It was close to town, with a complimentary tricycle service whenever needed, and only a 30peso (less than $1AUD) pp return trip, with tricycles everywhere so very easy to find our way back. The facilities were great, our room was clean and beds were comfortable. The kids loved the pool, and the food in the restaurant was delicious - highly recommend the Fish Sisig and the Mango Cinnamon dessert. Can’t speak highly enough of this hotel, recommend +++

Our flight was early and the restaurant staff prepared takeout breakfast sandwiches for us. My only negative comment is the Resort’s incorrect phone information that appears in Expedia Canada website. I had trouble contacting the Resort because of.the phone mixup. Perhaps it was Expedia Canada’s fault but I reported the phone number issue with the resort and suggested that they ask Expedia to make correction on the phone listing. Aside from this small communication mixup, our stay with Sunz En Coron was great! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their place to someone looking for a place to stay in Coron.

Das einzige das mir gefehlt hat war ein Regal im Zimmer wo man seine Sachen hinein schlichten kann. Ist aber teilweise verständlich da 95 Prozent der Gäste höchstens zwei bis drei Tage bleiben.

Clean and well maintained hotel with beautiful landscaping and a few bamboo bungalows near the pool surrounded by hotel rooms. Nice to have a restaurant offering complimentary breakfast up front and complimentary Tuk Tuk rides into town.
• kevins684 (10/5): A very good small hotel, - A very good small hotel, 15 rooms around three sides of a decently sized clean swimming pool. Our room had a double and single bed, some hanging space and room for luggage. Good WiFi, a/c, fridge, safe, spotlessly clean all rooms overlook the pool with strangely one chair not two outside each room. The staff were always efficient and friendly, a real credit to the hotel. A free shuttle the 2km into the town centre is available all day on demand. Not the return journey, tuk tuk return should be 35-50 pesos per person dependant on the driver and your bartering skills. Even 100 is a cheap journey. A lovely convenient service. Breakfast was a very good with juice, coffee or tea, fruit and a selection of at least 8 choices, pancakes, eggs with bacon or ham with toast, Asian varieties etc all freshly prepared. Snacks or larger meals and drinks are available all day. Snacks were tasty and reasonably priced as was dinner on one evening. 100 pesos for 33 cl beer.

Great little hotel away from the main town, a short 15-20min walk into town, with lovely places to eat along the way and great views too. If you don't fancy the walk, the hotel have complimentary taxi to town, but still very cheap if you needed to pay for one when using out of hours. I felt safe walking to town on my own as a female. Nice pool area, very quiet, clean rooms. Would stay again, great price too. Thank you to all the staff, doing an excellent job!

Peaceful and quiet as it is not on the main road. Great breakfast and lunch with good size portions. Stayed 4 nights initially and extended the stay 4 nights more. Will definitely stay again when visiting Coron in the future.

Filipino hospitality are best. Good selection of breakfast and good selection of snacks. You can pay as well using cash or credit card.. Shout out to these staff alvin, king, aaron , joseph,conney, jason and ace. Again thank you for providing us a wonderful stay.

