The rooms are large, spacious and clean, with a wonderful view of the bay. Even though it was a little chilly, we enjoyed the pools the jacuzzi and the amazing breakfast.

- Katie (10/5): - The room was exactly as advertised. They had an airport shuttle to and from the hotel. Walking distance to their sister hotel for beach loungers. Super easy walk to the bus stop to go into town. Staff was so nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a nice spread and the room service was also good.
- Dina (4/5): - The room originally assigned smelled so bad that my nostrils stung. When asked to switch room they stated they had nothing available. We refused to stay in the assigned room and their response was they couldn’t do anything. We said we would try and get a room at another hotel and would like our money back and all of a sudden a room became available. I felt totally deceived. I had stayed at The George Hotel three years ago and recommended it to all my friends and family at the time. I will no longer be recommending this hotel.

- E2114PXcarolinep (8/5): Stunning hotel in a beautiful location - Couple of minutes walk to Platis Gialos beach. Rooms were beautiful especially nice having sun loungers on the balcony. Immaculately clean. Staff were fantastic. Especially Alex, Giannis and Cristina. Only gripe I had was the music was extremely loud and did not suit the establishment. Music was more suited to a nightclub.
- U3523MGclared (8/5): Perfect location - We were very happy with this hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room and view were just as described. The breakfast was fresh with a good selection. We visited towards the end of the season and felt the loungers were a little tired. The transfer from the airport was seamless.The location was great for the beach, bars and restaurants. I think other residents need to be aware that every time they scrape their furniture on the floor a neighbouring room can hear the noise. Nothing to do with the hotel just others being thoughtless. I would return and I recommend this hotel whole heartily.

- unaognjenovic (10/5): Sister Hotel - Lovely hotel! We are staying at Acrogiali and are allowed to use the pool at the George. The staff are lovely and experienced at what they do! The reception staff are very nice and tell you the direction of the pool. We cannot comment on the rooms however, if they are the same at Acrogiali then this hotel is 5**.

- 848alisonm (10/5): Wonderful Mykonos Hotel - We had an absolutely wonderful week at this beautiful Mykonos hotel. All staff very friendly and absolutely stunning pools, jacuzzi and bar area. Beautiful sea views. We will definitely be back and can totally recommend The George Hotel, Mykonos. Free pick up and drop off too to airport or port which is really good for us too. Platis Yialos is also a beautiful little resort in easy reach by bus to Mykonos Town.

- MattandStev (8/5): Great view of the ocean - A great place to stay if visiting Mykonos – very clean facilities, large spacious rooms, and multiple outdoor pools that are beautifully maintained, with a fully serviced bar area. One quirk that stood out was that every time you ordered a drink, you had to pay immediately – no option to charge it to your room, which felt a little unusual for a resort of this standard. Another minor inconvenience was the towel system: to get a pool towel, you had to go down three flights of stairs to reception, exchange a card, and then make your way back up to the pool area. It worked, but it felt unnecessarily complicated compared to other hotels where towels are provided by the pool itself. The staff were excellent – always attentive, helpful, and quick to respond, especially the reception team who went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Breakfast, while perfectly adequate, could be improved. There was the usual spread of pastries, breads, and some hot dishes, but the variety didn’t change much from day to day, and items like fruit or fresh juices felt limited compared to what you’d expect at a resort of this size. A few more options or fresher ingredients would have lifted the experience. The location is perfect, with free access to the sister hotel’s beach club just across the road – one of the most beautiful beaches in Mykonos. Overall, despite the small quirks, I would have no hesitation staying here again.

