Guest Reviews
- Debra (9/5): - It was clean, no smells Phone didn't work
- Nhoun (3/5): - Nice staff Run down motel never again
- LATHROP (9/5): -
- Cassie (8/5): -
- Kathleen (7/5): -
- Bambi (10/5): Great Overnight Stay - Friendly staff, clean rooms, hot water and you do need to ask for a coffee pot and coffee as not supplied unless you request. All good. No issues except the wind :)
- Paul (8/5): Good value for the money - Friendly stuff
Rooms are dated, but clean.
Good value for the money.
- Ikrombek (8/5): -
- Kim (3/5): Do not believe the reviews. You get LESS than you pay for. - Location was nice I had pre-paid online, and the person checking us in was insistent that I had not, I showed him my receipt and he got someone else to help. It took awhile, but he did see that was the case. I read reviews that this was clean and very well upkept place.....I differ. For the price I would skip this place, for another 20 bucks you'll get something MUCH nicer! I took the risk by the reviews, knowing we were just going to lay our head down to sleep and go. It's old and VERY outdated.
- Cassie (9/5): -
- Roger (8/5): -
- Mary (5/5): Good place to sleep - Cost and room cleanliness were good. Very old building with many ohsha violations
- Timothy (10/5): -
- Trish (8/5): -
- Cheryl (9/5): Great little motel - We always stay here when passing through York. It's a family run motel and they are always friendly and accommodating. The location is good. It's an older motel but the rooms are clean and comfortable. We like that you can park outside your room door and it is well lit outside. It's not that we don't like, but just to let people know there are about 3 steps up to ground level rooms. Minor issues, older toilets, round and lower. But that does not keep us from staying here.
- Jill (8/5): -
- Cassie (7/5): -
- Dana (9/5): Safe haven for sleep - I travel with pets. The Yorkshire Motel is a clean, simple, slightly worn (as am I), family tended, welcome respite after a long day’s travel where I and my company have always been met with kindness and a grassy field to romp in. We’ll be back.
- Tom (10/5): - Clean room good price
- Brost (8/5): -
- Apache Junction winter (8/5): Good price but motel needs some maintenance - Excellent price, comfortable beds, good location, easy access to room Older motel that needs updating, door would not lock very good, not much breakfast offered, noisy bathroom fan.
- Bouchard (7/5): - Location and room. And The Kitchen
- Bevard (7/5): Comfortable and quiet - Not much selection but usually only look for coffee Some of the stuff looked like it had been there for a while
- Mike (8/5): Great place convenient and nice - Friendly and clean Bed a little hard
- James (Jim) (10/5): Stay there every time we are in the area! Great value and a nice place. - Great Price and a good location Everything was fine
- Byron (7/5): Pretty good place to stay overnight. - The location is good and everything that I needed seemed to work fine. It is close to a pretty good restaurant or two and not real far from the interstate. If you can't navigate stairs, you might not like this place because there are steps involved. It isn't fancy, but the weather outside was rainy and cold, so it was nice to be inside. The continental breakfast was minimal, but there are other places to get food there.
- Kris (9/5): Provided a good place for good nights rest. - This is a good value for the money. It is family owned and you can tell they take pride in their business. We didn’t try the breakfast. Tub/shower could be updated but there wasn’t anything wrong with it.
- scott (8/5): Better than other places that charge more. - The room was nice, the price w/pet was great Some places on building still needed updating.
- Keith (8/5): -
- Kenneth (8/5): - Good price. Right off the expressway. Bed too soft for me. Bathroom was tiny.
- Toby (8/5): It was adequate, comfortable, and clean. We would stay there again. - Bathroom was very small but adequate and clean.
- Warner (9/5): Pleasantly surprised at the quality, whimsical - It provided everything we needed for a great price. I would only say the breakfast wasn't super fresh.
- Deirdre (6/5): -
- Goodrich (5/5): -
- Renald (8/5): -
- Martens (8/5): -
- Nathan (8/5): - Have stayed multipe times now. Always convenient, comfortable, and a good value. A bit worn and dated but it is more important to me that it is clean and it ALWAYS is.
- SHOME NATH (9/5): Nice - Nice and Clean
- Billie (9/5): Pleased -
- Kyle (9/5): -
- Connie (9/5): - Beds were comfortable.
- Lori (10/5): Great property, Great staff, Exceptional Value! - Room was a hood size, appeared clean and kept Carpet smelled like smoke a little
- Marlene (9/5): Ok for overnight! Would stay again - Location and the price was good Needs update in bathroom
- Sara (7/5): Queit and good enough to get sleep. - Was fine for one night Was very run down
- Bill (8/5): Better than the last time - improved breakfast. - Quiet & comfortable Coffee in the room (there was none)
- Barbara (8/5): -
- Wolfe (7/5): - The door leading outside had damage at the bottom and you could see daylight. The gap is big enough for critters to get through.
- Todd (10/5): - Good value, good breakfast, friendly people
- Vickie (8/5): -
- Rebecca (7/5): Nice quiet place. A restaurant right next door. Friendly staff - Quiet location. Clean The stairs were difficult to go up with luggage and door right there
- Guest (3/5): Probably won't be back. - Old, needs a whole lot of updates and maintenance. Poor lighting in parking lot, someone tried breaking into my trailer.
- John (6/5): Decent place for the price. - Everything seemed old and worn. Bed was ok. Shower a little weak
- Samantha (9/5): Great value - Close to food. Limited breakfast, but good coffee.