Both times have been an enjoyable stay which deserves more than a 5star rating! As a person who worked at customer service for more than 10years, theirs' is simply superb! My family have been gushing on our stay and experience that added to their fun and enjoyment of Palawan! Thank you Sunz en Coron for enhancing a truly memorable vacation for my family! • Tourist11373503772 (10/5): Indeed, a nice stay! - Very nice ambience & well-sanitized place. We're greeted with warm welcome and we're given fresh mango juice/shake. All staffs were pleasant & very accommodating. An order of food was good for sharing and delicious. Will book again next time.
• Biffro (8/5): Very good hotel with fantastic staff - We stayed in Sunz en Coran for 5 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful and it was nice as they kindly gave us an upgrade upon arrival. There is a hotel tricycle that takes you in to town for free which was a really great benefit. The walk to town is around 10-15 minutes, and no other hotel we found provided this service. The room was fairly basic but clean, and the linen and towels provided were clean. The staff also gave us pool towels to take on our day trips out. There was also an area outside the room to hang wet bathing suits which was helpful. It was really nice to have a kettle and fridge in the room as well as a safe and a TV. We also had a fan and an air conditioning unit. The only things we struggled with were the toilet under the shower - we had to make sure that the toilet paper and waste bin were removed before showering and whilst there was a table and a metal bar with some hangers, it would have been great to have had some drawers or a wardrobe to store our clothing as we were there for 5 days and our clothes were piled on the table. The accommodation was good value for money and included breakfast. There is a nice pool with loungers and umbrellas and some nice bamboo seating areas with shade which we saw other people using. We liked the fact that this accommodation was really quiet as there are only a few rooms. We had lunch here once, and the food was good and quite reasonably priced. You could also order drinks such as beer/ wine and soft drinks. I had an issue with my suitcase wheel which got damaged at the airport, and JoJo who worked in the hotel helped to fix it for me which was much appreciated and really kind of him. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were a big contributory factor in making our stay enjoyable. A lovely little place and we would recommend.
• KatSueN801 (8/5): Excellent value hotel in Coron Town - Sunz En Coron Resort exceeded our expectations. We stayed for 3 nights & were impressed by the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff. Although the rooms are small and the bathroom basic it was very clean & shampoo & soap are provided. Food service was a little slow so make sure you go to breakfast early if you are taking a boat trip - these can be booked at the hotel reception. The swimming pool was clean & the shaded cabanas are a nice touch in the lovely garden area. Free Trike service into the centre - just a little too far to walk in the heat. Overall, excellent value in Coron Town.
• 647jemarc (10/5): Highly recommended👌 - We booked a family room in this hotel for 3 nights and the experience was nothing short of brilliant. The property looks way better in actual as compared to the pictures. It has a laid-back atmosphere partly because it only has around 20 rooms in total. This gives the feeling of exclusivity compared to voluminius hotel where there is crowd everywhere. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and even had the initiative to offer beach towels in case we had excursions for that day. We found this gesture very thoughtful and truly made our stay extra special. The resort is not the fanciest around but it has the basic amenities to keep you entertained. This does not include their slow wifi though hehe. The swimming pool is also much bigger than it looks on pictures. The rooms have a classic probinsya style design which is decent. The aircon also works well with a ceiling fan to complement it. Hot and cold shower was also a hit. The food at the restaurant was great especially the spicy korean noodles with egg. The only minor disadvantage of this hotel is its location. It's a 10-minute tricycle ride to the town proper. This was not a problem for us especially that they provided a one way free ride to the town. Highly recommended👌
• manonpoupette (2/5): CORONA VIRUS SITUATION - We were supposed to spend 3days in this hotel. Unfortunately, a month before our stay, the Philippines closed their borders because of the coronavirus. We were unable to go to the Philippines and therefore to this hotel. We immediately contacted the hotel to explain the situation and to request a refund/voucher. The manager asked us for proof of cancellation of our flights,which we provided. Since that day,we have had no news from them. I tried to contact them several times by email as well as by phone but I didn't get a response The cancellation or rebooking should and MUST apply when things as exceptional as a pandemic happen. It is NOT OUR FAULT that we were unable to stay at your hotel. I understand that you can't refund all your customers but you can AT LEAST give us a voucher (like others hotels have !) You haven't been understanding with your customers and that is why I DON'T recommend you I will not be staying at your hotel next year when i go on my honeymoon to Coron !
• AshleyMcAllister (10/5): Extraordinary visit in Coron - We had a family gathering in Coron since our various family members are beginning there. We booked in Sunz En Coron Resort for a medium-term and for us to utilize their brilliant room. We had an astonishing time most magnificently that we could bond with our family members that we a huge piece of the time see, just once dependably when we visit Philippines. The rooms that we had were wide, can suit as all and has the things that we required amidst our remain. Persuading and clean. A devotion of gratefulness is all together to make our stay essential.
• shrduh (2/5): Very terrible experience - Do not book in this hotel. I am sharing what happened to me in my 3d&2n stay in Sunz en Coron. On the first day when we checked-in, the process was smooth and we were even given welcome drinks. The guard and staff were polite. On my second day, while having breakfast, the waiter of their restaurant accidentally poured this whole cup of super super hot coffee on me. It was very painful! Imagine being poured with very hot water! I was shocked with what happened then cried because I was starting to feel the pain of the hot coffee that got poured on my right arm, right side of stomach, and right thigh. We just asked for ice and they gave us aloe vera lotion to soothe the pain. I think they did not inform the management of what happened since I didn't hear anything from them. We also weren't able to report it anymore since we will be leaving for our island hopping tour any minute after our breakfast. I didn't want that experience to ruin my tour. I just expected that they will offer any compensation with what happened after that and I think it should be the job of the offender to report what he did. On the third day, when we were about to leave the hotel and hop on the airport transfer that we asked for the reception staff to arrange for us the night before, we were told that they can only accommodate 1 more person in the van. But there are two of us. We requested it at the reception the night before and ensured that we will be picked-up the next day. We didn't expect that only 1 of us will be accommodated. So the solution of the hotel and the airport transfer driver was to squeeze the two of us in one seat which was very very unfair just because I am small. It was their fault, why do we need to be the one to adjust because of their shortcomings? Other things that we didn't like are no mobile signal, slow and sometimes unavailable wifi signal, and it was hard to catch a ride that will bring you to the town if their trike is not available. I am really disappointed with what happened to me in this hotel, it was because of them that I didn't fully enjoy my stay in Coron. Sadly it was my first time there.