- Khaled (10/5): - The hotel was very nice. The room was spacious and clean. There's a coffee machine in the room with very enough capsules for use, with decaffeinated options which was very nice. The breakfast at the hotel was a 5 star level. Plenty of options and all delicious food. There is a waffles machine and a panckae one. Breakfast has very delicious Greek pastry options, savory and sweet. There was options even for the milk like almond, coconut, oat, etc. Overall the experience was excellent and the staff at the hotel is amazing and always smiling and helpful. I would definitely recommend it and stay again on my next visit.
- Coops27 (8/5): Good value, great location and staff - All in all, good value for money, based on Mykonos price points. Room I stayed here with two friends sharing a triple room. The views from the room (and all rooms) were breathtaking. The room itself was large enough but there was a distinct lack of basic storage for three people. Even for two of us we would have struggled, so the room was always pretty chaotic and messy and we had to move a chair and coffee table out onto the balcony to make more space. But the room was cleaned well daily and the balcony was very spacious. Staff All brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Loved all of them. Work very hard and seem to enjoy their jobs. Pool Always lots of sunbeds available no matter what time of day and all get plenty of sun. Two clean pools with great views of the sea. Some areas peaceful and some more lively so you can pick what you prefer. Sunbed service was good. Sunbeds could do with being cleaned more often. Would often find a fair few of them with bird poo on in the morning or a layer of dust. But not a huge problem as there were enough available to find a cleaner one. Location Great location, less than five minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. About four or five restaurants along the beach. We loved Yialo Yialo, would highly recommend. A 10min taxi to Mykonos town, very quick. Costs 35 EUR but worth it because the roads around Mykonos are incredibly narrow with no pedestrian path and cars speed around them. It is also 15mins to the airport (contact the hotel before you arrive with flight details, they pick you up for free). Sister Hotel on the beach Great that you get a free sunbed. But you'll need to get down there probably before 10am to get a bed and people put their towels down to reserve early. Breakfast Breakfast was fine. There was enough variety but I wouldn't say it was anything special, we were surprised by how mediocre it was because the trip advisor reviews raved about breakfast. However, the lattes you order from the bar were delicious and a part of B &B so you didn't have to pay. Loved those.

- KDWaterford (10/5): Very clean, convenient, welcoming - Beautiful hotel. All rooms had a sea view. We had a ground floor room, so literally walked out of our room into the pool. Spotless facilities. Good location for the beach, and a bus stop outside for access to Mykonos town. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room also had access to free loungers on the beach which was great.
- Flyer66802377007 (10/5): - I genuinely don't think we could fault the hotel in anyway. We arrived late at night for a week's stay. There was someone there to greet us and take our bags up the stairs. We were checked in quickly and shown to our room, not lifting a finger on the way. We'd emailed prior asking for a specific room and what we got was even better. We stayed in 218 which was a pool level room with a somewhat private little terrace. The room was huge! It was clean and modern, had great facilities such as a fridge, safe, air con. The bed was so so comfy, we accidentally slept in most mornings. Luckily, breakfast was 8am - 11am, giving you plenty of time for a lie in. There is a nice selection of food, both warm and cold, always being topped up. Even though we had sun beds on our terrace, we never struggled to get a bed around the pool either. They even offer an ordering service for food and drinks straight to your room or sun bed! The two pools were lovely, the smaller one being slightly warmer and deeper. Every member of staff we encounter was friendly, chatty and professional, always on the look out to see if you needed anything, asking how you were etc. The pool bar food and drinks menu was extensive and was reasonably priced with huge portions and everything we ate was amazing. There's a fair few stairs around the hotel but there are lifts and staff are always around to help with bags. A short walk down the road is a great little shop and then less than 5 minutes is the beach with all the restaurants. We took advantage of the free sun beds at the sister hotel Acrogiali. We went early morning and had a choice of plenty but we've passed mid afternoon and it's pretty full. Likewise, the staff at Acrogiali are of the same vane - friendly, fast service and lovely people. The bus to the main town is about 5/10 minute walk too - you can either walk down a small alley which is a pretty flat walk or you can walk down the beach boardwalk too. They were always on time, so cheap and run right into the early hours of the morning if you're having a late one in the town. All in all, we're currently looking to see when we can come back. It's absolutely perfect and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
- Y1629PFsalmas (10/5): The perfect Mykonos spot - The perfect hotel to stay in if you’re visiting Mykonos-very clean facilities, large spacious rooms, multiple outdoor pools that are very well kept with a great fully serviced bar area. All the hotel staff are very helpful and always responsive to our needs especially the reception staff we dealt with Christina/Dimitra and Aphrodite and the doormen/bar staff Alex. It’s location is perfect with free beach access at the sister hotel across the road at one of the nicest beaches in Mykonos. It’s also very close to the bus station to get you to Mykonos town and save you lots of $ on Mykonos transport. Would 100% stay here again

