Guest Reviews
- Kotah (10/5): - I highly recommend the extended stay in Bethany the rooms are really nice and comfortable. And the services are great.
- Jaydip (2/5): - Although the front desk lady was great .. the property smelled like smoke all the time.. it was horrible experience with terribly poor amenities
- dawn (6/5): - Location was good. But noisy from the freeway. Had to kill 2 roaches. Stayed about 2 weeks an no housekeepers ask to change my sheets or give me clean towels. 🤔
- Patricia (2/5): - Unfortunately, stars are a requirement.
We check in and laid down for a nap, when we got up we went to turn on the TV. It would not come on. I went and reported it to the front desk. They managed to get it on but it had the lines down the screen-someone busted it. She went and got the housekeeper, when she returned she told me I had to pay a pet deposit. I told her I had and was looking for the receipt. She then told us we needed to leave the property. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused, telling me to call back the next day.
When I called Expedia and told them what happened, they were right on it. They told me to give them 24-48 hours - I checked back with them and the hotel told them they could not discuss the issue and that we had never checked in.
I called the hotel and asked for a manager. Apparently the manager and the front desk clerk are the same person. She was rude and told me you could see where we smashed the TV on the screen. And that I was lucky they couldn't charge me for the TV. (They tried to charge my card for the TV twice before we ever left the property. Thankfully the charge declined.)
I have since called corporate and have yet to hear anything back and when I try to call, they act clueless.
I finally decided to dispute the charge for the pet deposit with my card company.
- Jennifer (10/5): - I didnt take no pictures of the room, but it was clean, didnt stink like cigarette smoke, the wifi was good quality they had a good size laundry room and the price was a steal. I would book with them again
- Hiram (10/5): - Very good
- Fariborz (10/5): - Great
- Elizabeth J (2/5): - Smelly, dirty, running with cockroaches! Just plain gross.
- Derrick (6/5): - Kool
- Ranceford (8/5): - Front desk was very helpful
- Raymond (8/5): - Nothing ordinary
- Shane (4/5): - The owner of the property was over the top ridiculous!!! You could tell she didn't trust anyone. No one wants to be treated like a criminal. The owner needs to trust people until there is a problem. I can't help it if she has been taken advantage of before. . . I am not one of those people she has to be concerned about & she was treating me like everyone else she couldn't trust who stayed there. If you're a grown man and you want to be treated like a little boy, then stay here. If you don't need a grandmother figure questioning your every move, then don't stay here. The owner needs to take a valium and calm down!! This is one of the worst experiences I've had at a hotel.
- Tilly (2/5): - I reserved on Expedia and day of check in they said the online price was wrong and it was actually double the price. Counter person was rude and had no options on solution for this bait & switch issue. So we never checked in and plus didn’t feel safe there anyway. Then they charged me for room fees even though I never officially checked in. I’m still waiting for a refund. Broken down cars, jacked up with hoods open and trash everywhere… none of that was in the hotel online photos or listed on the amenities.
- Mary (2/5): - Room booked paid for thru Expedia at check in was told room was not available was told could have another room with a $100 deposit and no refund on booked and paid for room
- Shantell (10/5): - Pleasant stay
- Erica (2/5): Don’t get to stay - Well I didn’t get to stay in my room as I was unable to check into it. When I tried to call and ask how to check in I got the operator who then said that there was no one on site so it would be best that I call whom I made the reservation through which I did and they where saying that they would try and get my payment refunded but I haven’t heard anything yet.
- Jessica or Brett (2/5): - Shower curtain smell like smoke. Damage to bathroom. Damage to HVAC unit and could see the outside. Cockroaches. Room had dirty walls and floors.
