Und nur mit dem Auto erreichbar!

• Petra (9/5): Absolut empfehlenswert - Vorab: die Einrichtung gewinnt keinen Schönheitspreis und während meines Aufenthaltes war die Badeleiter nicht benutzbar, aber das Apartment (G) ist absolut zweckmäßig eingerichtet, es ist sehr sauber, gut aufgeteilt, sogar für eine Familie bei schlechtem Wetter stressfrei nutzbar und es hat eine sehr großzügige Terrasse. Die Matratze im Doppelbett war prima, ich habe vorzüglich geschlafen. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, ich konnte auch komplizierter kochen. Alle Räume sind wohnlich und gemütlich. Es gibt eine unregelmäßige, aber preiswerte Busverbindung nach Willemstad oder zum Knip. (2,5 lokale Dollar) und natürlich die beiden Strände, die zu Fuß gut erreichbar waren. Mir persönlich hat Jeremi besser gefallen, für 9€ gab es ein Sunbed und einen Schirm, die Schnorchelmöglichkeiten waren recht gut, aber nicht überwältigend. Lagun ist ok, deutlich sandiger und ebenso deutlich touristischer. Beim Schnorcheln habe ich im Vergleich weniger gesehen. Ich möchte den Gastgeber nicht unerwähnt lassen, der jederzeit ansprechbar und alle zwei Tage vor Ort gewesen ist, bei meinen kleinen Dummheiten sehr hilfreich war und sich deutlich um das Wohl seiner Gäste und den Zustand der Anlage bemüht hat. Vielen Dank! Ja, die Badeleiter, die wäre es gewesen.

Quase tudo de acordo com o descrito no anuncio. A escada de retorno do mar para a casa, estava e pernace quebrada. Os banheiros poderiam estar mais limpos. O Anfitriao deixa nas lixeiras bolinhas de naftalina, o que causa no primeiro contato, um mal estar nos hospedes. Deve pensar numa maneira melhor de controlar insetos.

The only inconvenience was the mosquitoes. The location is excellent: an 8-minute walk to Lagun Beach and 7 minutes to Jeremi. Great value for money. A gorgeous place to relax in peace and quiet. Here you can swim and sunbathe all day on terras, snorkeling right from the stairs near the apartments! Unforgettable sunsets and dinners with a panoramic view of the sea! Dolphins, pelicans, flying fish, iguanas, a lot of birds... and a sea of flowers in the yard. Everything is arranged with love. We really liked the attitude of the hosts towards us and the desire to make our vacation unforgettable! Єдиною незручністю були комарі. Розташування чудове: 8 хвилин пішки до пляжу Лагуне і 7 хвилин до Джеремі. Співвідношення ціни та якості відмінне. Шикарне місце, щоб відпочити у тиші та спокої. Тут ви можете плавати і засмагати увесь день, снорклінг прямо зі сходів біля апартаментів! Незабутні заходи сонця та вечері з панорамою моря! Дельфіни,пелікани,летучі риби, ігуани,усілякі птахи...і море квітів у дворі. Усе облаштовано з любовью. Дуже сподобалось ставлення до нас з боку господарів та бажання зробити наш відпочинок незабутнім! Дякуємо пані Соні та її сину Шетфорду за теплий прийом.
• jean-louis (7/5): Quelle vue - La vue est spectaculaire. Le stationnement est facile. C'est par contre loin des services, prévoir une auto. Grand appartement, même s'il y a 4 lits, je pense que c'est parfait pour 2. Cuisine bien équipée. L'accès à la mer se fait en sautant de 4 m ou en descendant 2 échelles. Pas fait pour des enfants. Merci très profonde. Il y a la clim mais seulement dans la chambre à coucher. L'appartement est vieillot. Il y a bcp de choses à améliorer. Il y eu peu d' investissement depuis la construction et cela paraît. On peut facilement entendre le voisin du salon mais de la chambre à coucher, aucun son. Somme toute, on a adoré. Si vous acceptez que l'appartement est vieillot et manque d'amour, vous serez très bien.

