• SCOTT (10/5): - We were warmly greeted when we stayed for Rockynats 2024, it was peaceful even though the complex was booked out. Our room was beautifully clean & provided enough amenities for the two of us. The location was brilliant sitting between the Showgrounds & other Rockynat events on the esplanade. This made walking to events very easy. Would stay again!

• Dimitrius (10/5): - Central in Rockhampton, go for jogging along the river early morning, when the bums are still groggy and the chance of rape is to a minimum. Accomodation is just like a little townhouse, everything you need, quiet and convenient. Ideal for a base to explore the beach 35 minutes away, jump on the ferry to Keppel Island, investigate the caves or hike the national park.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Really disappointing!! - Luxury is the key word! Such a let down! Pam was amazing and helpful but televisions didn't work properly. One of the aircons in the room didn't work at all and dust buildup on the fans and vent in bathroom triggers off allergies!

• Brett (6/5): - Room was very dirty, dusty. We all started coughing and sneezing within minutes of getting into the room. The road noise is terrible if you are at the front of the property. Kitchen is so small it does not cater for families who want to cook as the design does not allow for sufficient access. One of the most dirty rooms I have stayed in in years.
• Terry (8/5): Spacious Two Bedroom Apartment - The two bedroom apartment was spacious and had work desks in both bedrooms. The location was good. Reception was very friendly and helpful.

• Grant (10/5): Great place to stay - Great little place to stay, doing lots of things well such as smart TVs so you can watch Stan or Netflix, nice big fridge, spacious room with a small courtyard and the location in Rockhampton is great and it's surprisingly quiet as a location too. The only small criticisms I'd bring up would be the aforementioned fridge was actually quite loud as it was running, and that the sound insulation between the rooms could be a little better, although it wasn't awful at all.

Swimming pool cloudy so not able to swim despite hot weather. 3 horrible plastic coat hangars in room so unable to hang clothes. Web photos nothing like actual place. This motel is on a very busy noisy street as well. Walls between rooms not very soundproof. Would not stay here again..worst accommodation on my travel around Qld trip.

You can walk to the river and town centre from the property- the location is great for that. The room has everything we needed and more. Even has cookware and full size fridge. It’s not very quiet as Bolsover Street can get busy. BBQ area outside is huge and very clean - a bonus if that’s your thing.

As it was 2 mums and their 12 year old daughters she upgraded us to a 3 bed apartment so the girls could have a sleepover and the mums could get a bit of luxury. The apartment was quiet, clean, spacious and had full kitchen facilities. Everything you could need for a few days away. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful. We would definitely stay again.

• Anonymous (8/5): - The rooms are well-appointed, and the prices are extremely reasonable compared to other accommodation available, of similar standard, in Rockhampton. However, being from a remote area, I found the room I stayed in this time next to the road kept me awake with all of the traffic - trucks and trains. Next time, I would ask for a back room. The staff are lovely and friendly and very obliging. The rooms are clean and parking is easy, even for big vehicles. Very central location.

Didn't like - The window shutters didn't work to well so there was a fair bit of morning light in our room. Also, other patrons parked in our car spot, owners advised us to just take another car space instead.

• Pauline (8/5): Handy motel as just off highway - We arrived at the Cityville for an overnight stay in Rockhampton. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. We walked along to the quay area and had a nice refreshing drink at the boathouse. For dinner we went to Malaysia house which is walkable from the apartment. There was some noise from the neighbours but this died down in line with the rules set by motel. There are building works going on nearby but we were up by the time they started.

• cathy (8/5): Highly recommend! - Our hosts were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was very clean and we had all we needed in the kitchen. There was 4 of us so the only thing I would do next time is get an apartment with a second bathroom ( or a 2nd apartment). It wasn’t a huge drama but it would have been handy when we were all trying to get ready to go out. If we’re ever in Rockie again we’d definitely book in to City-ville.
• Peter (6/5): Noise a Problem - I know it’s only temporary, but the noise from an adjacent building site was awful. It started at about 6:30am.... hammering, cement deliveries and a crane. Our hosts were very nice and did all they could to make our stay better.

I had a room that was on the street side and had no noise problems at all. Great place to stay if you are competing at the nearby pool. Was made to feel very welcome during my stay. Highly recommend.

The wifi was unacceptable and we only use it for email and information. The BBQ layout was good and we used it on the first night but it wasn't cleaned the next day so we didn't use it again. My wife felt uncomfortable due to an interaction with a person. Needless to say we would not return to this motel.

This time we booked the Studio Apartment, and found it quite spacious. The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed chatting. All up, an excellent choice when visiting Rockhampton

Everything you could need is in the room. Mini kitchen was well appointed and room was very well cleaned compared to many other similar priced hotels. Very pleasant stay.

The room had an apartment feel, and provided a safe, lit, convenient entry, with ample room for private parking at the motel room door. The bedding was very comfortable and the shower and bathroom were around twice the size of the standard. A private courtyard was a bonus. I was so satisfied with my 2 night stay that I booked another stay within the week, on my return through Rockhampton. Return business is the true indicator of satisfaction! I originally stayed due to the close location to hospital while a family member was in hospital, but returned to stay when traveling through Rockhampton, due to the good experience I'd had. I will definitely stay here again!