- jason (2/5): - Dump
- Amber (6/5): Guest Duhon - Bed was very uncomfortable. They had fees that i didn't know about like a 25.00 pet fee per pet per day. They also charge a 100 deposit that was not told to me before i booked my stay. They do not give you clean towels after first set. If you need additional toilet paper you have to pay for it. With hidden fees there low price isn't actually low. Then bed was hard AC didn't work very good. Won't stay with them again, but was an absolutely great location for Will Rodgers Garden in OKC. Lady at service counter was very nice. All employees were very nice. Not there fault about the hotel policies.
- Tryphena (8/5): - Check in and check out was wonderful. Room was clean, beds were a little tough, but it was good!
- Bradley (10/5): - Great
- Erin (2/5): DON'T STAY HERE! ROACHES EVERWHERE! - This Hotel was less than sub-standard! I was charged extea fees & a &100 deposit that Was Not originally Disclosed! I Did Not receive the type of Room that I reserved! There were Roaches in the room even coming out from under the TV! I checked out early & Still have Not received a refund for the 2nd night, or Any type of credit for the inconvenience! Front desk was Less than helpful and extremely rude! DON'T STAY HERE!
- Glenn (2/5): Crappiest hotel - Hotels.com f’d up reservations - I made two reservations one for myself for two nights, and the other for a person that I was transporting for surgery. When I got there, the hotel only had reservations for the surgical patient. My were not found even though I had paid for both. It took over an hour just to get me in. Hotels.com is to blame for this. The lack if phone numbers on mailings also contributed to not being able to resolve this quickly. I will never use hotels.com ever again!
The hotel is a dump. No amenities beyond on bar of siao, no hair dryers, no shampoo, no kleenex. No lamps just overheard spot lights, crappy conference room chairs. Outside door lock sensors that do notvwork.
At 9:30 at night, someone on staff was useing a vacuum cleaner in the hallways when people are trying to sleep. Then between 11:27 PM and 1230 AM the fire alarms kept going in and off … NO EXPLANATION. Instead of a restful night before surgery, neither one of us slept the whole night.
- Terry (8/5): - Staff is great. The property needs some maintenance
- Bonnie (2/5): - When I got there I was told I couldn't check in until 6 pm because I used Expedia when I showed her on my itenary that it said 3 p.m the clerk said I'm not going to argue with you they don't pay me enough so you need to take it up with Expedia and argue with them
- Jimmy (10/5): - Great service, front desk are great as well even during closed office time
- Lori (4/5): - I had bugs. I did tell them. They weren't able to exterminate until after I left. I was transitioning into moving. I wasn't even offered another room until the day before I left. I stayed a while and paid quite a bit of money. Thankfully I had some stuff that kept the bugs at bay.
- James (8/5): It gets the job done - It got the job done. Nothing all that impressive. Clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Derek (2/5): - Has roach's everywhere and bed bugs, it's very ghetto and there very rude
- Derek (10/5): - It is pretty affordable and clean
- Carell (2/5): - There were roaches in my room. Front desk was close and there was no way to contact anybody. I ended up not even staying the night at the room because was disgusted.
- Marcy (2/5): Disgusting - My room smelled like someone was in a drunk tank for 100 years and never washed. The smell lingered and some of my clothes still stink after being washed 10 times. I do not recommend this dump to anyone.
My room keys never worked had to get help from manger which was rude and unprofessional. I shouldn't have to ask for help going into my room every time. She didn't do her job.
- Kathleen (2/5): Do not stay at this particular location. - It was a nightmare. Bathroom was filthy the floors were dirty. Had to use the wash rags in the bathroom to clean the bathtub and the toilet but when I went to go get some more they're locked up they can't help you after 10:00 whatever the problem.
I wouldn't let my dogs stay at this place.
- Markea (2/5): - There were roaches in the room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Budget friendly but smells and very old inside - The check in process was fine, after booking my room online. I noticed behind the desk and in the small lobby it wasn't very clean, looked like it was old and not well-kept. It wasn't any better leading to the room. The entire place had an odor I couldn't define. The hallways, the room, the elevator. The room appeared to have nice, clean sheets. I didn't turn down the bed. The room appeared to be cleaned, despite the smell. The entire complex is just "older" and has not been updated or maintained very well. Honestly, it is what you'd expect for a $70/night room. I was in a hurry when I booked it, only looked at the exterior pictures (which look fair) and I wasn't planning to be in the room long. Getting in late, just to crash and leave in the morning. I did however end up leaving and booking another hotel. As I said, it was all to be expected.
