Important Information

No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140 and Highway 41, remain open all year. Please note that this year, the Tioga Pass will be closed until late June. When traveling with pets, please note that an extra charge of USD 20 per dog, per night applies. Please note that a maximum of 2 dogs is allowed per booking. Please note that pets are not allowed in the following room types: 'Deluxe Family Suite' and 'Studio Queen'. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Paul (7/5): It was an overall good stay. - Suite was very roomy, beautiful view, liked the separate quarters. Overall nice place to stay. The tub and shower had very low water pressure. There was no shut off for the shower so the tub could run more quickly. It took the tub a long time to fill up. There were what appeared to be mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinet by the fridge. Never saw a mouse just drops in cabinet.

The heating in the unit was also good. Would have liked a dimmed light during the night and a matt for the shower/bathtub.

We used some of the kitchenware, and some seemed to be old and need to be replaced. For example, the small frying pan handle was loose, almost ready to fall off. Treva (3/5): - It was cute and clean. But that's the only thing I liked. Not a small room but a tiny room. No space for any kind of storage at all! All lugage had to be stored in the car. No space for skis. Electric outlet extensions had a sign on it not to over use or it could trip and electric box is in the other unit. Why have an electric outlet extension with 6+ outlets? What is too much? Using 3 of the outlets, 4, ??? It's obvious they shaved off a bedroom from the other unit and made a studio out of it but it's not worth it. And the heater is a space heater in the middle of the room that takes up what little floor space there is!
Mark (10/5): It had the traditional cabin in the woods ambiance. - It was clean and very cozy. The galley style kitchen was very complete with pots and pans, dishes and such. Hot water in the bath room was instant, no wait. The location was a reflection of what Mammoth used to be, not the newer look of multi storied condos. A little better selection or quantity of kindling to get a fire started in the wood burning stove.

The area was out of the way from all of the other tourist and people coming in from out of town. The bed was a little too squeeky. Aside frrom that, there was not much the we didn't like. The window was covered with snow but that wasn't too bad.

We'd go and boo - - Proximity to the places we wanted to go to - Completeness of the things we needed - Cleanliness of the property - The shower rod was broken and when I slid the shower curtain, the rod almost fell on me - The sofa bed was difficult to set up coz the hinges weren't working properly anymore - Some of the sofa bed's cushions smelled like urine - The central heater was not adjustable and it was so hot inside the apartment during the night - There was no available staff to assist when we wanted some more coffee and condiments for the coffee maker

Michael (8/5): Comfortable and affordable accommodations in a good location. - Very clean and comfortable. Good location. Well equipped kitchen. Property provided ample supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper and soap. Check in and check out hassle free. Even though we didn’t use the wood burning stove, firewood was provided. The furniture could use an upgrade. Hot water was an issue. Ran the water a long time before it would heat up which seemed wasteful. Walls could use more insulation between rooms. Sound from adjacent room was loud. Could hear the neighbor’s normal conversation clearly. Fortunately, they weren’t late night party people.

Martin (7/5): Overall we had pleasant stay. - We liked the cozy rooms, the new bed frame and night stands, the barn door to the bedroom/bathroom. In the kitchen we liked the almost new electric oven/stove. The carpet is old and a wood panel floor would be a cleaner look. The new bed is positioned wrong and it coverd the access to the window and to the electrical outlet. ( if positioned correctly, the two nightstands would not fit) In the kitchen we missed teaspoons, serving bowls. The only frying pan was cheap, and scratched teflon. There was only one big pot and a very small one, nothing in between. Refridgerator was on the small side.

Glenn (8/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay… - I like the location. It’s quiet and picturesque. Lighting needs an update ( 2 lamps not working) on all areas of the unit. Some stains found on one of the twin beds.

Maria del carmen (10/5): Overall despite the issues I would return here for my summer vacations. - It was a really great place. A lot of close stores to buy necessities. Check in and check out was also easy to do. The house was very clean upon our arrival. Overall it was very calm and safe. Unfortunately, a day before check out the power went out. And the lady who went to fix the issue didn’t have the best mood, she wasn’t pleased to be there. And the kettle to heat water has a very oxidized nail in it, which was concerning. There were also some spider webs on the ceiling of the house.

I would recommend adding a few more cooking utensils, such as a larger pot, a ladle, and a cutting board, and making sure the existing utensils are in good condition. The can opener in the drawer was broken. The apartment is furnished with very old furniture throughout. The mattress on the bed is severely warped and extremely uncomfortable, and any movement causes the springs to squeak, making it difficult to sleep. The dresser in the bedroom is also very old, and the drawers contain built-up dust that cannot be properly cleaned due to the condition of the wood. The sofa in the living room is likewise very outdated. The apartment’s location requires driving to all ski resorts; none are within walking distance. Both the bathroom and the kitchen are outdated as well, although it should be noted that they were functional. I would strongly recommend installing a curtain or covering above the front door window. The window allows significant exterior light into the apartment at night, which was very disruptive for anyone sleeping on the sofa, and we had to improvise a temporary solution.
Guest (8/5): - A nice cozy room with a fireplace-shaped stove, a spectacular atmosphere for relaxation is just right. The bedroom is very cold, there is no heater. I had to open the doors from the hall so that it wouldn't be too warm. Upon arrival, I couldn't figure out for a long time how to open the doors, where I needed to find an envelope with the door code in it, why couldn't I just send it earlier

Catherine (9/5): Lovely stay and cozy winter experience in mammoth lakes. - I loved the coziness and the view of the living room. The location is also very close to many major viewpoints. The staff was very friendly. The bedroom heater did not work well. A mild leaking issue happened in the bathroom toilet and sink. Other than that, it was comfortable.