• zeu ming (10/5): Well located for the great beaches in the west - This apartment is perfect for exploring the many beaches in west Curacao. One could just snorkel off the back of the property; the water was clear and there was plenty of fish. However, we rented a car and also went to other great beaches nearby for snorkelling: Kalki, Grote Knip, Kleine Knip, Forti, Grandi a.k.a. Piskado, Jeremi and Lagun. It is a 25 minute drive to see the flamingos at Jan Kok. There are other highly rated beaches nearby that we did not get to on this trip. The apartment itself was comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective. While there were facilities for basic cooking, we found it easier to take out food from the very reasonably priced Tur Tur Snacks down the road. Our apartment did not have a sea view but there was a terrace we could use. We did, however, sample the luxury of having a sea view balcony when one of those apartments became vacant during our stay. We would highly recommend getting a sea view apartment if it is available. As for the host, I concur with the superlatives that have been used to describe him.
• Nicolai (3/5): Even though we only stayed for one night, the stay was really stressfull and really not what you expect your vacation to - The location itself with the huge balcony is beautiful. We stayed in apartment F. The matrasses are really old and the sheets were dirty. Also there were clear signs of bedbugs on the matresses. We tried to contact the owner as soon as we saw that. He was out of town. When he called us back, he didn't even try to understand what the problem was. He told us, that we couldn't expect a 5 star hotel for 97$ a night. If our expectations were clearly that high, we should stay in a Hilton hotel. The problem was not, as he probably assumed, that the furniture or the kitchenware is old, but that we didn't want to bring the bedbugs back home with us. Nevertheless he offered us to cancel our reservation either for the whole stay or deducting one night if we decided to stay. In the meantime other guest offered us there spare matresses, which were clearly new. Because it was already 9 p.m. and we couldn't fine another place to stay that late we decided to stay one night, sleep on the new matresses and to move the next day. The repayment a few days later went relatively smoothly.

The views from your own private balcony are everything! Its peaceful & serene & you get a magical sunset every single night! Thx for a great stay! Be sure to pack plenty of strong sunscreen bc Curaçao is close to the equator and is hot & humid.
• Elizabeth (9/5): A bit of paradise in beautiful Curacao. - The location was excellent. Wonderful water view with sunsets at night. Close to several great beaches within walking distance. The landlord was always available and very attentive to any concerns. We felt very safe in this friendly neighbourhood. Kitchenette is equipped with basic tools for cooking. The weather was always wonderful. Short bits of rain provided a break from the heat and created a lush countryside. The bed mattress was extremely hard for our old bones. Possibly a gel mattress topper or something similar would help if such a thing is available on the island.

You literally have one foot in the ocean, and with just a small ladder, you can dive straight into a breathtaking coral reef. The apartment is fully equipped and comfortable. The property is perfectly located within walking distance of amazing beaches: Playa Lagun, Playa Jeremi, Kleine Knip, Grote Knip... And the sunsets? Simply mesmerizing! Shadforth is the best host ever—communication is effortless, and he's always there to help with anything you need. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, don’t hesitate—just go! • Benjamin (10/5): Amazing week in Curacao - We stayed at My Dream Apartments for a full week on a family trip that included my wife and I along with our two boys (15 and 12). The apartment had everything we needed, and was a great base for all of our activities. We had an upstairs apartment facing the ocean - the balconies are very large, with a covered part and an open part. The AC in the bedroom made it cool and comfortable at night, there's a fan for the living area, and the wifi worked great when we needed it. The location was great, with a 10-15 minute walk to the Playa Lagun area with the public beach and two restaurants (we loved Discover Lagun and went there almost every day) and also a 15 minute walk the other way to Playa Jeremi (one of our favorites). We had a car and explored more of the island, but even if you didn't you could still spend your time between these two great beaches. Lagun and the Westpunt area were laid back and beautiful, and much more our style than the more resorty areas on the other side of Willemstad. The airport and the city are only a 30-minute drive, and all our outings were within a 20-30 minute drive. Shadforth was a great host, very welcoming, communicative, and helpful - he even invited our family and the other guests to their family New Year's Day celebration with firecrackers, snacks, and drinks. We loved our time here, and if we're able to return to Curacao we will definitely stay again.
• Christian (10/5): PERFECT RETREAT - This is a wonderful place located on the cliffs with direct access to the sea via a staircase (which was, however, under repair, but the owner informed us in advance). The apartment (unit E) was spacious and had a single bedroom that could sleep five, but I would recommend to come here as couple only (and one small child maybe). The kitchen was well equipped with a stove, microwave oven, electric grill/toaster, and a large fridge/DF. I cooked every night, and I missed nothing. The facilities (shower) were clean and spacious. Check-in was very straightforward. I arrived late, but was given detailed instructions by the owner on how to get access to the apartment. He even called me on the day of arrival just to check that everything is OK. Communication was easy via WhatsApp or personally. Within a 15-20min drive you reach the most stunning beaches and lagoons on the island (Playa Kalki, Groote en Kleine Knip, and Santa Martha Bay, which is a gem!). The place is remote, so having your own wheels is absolutely essential. Basic supplies can be filled up in the New California Supermarket 17km away. If you go for beef filet, bluefin tuna, and others, visit Central Supermarket on the outskirts of Willemsburg (30km). Thanks again for making my stay at My Dream Apartments a memorable one! Not the owner‘s fault, but outside temperatures could have been 10 degress less…..

