• Verified traveler (4/5): They send you to a room in a different hotel! - I had purposefully chosen boutique 56, rather than boutique 53 as I wanted to be able to check in and take my room straight away in the same building. With boutique 53 you have to check in at 56 then walk back to 53 and then fight your way through the people that they have sat at tables outside the door of 53 to get into 53. I was therefore rather disappointed that after having booked boutique 56 that I was sent to a room in 53.
• Verena (4/5): - Leider entsprach das Zimmer nicht unserem gebuchten Zimmer - meine Kollegin kannte das Hotel und war bislang sehr zufrieden. So wurden wir in ein anderes Hotel mit einem viel zu kleinen Zimmer umquartiert ohne vorherige Info.
• Sarah (8/5): Für Kurztrips Tip top! - Unser Aufenthalt war kurz aber schön, wir haben eine Übernachtung gehabt. Das Hotel liegt gegenüber vom Hamburger Hbf, die s und U Bahn Station ist direkt vor Ort und auch zu Fuß zum Jungfernsteig ist es nicht weit. Die Rezeption ist 24 Stunden besetzt. Zu den Zimmer, diese hatten wir uns ehrlich gesagt etwas größer vorgestellt aber es war mehr als ausreichend und hat den Sinn und Zweck vollstens erfüllt. Für mehrere Nächte und ebenfalls zu zweit könnte es kuschelig werden, bezüglich Koffern etc. Bei der Sauberkeit kann man absolut nicht meckern Tip top! Der Service war sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr geholfen bei Rückfragen und gut auf unseren Rucksäcke aufgepasst. Rund um kann ich das Hotel weiter empfehlen besonders für Kurztrips, aus den oben genannten Gründen. Ich freue mich bald wieder einzuchecken.

Es riecht allerdings furchtbar nach Essen vom Restaurant unten drunter und da man die Fenster wegen dem Lärm von draußen besser nicht aufmachen sollte, war das alles eher schwierig. Für eine Nacht und wenn man vor allem wirklich nur zum Übernachten da ist, ausreichend, ansonsten zum Erholen oder Genießen absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Til prisen rigtigt fint hotel og belligenheden er god, da det er lige over for hovedbanegården og rigtig mange oplevelser/seværdigheder er inden for gåafstand.
• Norbert (8/5): - Wegen Corona musste ich zum Hotel Boutique 20 gehen, weil das Hotel Boutique 50 wegen Corona geschlossen war. Das Personal beim einchecken war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer wunderschön. Allerdings wurden im Zimmer die Betten nicht gemacht und nur frische Handtücher gebracht.

Nice German restaurant next door - not too touristy at all despite being in front of the central station. Only drawback was no elevator - had to lug luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Room is also quite small for 2, ok for one person.

Staff were nice - I originally booked a room with shared bathroom (no no no!!!) and they gave me en suite as I messaged and asked. Staff at reception spoke no English and the registration firm was in German only, so that was annoying.
• Constance L. (4/5): Roasting in Hamburg - The property managers were helpful and professional but they couldn't solve the heat or the noise. First of all, there is no elevator. Second of all, the only ventilation for the public areas (stairwell and hallways) are two small windows on the landing. The hallway to our room was accessed via tight closing fire doors and there was no ventilation whatsoever in the hallway. The only ventilation in the room was a single open window to the street. With the hotel room door necessarily closed all night, no cool breeze could enter and the room was stifling hot, We were on the second floor over a restaurant/pub and the building was next door with some kind of night club. We had a three night reservation for my husband, myself and my adult daughter. We were kept awake by the racket. Closing the window was not an option because of the heat. From now on I will always check to see that the place I reserve has air conditioning. My husband actually went out and purchased a fan which improved our comfort but not the noise from outside. Even though we paid extra for three beds, we only got towel for two people. For the price of a one night stay for one person this establishment could provide electric fans for every room, but it seems that the owners are counting on continuous supply of unwary customers like us. Having to pay before stay is definitely a disadvantage as there is no recourse for unsatisfactory results.

Room was small but very well designed - perfect for a shorter stay. Loved the fact that my own toilet was separated from the actual room. Pretty quite. Would consider staying here again next time I am in Hamburg. Super clean. Staff was friendly too. WiFi not too great but ok for basic browsing.

Rooms are "quaint", these accommodations work well for those who will not be spending lots of time in the room. Also, be warned, this is a city hotel with all the ambiance of being in a high traffic, high pedestrian area. If you're light sleep you WILL need earplugs.

Opposite the main station where there are a lot of undesirables but I knew the area in advance so not complaining. Very nice people working there.

This was a great option for a short (2 night) stay when arriving by train, then easy to take train to the airport upon departure, even for an early flight as the station is below. Lot's of shopping and dining options nearby, and you're only a train ride from everything else. Very friendly staff too.

