• ETSUKO (8/5): 立地が良い - ビーチ目の前と言う好立地で選びました。お隣はヘナンです。レストランも海を眺めながらで料金も特別高い訳ではなく味も問題無し。翌日の午前中にシャワーの出が悪くなるハプニングがありましたが島なら仕方ないと言った感じです。ホテル敷地内にプールもありますし坂道で広いです。たまたま空いていたのでビーチに近いレストラン隣の部屋に変更して貰いビーチまで直ぐレストラン隣で良かったですアロナビーチでのマッサージも良かったです

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Alacarte frühstück erst ab 10 Uhr geht gar nicht. Service allgemein hat keinen Philippinen-Standard. Räume sind untere Mittelklasse. Investitionsstau. Strand hat keinen hohen Standard. Angebot an Restaurants und Bars ist gut und größtenteils von guten Standard.
• Daniel (6/5): Budget resort right on the beach - It’s a budget resort with a great location right on the beach. Nothing more nothing less. The WiFi didn’t work in my room so I had to get closer to the restaurant to use that one when needed. During my stay I also stayed in two different hotels on the same street, same standard, less then half price. So if it’s important for you to stay at the beach this is for you. If you want to pay less but have to walk some choose another one.

• Robertus (8/5): Prachtig resort aan het mooiste stuk witte strand - Prachtig resort aan het mooiste stukje witte strand van Alona beach, een waar paradijsje. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Receptie zou iets attenter mogen zijn. Bij aankomst was de kamer nog niet klaar omdat we wat vroeger waren, maar als er wordt gezegd we sturen je een SMS als de kamer klaar is gebeurd dit niet wel zeggen niet doen. Dat wachten is dan vervelend(4 uur wachten). De jetski verhuurders bij het resort aan het strand erg vieze jongen en erg brutaal. Hele dag spuugen en roggelen op de grond. Als je er iets van zegt trekken ze er niks van aan. Ik weet niet of ze bij het resort horen maar mijn advies vervangen!!! Kamers zouden beter schoongemaakt moeten worden. Vloeren en wand tegels worden volgens mij niet vaak schoongemaakt alleen vegen. Wandtegels in de douche zijn nog nooit met een doek afgenomen de kalk van het voegen zat er nog op. Buiten deze kritische punten uiteraard meer goede punten! Een prachtig resort met mooi en schoon zwembad en mooi gelegen aan een mooi stuk schoon wit strand. Restaurant personeel helemaal top! Kamermeisjes wel heel vriendelijk! Resorttuin prachtig. Locatie top!! Goede Wifi verbinding alleen in het restaurant. Op de kamers geen Wifi. Al met al een aanrader!

• Verified traveler (10/5): - We spend 3 weeks at Alona Tropical Beach Resort this past May. Highest marks from us! Our unit was updated, air conditioned, and we had a view of the beach. The place is really special with beautiful gardens, a unique swimming pool, and more. In the true Filipino style. The staff is top notch! They really made our stay extra special. Angel, Jiasia, and Arnel (bar tender) in the restaurant took great care of us! Mario at the beach, kept the beach clean and brought out chairs for us. Christian at the front lobby took great care of us also! Hard workers, friendly and they always made time for us. The manager Deo was so very helpful to us in every way. Also, housekeeping was wonderful! We will be back again next year! We live in Tennessee, USA.

• Alice (8/5): Lovely character, right on Alona Beach - The gardens around the hotel buildings are beautifully kept and the pool is great, nestled within these gardens. You can walk from your room to the lovely white beach in less than a minute. Rooms are on the basic side but have everything you need. The restaurant has a good range of options and overlooks the beach so very relaxing. I’d recommend to anyone visiting Bohol.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Alona Tropical - Das Zimmer entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen, aber nach Reklamation an der Rezeption wurde uns ein Zimmer angeboten, dass entsprach. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, ruhig und das Personal sehr bemüht. Im Restaurant kann man gut zu den Ortsüblichen Preisen essen. Der Strand ist super und zu Fuß ist man gleich in Alona. Insgesamt waren wir nach anfänglichen Zimmerproblemen sehr zufrieden.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Not going back to this resort due to poor service - Check-in & check-out processes were quick, and staff at the front desk were friendly. After checking-in, I tested the water supply in the bathroom, and found out that sink faucet had no water at all. I then informed the staff about this. He promised that this would be fixed "soon." My friends and I then went out to explore Alona Beach. We went back to the room at around 12:30 AM. To our surprise, the problem was not fixed. Because the front desk was not open 24 hours, I had no choice but to inform the guard on duty about our predicament. To my disappointment, the guard's initial reply was, "Sir, ..." I insisted that this needed to be fixed now; otherwise they should look for another room for us to stay. After 30 minutes of constantly following up with the guard, I finally overheard a rude voice on the other line of the walkie-talkie, "..." I later found out that the rude voice was from the admin manager, leo It took the hotel staff at least one hour to resolve the problem. We moved to another room at around 1:30 AM. Yes, early in the morning. Solutions: 1. Someone needs to be in-charge of addressing issues 24 hours 2. Person in-charge needs to face the guest to assure him/her that appropriate actions are being taken 3. Use constructive words at all times. leo was rude 4. Give "special treatment" to the guest by probably upgrading to a better room, or providing free breakfast, etc