- SCOTT (6/5): - Little out dated. Had a weird smell to it.
- Alex (8/5): Wood spring stay - The hotel was clean and the towels were great, nice and thick.
- Eva (6/5): - The location was great next to Will Rogers Gardens but the hotel was busy and noisy. Too many dogs and not very clean.
- Maria (2/5): Disappointed - No service ask for towels an the clerk refused an got angry in front of my kids
- Jessica (2/5): Run far far away - Room was absolutely awful! It was late when we got there and the girl they called down to check us in looked like she just rolled out of bed. The building was old and outdated. There were cockroaches crawling on the wall, the counters, bathroom, and kitchen area were dirty, and the beds were terribly hard. There were exposed electrical wires coming from the wall. All around terrible hotel.
- Daniell (2/5): This place is not what we expected! - The front desk receptionist is very rude. The rooms are not clean hair was all over our bathroom, the air condition is hanging out of the wall. Housekeeping needs to do a little better job. And the little old lady at the front desk is very rude.
- Julie (10/5): - The only negative thing about my stay was the few roaches I seen in my room other than that my stay was excellent.
- Aundrea (2/5): Roach motel - Was going well until roaches started climbing the walls.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor - The price was cheap. So I can only expect so much. The condition of the cabinets were poor with some drawers not working. The molding along the edges of the walls were pealing. The microwave dis not have the proper plate inside so it did not spin. There were so many roaches. I killed 15 within the first 4 days. Management did not have basic things like an iron to use. It was convenient and close to the airport. If you spend the first day cleaning and maybe bring a sleeping bag. Don’t spend a lot of time there, just sleep and leave start your day. And keep your things zipped and on the table. Clean out and repack your bag before you leave so you dont bring rosches with you.
- Kerry (4/5): Do better! - The floor looked liked it hadn't been mopped in a while and the last party to stay there was a bachelor party. The room was supposed to be non smoking but it smelled like a high school bathroom. The ceiling above the bath tub was falling in. That isn't even the worse part the remote to the TV was missing!!
- Rene (4/5): - Our reservation was changed at the last minute our room was changed to a smoking room
We didn’t like it
- Verified traveler (4/5): A dumpster would have been better. - I absolutely hated everything about my experience at this motel. Filthy, missing baseboards, poor condition, the room smelled like cigarettes, a dog barking… it was a dump!
- Rosalind (8/5): - I have no complaints
- Ashley (2/5): - Stove tops didn’t work. No shower curtain.
- Charles D (8/5): - All in all this is a nice and convenient place to stay in the city
- Alexander (6/5): Honest review - The customer service agent didn’t seem too pleased to be working there to be honest. They were friendly only twice from what I recall. The rest of the time they just seemed pretty annoyed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The price is always right, however when the front desk gal wants to charge me $20 for a key that didn't work.......now I have issues as the key never leaves my wallet other than to open the doors. That's the biggest issue I have while having to stay in a hotel......the 'key game' ! When I pay, I expect not to have issues coming and going. Plus the fact there was a FIRE at the hotel on July 1...........yes FIRE ! The hotel was evacuated for several hours and had heavy smoke smell that evening and my last night.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very rude staff
- Paula (2/5): Unacceptable - The room was dingy the bedding was unacceptable. Got off the elevator the air was stale from the smoke. Sat on the bed very uncomfortably. Didn't stay left.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Not worth it stay away !
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There’s bug everywhere also manager not friendly they didn’t change my room because worker should see somewhere bug omg stay away from here !
