• Prakash (1/5): This property should be BLACK LISTED for misleading information - This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed, and I would never recommend this motel to anyone. If you want to make a mockery of yourself, then yes — this place may feel like heaven for you and your family. I still wonder how Maqbool became “Mike” and “Cabby.” It is honestly a shame to call this hospitality service. This place is completely disorganized, and guests practically have to beg for basic amenities that should already be provided. The microwave was placed in a filthy area that looked like it had never been cleaned after a hurricane. It was disgusting and an absolute eyesore. The so-called barbecue area was equally useless because by the time you brought your food back to your room, it had already gone cold. Even basic disposable plates and spoons were missing. Whenever we requested them, Maqbool alias “Mike” would raise his eyebrows and act as if he were doing us a huge favor. The attitude and facial expressions alone made guests feel unwelcome. I even felt pity for an elderly man who looked helpless while trying to help his ailing son heat pre-cooked food. This place advertises “free breakfast,” but when someone asked about it, Mike rudely replied, “What do you expect at this price?” Peak season is no excuse for such poor treatment and terrible management. Please refrain from staying here. From my experience, the owner appears dishonest and completely different from how he presented himself while booking the room at this dusty, poorly maintained motel. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed, and I would never recommend this motel to anyone. • Juergen (8/5): Check for hot water first before you take the room - Quiet place not much traffic. On the main road. No hot water in the room for a shower or in the sink. I left the water running for 10 minutes and no warm water was coming.

• brian (8/5): other than that a pleasant stay - room staff and location perfect did not like the idea of having to pay an extra $30.00 because I was there early its not like the place was full

• Paul (4/5): - Stayed three nights. None of the breakfast had pork, bacon or pork sausages., there’s no reason why they couldn’t have both but they had and pork sausages or pork patties. Pancakes would be a good idea. They need bigger flames underneath the main dishes to keep them more than a little warmer. Everything was just you might call warm. Send them sitting in a steam bath. We maintain the temperatures of the lot hotter. This is a must. didn’t like the new form to cool breakfast. Either way to maintain the temperatures of the food hotter. Like some places are in steam heat that into a pan of water that creates steam and keeps the food hotter and add a little moisture to it. I have to have a CPAP machine to sleep. Had a very hard problem, trying to find plugs on the side of the bed. Today, people have electronic devices and see machines. Needs a power outlet on both side sides of the bed.

The price would have been okay if we had one of the rooms with a view on the lake. Another couple paid less than us and had a beautiful view. We on the other hand were in a back building facing an alley way and very noisy. Right next to an exit with door opening and closing. Also not soundproof

• Keith (9/5): I would book again with Trailsman motel if I am back that way again. - Breakfast was good , we didn't have to travel to another restaurant for breakfast. Beds were comfortable and a nice view of the bay. I found that trying to get out onto the highway was touchy as the traffic was traveling super fast by the motel. It would be nice if the speed limit was slower by the motel.

• Frank (8/5): I would stay here again - The location is in close proximity to the cabot trail, which was my reason for taking the trip. The set up of the lodge and the views were great. Pool area needs a little TLC, as well as the rooms need a little extra attention on cleanliness. There are no restaurants within walking distance.

• Patricia (10/5): This is the perfect place to stay especially if you are travelling on the Cabot Trail. - The room was spacious and clean. It was close to the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were fantastic. Everything was good.

I had to wipe it down with lysol wipes before I would shower but the rest of the washroom was clean. Overall it was great, no carpet which I liked.

Very good room, excellent beds, and a bath tub to relax in. I like how the breakfast time is early so I can eat and check out early. Nothing, it was perfect for what i needed during my travels.

The hotel was clean and had all the conveniences. I would definitely go back there. There was nothing I didn't like.

Otherwise, the room was clean.Parking was confusing, in our "designated area" around our room,5 spots for 16 rooms. I think all the spots should be numbered. Always empty ones in the front, where most people ended up parking.

Staff recommended a safe spot to run close to the facility. Room was very warm and there appeared no way to control the heat.