• Wei-Jer (4/5): 不會再有下次了，這真的是一場鬧劇！ - Room type:Pool Side Suite.$2833 房間比較原始，應該已經有30年歷史的感覺，床鋪太短，家具皆為藤製符合當地風情，但稍嫌不舒適，不會想使用，最糟糕的是浴室，透氣窗跟浴缸位置沒有錯開，只要在浴缸淋浴，室外的人就可以從透氣窗看到淋浴者，淋浴的蓮蓬頭只有冷水，熱水器為另一個蓮蓬頭，根本無法正常舒適的洗澡（我還要自己改裝配置才敢使用），洗手槽的排水孔沒有塞子，無法儲水洗滌，畢竟到海岸邊玩回來後需要在房間內做簡單的洗滌，這也無法順利辦到，浴室內只有小條毛進沒有大條浴巾，房間內也沒有吹風機，要到櫃台借，以上是我所住的客房體驗，但餐廳的食物還可以，也營業到晚上24:00，算方便！飯店也還再增設房間，應該會比較新式！這次的房間完全不值得這個價錢！ 服務人員倒是非常親切有禮貌！也會主動協助提行李到房間！

• Coco (8/5): Awesome Hotel! - Nice hotel right on the beach. Cafe & bar. Also, has Tropical divers on site. The rooms are a bit small but are clean & nicely furnished. The gardens & pool are wonderful. The staff super nice. I've stayed here twice & hope to be back again!

• Julia (2/5): You can do way better - I wouldn't stay there again. Because I booked through hotels.com, they gave us a hut with no air conditioning. In order to get AC, they wanted me to pay double what I'd already paid. We tried a night in the fan room, but it's summertime and obviously super hot, so we paid up even though it's only an ok hotel and definitely not worth 6500php per night. The second room had plumbing issues so we had to move to a third room which was just ok. All the rooms were run down with cracks in the foundation, etc. There was a big gap under the door so all the creepy crawlies (including gigantic roaches and centipedes) could waltz right in. The more expensive room was supposed to include free breakfast but when I went to check out, they tried to charge me for the breakfast that I'd eaten. They also tried to charge double the standard rate when I asked about scooter rentals, which is just rude. I love spending money, but I felt like they were trying to rip me off constantly, which is not cool. There are wayyyy better hotels in the area. On the plus side, the grounds are beautiful and the dive shop is great. JoJo is an excellent divemaster, and balicasag island is amazing. Also the pool is nice

Wifi can use some improvement not just in public places. Food tastes good but availability of items on the menu is occasionally disappointing. Still highly recommend.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Great tropical jungle feel. Super pool. Quiet end of the beach . Friendly staff. These qualities itself were worth staying. Good restaurant but food always took a long time. Room was corner room which seemed small. Staff said just as big as the other same charged rooms, but it was smaller. It was a newer remodled room i believe, which was nice.
• Linnea (6/5): Perfekt läge men inte dom finaste rummen. - Hotellet var helt ok. Förväntade mig lite bättre standard på rummet men det var ett väldigt enkelt rum. Läget är dock helt perfekt! Ligger i ena änden av stranden så det blir inte lika mycket folk som på andra ställen av stranden vilket uppskattades. Flera olika restauranger längst stranden som var väldigt bra.