- Yuri (10/5): Convenient - Convenient location and close to expressway
- Amy (10/5): Quiet - I loved the location and quiet stay.
- Shannon (4/5): Blah - Had to wait until 7 pm to be able to check in and then had to mop my room myself. Trash sitting outside my room all night. Bad attitudes
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I checked in and they gave me a room where the bed was not fixed it smelled like cigarettes. The toilet was not flushed had a wand of tissue in it along with a cigarette inside it. The tub still had dirty water in the tub and the fridge was filthy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Call hotel to verify availability before prepaying - The lady that checked me in was great. This hotel over books itself on a regular basis, which I was unaware of. Some good advice is to call the hotel, before you book and pay pay for the room. This is the 2nd time that I booked and prepaid for a room at this specific hotel, and when I got there, no rooms were available. I saw 3 ppl who prepaid get turned away the first time and saw 6 ppl who prepaid get turned down the 2nd time. But, the clerk who checked me in actually went above and beyond by doing her job and someone else's and got me in a room. I had to wait a couple of hours, but I didn't mind because I saw the effort and energy that she put in to get me in a room. She saw an Uber drop me off and heard me say that I just spent the last of my money on it. So she did everything humanly possible for me. So, because of her and the fact that the hotel was clean, I will go back, if needed. Sorry I don't remember the clerk's name. Woodspring Suites NW, is lucky to have her.
- Kayci (2/5): Wow! And not in the good way - Couldn't even check in. I prepaid on Hotels.com. Then I paid for an Uber there. Only to be told they were over booked. But, I proceeded to watch her check in a customer, that had no reservation, no booking, just a cash paying customer. Then watched her turn 2 more people away. Finally after about 45 min Hotels.com found me a different hotel option and compensation for the issues I was encountering. Right when I was getting up to walk out and get in my Uber, the front desk clerk offered me a room after she told me they were overbooked and had nothing available, absolutely nothing. After hotel.com customer service called her to inquire about room availability abd was told the same thing I was, after watching her take a cash customer, turn down two more, after 45 min of sitting in lobby on phone, trying to figure out what I was going to do, she then offered me a room after she heard me talking to rep on phone, thanking them for getting me a room elsewhere. I couldn't believe it
- Marcinique (8/5): - The clerk at the front desk (older female) was extremely rude when I was checking in. She had an attitude when she assigned me to a room with a messed up lock & she had to give me a new room.
My air conditioning/ heater did not work & she also had an dismissive attitude when I asked for extra blankets, it was around 27 degrees the entire time I was here.
- Jessica (2/5): - Showed up at this place and walked around the whole building before I had to call someone to come check me in as they had nothing posted they had special hours due to New Year’s Day. The first room I got was run down, laid on the comforter which was covered in someone else’s hair. The bathroom was covered in pubic hair and dirt, it clearly wasn’t cleaned and the covers had not been washed in some time. When i asked if I could just have a refund and leave, I was denied. I was then offered another room, reluctantly I said yes because I Was there for my dads funeral and didn’t have many options. In the second room, I decided to take a shower and realized the ceiling board was missing and insulation was hanging out. When I was finally getting ready to go to bed, I pulled the sheets off and immediately saw something jump. They have bed bugs, I quickly changed my clothes gathered my belongings, and called the office. The receptionist didn’t even seem to be bothered by the fact that I just told her and have a picture of bed bugs at her hotel. I received a whole story about how her manager was out and wouldn’t be able to get my money back for 7 to 10 business. DO NOT stay in this hotel, it seemed doable because of the price not worth the stress of being exposed to bed bugs and the filthy conditions. There is also signs on every door that require everyone to wear mask. The only person wearing a face mask was the receptionist and nothing was being done to enforce this.
