Guest Reviews
- Víctor (9/5): Viajero del tiempo - Ubicación y estacionamiento No tienen café 🍵 el front desk es medio raro no hay personal ocupas espera te atiendan
- Sherrod (8/5): -
- Rhonda (10/5): -
- Evalon (1/5): wont ever book here again - I rented this room for my niece and her friend that were homeless at the time. I rented for 2 wks online. These girls were 18 and not homeless because of drugs. Key didn't work after day 1 and they would not re-key the door for these girls. I was out of town, and they wouldn't let the girls back in the room. The girls were with me at the front desk when i got the keys and explained it would just be them staying. The front desk guy was horribly rude to them and barely let them get their belongings out of the room.
- Anne (10/5): Staff is amazing. Clean facilities. Great price. This is the only place I stay when I visit la Porte - Very clean. Always accommodating.
- Irma (1/5): - Nothing The room was so small and the whole place stunk like wet dog and mildew.
I could not stay at this location.
- Chris (1/5): -
- brenda (1/5): It was a horrible experience - Absolutely nothing about this facility was satisfying The bed covers were all full of hits , bathroom all dirty no cable tv it was always saying no internet connection
- 888 (9/5): -
- Gustave (4/5): Short - Location Smell in hallway was horrendous and the room was old and outdated
- Jesse (10/5): -
- Precious (10/5): -

- Lucrecia (5/5): Wasn’t thrilled about the room - It was close by Not enough hot water, not enough shower pressure, had a weird smell
- Kevin (4/5): Won't stay here again. - Location No breakfast facilities or coffee.
- Jesse (10/5): -
- Gomez (10/5): -
- Donald (8/5): -
- Patti (8/5): Room - Latoya checked us in and did an amazing job. Extremely friendly and efficient to be so late
Saturday morning found out shower head sends water to top of ceiling and all over floor. The commode if you didn’t pull up handle after it would keep running in fact it was running when we entered the first time. Lots of wasted water
House keepers should noticed both toilet and tub if they cleaned them
Room was spotless though. We left room door keys on the table next to TV
- Adrian (2/5): - I would never stay again even if it was offered for free. I am at a lost how this place is rate 7.0. Sheet was dirty, the bathroom didn’t even have a soap bar I had to call to get one, the WiFi was crap and I can go on and on
- ALLAN (1/5): Will not stay again - The desk clerk was very accommodating by cleaning a room for us on the first floor. Reserved a handicap with shower. They did not have one on the first floor and the elevator was broke.
Had roaches in the room. Bed was very uncomfortable.
- crystal (7/5): -
- Pam (6/5): - There was a lot of people outside the building smoking. Didn't feel safe at times. There was 5 police there at one point. The smell of Marijuana was very noticeable.
- Kelly (1/5): - Everything,Very dirty,They had no toilet paper or clean linens inside the whole entire hotel,The place was crawling with roaches, There were people sitting outside of the hotel all day doing drugs in plain sight with their kids running around. The staff did not have it together at all. Half of everything did not work and they don't clean the rooms every day. This place honestly needs to just be shut down.
- Kelly (1/5): -
- Nick (6/5): -
- Lashae (1/5): Bad -
- Donell (7/5): Not Happy - The location, and the fact that places to eat eas in walking distance. The room that I had was great the 1st night. Woke up the next morning went on an outing. Came back to water all over the floor due to air conditioner leaking. Told the manager on duty. I had 2 choices. He would move my guest and I to another room, or he would give me towels to wipe up the water, and more to leave on the floor were the leak was coming. My guest and I got the other room. Packed All of our luggage, etc just to get to the other room, at the end of the opposite hall that smelled as soon as you opened the door, fridge stinky with rust all over the fridge, bed had hair all on top of the sheets. Soon as you pull the top cover back you can see hair all on the sheets. Hair that was very visible. I was Not satisfied. So my guest and I walked back to front desk, reported the problem. He gave me back the key to the room I originally had. Along with an arm full of floor towels to put by the air conditioner. Not only was there a leak we dealt with for the next 2 days. Air conditioner was getting cold anymore. We dealt with that as well. Neither my guest nor I touched the air conditioner. It was already set when we arrived. Went to take our dirty towels to get clean towels. Was told that they had No clean towels because they have Nobody that clean or do laundry on the weekend. I told him that was unacceptable, and he said let me see what I can do. I told him that I was there until Sunday, and this was on a Friday. Our stay was Thursday to Sunday. It says No smoking a certain amount of feet from entrance. Soon as you walk into the entrance of the hotel. You can smell nothing but Smoke, and the manager, or workers of the front desk were the ones that were actually smoking as soon as you walk in or out of the establishment. Not acceptable. Not very Happy with rhe stay, but, I tolerated.