• Not Provided (8/5): Great location - I have stayed at this hotel twice now, and would have no problem staying here again. It's in a great location at the end of Alona Beach. The hotel staff is great and the property is always being maintained.
• Oliver (2/5): Great location, not great hotel - On a positive note the location is perfect, peaceful, feels like private end of busy beach. Beach is clean and less dogs by this hotel. Cons: the hotel itself is tired and although some staff are very keen alot of them can't be bothered or just pass a problem onto someone else. Very basic rooms for the price, tip, take your own toiletries. Air con machine is like having a tractor in your room. So only go if you can sleep in heat. Construction work. The hotel was quite empty and they out us in a room right nextdoor to the construction work which starts at 7am! Not too clever... Was better once we moved room. Just a bit more effort/common sense would be good. Overall, expensive for what it is. Plenty of other choices and you can walk up to use the same part of the beach.

• allen (8/5): - Good budget minded resort. Last on the end of the beach, quiet, a good place for couples. Rooms are big and clean even if a little plain. Hotel staff is great. Place is clean, they never stop maintaining the property, cleaning all day.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Relaxing break - Hotel is very basic wifi is only in lobby pool and restaurant area , food in hotel was ok and cheap there are loads of restaurants just along the beach. If you want a relaxing holiday then this is the place. Beware of the mosquitos
• Marilyn (6/5): Good for the value - The place is serene with trees and native cabanas which is great. For the value of the room, accommodation is okay except for a VERY noisy air conditioner that competed with the tv. We couldn't sleep soundly because of the noise. Housekeeping staff has a lounging area behind our room and was talking loud very early in the morning. I told housekeeping about the noisy AC and she promised to have it changed. But while getting dressed, she came back and opened the door without knocking with the man behind her. It's a good thing that I just pulled my pants up as she opened the door. So they accommodated us by transferring us to the next room where the AC is not as noisy when the AC they brought in did not fit in the slot. The place will be a hit if they change their outdated AC and train their housekeeping staff to practice common courtesy of knocking and not talk loud early in the morning when walls are not insulated for outside noise. But restaurant and reception staff provided us with good customer service.
• Joan Cecilia (6/5): - It was okay. Not that good but can be okay. Their room is not that clean. Ants are in the CR and mosquitos are in the bedroom. Also, their window has a broken lock so safety is not guaranteed. It was okay for us 'coz we didn't stay at the room for long. We roam around bohol and only stayed at alona tropical to sleep.
• Rob (4/5): Very tired buildings - Broken shower, broken tap, tv didn't go, no servicing of the rooms, not worth the money we paid for a so called deluxe room. The power also went out 3 times just in the block we where in and nowhere else in the hotel. We emailed the hotel twice to advise we would be late arriving and they didn't respond at all. The only good thing was the aircon worked and it had a good location on the beach.
• Frederick (6/5): Bad Smell! - Our room ( room 55) was next to the neighbor hotel's septic tank and the room (room 55) smelled really bad for the duration of our stay.
• Iris (4/5): Very disappointed! - The only thing I like about Alona tropical resort is its location and that most of the staff were very friendly. I was quite disappointed with our room though,room 55. It was close to the septic tank area so it made the room very smelly and you can actually smell it all the way to the pool area. I asked to be transferred to a different room only to be told there was no more availability. Instead they pointed their finger to hennan resort saying they are the ones causing the smell. Anyway if you plan to book a room here, just get the beach front rooms. This hotel needs to learn how to do service recovery!
• Mary (8/5): Top location on the beach - Terrific location at the end of the beach. Our bungalow was spacious, beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom really is ready for a remodel but everything worked. We would recommend and stay here again for location and value.
• Barbara (6/5): beautiful place with inconsiderate neighbours - lovely stay but spoiled by noise from the resort next door. They played music until 2 a.m our last night. Also wish there was comfortable furniture. best to get beach loungers and try to keep them by the unit. this hotel has beautiful lush surroundings and a wonderful location at the end of the beach but the noise is very intrusive.

• Adam (10/5): Quaint room with awesome beach front. - Overall the grounds were really 'outdoor friendly' with lots of shade around the pool and down until the beach front. The staff was very helpful with booking activities and gathering belongings. The room was a modest size with not much going on but it was just a place to leave luggage and sleep so that didn't matter much. However, the bed sheets seemed to be a bit dirty and unchanged from night to night.
• marilyn (8/5): Close to beach. But reception is not very competen - There is no water or coffee /tea in rooms which is a basic expectation. We needed to swimming towels and again it was a battle to get these. The location is great ....the dive centre is very laxidazy...otherwise it was a nice stay