- Kayla (2/5): - I paid for two weeks but I checked out after 1 week. At first they told me I would need to get my money back from Expedia when I stated I paid at the property they stated they didn’t give refunds. The front desks lady stated she emailed the manager to get me a week’s refund to date I’m sill waiting on her call. I called her after two days and she stated “I told you I would call you when he (the property manger) email’s me back, he’s in Chicago.” Just RUDE & I never read where it stated they wouldn’t refund especially since previous to her knowledge of me paying at the property stated Expedia should refund you! Worst experience ever..
- Amanda (6/5): You get what you pay for. - Stayed here for a little over a week for business. Didn’t expect much given the price, but it was safe. Front desk staff were cold and unhelpful. My bed was broken. Using the stove would shut off the bathroom electricity. The front of the a/c kept falling off, and insects would fly in from the holes around it. Honestly, it’s not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but I hope to not stay here again.
- Jerry (2/5): Sucked not staying with them again - Bad service all around
- Debbie (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised. - I needed a long stay (10 days) with pets. For the price I wasn’t too excited about the stay. However, once I got to the property, everyone was so welcoming and kind, the room was clean, large, And the area for my dogs was clean and convenient. The only complaint I had was the mattress could have been a little more comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Garbage employees - The front staff were unprofessional and very disrespectful. They swore at me and my fiancee and laughed at our appearance. We may not be well off but it was uncalled for. The african american woman who checked us in should not work customer service.she made us feel less than and treated us like garbage. I wouldn't stay there if they paid me to. I would not recommend woodsprings to even my enemy. And to think I was looking forward to our stay there.
- Stacy (2/5): - My experience here was terrible! The first night me my aunt and 3 children slept in the heat running 3 fans we had to buy to try and cool down the room because the ac was broke along with the frigde that wouldnt get cold so i wasted over 100 dollars on food.the next day thet moved us into a room that what better as far as air conditioning, and frigde but they had not cleaned aaperently because i fund guaze that was used in the dresser my 3 year old also picked up a bullet i paid for a week but left early they can keep they money for the other nights police there daily smell of drugs bekng used in the halls .NO HOUSE keeping had to use same bedding for the week buy broom ,mop, and cleaning sipplies to keep my own room clean and im sorry staying in a room is the one time as a mommy of little ones i get a little break but not here i had to clean the room just to stay in it because it was dirty.I do not recommend this to anyone with children or in that case anyone at all.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The hotel smells like piss , the staff are the most u professional I’ve ever witnessed , they were anything but Accommodating and I regret ever staying .
- Timeka (10/5): Guest Service is great. - It was nice. The room was decent. The ladies at the front desk are awesome and helpful.
- Paul (10/5): - Great service. I loved it. The receptionist was a bit unfriendly but the rest was splendid
- Matthew (2/5): Worst customer service ever - I would not recomend using this woodsprings or hotels.com to book a room here! Eveeything was all good and fine tell i show up at hotel and find out they have sold out. After calling hotel to verify room availabilty! I sat on hold and on the phone with hotels.com from 8:30 to 12:45am just to be told sorry there was nothing they could do! So i paid $53 to sleep in my car last night!
- Melissa (6/5): Drug area!! Rooms dirty - Room was dirty. Had to buy our own linens because they didn’t provide them due to covid-19. Also they didn’t clean our room and the door was barely hanging on. We had to pick up it up to lock it. Cops were there at almost nightly due to drugs. The staff are friendly, just don’t do anything. The tub was dirty, water ran nonstop from faucet, and the air conditioner didn’t work very well.
- Anna (2/5): - I’m very upset with wood springs I booked a room through Expedia and the front seat told me they were booked so I needed to take it up with Expedia so I did and she called and they told her they could not refund my money till the next day and it’s been several days later and still nothing
These are extremely hard times for me because of covid19 I barley had enough money that day to get a scary cheap motel
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Every part of customer service was a night mare.. & they are not kid friendly @ all. I do not recommend this place thts the NW facility. The othet wood springs on 40 was fantastic
- Kyla (2/5): - There was one pillow on the bed and no big towels only small towels .