- Jamie (2/5): - Just the most basic living conditions.
- Wikishia (6/5): Ok and convenient if you have extra money - Everything was great until we had to buy cooking utensils that were supposed to be included and towels because they ran out of towels after the first night and said they wouldn't have anymore until Monday because they were under staffed. What if I didn't have any extra money?
- Francisco (10/5): - Good nice
- Crystal (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nancy (2/5): - We weren't allowed to check in. He said it was canceled but charged fee. My link did not have time restrictions.
- Jeanine (6/5): - There was a giant coach roach crawling across floor as soon as we walked in. The wall by air needs replacing seems to have water damage and smells some
- Brandoj85 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gonzalez (7/5): Good -
- Jose (10/5): - Good staff
- Labruyere (5/5): Passable -
- Gilbert (10/5): Exceptional - My room was very clean and I love when the air conditioner works . If I have anything negative to say it would just be the outer look of the fridge in the room but that's it.
- JR (8/5): - Food and crumbs all over the floor. Sheets covered in stains and hair.
- Gregg (1/5): Will never stay again at WoodSpring! - Location Dirty, house keeping non existent had to go to front desk to get clean towels, plus the front desk bypassed the safety front door by placing a zip tie around the handle so you didn’t have to use your door card to get in!!!!!
- william (2/5): No - No one was at the front desk to actually check me in. I’ll be refunding via my credit card since no one bothered to give me the thing I payed for.
- Ashley (4/5): - Tv didn’t work, toilet didn’t flush, sheets didn’t smell clean, tub was dirty towels didn’t smell clean, elevator stunk, vending machine didn’t work
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Haitham (10/5): - Great hotel
- Mike (8/5): - Very loud but i loved the area
- Dawn (6/5): - It was nice and clean but the lights did not work in the bathroom
- Carolyn (4/5): Disappointing - No Internet waited at the front desk for an hour. No one came.
- Julia (1/5): Bad -
- Anthony (5/5): Not good. I am Retired USAF, military veteran, Anthony Mickens. chevy1131@outlook.com - Nothing, they should be cleaning the rooms on a daily basis and not once every 2 weeks as they currently do. Everything
- Majose (10/5): - Muy buen servicio
- Nicole (1/5): I don’t ever wish to stay at this location again. - That particular location should only be advertised as a weekly MOTEL, not a hotel. Everything about the hotel screams weekly MOTEL. The people in the room above me partied until idk 2am and I know because all I heard were footsteps all night above my head
- Calvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Will stay again 😊 - Friendly staff. Clean rooms. We have stayed here several times. At least once a year for the past 6 years. Great facility 😊
- James (8/5): - We had a pretty good stay.
- Amanda (1/5): Will not stay again. - No breakfast. No working bathroom in the lobby, no staff working overnight from 10pm to 5am. The room bathroom toilet didn’t flush well. Room had dust balls, as if it wasn’t swept properly.
- Hunter (2/5): - .
- LeShanae (2/5): - unprofessional & negligent. and now trying to deny my review that way, no one can see it is absurd. I didn’t mention anything personal. I told the truth.
- Garcia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristen (8/5): Very good -
- Martí (8/5): Very good -
- Braian (1/5): Would never come back here. - Literary nothing. Mold in rooms. Staff didn’t show up for over 30 mins. Rooms dirty.
- Reginald (8/5): - Send a good location
- Hassiel (4/5): - Front desk was very dismissive and just had headphones in the entire time.
- Hill (7/5): It was good. -
- Reginald (8/5): - Food
- Corina (5/5): Passable - No coffee maker or coffee, no ice made in freezer, no extra towels, only 2 in BR.
- Michael (5/5): It’s a place to stay by yourself, not with your family - It was close to everythint, krogers, fast food, gym, work It’s dirty and they only clean the works once every two weeks and the hall ways smell like weed, trash in the hall ways and stairways sometimes, there’s always people hanging out outside all times of the day or night that look like either homeless, or drug users
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Montana (10/5): - Quiet with access to lots of restaurants
- Joanna (2/5): Disappointed - When we first walked into the room, we could smell smoke and it seem like guests normally smoke in this room. My daughter has asthma and cannot stay in a room with cigarette smoke. We were only in the room about five minutes and we saw cockroaches. Needless to say, we left and checked into another hotel
- Erin (10/5): Was in town for work with my husband. The hotel was a nice stay. - The location was nice. The rooms were nice and very accommodating/comfortable. Nothing.