• Shani (10/5): Amazing apartment for snorkling - Amazing Caribbean stay and a joy to be self catering after a long trip of hotel stays. Our apartment had the Mountain View from our living room but we had drinks in the shade facing the sea each day. A short walk to playa Lagun where we snorkelled each day and beered each evening. The food at the beach bar looked amazing but you need to reserve a table or take it away. Our lovely host did everything to make our stay enjoyable down to supermarket shop for fruit, veggies and soya milk as we didn’t have a car. I hadn’t realised before booking but the west coast has the best snorkelling. Take de-fogger. We also caught sight of a pod of dolphins from the apartment on our last day.
• Terry (8/5): Fantastic value right on the water with direct access to snorkel and swim - There were a few small problems but Shadforth was always extremely responsive. All of our past bookings in different condos have always had spices and condiments or just a few more staples. Be prepared, we had to buy spices, and there was barely any salt or sugar which we both ran out of. I'm guessing whatever is normally left by previous guests either gets thrown out or cleaning service takes.

So if you are into going every Night to Dinner in another fancy Place it might be an Issue (though the Island is very small) Inside the rooms it can be a Little noisy (depends on your neighbours, but it’s thinwalled especially in the livingroom Part). I had no Problems with that but just to know…

He personally took care of our transfer, gave us many important recommendations, bought groceries for us, upon arrival at these apartments we had nothing more to worry about. Clean, unique view, functional kitchen (a variety of dishes), barbecue, we had everything for a comfortable stay. One step beyond the threshold of your room - and you are already in the sea, which is only yours. Thank you for a unique vacation, your care and attention. We will gladly repeat this pleasant experience! • Marcelo Luis (10/5): - Inmejorable relación precio-calidad. Los apartamentos tienen una ubicación estratégica por la cercanía a las mejores playas de Curazao. Son cómodos, espaciosos, limpios y muy bien provistos para una cómoda estadía. Estuvimos allí hace un año y medio y regresamos al mismo lugar porque es el mejor en la zona de Lagun. Por la poca diferencia de tarifa, son muy convenientes los apartamentos que tienen vista al mar. Shadfort es un excelente anfitrión, muy atento a cualquier necesidad que pueda surgir y siempre atento para hacer más agradable la estadía. Muy agradecido por todo!
• Janice (1/5): What a Dump! Will Never Stay Here Again. - The wifi is strong. There's a drying rack with clothes pins. Hot water was plentiful, a rare occurrence on Curacao. The refrigerator and freezer worked well. Stayed in room G. The parking area gets overcrowded and people will block you in (see picture attached). The unit was filthy with disgusting stained pillows and a broken bed (notice the bow in the bed and the fraying mattress in the pictures attached). Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and the mattress and box spring very old (perhaps 20+ years). The bathroom door was broken as if someone tried to break it down (see picture attached). There's no outlet in the bathroom. The see-through, sheer curtains gave no privacy and you also get the security parking lot light directly into the bedroom at night. I had to put up beach towels over the windows to provide privacy and darkness for the bedroom. There are no screens on the windows, so you can't open a window to let the heat out without inviting the insects in. The rooms are nonsmoking but the property allows smoking. So if you're trying to relax on the balcony, you get a constant cigarette or marijuana smell wafting around. Even though it's advertised as totally air conditioned, there is A/C in the bedroom only, which leaves the rest of the unit very hot (85 degrees F). There's a big gap at the floor of the entry door, so there were wasps, flies and bees in the room. I had to stuff a towel in the gap to keep the bugs out. The walls are thin, and there's an adjoining door made of hollow core wood to the next-door unit and you could hear everything. Very poor lighting and the fluorescent light in the kitchen was blinking like a strobe light. The kitchenette has a two-burner cooktop, but one burner would spark and short out, an electrical fire hazard. The other burner would take 30 minutes to boil water. If you want a peaceful and clean location, this is not it. There's a party house next to this property that gets rented on the weekend, and it's a constant party with loud music and people screaming.
