SHAKILA (9/5): Value for Money Retreat in Ubud - Amazing setting among the paddy fields and the staff were accommodating and very helpful. Also added bonus of free morning yoga and paid activities. Also really value for money for the space and service you get. Quite out of the way as it takes a 20 min car ride to main streets in Ubud. The breakfast was also very basic although the egg station staff were lovely. The penthouse where we stayed had lots of ants in the dining area and the dining area had no fan or ventilation. We were lucky it was quite cool when we were there.

The problem is that the hotel is in a village. So there are alot of insects around that enter your room all the time.

Robert (10/5): Nice retreat and relaxation - I enjoyed the yoga sessions in the morning, staff were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good but wish they had more meat options. Pool was nice to cool down on a hot day and relax. Spa was one of the highlights of this property. Massage was amazing and was a much needed relief.

Pons (6/5): Basic stay - We truly liked the garden of the hotel and the views to the rice fields. 10mins free foot massage is also a bonus welcome treat. We didn't like the food at the restaurant . We had dinner with some choices being rather unfortunate. One of the desserts was completely frozen. Moreover, the breakfast was basic. If you need milk in your coffee you get charged extra that is the first time I see this in a package of "breakfast included". There is nothing to do in walking distance at night.

Sylia (2/5): Don’t recommend - We went there for a retreat which means to rest, we couldn’t sleep well a single day. The room window gives to a corridor shared with all others rooms( we can’t call this a balcony), so every morning kinds were running and making noise, we had to change the room but we didn’t have WiFi in the second room . The rooms wasn’t clean well, a lot of dust , they come to clean they don’t change your bed sheets or the towels, even thought I putted all towels on the floor, they took them back to the bathroom. I took a breakfast included, we went to the breakfast once’s and it was the last time in 4 days because it was not eatable. This hotel was a disappointment for us especially it was our honeymoon, we couldn’t wait to leave this hotel, and we will never forget back again .

I would need to be a millionaire to stay somewhere like this back in Ireland. it was amazing value. Stunning Gardens stunning pool stunning staff. I didn’t get the chance to practice Yoga, but I had many massages. Juliantara is a genius. I came away feeling half my age! The food was delicious. There are so many free extras, I would know where to begin. Also. The place was spotless. And I didn’t get one mosquito bite!

Suna (7/5): - Wir haben die lange Motorradtour nach Ubud täglich sehr genossen. Die Anlage ist Umgeben von Reisfeldern was sehr schön. Das tägliche Yogaangebot ist wunderbar. Der Lehrer ist sehr toll! Die Zimmer sind wirklich in die Jahre und gerade Badezimmer nicht preisentsprechend. An mehreren Orten im Hotel wiesen Schilder auf Ruhe hin und auch am Pool durften keine Geräusche gemacht werden. Dann sollte man überlegen das Hotel als adults only auszuzeichnen, denn mit Kind fühlt man sich da nicht wirklick willkommen. Frühstück war ok. Schwer zu erkennen was angeboten wurden, selten Schilder, oft nur noch wenig vorhanden auch wenn man früh dort war.

Jani (4/5): Not a good location. - Staff were lovely. Appearance of the Resort was peaceful and nice overlooking paddy field. Location was too far away from Ubud and other amenities. We left a day early. Outside areas were small. Pool was not clean. Food was not consistent. OK sometimes & then not OK. Our room had a balcony, but it was the verandah/ walkway to other rooms, so not private.

Zuzana (9/5): Place, where you want to come back - This place has a very welcoming atmosphere and lovely, attentive to details staff. The energy is very uplifting and creates a beautiful experience being there. Even though the property isn’t knew, but the whole aura there makes you feel like home. Therefore, you can easily assess daily yoga classes (for free or paid), spa or massage treatments, visit the ashram or stay by the pool or at the cafe. Thank you so much! The refill water bottle at reception is very bad. Stick to bought water from shop. My bottle smelt very bad after filling up with their refill situation. I got quite sick too.

Ilona (10/5): - Amazing Resort:) I booked it because the price was good, but I didn't expect that it will be so beautiful and peaceful 😊 Everything was perfect for me- beautiful and clean space, delicious breakfast with view of the rice fields ,very helpful staff and beautiful yoga shala. I felt like at home and I didn't want to leave. It is not close to the town centre, but they offer a transfer.

