The moldy silicone in the shower was a bit off-putting & the bed was quite bouncy so partner's were woken every time one of us turned over. No air con in bedrooms either, but we overcame this by leaving loungeroom air on overnight & bedroom door open.
Kimberley (8/5): Great location, ideally suited for those without kids. - Great location, friendly service from managers and hassle free check in/check out. Great parking, lovely pool space. The apartment wasn’t very clean, dirt and mould in and around the showers, dirty kitchen cupboards and dirty crockery. Dusty lamps and surfaces. Stained throw to sofa. No starter kit of basic amenities as advertised ( washing liquid, teas coffees, detergent, toilet roll bin bags etc) managers were notified and gave some minimal bits. Windows to children’s room had no safety catches and opened right out, unsafe falls risk for an advertised family apartment. No shade/umbrellas around the poolside for kids/babies.

The size of complimentary bath soap / toiletries was very small . For the Star Rating/cost of this property per night, I would have expected body wash/ shampoo available on pumps in the bathroom.
Warren (9/5): Will return as the stay was awesomeness :) - Great position on the Esplanade the access to the beach was so close it’s ridiculous. 10 minute walk into Burleigh heads where there are lots of great restaurants and shops. The apartment I have was amazing and the bed was so comfortable which can be hidden miss when you travel. Paul was a great host and all round good guy. Nothing.

Limited basic amenities like 2 rolls of toilet paper, watered down hand soap, 1 dishwasher tablet, no spray and wipe, 3 sugar sachets. When paying premium prices the basics should be provided. No aircon or fan in 3rd bedroom, portable fan provided.

Debbie (7/5): We enjoyed our stay at Indigo Blue - The staff & facilites were great and the unit was a god size with a great view! The unit was very tired and needed some urgent TLC and general maintenance! Some of the furniture was very old and when I opened one of the draws in the bedside table , it had a such a musky smell I couldn’t use it, the double bed was very uncomfortable! The car park we were allotted was extremely had to get into and the car we wanted to put in was impossible to fit so we had to leave it on the street for the 10 days we were there!

Pam (10/5): Happy travellers. - The location was perfect. Sunrises and moonrises were just beautiful. Beach is directly across the road. Easy walk to restaurants and pubs and will have a short walk to the light rail once it is extended to Burleigh. Indigo Blue has good sized apartments. Facilities are just what you need. Our apartment was clean, modern and the balcony was private. The unit was quiet with aircon in each bedroom and the living area. The lifts are fast and efficient and the garage was clean. There was nothing we didn't like really. There was an issue with a shower screen. Once I mentioned it to the manager, the issue was noted to be corrected.

Jackie (9/5): A great place that could easily be even better. - There is so much to like about this property. For all those who have read in previous reviews I would like to set your mind at rest and advise that there is new management and they are very good. Approachable and helpful. We had a 3 bed apartment on the 6th floor which had a great view of the ocean and the trees on the esplanade. The apartment was a good size for the five of us. Two bathrooms were ideal. The kitchen was fine and we were able to prepare a variety of meals. The undercover car park was good and secure. Everyone really enjoyed the pool which was heated. We also felt that the price we paid for two weeks was really good value. There were some things about our apartment that we feel could be fixed so easily and make it so much better. The bedroom carpets were quite dirty and need cleaning. The Venetian blinds in the ensuite need throwing out as they serve no purpose and are old and look dreadful. Please also get rid of the toilet brushes in both bathrooms as are rusted and hopefully they aren’t used. The other criticism, which is common with apartments, is that you have to purchase so much yourself if you are there for any length of time. We had to buy toilet paper, tissues, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, washing powder, dish cloths, washers etc. One clean towel per person per week is also crazy although the Manager was kind enough to give us another. You need to wash them yourself.

The staff (particularly the female owner) was outstanding, no request was an issue and she worked to accomoday! Even to remove some cobwebs! A rollaway was easily sorted. On arrival, it was a little frustrating to find all the windows had cobwebs outside, haven't been cleaned, inside some cobwebs inside bathroom and bedrooms. The owner quickly vacumened them and apologised. The rooms were otherwise clean, kitchen etc. It would have been good to have some more supplies like soaps for cleaning in kitten and bin bags, especially for the week or more stays. Dish liquid et.

There was a lack of supplies in the apartment. A stay of 10 days should have more than 2 spare toilet rolls for 6 people. Also washing up liquid was just one sachet as was dishwashing tablet-only 1! Very small bar of soap in bathrooms and no hsndsoap in kitchen.

Nigel (8/5): A comfortable stay in an excellent location. - Unit 14 on the 6th floor had excellent views of the beach and ocean from the lounge, kitchen and balcony - there happened to be a gap in the trees directly opposite the unit. The main bedroom was spacious and there was plenty of room in the lounge and dining area. There was plenty of room on the balcony with a table for six and a separate balcony area with a table for two and a drying rack. Access to the beach was easy with steps to the beach almost opposite the building and a patrolled beach less than 100 m away. It was a short walk to coffee, shops and a playground.

Jan (8/5): We enjoyed our stay despite with the weather being somewhat inclement on 2 days of our stay. - The location was fine, access to the beach was excellent & Indigo Blue was walking distance to every thing. Can't really fault anything other than a luggage trolley with a wobbly wheel.
Michelle (10/5): Great view to see the whales & water. - The view was amazing! They have such a great spot near the water. It was so good to sit on our balcony & see the whales playing in the ocean. Heaps of food, groceries, clubs within walking distance. Great walking track along the beach.

LexHill84 (10/5): Very relaxed and pleasant. Would stay again. - Lovely views and friendly staff on the desk. The apartment was clean, spacious and well-positioned. Lots of light streaming in in the morning. The dishwasher had been through but not unpacked when we got there but that was a very minor oversight .. certainly not a deal breaker for some truly lovely accommodation.

Jill (7/5): Great stay, perfect for our visit to Burleigh Heads - Location was fantastic! There were wonderful ocean views from the deck and living area. Living area and deck were really comfy and nice to hang around in. The bed in 2 of the rooms were a little uncomfortable, and power point options in the bedrooms were hard to find. The place was tired though comfortable.
Alex (1/5): Unprofessional manager's behaviour ruined our stay by multiple harassments - Location The property itself was comfortable and well-located—exactly what you’d hope for on the Gold Coast. Clean, well-equipped, and close to everything. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the behaviour of the manager. From the start, the manager was not only unwelcoming, but he made snide comments about our arrival time and seemed irritated by our presence. “Why are you here so early to check in? -I went there at 12:30 to check maybe we can drop our luggage until check in time- It was clear in the email we have the keys ready from 13:30”. He also displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. When, I did have a genuine question, the responses came across as impatient or even rude. The entire property is governed by rules and policies which beats any military base standards. For example: we have been dropped off at the visitor’s carpark which took about 2-3 minutes tops. The manager was onto us straightaway and told us not do this ever again. On another instance, we came back to from our sport event, and we could hardly walk after being on our feet for more than 35 hours and for over 96km through the Gold Coast hinterland. To help us, our friend dropped us in the garage to off load our gear and transfer it to a luggage trolley. Then, he drove out from the carpark. As soon as we got upstairs and off loaded the trolleys, I have received an annoying text message from the manager stating, “return the trolleys immediately and move the other car from the garage or it will be towed away”. By this time one of the trolleys has been returned and my friend left the garage a while ago. I cannot imagine what would have happened if we stay there any longer. I would not recommend this Airbnb to anyone. The combination of rude management and harassment made for a distressing experience that overshadowed any positive aspects of the accommodation itself.