• Carlos (10/5): Amazing Curacao at My Dream Appartments - Amazing view every morning and the landlord was always ready to help with anything we requested. I was not allowed to stay living there forever.
• Zachary (10/5): Absolute Heaven - Absolutely amazing. This is our third time here and we absolutely love it. You can swim and snorkel right off the sea wall and the owners are great. We will be back.
• Marjan (5/5): Passable - We (couple late 50s) stayed at My Dream Apartments in apartment H, on the top floor facing the ocean. Fairly large apartment having a living area, small kitchen and a big bedroom with 4 beds and an air conditioning that worked fine. Small airflow being able to cool the bedroom only. The apartment is a bit outdated but that did not bother us. Because there are no blinds on the windows, it got quite hot inside, +30°C There were a lot of small mosquitoes inside and we got heavily stung. The TV had a lot of channels to choose from and the wifi worked fine, slow sometimes. The bathroom is big as well, but the fountain is really small though there is room to fit a larger one. The shower is good with unsufficient headroom. There was a big fridge in the kitchen area and it worked well. There is a connecting door to apartment G. That causes a lot of inconvenience but fortunately the neighbors weren't that noisy. We had the impression that the apartment was not really well cleaned when we arrived. Everything seemed to work well in the appartment and the owner is quite helpful. The view from the terrace is nice, and it was comfy sitting outside, although hot. On arrival it was a disappointment to hear from the owner that the ladder to the ocean was broke and that we could not use it. My Dream Apartments is located between a lot of weekend houses. They are only inhabited during the weekend explained the owner. And usually they throw a big party then, like the friday night we stayed there. The loud music was intense. We moved to the bedroom but the music was still audible from there unfortunately. But the most annoying experience was the continuous barking of dogs. Starting from the morning until late in the evening and sometimes at night.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The personal, friendly service from Shadforth and Miss Sonia made our stay special. The location worked for us even without a car as My Dream is situated 8 minutes walk from two nice beaches, one with freshly caught fish available to buy around mid-day, a dive shop and two bars/restaurants. There is also Bon Bimi Chinese takeout and a little drinks shop in the village a few minutes walk away. There are lost of bus stops and buses running to Willemstad and places along the route perhaps every hour, the 3A up to Knip and 7A to West Punt but we didn't actually master the timetable. The Plantation museum is a 1 k walk. You do need to do a big supermarket shop in town before you arrive as local supermarkets are a drive away and very low on fresh fruit and veg. We took a taxi from the cruise ship terminal having arrived by ship and were severely overcharged for a quick supermarket trip and the ride to Lagun, $130 US when it should have been about 8o; the airport is around 60 so be careful. Our host might be able to help. The kitchen worked well for us self-catering with a big fridge freezer. The local restaurants are nothing special so you may as well eat at My Dream and enjoy the sunsets. Local roads are very quiet and well lit if you want to take a stroll and have a drink out. Our apartment had a big bedroom with two doubles (and a single, good for people with kids?) A totally relaxing place. Enjoy the light on the sea, glimpses of jumping tuna and fishing pelicans, the iguanas.
• robin (10/5): - We loved everything about My Dream Apts. Chadwick was very friendly and available should we have any questions or need anything. The location is perfect for a quieter time on the island. It was not possible to watch TV, as it seens reception on almost every channel was not clear or available. But wifi seemed to work great. We will definitely be back!!