- Jesus (5/5): meh never book late - clean kinda rude employee
- Kvng (10/5): Exceptional -
- Devonta (3/5): mediocre - decent size, kitchenette, full fridge hidden charges. policies not made known at time of booking or checkin.
- Corey (2/5): - Worst place I’ve stayed at smelt like hard boiled egg and cockroaches everywhere!! I couldn’t emphasize enough how much to avoid this place!!
- Gavin (4/5): Texas Tragedy - it had a large fridge and hot plates we were caught in the middle of a hurricane so nothing was great a few disappoints were
no jug to make a cup of tea
they advertise full kitchen facilities but no pots or any cooking utensils were provided
during the electricity outage
no air con and the window only opens 2 inches so the room was like an oven
didn't see any cleaners so
the room was getting a bit ordinary by the end of a week
I could go on a lot of problems were caused by the electricity outage but staff didn't try to help make things any better
a generator gave a very basic power to the room but could have been a lot better
- Louisville (6/5): It was nice because of the front desk attendee and the A/C worked great! - The gentleman at the counter upon check in was so awesome! He told me about all of the surrounding attractions for myself and the kids and even helped me Google some places to check their hours and prices. It really made my day from a long ride wondering what we were going to do! The extra face towel and large towel was forgotten based on the booking request. I did not notice until we were preparing the bathe late that night. Also, it was only my kids and I, they were adult men standing outside at the entrance randomly smoking, it made me feel a little uncomfortable.
- Doug (8/5): - Nice location
- Melvia (7/5): Good -
- Montana (10/5): - Clean. Plenty of parking. Washers and dryers look great. Will be using this place for all my work trips
- sonya (2/5): - Sheets were dirty, very bad! Service was awful, hall ways stank, everything about it was dirty! Do not go!
- Sissibel (4/5): - Poo in the toilet nasty
- Michael (6/5): - I was ok
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not a hotel - Didn’t realize this was an extended stay hotel when we booked. We always call the hotel when we know we will be arriving much later than check in time. When we called this hotel, front office told us, we needed to arrive before they closed @ 10 pm. 🤔 When we arrived we understood why they closed, this hotel is more of an extended stay place. Which is why they probably don’t clean the rooms that often. Our room had hair in the bathtub, toilet was dirty like someone had just used it. Bed and the rest of the room was okay, looked old and well lived in. Second room smelled nasty. The front desk person couldn’t even go in to inspect because as soon as he opened the door he smelled it. We we given another room , which was okay.
- Elsa (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (8/5): Very good - Happy wit staying Ice box was dirty on outside
- Isis (4/5): Stink - The room was out of date. No shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. It was some bar soap in the bathroom already open and used. Th hotel did not smell pleasant it had an odor.
- Kirsten (5/5): Passable -
- Polasek (1/5): Never Again. Very disappointing. Drug haven. - Price Room was filthy. Kitchenette still had food stains all over it. Smelled of vomit. Immediately tried getting a refund but made me pay for it anyway. Obvious unsavory clientele.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Wilson (7/5): Great location, clean and convenient - Excellent location near Space Center Friendlier staff might be a plus
- Sarah (4/5): - As soon as you walk in to the hallway to go to your room it smells so strongly of cigarettes and pet urine. I had to double wash my clothes once I got home to get the smell off of them. The smell it so strong it gave me a migraine my whole time staying there.
- Kennon (5/5): Passable -
- Edward (8/5): - Gor me on the 1st floor.
- Brittnie (4/5): Disappointing - Amazing staff!!!!! And great and safe location It stunk so bad like illegal drugs and cigarettes and moldy air filters it made us sick the whole time almost, had to spend a lot of time out of the room
- Bobby (10/5): - It was a wonderful experience
- Hills (1/5): Bad -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrific from start to finish - It was horrible from start to finish. The person checking me in was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable being there. He was telling me how I was causing a problem by checking in after midnight. Somehow my quoted price I confirmed on hotels.com went up $70 while checking in. Very uncomfortable experience while I was checking in alone. The room smelled like smoke and piss mixed together. There were roaches all over the whole stay. The towels had stains on them. The drawers in the dressers were dirty. The freeze and fridge smelled like rotten fish. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.
- Joseph (2/5): - I’ve been staying at this property for work for at least a year when I’m in town. The price is good but the behavior amongst guests and staff is on decline. One week there was lots of noise which sounded like a guest playing ball with their pet past midnight. Another case the alarm went off after midnight so I tried to extend my checkout to catch up on missed sleep and staff was rude when I woke up to pack and leave. I’ll just stay somewhere else.
