Karen (6/5): - Bed was not a queen bed, it was very small. The heater/air conditioner were not in very good shape, loud and struggled to keep temp. Bed was too close to the wall no room for pwrson to get around bed.

Matthew (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE... TOTAL HOLE! - Hotel is an absolute no-frills hole. Hotel claims to be extended stay, but their is nothing in the rooms... No pots or pans, no dishes or glasses, and no utensils. Guess they expect us to bring our kitchen wars along for the trip. My wife and I didn't start one night in the hotel and the hotel refused to refund our money. Terrible customer service.

The kitchenette must have been from 1950, their were no dishes or pots/pans, the bed looked like a platform bed from Ikea, the only chairs in the room were banquet chairs, and there was no desk. This is supposed to be an extended stay suite. Needless to say, I will not be returning. :(
Verified traveler (2/5): - The smell of smoke is overwhelming when you walk in the hallway and room which triggered an asthma attack. The BIG boxer dog nextdoor barked non-stop. You can clearly hear everyone’s conversations while in a separate room. Absolutely no privacy.

Brian (6/5): Ok but could be better - Very pet friendly which was good for my service dog but the elevator smelled like dog urine for first 9 days of 14. I didn’t have a problem gathering my towels and exchanging them at the front desk but no one ever offered to clean the room or swap bed linen. Needed extra time checking out after 2 weeks and they about gave me a heart attack trying to meet their time hack considering long waits for a slow elevator/multiple trips. Got locked out and they acted like they might not let me back in for my last couple items. Never saw much housekeeping then, suddenly, half of the staff is waiting for “only me” to get out of their way. Weird vibe, lot of marijuana smell in and around hotel.

Everything stank of cigarettes, weed, and alcohol, walls were thin and I could hear everything my neighbors were doing, and as a single woman traveling alone, I was worried about my safety. Things just didn't feel right here.

They fixed it but wanted a different room but was fully booked. The only reason for staying was I was in the area for 7 days and the price was manageable. The maintenance man stands outside smokes and sells weed all day while living at the hotel. You get no help from staff. This place is a joke.

Came back at night to find no hair dryer in room and no toilet paper was in room either, good thing I had rolls in car. It was after 10pm and front desk was closed and said to call. Could here them on other side of wall but was told they don’t give out hair dryers after hours and told I was wrong about no toilet paper. Shower was awful too.
Gregory (4/5): - The desk clerk was MIA for 30 min. Tried the call the front desk thing with no success. Called the national number and was getting close to having them call someone in charge when he showed up. His eyes were 21st century Michigan glassy (if you get my drift) The shower head had obviously been broken for some time. It was being held up with a cable tie. The tub drain was clogged. We won’t give this brand another try.

Gerald (6/5): Not the place to extrnded stay. - The beds were like sleeping on a pull out couch. They were metal framed with no box spring there was nothing to cook with, no utensils, no pots, no pans, and this was the kitchennet. And what they said was they had no way to disaffect it. So they didn't have nothing for you to use. But it really makes no sense, considering it's just like being at home, but obviously not.
Verified traveler (4/5): Very disappointing - Arrived at 3:25 to check in, no one around. Called phone number provided multiple times, no answers. Left after 35 min. came back 30 min. later and finally had people at the front desk. Not overly happy when we said we had already waited over 30 min to check in. 1st room we got had greasy stove, dirt on the floor, something smeared on the wall and part of the blinds broken off. Second room was better. Very generic, no dishes/pans provided for kitchen. TV buttons didn't have batteries, night desk clerk was very polite when changing them and apologized for rude people on earlier shift.

Fridge doors opened on the wrong side, weird when they can be moved. Fortunately the beds felt much more comfortable than the camping cots they resembled. Hotel smelled funny, probably because they allow pets, which was made even more clear by the frequent dog barking. There's also no sound proofing, you can hear everything, even footsteps walking in the hallway.

There was loud music coming from one room and another room had a dog that barked and the owner continued to yell at the dog for hours. We checked out the next morning and asked for a refund for the unused night since we could not stay another night and not sleep. We got nowehere. Will never stay at another woodspring.
harley (2/5): - The gentleman working on this Friday night was not helpful. He was rude and unprofessional and wouldn't get a manager. We just wanted to switch rooms since the one we had a horrible smell that opening the windows did not help.

Starting with calling over and over again to make sure someone was there to let me in because I was to arrive at 11:30 pm. Finally a man, that seemed to live and work there came gave me keys and I lugged myself up to the third floor only for the keys not to work. Lugged my stuff back down, sat on them in the hallway and called and called to an empty office. I called Choice hotels corporation and that got me no where… finally that man came out of his room and I jumped up to say… please help me. He came up with me and the locks are failing he said. He used a master key, after many tries got me in. Told me I couldn’t leave till the morning because I would be locked out. There is much more to say but that’s just the first 2 hours. Barely any staff and no real trace of anyone running it. I was stuck, Labor Day weekend in a vacation town!
Brian (4/5): - The room was basically stripped bare. No hair dryer, no coffee maker, the air conditioner made the room humid. The toilet handle was loose and nearly broken. The towels were pretty thin and took all day to dry due to the lousy air conditioner issue mentioned above. The beds were OK but not on box springs and the rooms have linoleum, not carpeting so you hear noise from the other rooms. This hotel is more like a college dorm room than a hotel.

Ronald (10/5): Excellent stay! Enjoyed every minute. - Front desk was super friendly. Went above and beyond at checkin to ensure I got my luggage brought in, even carried a couple of heavy boxes. Room was clean, Halls were clean. Fresh fragrance everywhere. Outside there was no trash. As the least expensive place in town, it was surprisingly not quite what I expected. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location and friendly staff. The room itself smelled musty, there was a lot of dust on the fan in the bathroom, and the shower curtain rod was falling off the wall.

Jennifer (2/5): - We booked a room with 2 double beds. They gave us a room with one double for one adult and two teens. No one gave us any options to help us, no manager on site at all. Expedia’s customer service was also terrible and couldnt help until they spoke to a manager at the hotel-there wasnt one, they also were not able to find us another hotel after over two hours on the phone. We had to buy an air mattress because we were stuck hours from home. A manager never came to apologize or speak to us or fix the problem. There was no hot water Friday night or Sunday morning. My child got locked in the bathroom because of a faulty door handle. There were smears on the walls and holes and the one bed we had had hard sheets and a hard mattress. If we had any other options we would have obviously left. The hotel clerk said it was Expedias failt for booking rooms that they did not have, Expedia was not helpful in resolving the situation.