• Pascal (10/5): Great stay in Curacao - Great place to stay right in front of the ocean. Close proximity to shore dive sites and some of the best beaches in Curacao. This is our second stay at My Dream Apartments and we plan to return.
• Polina (10/5): Beautiful place - We stayed in this apartment for one week in the end of August, just before our normal( read crazy), stressful, busy live has resumed. Every morning we woke up to a jentle swishing sound of the ocean waves , every night we had a peaceful meal on our balcony, facing the sun slowly coming down to the horizon. Our son, 9 years video game attached boy, spend most of his non-beach time playing with iguana family, graciously allowing us to observe their unhurried sun soaked life. There is beautiful , non- touristy Lagun beach just 2 min drive or 8 min walk from the apartment . We spend hours snorkelling off shore. We saw parrot fish, scorpion fish , turtles, squids, porcupine fish, octopus just to name a few . Special thank you to the apartment owner Sonia. She made us feel as we came to visit our beloved aunt.

• Tabitha (8/5): Amazing View! - Good host, AMAZING VIEW! Really just unbelievable view. Snorkeling was decent right off the balcony (down a ladder). Management is very friendly, accommodating and helpful with suggestions of places to go. Great location away from the city and close to many good snorkeling spots. Must have car! The room could get a bit warm and needs some updating but was nicely done. Would stay here again.
• Stephen (10/5): Nice quiet, small town/countryside location - Great location, away from congested areas of Willemstad. These apartments are located about 10m/30ft above the ocean with jumping/diving possible. There are stairs half way down to the ocean where you can jump from or take the ladder down to the water. There is also a beach, Playa Lagun, walking distance away, (about 1km). Playa Jeremi is even closer, but it is isolated and prone to thefts. Both the beach, and ocean in front of the apts are great for snorkelling. The city bus stop is right in front of the hotel so you can get by without a car. We rented a car on the first and last days to get to/from the airport and cruise ship terminal. Load up with groceries/drinks in town for your stay since there is no large grocery store nearby. Take the bus back into the city for car drop off/pick up if you choose to save money during your stay. We stayed 9 nights and enjoyed a whole week relaxing without the need to drive every day. Our hosts were very friendly and looked after all of our requests.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic view - The room is faced to the amazing sea sight. We can enjoy swimming and fishing just across our room. And also there are some very beautiful beaches within 10 minutes by car.
• Mark (10/5): Awesome view/access - Great place to stay! This place is perfect for people who aren't interested in resorts and/or looking for a good deal.If you want to be in the city or among other people, look elsewhere. But if you want a pretty secluded experience with an awesome view and direct access to the ocean and snorkeling, this is great. It would be great for a small family or a couple looking for autonomy, with a full kitchen available. This is very close to all the best snorkeling/outdoor adventures in the island. From the apartments, you can make a (long) snorkel over to one of the best snorkeling bays (Lagun). We stayed in three places on the island and this was by far the best. At night we had wine on our porch and watched the sunset, and woke up early the next morning by jumping in the ocean and snorkeling. I would recommend upgrading to ocean view, though you can also just walk to the picnic tables over looking the water. This is not a luxury apartment obviously, go to a resort for that. This is an comfortable apartment for those that prioritize views, access, autonomy, and seclusion over hokey resorts. Also, you are far from any substantial stores here, so buy food before leaving Willemstad. There are tourist oriented restaurants in walking distance. Overall, highly recommend and I would love to come back.