When we arrived and entered the room, a strong foul odor welcomed us 😷 the smell of the whole room is like a bathroom 🤮 we could not stand it, we decided to transfer to another hotel but they won’t refund us. Not even half of what we paid..

• SLW (10/5): Best Place to Stay in Coron - This is one of the nicest places to stay in Coron. Not only is the resort clean, but the staff is so friendly and attentive. Many told us to find a place near the downtown area, but we're so glad we found this resort instead. It's far enough to relax but near enough (5 min.) to enjoy the downtown area with the free service tricycle to town. And the cabanas are the best places to relax and enjoy a book! Special thanks to the staff who went out of the way to attend to my needs when I got sick. Highly recommended!
• JING (10/5): 值得推荐 - 地理位置离镇上有点远，但是非常方便，因为宾馆配有免费突突车送去镇上，基本随叫随到。回宾馆只用出回来的突突车费用。反而比住在镇上的宾馆在路上耽误的时间少。宾馆的硬件不是最新的，但是不影响使用。服务人员非常热情。唯一不好的是宾馆关上房间门就完全没有wifi信号，必须在门口上网

• Dana (10/5): Traumurlaub in Coron - Wir waren für 3 Tage im Sunz en Coron und wir sind begeistert. Das Service war einfach mega klasse und total zuvorkommend. Der Außenbereich ist ein Traum und zum relaxen sehr gut geeignet. Es war sehr ruhig da das Hotel ein wenig außerhalb von Coron Town liegt was den Vorteil hat das man auch mal die Ruhe genießen kann. Auch das Frühstück war einmalig mit allem drum und dran...wir werden definitiv zurück kommen :)

• ynet (10/5): Lovely Staff and great atmosphere - We had an amazing stay in Sunz. The staff were always greeting us and always ready to help if in need. They are always accomodating. They were very helpful in finding us the tours. So glad none of our time were wasted in Coron as we had our days filled with tours! We stayed in the room just right in front of the pool where we can just dive in any time. The only downfall is their pricey food. But its ok, because they have a free tricycle service that took us to Coron town restaurants for a dinner every night. Another favorite of mine is their cavana/nipa hut. It is nicely decorated with throw pillows where you can just sit and drink your cocktails. Just a tip, order your drinks in advance as they take time in making them. All in all, awesome accomodation! Im glad I stayed in Sunz en Coron!
• Kevin (8/5): Suns en - Stayed here for 1 night. It's a beautiful place very nice grounds and awesome pool for relaxing. Breakfast was very good also. We upgraded to a deluxe room for a extra charge, was expecting a bit more out of the room tough after spending about $85 CAD. Also a bit out of town definitely need to get around with a tri-cycle.
• Spandan (10/5): Nice little cosy hotel - Sunz en coron has given me the best hotel experience in all the places i stayed...nice atmosphere...beautifully done....real warm and friendly staff....its not a five star...do not expect five star facilities....but its a real warm and friendly hotel....with good clean rooms.....the hotel staff apologised for slow internet....but u dont go to coron to work....overall a thumbs up for the resort.....really liked and my wife and daughter really enjoyed the stay......all the best Sunz en coron