- gullygroup5 (8/5): Lovely Property, Great Location – But Service Could Use a Refresh - The George Hotel in Mykonos is a beautiful property in an ideal location, offering spacious rooms with large balconies and a stunning pool area complete with comfortable lounge chairs—perfect for relaxing under the sun. We loved having access to the beach via their sister hotel, Acrogiali Beach, located right on Platis Gialos. It was a major plus to be so close to the bus stop for easy access to Mykonos Town and the scenic Coastal Path that leads past all the iconic beach clubs like Paradise and Scorpios. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and had a wide range of options, but surprisingly, none of the food was labeled, which made things a bit frustrating, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions or food allergies. Now, for the downside: the service. Compared to the warm hospitality we experienced throughout the rest of Greece, the staff here felt noticeably disengaged. We weren't greeted by front desk staff as we came and went, and at times it felt like asking a simple question was an inconvenience. Housekeeping was the exception—they were consistently polite and friendly. We also found the poolside service lacking. While the food menu had plenty of appealing options (and what we ordered was genuinely delicious), the pool waitress introduced herself, handed us menus, and then vanished for nearly five hours. We had to flag her down just to place an order. Despite the lackluster service, I would still recommend The George Hotel for its lovely rooms, beautiful pool, great food, and unbeatable location. However, with even a small investment in staff training and attentiveness, this hotel could easily go from good to exceptional.

Pools are great and even better is that their sister hotel is on the beach and you have access to the loungers, just get there before 8 if you want a good spot. Breakfast was amazing, very fresh and good selection. Bar made great drinks as well. Lots of parking if you rent an ATV, the hotel can arrange the rental as well. The big bonus is they transfer to and from the airport and port…..Mykonos is crazy expensive for rides.

- kendraa277 (10/5): Wonderful Hotel - We have had an absolutely wonderful two weeks stay in the George Hotel, currently sat in the beautiful, calm reception area waiting to return home, very sad to be leaving. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were taken to our room (205). We were blessed with a large room with a big balcony (fantastic view too). The room was kept spotless by the cleaner each day. There were plenty of drawers and wardrobe space, a safe, a fridge with small freezer and hair dryer. The coffee machine had pods replaced as they were used. We kept milk in the fridge for the coffee. The two pools were clean and very well maintained. There is a hot tub with great views. If you prefer the beach you can take the very short walk down to the sister hotel (Acrogiali) and use their facilities on the beach. The breakfast was good, lots of pastries, breads, cereals, cooked breakfast, cold selection, coffee machine, fresh orange machine, pancake maker and waffle maker. A great deal of choice. You can eat inside or have the view outside. The staff, what can we say, all so friendly, welcoming and so hard working to ensure everyone has a great stay. Thank you. We enjoyed walking down to the front each night to try all the different restaurants, great choices. The bus is a short ride to Mykonos town (€2 each way, very cheap). Can recommend the sunsets there. From the bus station you can get the bus to other villages/beaches. There is a good map you can take in Reception that shows you the island and where you can get buses to.

