Guest Reviews
- Ajay (10/5): - Very peaceful place
- Allie (10/5): - I didn't want to leave! A totally relaxing and calm space in nature and very close to tiger spotting in the national park. Fantastic staff, lovely food. Just what we needed. Thank you!
- Christina (10/5): Wonderful memories - My dad and I used the Tiger Moon Resort as the base for 4 safaris in the Ranthambore national park and really enjoyed our stay! We will make self-drivers aware that the resort is a bit away from the center. As we had booked a driver that took us from the hotel to the safari, however, we didn’t mind this. In fact, we loved the picturesque setting in a semi-wild garden close to the national park. We also really enjoyed the fact that we could get breakfast at 10:30, ie after coming back from safari. All meals were included, as was water. We did love breakfast; lunch and dinner were a bit spicey for us, but then again, this is India. The hotel has a shop that can be opened if you are interested in souvenirs and we appreciated an opportunity to support local craftswomen. The soft drinks were extra but very reasonably priced. It was too cold to use the pool and we were usually too tired to sit at the bonfire but the amenities at this property are very nice. The only suggestion to the hotel is, we would have would be to serve dinner earlier…when you have to get up at 5, eating at 8 the night before is pretty late. And a tip for other travelers: if you book a safari - whether through the hotel or another provider like we did), make sure you do it at least 4 weeks before the trip and ensure you get a zone between 1 and 5 (best zones being 3 and 4). Overall, it was a marvelous stay and we highly recommend the property.
- juan Carlos (2/5): - Very dirty, blood strains of ny sheets, hotel manager should be working in a farm, no possible to book woth them safaries. Only available for locals due to complicated payment system. This hotel is just for locals. The food was tasty
- Andrew (8/5): Tiger at Tiger Moon - Tucked away this is a great place for a night or two. Go on safari or try to see wildlife from their special roof-top hide (we saw a tiger on the first night) and don't miss the fort, well worth a visit. We walked through the local village and met the locals but I don't thing they see many white people in the village. The staff are very helpful and the food is just simply amazing, three meals a day for us though is a bit much but you just want to try everything.
- amit (2/5): Don’t be fooled - It’s not at all what is shown on website .. not worth even for a day
- Verified traveler (4/5): Mildly Disappointed - The complex was quaint but the facilities were in disrepair. The bathroom sink didn't work so we used the tub faucet. The screens on the windows didn't keep out the lizards. The pool was green and not fit to swim in. On a good note the food good and service staff was excellent.
- Jacob (8/5): - Nice place, great service! Thought I bought with breakfast included. But all meals were included👍 Great help with safari and transport in general!!
- Emma (8/5): Recommended - Clean and comfortable resort although a little out of the way so nothing within walking distance. Very helpful when it came to arranging safaris & transfers
- Zeng (10/5): Peaceful - It's an older resort so don't expect newer appliances. Outside of that I really enjoyed my stay. It's peaceful and away from all the traffic noises. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.
- mahandren (8/5): - Was a little disappointed I did not see any tigers.
- John (10/5): Relaxed country retreat, great for tiger safaris. - Relaxed atmosphere, open air, very friendly and attentive staff, good food.
- Stephen (8/5): Looking for Tigers - We were at Ranthambore to go on tiger safaris, there would be no other reason to go there. The hotel was quite far out of town, so we could not walk to any nearby shopping. The room itself was quite basic, but adequate (no TV for instance). WiFi only in the reception area, but that was OK. Our rate was full board, the food was very good as was the service
- Verified traveler (6/5): so so - not comfort what they are charging room terrif and food charges are very high