Lisa (10/5): Great vibe - Everything about this place was wonderful. We arrived late at night and were welcomed by incredibly kind staff who made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The complimentary yoga classes are great and give you a taste of the early morning paid classes which are absolutely worth it. Such a wonderful way to start the day. We also loved the complimentary 30-minute activities offered most days, often cultural ones. The pool area is relaxed, the surroundings are beautiful, and the overall vibe is very special. Caroline (10/5): Second wonderful wellness retreat at this resort - This is my second 5-day retreat at Om Ham. The major items of this retreat included: 3 scrub + massages, 3 sound healing sessions (one at Ubud Aura, one at Pyramid of Chi, one at Om Ham itself as Sacred Chant Meditation), 1 temple meditation, 4 yoga classes, 1 mindful gardening with herbal tea making lesson, daily deep sleep tea, daily gentle stretch massage, a healthy detox menu and the room. Lots of my friends and colleagues are already saying that I seem happier after this trip! 10 Reasons why I chose to come back to Om Ham include: 1. Just the right combo of the nature and modern facilities - rice field view right opposite. I don’t want to stay in a typical hotel. 2. The facilities are just right within the resort, e.g. the spa room is just steps away from the reception, the yoga / meditation room is just right above our rooms. 3. An amazingly high degree of flexibility in rescheduling as per my activity preference and time preference, e.g. I prefer sound healing to yoga, and they had let me swap with no cost, I can book a massage just within a few hours, I can cut short or order the locations within my day tour booked with them. 4. The staff - always helpful, welcoming, smiling, speaking really good English (rare in Bali). 5. Wonderfully fresh food from their own farm opposite the road. The raw avocado cheesecake is one of the reasons why I came back! 6. Great location - 20 mins’ drive from Ubud city centre. 7. Free 11am send-off / 4:30pm pickup Ubud city centre shuttle included, as long as you book 1 day before. The airport drop-off driver (same guy I had in 2024) that they arranged externally speaks very good English and is really helpful, and has a nice car. 8. The fact that they do various reasonably priced tours to various locations, e.g. coffee plantation. 9. Reasonably priced. The rooms have good hygiene (not always the case in Bali), good air con. 10. The fact that I had to leave!

Ksenia (4/5): Не советуем заезжать - Расположение , природа, персонал Все очень старое, в номерах пахнет неприятно . Указано что номер 30 квадратов, а по факту он в два раза меньше. Вода в ванной не уходила, забиты трубы. Все требует ремонта . В бассейне не искупались ни разу -не рискнули . На завтраке вам не дадут к кофе молоко - предложат сухое молоко из пакетика) еда в кафе при отеле просто ужасная, заказали,но не съели. на Бали уже в четвертый раз , были в более 30 отелях -этот, самый плохой . Мечтали поскорее уехать из него . Оплатили 4 ночи при заезде , поэтому пришлось жить .
Wendy (5/5): redelijk, mooie pand maar geen prettige kamers. - het ws een mooi pand, personeel deed echt haar best om er iets van te maken. Ruime kamers met voldoende faciliteiten. Ontbijt was prima geregeld, een prachtig uitzicht. in meerdere kamer welke wij geboekt hadden hing 'n enorme schimmel lucht, afkomstig van de airco. Het koste enorm veel moeite om een oplossing te vinden. Daarnaast, ben er bewust van dat het een enorme yoga locatie is met behoorlijk wat overlast.

Irmgard (10/5): - Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist für Ruhe suchende perfekt. Es gibt 2xtäglich einen Shuttle nach Ubud Zentrum. Am Nachmittag gibt es Tee, Kaffee und Gepäck. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer roch muffig und die Reinigung könnte besser sein.

Bu (9/5): A peaceful retreat which soothes and heals - It is peaceful and quiet . A retreat for those of us who need it . I loved how the staff did not mind turning down the music in the restaurant so we could enjoy the sounds of water and nature . Spa treatments fabulous . There were people smoking right by the pool and I was told by staff that this was allowed as long as it was in a corner ? I found this odd as it is a health retreat and I don’t see why nonsmokers have to put with up with cancer fumes . Is it possible to put no smoking signs at pool Area ? I know it says in room information that smoking is only on rooftop and garden gazebo but clearly even the staff are not sure about this .

Katharina (9/5): Ich würde wiederkommen - Sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage mit Blick ins Grüne. Super nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. 24-Std Rezeption einfach top. Massagen (ich hatte zwei Anwendungen) waren sehr hochwertig, auch wenn ich da schon bessere auf Bali hatte, würde ich sie wieder buchen. Das Restaurant bietet ein breites Angebot, ist aber natürlich ein bisschen teuerer als außerhalb. Der Nachmittagstee hat mir sehr gefallen. Auch das Frühstück war toll! Insgesamt kann man sich sehr wohlfühlen. Insgesamt ist das Hotel nicht ganz so schick und modern, wie es auf den Bildern aussieht. Aber trotzdem ist es sehr schön. Im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gibt es dennoch von mir Abstriche, denn es gibt schon deutlich günstigere Alternativen mit demselben Angebot auf Bali. Die Liegen am Pool sind nicht mehr ansehnlich - sowohl die Polster als auch die Liegen könnten gut mal ausgetauscht werden. Es hat mich persönlich in einem „Retreat“ Hotel schon sehr gestört, dass viele Gäste beim Essen laut telefonieren oder Videos schauen. Aus meiner Sicht sollte man für Ruhe für alle Gäste sorgen.

Sandya (8/5): Uplift your Zen - Operations manager Yulia was v helpful to accommodate request to offer us a lower level room as we didn’t want to climb 3 levels. We enjoyed the free massage and morning yoga classes. Enjoyed the variety of offerings at the breakfast . The bathroom didn’t have anywhere to keep toiletries and clothes and lighting was poor for shaving. It looked v dated and tired. Suggestion to offer herbal tea in the rooms as wellness is promoted in this retreat. Quite far from Ubud centre to walk.

Bit a hassle to be 15min away from downtown. They provide shuttle bus 11am and 3:30pm and a Grab will be 70K. Restaurant can be slow..try Labak sari 5 min walk.