- janethY7450NE (10/5): Super paradise - Booked a last minute package via EJ 28/9/24 -5/10/24 B&B @ a great price ( so last minute can be cheaper!! ) guess as it was nearing end of season A cab from JMK Airport 10min drive costs us about €30 ( we forgot that hotel provide this service for free) 🫣 if you call them! On arrival was surprised how many steps ( it’s elevated into a cliff) Thankfully a lovely smiley Porter was waiting @ bottom for us when we arrived & carried them up to reception our cases went from there into lift to first floor & he then carried them up further steps by bar area to our room ( very fit) Room:- 122 This room was advertised as a side sea-view/lateral view with a balcony But it had a full on sea view as you had vistas of the whole bay & spiros island slightly to the left ( stunning) 🤩 this rooms balcony directly overlooked the smaller pool which couldn’t be seen from our balcony due to the inside restaurant roof below, view to the larger infinity pool to the right & directly opposite the jacuzzi ( “ very pleasant surprise” ) for what we paid! (AWSOME ) 😍 The room was very spacious, lovely big walk in shower with small private window & toiletries provided & regularly replenished The room was large enough to manoeuvre around without feeling cramped The bed was the biggest (super king or queen) we’ve ever slept in while abroad (which is lovely when it’s hot) 27c- 30c during our week there! incredibly firm & comfy with soft silky pillows ( slumber heaven😇) We never used the air con just slept with the balcony doors open with a lovely light breeze (Mykonos is a windy island but we only experienced this on 1 day of our stay!) That day we decided to go into Mykonos town (great idea) as the 2 cruise liners were unable to dock so it wasn’t as buzy 🙏 Small modern open style wardrobe inc iron board, hairdryer, modern digital safe, mini fridge also a dressing table with modern mirror above for us ladies! (Perfect) Ample lighting & sockets Balcony was semi private ( when laying on lounger if you placed your towels over balcony to obscure sunbathers below! ) I felt the loungers were rather too heavy & large for the balcony but you could still have room for the small table & manoeuvre around! Breakfast:- The breakfast hall was lovely tables inside & outside to include continental & hot foods including pancakes, waffles 🧇 etc ( yummy 😋) Ample choice a great varied selection that changed daily! It never felt overly buzy & so much to choose from, a highlight to the start of our day! Location:- At bottom of hotel turn left past acrogiali hotel there’s a small supermarket on your left, just after this a steep slope takes you down through a very pretty garden area with apartments that leads you into the sister hotels reception & restaurant over looking Gialos Pilatos beach where you can use free sun loungers with your card! We stayed on this beach for a couple of days, & then discovered a much nicer bay Psarou ( out of hotel turn right, past cafe on corner through alley straight ahead just a 10min short walk Much nicer more scenic quieter bay with a celebrity hotel (Nammos) tucked away in far corner & small village behind with designer shops The loungers on this beach cost €30 for two ( out of season) we believe they are €150 peak season Stunning bay & not overcrowded crystal clear waters with lot’s small fish! 🐠 🐟 (paradise) “Who needs long haul to the Caribbean?, “ Summary:- Highly recommend this stunningly modern, immaculately clean hotel with all of their lovely friendly hardworking smiley staff ( esp the young Sandy coloured haired choc aholic waitress @ breakfast ) always so chatty & pleasant to chat with every morning ( sorry forgot your name) We very rarely return to same hotel or area in Greek islands as we love to explore & have different experiences but this hotel tops our very long list of Greek 🇬🇷 hotels & islands that we’ve visited by far! we were also both blown away by Mykonos Town Highly highly recommend this wonderful boho Hotel & island experience Thank you all @ George for your warm hospitality & making Mykonos Magical for us! - Claire (8/5): Prime location 5 minutes from lovely beach - Spend 4 days at The George after much research on hotels. The George had it all including airport transfers and transfer to the port. Location was fantastic only 10 minutes from Myknosos on the bus which are actually air conditioned coaches and ran every half hour until late. The hotel is 5 mins from the beach and you can use the sun beds and umberllas for free at their sister hotel on the beach - you just take the beach towels that they provide with a towel card - otherwise you are looking at at least 40 euros for the day. Breakfast had everything you wanted including an orange juicer machine and great view. Beds were the most comfortable and we had and it seemed that all rooms overlooked the pool/sea. The resort is lovely with some great bars and restaurants on the beach and little town. We ended up at a Greek night that runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays which was great fun. All in all The George is great value for money in a great location and looks better in real life than the photos as you are elevated up high and the view is beach. Would definitely recommend 😊