- Terry (4/5): - The front desk person was not very helpful
- Shaakeelah (6/5): Was not that good. - The freezer was a mess and they don't have premium cable channels.
- Cheriece (10/5): Good price but cost me alot more for a cheap price - The hotel has a great price and affordable. There were roaches so as far as cleanliness that can improve. I had to stay because I couldn't get a refund because of using a third party site to book the room and getting a special rate. So I had to make the sacrifice and share my room and food with roaches. Not very fair at all cause it ended up costing me more money. I had to go buy bug spray and before I went to the next hotel I had to go to the laundry mat wash everything and through alot of things away that I wasn't able to spray like my office stuff , laptops, printers, food ,and getting my car super detailed to make sure that they don't move with me where ever I go.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room they gave me the ac was messed up they moved me Immediately no questions no gripes and just move me it was so nice
- Aqueela (6/5): Fair - Room 211 a/c cover was torn off and the board that was supporting the window seal was outta place
- Granja (4/5): - I rented 2 rooms and one of them had roaches and the air conditioner was broke so it was very hot and the lady at the front desk was very very rude
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room had roach's. The bathroom was not clean we left the hotel after 10 minutes. They wouldn't even give us our money back and we booked it for a week.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible - Awful, awful service. Refused to check us in because it was after 7pm, even though I had called and confirmed reservation and that we could be checked in late.
- forgetname (2/5): - the lady told me on the last day at the last min i still owed 27$ when they had already took 287 off my card for a week i was upset
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room didnt have everything itbwas suppose have. Worker told me she woukd accomdate me by switching rooms. Then called back sajd she didnt have time . then said she woukd again. And called backbone last tine and said no she only had ten mins to close. She said she
e would today
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a good stay
Would recommand anyone to stay
- Jarvis (2/5): - They Gave my reservation up and didn’t tell me until I came to check in.. highly upset had to pay for another Lyft and make a reservation elsewhere. Front desk was no help, just said sorry.
- Summertime (2/5): - Nothing!! The front desk didn’t even let us stay!!!
- Lewis (2/5): - I was charged unfairly with hidden fees. I checked in just minutes before checkin time, and was charged an extra 50$ without being told why. They blamed it on Expedia.
- Alyssa (10/5): Nice - Clean friendly
- Truthteller (2/5): - Its like a prision never stay at this hotel had blood spatter on the ceiling no ice machine only 2 devices allowed on wifi from ur room tiny bed. Smells bad and ect.................
- Verified traveler (6/5): Alright - It was a good place to stay at for the night although the fridge didn’t keep my food cold nor did the freezer also the microwave didn’t even work which was a bummer because I wanted to make me something & couldn’t.
- jeana (6/5): - Never came to take out trash, or give clean towels or make bed. I stayed over 6 days. Other than that the room was nice.
- Verified traveler (2/5): BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS - We booked this hotel, looking for something inexpensive. We only needed to sleep there, as we were in town to spend time with family for the holiday. As soon as we got there and started the check-in process, we saw very shady clientele. We got to our room and there was someone in there, as our key worked but the flip lock/latch on the door was locked (so we could open the door and see in partially but could not enter). Went downstairs and got another room, as we had already paid so that was the only option. We ended up just going to another hotel and eating the money, as it was way too sketchy there
- Verified traveler (4/5): Clean room, but bare and noisy - When I booked on Hotels.com, I chose my desired type of room. When I got there, that type of room was t available. I had to call in to cancel and re-reserve, after driving 12.5 hrs. Then key didn’t work.
Room was clean. The TV didn’t work though, and the toilet didn’t flush.
Neighbors were quite noisy and woke up at 3 am to screaming of sorts. Wasn’t sure if it was an animal or a person.
Front desk gal was a peach and had great customer service.
The rooms come with a kitchen, however there were no cups, dishes or silverware. And no coffee. Having these things would be a nice touch.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Front desk personal are extremely rude! This property has drug addicts al around the hotel.
- Stacy (8/5): - It was nice