Expecting the worse I was actually pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Its not luxury but it ticked all the boxes I needed. The particularly nice thing was that I left my electric toothbrush at the hotel and the friendly staff found it and have arrange to ship it back to me in London.

• Marius (6/5): Good location, but noisy - Located just by the main trainstation so great location. Since very little is done for sound proofing it gets very noisy by nightlife, sex in another room and roadwork early in the morning. The water pressure in the watersaving showerhead was redicious. It would almost have been faster to draw a bath. The bed sheets, toilet and towels was clean, but walls showed that it was not cleaned often with marks of spills. Wi-Fi worked great. At check-out nobody was there, because she was out grabbing breakfast.
• James (6/5): Opposite train station - Pro Perfect location for a stop over for train connection. The airport is a short underground journey.all clean and tidy. Bargain price! Cons Lots of noise outside, but we slept with ear plugs. Also the surrounding area seems a bit dodgy at night. No lift in the building! No coffee/tea/fridge.

Our room was small ( we expected this from photos and other reviews) but the high ceiling made it feel much bigger, it was nicely decorated and the shower was really good! There was a lot of noise coming from outside on our second night ( a Friday so to be expected) that we couldn't tell where it was coming from as there are only really restaurants on this street? But I take earplugs everywhere and my partner sleeps through anything so it didn't really matter. Check-in/-out was quick and easy. We would recommend a stay here.

The hotel was ok but I was really glad to leave and probably wouldn't stay in that area again if I could choose - I definitely wouldn't stay there with children. The room was very small, even for a single and there was no safe but it was at least clean and the wifi was free.

It was reasonably priced, extremely clean, with single bed, tv, desk, chair, lamp, shower & basin. Own toilet was down the hall and accessible with key card! It provided everything I needed. I would recommend it to anyone needing a base in the city.
• Clare (6/5): Disappointing & nothing boutique! - This is a basic hotel with no facilities in the room. The room itself was small but clean. Most of the staff were rude which made our stay unpleasant - small questions about the local area were met with a brusque response. If you want a 2-star experience in a central location this will be fine, however if you're looking for anything else look elsewhere!

• BillB (8/5): Noise...it is all about the noise - The hotel is in a great location for city accessibility. It is directly across from Central Station, on major bus routes, and there are plenty of good eateries in the area but, there is also lots of traffic and noise. The only room ventilation is the windows and when they are open it is noisy until midnight and then early in the morning with deliveries. Bring earplugs for sleeping. All said, this is a very nice hotel. The breakfast is served in a related hotel just down the block and it was good.

The room was clean, the toilet/bathroom spacey. The young man at the reception was very nice and helpful, offered to help with the luggage (there is no lift). WiFi worked just fine, but we just surfed a bit on social media.

Not the one next to the stake house. [Hotel Environment] Pretty quiet despite the location being right in front of the busy street/Hamburg Hbf (station). Interior is very elegant, and the entire facility is clean. The only cons that I can point out is some rooms do not have toilet inside the rooms. You have to go to the toilet across the hallway (I guess it is what they meant by "shared"?) but the room numbers are attached on the toilet doors. [Hotel Staff] Very nice, and friendly. [Room Size] The size of the single room was pretty compact. Though, if you only use it for taking a shower and sleep, it's great.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Low value for money - The standard of the room did not at all live up to the high room rate. While the room was very clean, it was tiny and the toilet was across the hall. Facing the station square it was extremely noisy and the wi-fi connection wasn't stable. Overall very disappointing experience as completely overpriced service.

• Beverley A (6/5): Adequate - Comfortable bed, if that is all you are looking for. No lift, welcome pack or breakfast. Adequate if you have very little luggage, a good bed and an early start.

• Juan (8/5): Worth every penny - Room was immaculate, very clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect location if you are taking the train. Only downfall is probably the best part and that it's next to the station and can stay ridiculously loud until after 10. If you are as tired as we were then the noise won't matter, but if you're looking to just sit in quiet and relax then I'd ask for a room on the other side. Lots of good places to eat nearby and the shopping district is about a mile away.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Good value across from the Hauptbahnhof - A great place to stay right across from the Hauptbahnhof. Not too fancy, but a good value for the price and relatively comfortable.
• Sandra (8/5): Nice, conveniently located hotel - I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference. It's conveniently located in front of the train station, so it's very easy to reach all parts of the city very easily. The main shopping areas and atractions are within a walking distance. The reception is open 24/7, which is very convenient, and the staff was helpful. The room was small but very good, the wifi worked perfectly, and the bathroom (although also small) was perfectly fine. There are only two things I was not too happy with. One of them is that the hotel doesn't have breakfast service. I personally prefer having my breakfast before leaving the hotel and that was not possible. Of course there are plenty of places nearby to get something to eat (the easiest being the train station) but it really isn't as convenient. The other thing is that there is no elevator. Carrying heavy luggage up several flights of stairs is not fun, especially after a long trip!