Coffee machine in room, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Reception will give you a kettle if you ask at check in. Breakfast buffet is ok, as with European buffets hot food not hot. Fruits, cereals, breads, cakes and hot food selection. Coffee machine, hot water for tea. Freshly squeezed orange juice machine is lovely. Turn left out of hotel and there is a little shop, Further on there is an atm sign on the right take this alleyway and you are on the beach with all the restaurants. Anios/yialo yialo/Thea /ovali/ the sister hotel to the george so same menu as the george. The Thea and one opposite are the same kitchen. They do a Greek night on Sundays and Wednesdays, best to book a table. We found the Thea the best food, service and atmosphere. If you turn right out the hotel and go down so deli clous is on your right, on the bend is an alleyway, take this and at the end turn right the bus stop to Mykonos town is there, €2 each way, buses run every half hour. Timetable is in reception. We went to the windmills, the ports and the little lanes of shops. Mykonos is lovely, more expensive than we thought, 2 drinks, a main each, bottle water and 1 dessert approx 75 - 80 euro.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel met and, in fact, exceeded our expectations. The property is lovely with amazing views of the water. The pools are picturesque with an abundant supply of comfortable lounge chairs surrounding them. Our room was spacious and well appointed. And, to cap things off, each morning we were treated to an outstanding breakfast with lots of variety. Each hotel staff member we encountered during our three night stay was very helpful. The location of the property is ideal with the beach and an abundance of restaurants only a very short walk away. We would most certainly return to this hotel on any visit to Mykonos.

Close to the beaches plus you get access to the beach at adjacent hotel. Walking distance from several restaurants and easy walk to paradise beach. If you walk further down and head up to Scorpio Beach Club you can climb up the rock a bit and can see an amazing sunset. The breakfast ever morning was wonderful with an amazing selection of everything. Beds and room very comfortable. We had a balcony with ocean view. Pool were beautiful and a daily use of the hot tub was essential after a long day of adventure, staff was friendly and helpful if you ask questions. Overall it was Amazing and best of the hotels on my island hopping vacation.

- Bashar (8/5): - The only issue with this property is its distance from downtown, it is about 15 minutes by car, but because of the traffic and sometimes it is hard to find Uber drivers and when you find one it is about 40€ one way, so it is better to stay in the downtown area of Mykonos, so you save on the transportation.

- precone (10/5): Beautiful property with gorgeous pools and sister hotel featuring all the amenities you want at the beach - When researching hotel options in Mykonos for my family vacation, I had really hoped to stay on the beach. We were planning a trip for seven people consisting of myself and my wife, my three children ages 10, 13 and 15, and my two parents so it was important to have convenience. After doing much research, I learned that the George has a sister hotel on the beach with shared services. While I was concerned about not being on the beach and how that would impact my children, it turns out staying at the George was one of the highlights of our vacation. The property was out of a postcard, picturesque, well maintained, and absolutely gorgeous. The whitewash walls, the two-tier Infinity pool, and the amazing view was practically built for Instagram. The staff was all helpful and kind throughout. A few days before our trip, my father ended up with an injury and was in a wheelchair. Despite having a few challenges along the way, the entire staff bent over backwards to be as helpful as possible. While we originally wanted to be directly on the beach, it turned out that the elevated view offered a magnificent overlook of the beach town. While we were worried that the walk down to the beach would be a bit of a pain to deal with, the truth is from the front door to the beach and walk was barely 5 minutes. Even the couple of times we decided to go down there with my dad in a wheelchair, Costas The driver for the hotel swiftly brought us down to the beach free of charge. The front desk staff was helpful in arranging transfers, carrying luggage and other activities. Downtown was about 20 minutes drive during traffic and 10 minutes with no traffic. If you're looking to stay around all of the hustle and bustle of downtown, this may not be the ideal place for you, but if you're looking for a super chill, stunningly gorgeous, modern resort on a beautiful beach, this place is for you. Breakfast on the pool patio was delightful. The entire hotel was filled with a lovely combination of international families and beautiful people, just as you would expect to see on the party island of Mykonos. Whether you're traveling with friends, or family, I highly recommend the hotel.
- 406sheryls (10/5): Gorgeous property seemingly built for Instagram - For my 4-day trip to Mykonos, I traveled with my family of seven. It was myself with my three children ages 10, 13, and 15, and my parents. Initially, I was looking for a property directly on the beach. When I spoke with people at the Acrogiali they informed me that they had no availability, however they said I should speak with their sister hotel The George. At first I was hesitant because it was not directly on the beach which was what I really wanted for my kids, but once I realized there weren't many other options, I went ahead with the booking. I was concerned that we were going to be too far away from the beach despite the fact they said it was only a short walk. Once I arrived to the property I was so pleased to learn that the walk to the beach was not even 5 minutes. It was barely a 3-minute walk from the front door down to the beach. What turned out to be a lovely surprise was that by being elevated over the beach up on the hills, we had an exceptional view with stunning sunsets. We learned that guests at other hotels came to the George Beach for the two beautiful Infinity swimming pools which were highly sought after. They offered amazing views of the beach and a good portion of the island. The hotel staff was extraordinarily helpful and accommodating. My father who was in a wheelchair for the trip was tended to at every turn. No matter where we went, there was a member of the staff willing to help. Every morning there was a lovely breakfast buffet by the pool that was a terrific way to wake up with the family. The rooms were all spacious, modern and beautiful. Knowing that Mykonos is largely a party island, we wanted somewhere with some activity, but not too much over the top. This was a perfect combination. The beach promenade was filled with very nice Beach clubs and cafes, and the expected gorgeous people you would hope to see on Mykonos. Every morning we would wake up and see massive yachts parked on the water. This is clearly where the billionaires hang out. Everywhere you turned there are a lot of younger people, beautifully dressed and looking for a good time on Mykonos while they were also a good number of families from across the globe. From the moment we arrived and our driver Costas introduced himself, every member of the staff was extraordinarily gracious and kind. The hotel itself exceeded all expectations as a hillside resort. Everything was freshly painted bright white just like you would expect. The bar at the pool had a super cool and chill vibe and the bartenders were friendly with just the right balance of friendly, small talk and terrific service. The drive into town was about 20 minutes during traffic, and 10 minutes without traffic. If you're looking to be in the downtown party area, this may not be the perfect place for you. But if you're looking for somewhere that is easily accessible to the beach, an amazing view, and a luxurious series of swimming pools, you have to check this out. If you like taking pictures and selfies and posting on social media, you will fill your camera roll with picture after picture. It really is a stunning location.