- Guest (7/5): It was fine for the price -
- Daniel (9/5): -
- David (8/5): A good value and I would return - This was a good property that was well situated just off the interstate. Close to other eating establishments and fuel. Room was very well appointed and spotless. However..... There was an odor that seemed to emanate under the sink.counter, almost like animal urine. Turned the air con on for circulation, took care of it while in room. I would suggest a good deodorizing is in order.
- robert (8/5): -
- Kari (9/5): nice facility. it is older but it is clean, hot shower and very comfortable -
- Kyle (2/5): - Only stayed because it was the only option. Wouldn’t do it again…will sleep in my car. Filthy dirty all the way around. We absolutely checked for bed bugs.
- denise (8/5): l would easily choose to stay here again. - The room was clean and comfortable. Convenient to our activities in town. Needs met. Fridge was nice and cold. TV ran well and good selection of veiwing options. While not a problem for me personally, the room was dated and carpet worn if that's important to anyone. The Price of the room makes it worth overlooking small details and imperfections. Breakfast was muffins, coffee and juices. Again, not really a criticism but to be expected at a low cost hotel.
- William (10/5): - Easy check in. Very good restaurant next door.
- Rhonda (10/5): - We had a nice time and the rooms are clean. It was close to the Walmart, coffee house and truck stops. Iron skillet had great breakfast.
- Nelson (8/5): - Very good for a budget hotel.
- Stephen (10/5): - All good.
- Perez (4/5): - We found the best Mexican restaurant in town. There are so many flies and mosquitoes in the room.
- Mark (8/5): -
- Brent L (8/5): -
- Rehage (5/5): -
- James (8/5): -
- Julie (2/5): Filthy hotel! - This hotel was disgusting! There were cigarette holes burned into the mattress pad protector. The mattress pad protector was aged and torn around the edges. There were are so gross yellow stains all over it. Underneath the mattress pad for protector were crumbs of some source. Couldn't tell if it was food crumbs or debris from people's dirty bodies. The room smelled horrible. The bathroom mirror had smears on it from previous occupants. It had not been cleaned. This was the most disgusting hotel room I have been in in a very very long time. We are immediately went back to the front desk and requested a refund. They did give us a refund.
- Aschoff (8/5): Good value - Ok good motel to stay when travelig Ok
- Dennis (7/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay there; with the exception of the poor mattress. - It is very close to Interstate 80 The mattress was VERY POOR. Needs replacing.
- Peihua (8/5): - The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The location is very convenient; many restaurants and gas stations nearby.
- RUSSELL (8/5): - Good
- Penny (8/5): -
- Guest (10/5): Great stay and a very fair price. - The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The fleece blankets were marvelous. The bathrooms are in serious need of grab bars. The high tubs sides and lack of grab bars made it precarious getting in and out for this 80 year old.
- Paul (10/5): - Family-owned. Always clean. Quiet rooms. Most people travel from point to point so no loudness.
- Pamela (7/5): As solo traveler, felt safe and comfortable - Very nice manager, convenient first floor, near car for traveling with dog. Had Direct TV with good selection of premium channels. Good coffee in am A bit dated, fan in bathroom was exceptionally loud, so avoided turning light on in there. AC good, kept cool in 86 degree temperatures but again loud.
- Gene (7/5): Would stay here again for my price through booking.com but not for their telephone price. Not - Breakfast skimpy but adequate. Have to ask for yogurt b/c kept in another room so they didn’t have to have a small fridge. Will allow you one.
- Sergio (10/5): Just a pit stop - This was just a pit stop for us for the night on our way out to Illinois. Plenty of parking, a gas station next door for easy access to top off the tank before hitting the road again. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. A nice continental breakfast was available by 630a, pastries and coffe is a great way to start the day afterwll. A variety of gas stations, restaurants and stores are available within minutes of the hotel, so that is very convenient too.
- Michael (8/5): - The staff was very friendly, the room served it's purpose. And many fast food options close
- Larry (8/5): - Convenient, clean and quiet No handicap rooms
- Diva (9/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Holly (8/5): It was a great stop on a long cross country road trip. - We arrived late, everything was ready for us. The grab and go breakfast was helpful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It smelled like the room had been smoked it. The smell was not very bad, but I noticed it most when I buried my face into the pillow.
- Qin (8/5): - Clean and convenient location. Breakfast is limited.
- Sherry (8/5): Great stay for an overnight stop on a long drive... - Pretty basic room & clean!
- Paul (10/5): - Clean and neat
- Jerry (9/5): -
- Glenn (6/5): - Easy to find, nice location staff was great Bathroom is small, the door was really close to the toilet.
- Eric (10/5): Love it! - Love this place! Very clean!
- Guest (2/5): -
- Yachung (8/5): - Fair price.
- Evelyn (8/5): pleasant - location a bit dated furnishings but comfortable
- Matthew (8/5): - This was a quaint but lovely motel. I spent a single night as I traveled cross country. The gentleman who checked me was able to give me a large room. Check in was easy. The room was large, well decorated, and all of it was functional. The bed was incredibly soft and easy to sleep in. The couch was firm and great for lounging.
The only reason i cant give the Yorkshire full marks is due to the strong smell of cigar smoke in my room. If i had been staying longer than a night, i wouldnt have been able to stay in that lovely room.
Other than that, it was a great stop and the people in York might be the friendliest i met in all of Nebraska. Would definitely stay again!
