there.
- Larry (6/5): -
- Doug (8/5): - Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay. The back entrance door card reader wasn't functional so had to park in the back and walk around to side or front. Room was decent, could have used a sweeping/mopping but like everywhere else I'm sure they're shorthanded too. I didn't like only having one set of towels etc. and I don't feel that you should have to pay a separate fee for other towels. A decent place to stay, fairly priced if you don't mind a few what I would call inconveniences,
- Jeffrey (4/5): - The room itself was good and seemed clean except for the hypodermic needle we found in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. Guests are loud and run in and out all night, and congregate at exit doors at all hours smoking and smoking marijuana, and we had to walk through the smoke clouds every time we came or went. We smelled smoke in the hallways, common areas, and elevator as well so the no-smoking policy is apparently a fallacy. Night staff congregated with the guests outside the front or rear exit door, smoking with them, being loud and raucous. Not sure if she was smoking marijuana but she was certainly in the group who were smoking marijuana. We also found SEVEN hypodermic needles around the grassy areas just outside the parking lot. The place must be filled with drug addicts. Cars were playing very loud music in the parking lot at all hours of the night. All in all, the place was seedy and scary and I am thankful my children were not with me on this visit!
- Gwen (6/5): - Friendly staff clean rooms and property but due to covid no room service . Had same sheets and towels for 2 weeks . Tried get trash bags and toliet paper and that was a no go . End up going store buying our own . If staying for a couple nights great place but after a few nights I'd not recommend this place unless you cone ready to supply whatever you may need on your own .
- Dalton (2/5): - Room was clean and nice, common areas were dirty and smelled musty of dirty mop water. Crowds gathered at all exterior doors and smoked, including marijuana, particularly in the evening / night. Staff was among the crowds, and I don't know if they were smoking marijuana but they were certainly smoking cigarettes. We had to fight out way in and out of the building and breathe clouds of smoke every time we came and went.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nobody was there to check me in
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Price only
- Verified traveler (4/5): Don’t do it very sketchy - This place gave off a bad vibe! It don’t get cleaned much and the one elevator had a weird smell all the time. The front desk was closed after 7 and took forever for someone to come to it if you needed something. The people around there were sketchy and it felt like a place people were living by a weekly or monthly base due to the price point. Take your family or business elsewhere.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was nice. Loved the front desk staff!
- Rebecca (6/5): Nice hotel. Needs check-in improvements. - If you are checking in after checkin hours be prepared to wait. We waited almost an hour for someone to come down to check us in. We had to call corporate and finally got someone to come down. Once they did, you will fill out tons of paperwork. So be prepared for a lengthy check-in!
- Athenia (2/5): - Only gitten ny sheets changed twice the whole 8 weeks i stayed
- Joanna (2/5): - Very dirty and stunk
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Clean room, short staffed and no breakfast. No coffee in the room. Check in was slow and staff seemed to ask for extra info that I've never been required to give before. Very slow and the front desk closed early
- ellen (4/5): - the room was not as adversises the ad on booking .com was wrong
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a perfect stay.
- Tracey (10/5): - In between homes so calling this home. It's great and the staff is awesome! The staff is so polite and helpful.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - one star
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hated it they wouldnt ket ne check im Till 3. But my plane was early at 11 so i cancelles my reservation
- sarah (4/5): Stingy - The front desk is there but they have the front desk covered up so you have to dial 500 from a phone on the wall to check in after hours which is inconvenient and the lady is right behind the counter and opens up the window, it seems unwelcoming. Also they did not provide enough towels and wash cloths. When I asked for extras I was told they do not provide extras due to COVID and there is no housekeeping and no tolitries in the room, no coffee maker or iron. I have stayed in many other hotels during COVID and ALL other hotels have an attendant at the desk 24/7 AND provide extra towels and tolitries.
- James (8/5): Great room - The stay was peacful very comfortable but you can only have one device connected to wifi!!! ONE!! We all have phones and i need my laptop.. very silly but everything else was great
- Kayli (2/5): - Well when I got into my room I checked everything my sheets were nasty had make up stains all over the blanket wasn’t even on the bed the GM changed my room but the next room had bugs a crazy lady woke me up banging on my door and just about everyone else’s door how that lady got into the building at 4am and stayed inside until 8am beats me. Don’t use none of the washing machine for nothing it steals your money took a good $20 from so does the drink machines! The hallway floors had wet floor signs but had chunks of mud all over the place hadn’t been cleaned the whole week I stayed a fire alarm went off at 3:30am one early morning. And on my final day when I checked out to get my credit back for one or two days the lady charged my card extra. This hotel is a hot mess needs a better manager! You think with COVID they’d get up and clean something ?
- Diantha (10/5): - The staff was very friendly, explained all the benefits of the hotel, what to do if there is any problems. I will book this hotel again, great service!
- Krystal (2/5): - Absolutely terrible. The people that work here are extremely rude!
- Marshall (4/5): - Not a pleasant stay at all. The whole place has a "sweaty boot" funky smell to it. Rooms are super noisy due to paper thin walls and ceilings. Don't expect to get much sleep or peace and quiet because it ain't gonna happen.
- Robert (6/5): It's getting remodeled...... - It's a non smoking hotel, but lot's of people staying here are smoking whenever the chance arrives including the elevator. It's a clean location, plenty of parking. Budget friendly and staff is friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Meh. - Desk person we encountered was most friendly, courteous, couldn't ask for better. Property was clean, although showing signs of wear, although there were signs indicating ongoing renovation. Vinyl laminate flooring everywhere was a big downcheck. Elevator needs some quality TLC. Toilet did not flush properly; needs new flush valve. Pillows excessively flat, air mattress would have been better than the bed. Lack of a coffee machine anywhere, including vending area, was a really big bummer.
- Michael stevenson (2/5): - Worst experience ever!
- Jonathan (2/5): Unfriendly Wood crap Springs Suites - So I booked this hotel through a 3rd party. Hotels. com. My construction crew and I got to the hotel and no one would let us in. The night clerk was extremely rude to the 1st crew member, (an army veteran) that got there before the rest of us. She told him that they were booked up and he had no reservation. The man was Not Out of line what so ever. She then called an overnight hotel agent and claimed the man was drunk and said It was me. I had not made it to the hotel yet, yet my name was being used as a drunken man trying to get into an already stepping foot in Wood Crap Springs Suites. Will never forget such a terrible and weird experience. My guess, the place was overbooked and this dramatic gal started blaming innocent customers.
- Dennis (2/5): - I booked the room for my son.
They would not take my credit card over the phone.
They said they were going to send me an email with a form so they could process the credit card.
THEY NEVER SENT THE FORM
I had to wire the money to my son so he could put it on his credit card. And the manager onsite was not a very personable person.
- Tedley (8/5): - The staff was excellent, the front desk genuinely made you feel welcome. I witnessed the front staff going over and beyond to provide excellent customer service. The rooms were spotless and odorless! My room had one 12” crack in the ceiling over the air conditioner, otherwise I was satisfied with the price and my stay at this property.