The kids really enjoyed the pools and being able to use the beach and facilities at their sister property across the street was super convenient. There are eateries in the walking distance as well as a small market. Overall we really liked it here and my kids can’t wait to return!

We would never stay anywhere again when we visit the island, this hotel is amazing there is literally nothing negative I can say about it. The rooms are beautiful and clean and are cleaned daily to a high standard, we loved the fact there is a warm pool and cold pool 🏊 to choose from and the terrace/ pool area is very clean and welcoming with lots of sun beds with call buttons on. The bar area is open from 11-12 serving drinks and a good food menu so great if you don’t want to venture out in the evening. You also get to use the sun loungers on platis gialos beach (2 min away) for free!! Breakfast was served from 8 -11 and there was more than enough to choose from and all great quality. My highlight was the fresh orange juice machine 🤪 All the staff were so friendly we really cannot recommend this place enough

We spent the whole day in the beach club, which is owned by the sister hotel and showered and changed before being dropped to airport at night zBoth hotels are beautiful and this is the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The view from the room is breathtaking. Luxury shopping a mile away is a definite plus. Lord of steps to the room, but that adds to the charm of this hotel.

We got engaged here and they have a sister hotel below on the beach the acrogiali we have stayed both and love them. The hotel service is amazing and so are the rooms and vibe. We are coming back this august. We don’t go anywhere else! Amazing. Everyone needs to go to Mykonos and experience this hotel and island x Laura and paul
- Nk131z (10/5): Fantastic hotel. lovely staff, great service, clean, comfortable rooms. - I could not fault this hotel, it was just what we needed. We had the most fabulous stay and hope to return one day. The staff are absolutely lovely. Swimming pools are perfect. Options of using sunbeds for free at the sister hotel on the beach. Call service from your sunlounger and they bring lunch &/or drinks at fairly reasonable prices. Quality of food provided was perfect. Our room had a big balcony with loungers, however there were so many loungers on the terrace we rarely used the ones in the room. There was a fridge in the room and coffee maker. Air con worked perfectly. I am a tea drinker so took a travel kettle. Bed was mega comfortable. Extremely fresh and clean sheets, towels. Big bathroom with walk in shower. Free beach/pool towel daily. Easy walk to lots of restaurants. just round the corner is the bus stop to get a bus into Mykonos town, cost 2 Euros and takes 10 minutes. Wish I was back there.
