• Sylvain (8/5): Séjour reposant avec belle piscine - Accueil attentif et professionnel. Petit déjeuner très copieux (international et local), mention spéciale pour les omelettes du chef ! Personnel aux petits soins. Magnifique piscine peu fréquentée, dont nous avons profité tous les jours avec nos ados,(mais attention piscine extérieure non chauffée).Serviettes de piscine fournies. Salle de bain satisfaisante (avec bon débit d'eau donc parfait pour les shampoings). Lits très confortables. Hôtel situé a environ 10 min en tuk-tuk du centre ville (mais bien montrer l'adresse au chauffeur car plusieurs hôtels avec un nom semblable). Chambre difficile à aérer donc accumulation de l'humidité au long du séjour.
• Thusitha (7/5): Location was good. - The breakfast was very good and delicious. We liked the location and the mountain view from our room. It was so comfy because of the location. Due to the heavy wind the bathroom door was opened and it disturbed our sleep a bit. We managed to fix it by ourself. The bathroom does not have enough space so it is a bit uncomfortable.

• Melanie (8/5): Very good - Exceptional staff always willing to help. Breakfast staff were really attentive and the buffet was really tasty. Location was great and the pool was lovely and refreshing. Our suite was massive. The room smelt a bit smokey and the kitchenette wasn't very clean as it was a bit old but the family suite was massive. There was an error on the site with the price so I'd check directly with the hotel first.
• Andrea (4/5): - First of all the condition of bathroom and the cleanliness of the room in general was really poor, insect on the floor, mold and dirty at evwry corner.In the morning, after informing the reception that the water was cold, and after the visit of some staff, we have been forced to take cold shower, since the problem was not solved after more than 40 minutes. In additio the quality of the food (dinner and breakfast) below average with limited options. UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT UPLOAD THE PICTURES OF THE DISGUSTING BATHROOMS WE FOUND
• Vera (7/5): perfect for one night. - there are many monkeys running around. very cute. also the rooms are nice and with a spacious balkony. it's a little far from town but easily reachable via tuk tuk.

• Knies (6/5): The hotel needed a good bleaching, but the location was pretty good. - I liked that they had an option for a family room, it had 4 twin beds and one queen size. The rooms need a nice bleaching. There is mold in all of the bathrooms and the cabinets and counter were falling off in the family room. They legit taped the counter together.
• Yuri (7/5): Nice hotel, not far from the lake - The breakfast was really good, especially when the buffet was organised. The swimming pool was heaven in the hot days! Staff very helpful There were occasional leaks of water in the bathroom (spilling into the bathroom as well) that wasn't clear where they were oming from. We haven't told the staff as it wasn't a major issue
• Jacob (10/5): Really good! - The food was really good at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and did their outmost to help us - we stayed for a week because we had to visit family in Kandy, and the staff did a lot to help us arranging family dinners, etc. The rooms are good value for price, and it’s only a short Tuk-tuk ride away from the center of the city. We will definitely stay there again, when we return to Kandy - ftr. then we have visited Kandy many times, where we have stayed at many different hotels. This was absolute our best stay - Oak Ray is our new favorite hotel in Kandy! Nothing!

• Maaike (1/5): Bad - Good views of Ella. Especially from the dining room. Close to town. Our room was covered in black mold. The staff showed us a few alternatives, some also covered in mold. Eventually the final offer was a double room for the price of a family room. WiFi wasn’t working throughout the hotel. We ended up leaving and booking elsewhere.

• Kunduz (5/5): Poor - Location and staff Very bad condition of furniture,luckily bed wasn’t broken, rest of the furniture was broken, dirty rooms Breakfast was poor, nothing fresh. They said breakfast till 9-30, but by 9 was empty buffet, if we can name it buffet.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice with good family room option - We had a very good stay. We booked the family room for our family of four. There are actually 4 single beds and 1 double beds, so the room can accommodate a larger family. It has a living room area and a kitchen area with a table (with four chairs). The room was convenient for us. Breakfast is buffet style. The options are okay, but a little limited and coffee is really not good. The dinner buffet is better and actually quite good. They also had a small band playing some music, which was quite nice.
• SHUJUN (8/5): - 附近同一条路上还有一家Serene Grand Hotel,大家可别认错了。这家酒店员工热情，早餐也还可以，应该还是会推荐的。
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel on top of the hill.Good view from balcony.We saw lots of monkeys playing and wandering around.However nothing much within walking distance.Must be an at least 30 mins walk into town.
