- Berthold (8/5): - Sehr schönes Ambiente im Frühstücksraum. Hotel in sehr modernem Stil gebaut und eingerichtet. Direkt im Zentrum, aber trotzdem mit ausreichend kostenlosen Parkplätzen.

- Tammy (3/5): Stayed 2 nites, ended horribly. - Clean I fell on the uneven sidewalk outside Lobby, a nice man NIT affiliated with hotel came to my side & also went inside to express to Lobby assistant for assistance; Not one employee from hotel came to help me. When I finally got up from ground with help from family & strangers I went inside Lobby hobbling to elevator. Nobody from this hotel looked my way or asked about me! That to me cancelled out any goodness I thought of this establishment. Very Bad Customer Service. 😟

We weren't given information on the breakfast. We had an early day, and went down around 0600 in hopes of at least coffee. Nothing was available. Maybe it's later on a weekend and we were just too early, but weren't aware of the hours. Would stay again.

With this being a Hilton property you would expect in room coffee makers, microwaves and free WiFi (only if you sign up for Hilton Rewards). Not the case. This is one of the 3 hotels we stayed at during our trip and it was the most expensive and did not the amenities of the other less expensive hotels. Very disappointing.

- Brenda (6/5): - Room was cavernous as was the bathroom. Electrical outlets near the bed were covered by objects which had to be moved for electrical items we needed to plug in. The television was small but large enough to take up the dresser space. The room abounded with hard surfaces which made it appear to be ADA compliant for a wheelchair, but had a step in shower. Shower curtain was short and allowed water onto the floor creating a slippery situation. This room appeared to maybe having previously been an apartment of some kind. The breakfast was lacking but adequate for our two mornings. At the price point, the room and hotel was okay, but not as welcoming as other places we stayed on our trip. Spark is not a brand I will seek out in the future.

Why would they remove the bar? Breakfast was a joke, nothing even hot, no eggs or anything. “Fitness Center” is a closet with a machine and a few dumbbells.

- Victoria (6/5): Not Ready - We booked a stay at the Hotel Artesia which at the time of booking was a boutique hotel. When we arrived it had been transformed into a Spark by Hilton. All the rooms and lobby had been renovated. The good: checkin was fine and the desk Clerk, Santana, was extremely friendly and helpful. Lobby was very fresh and new, room was very clean, fresh and new. Everything looks and smells brand new. Spacious lobby, halls and room. Very quiet. The bad: several things still need some work. The room which is two double beds so you assume at least two people are staying in it, has ONE chair and it's a metal patio chair. The TV never worked the whole time we were there even though we asked to have it fixed. The shower works but the tub faucet doesn't. The free breakfast is pitiful, almost nothing there. My advice, don't stay here until they get the kinks worked out. Photos added of the lobby and the breakfast bar.

- Ciara (7/5): It was OK, but you could hear the traffic on the main street - The property was recently remodeled. They took away the bar, which was the only reason we stay there! When you paint the place, you need to clean up all the paint splatter from the floor and the wall. And the see had a tag still on it that didn’t look very professional.! Breakfast was muffins bagels and cereal. I believe that’s Continental breakfast! They did away with the bar, which was nice and late evening!

The location was perfect for us since it was really close to restaurants and the location we had to be at for the next days. The only thing I did not like was their coffee it didn't have many choices.

Love this place and the people. - My daughter and I were traveling back to her home in Ruidoso on 6/7/24 when we drove into the madness and chaos of the forest fires in that town. Once we got close we were turned away and told to evacuate. We immediately went to Roswell and started looking for a hotel they were disappearing like crazy and my daughter found Artesia which was about 45 min for us we went online and found this hotel we tried to book online and it didnt confirm of course because everything was getting booked so fast. We drove over late and the lady that helped us was so kind and generous. We had our dogs and they let us bring them in, didnt charge us. Then when we saw the hotel and how nice it was we were so thankful and appreciative. We heard them continue to work all night helping evacuees. I cannot say enough good words for this hotel and I will recommend it to everyone and plan to go back to just for a relaxing weekend one day. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!!! No complaints everything was beautiful and perfect.

I understand that having a hot breakfast adds complexity, but the hotel could at least serve hard-boiled eggs or other protein as well as some actual fresh fruit, not just oranges that were picked so green, so long ago, that they are nearly impossible to peel, and apples that are way past their prime. This is June and there are many possibilities - strawberries, cherries, and melons, among others.

- Igor (1/5): Bad - The staff was very friendly The hotel is clean and very affordable BUT it is across the street of a Huge Fuel distilling factory and therefore there is NO fresh air, actually there is No air at all. We came for a night, have been there 2 hours and left, as we COULDN'T breathe.
- Chockalingam (9/5): Superb - Stay was very pleasant, and staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast menu was very limited.
- V (7/5): Good - It was a little close to the refinery and could smell it. No fault of the hotel.

- Eric (10/5): Exceptional - My review isn't based on a 5 star resort expectation. Rather, it is based on what could be hoped for by an average traveler. In that regard Hotel Artesia was excellent. Food was like home, it was clean, comfortable and had convenient, clean laundry capability and ice. Nice, caring, and capable staff capped it all off. It was the best we had on our 10 day road trip.

- Garza (9/5): Very good. - Location was excellent. Breakfast was a little sparse but good. Need more trash cans. We got some fumes from the gas plant on the first day but there is nothing that can be done about that. Staff being so accommodating made up for it.
- Antonio (8/5): Very good - The location was great. Rooms were nice. There were dirty socks in our room, upon arrival. We just threw them away. Breakfast was so so.
- Jessica (7/5): Good - Little pricey for the amenities offered but nice staff and good location.
- Yi (7/5): Good - Quiet, location, friendly stuff Breakfast The strong air freshener smell in the room
- Terri (6/5): It was okay, not the best we've had there. We were given a room on the first floor and there was a lot of noise. - It's attractive and very clean. The beds were not comfortable. The noise from the highway was too loud.
