Guest Reviews
- Jared (10/5): - We loved it.
- matiullah (10/5): - I can not express How this hotel was clean , perfect place to stay there , very professional staff especially Aileen .
- John (10/5): - The room was easy to accessand self serv checkin was wonderful!
- Jian (10/5): - A cozy place in a cozy little village
- Margo (10/5): - Amazingly comfortable bed!
- Michael (10/5): - Off the grid well kept historic inn. It’s located in a valley with bumpy roads in a former mining run down town that has one restaurant/bar within walking distance.
- Alene (10/5): - Cute little town, great hotel
- lisa (10/5): Hidden Gem! - Great stay! Clean, comfy, updated, friendly staff. Exceeded our expectations - will definitely stay again!
- Marie (10/5): - A beautiful historic hotel in a charming town where the people are so nice & the surrounding scenery is just gorgeous!
- Caralee (10/5): - Coming in to town we weren’t sure what we were getting into but once there we quickly fell in love with the quaint surroundings. The room was clean with a retro vibe, yet had modern conveniences. Cell service is non existent, however, they had wifi. The bed was very comfortable and not beat down with usage. I would definitely stay here again.
- Virginia (8/5): - Very accommodating Nice comfortable bed
No ice machine Only one restaurant in town but good food
- Barb (10/5): - Facility and employees were great. Our upstair neighbors not as quiet, but that happens.
- Brett (10/5): - The Inn itself was beautiful and immaculately cleaned. The town is quaint with no cell service but the community is friendly. Only issue we had was one of our after hours room codes didn’t work but upon connecting to WiFi to get a text sent the staff quickly came back to the inn to correct the issue.
- Jodi (10/5): Loved our stay - Great location for offroading vehicles! Ample trailer parking right across the street. Cute hotel in the mountains. Pet friendly which was great.
- John (10/5): - The room was beautiful, with a mountain cabin atmosphere.
- Mary (10/5): - The room was cozy and clean, and the inn is in a beautiful setting. My stay exceeded all expectations!
- Bundy (10/5): Great place to stay! - The inn is super! Great little restaurant across the street too. Minturn isn't too far for more restaurants as well. Very friendly and welcoming staff/owner.
- Donald (10/5): A hidden gem, but not for long - I absolutely loved this city and hotel. I have driven by it many times on previous trips, but this was my first time staying there. Vail prices are through the roof and their prices were very reasonable. There is a local bar and grill across the street that serves great food. We even walked along the abandoned railroad tracks through town and got some great pictures of the iconic bridge. The staff was nice and I look forward to staying there again.
- WENG (10/5): - I was drawn here by the iconic green bridge. The rooms are clean, and the shower has strong pressure with plenty of hot water. I really like the keyless entry with an access code, no need to worry about misplacing a key.
The small town of Red Cliff is nestled high up in the mountains, with friendly locals and close proximity to the tourist town of Vail. The only restaurant in town, Mango Grill, serves delicious food and is definitely worth a visit.
- Jeb (10/5): - Very comfortable
- Mark (8/5): - We arrived later than expected so no check in. Had talked to someone earlier in the day to get the room code. On arrival after a long day of driving, we were happy to see such a nice comfortable room with the lights already on! This is a beautiful historic hotel and our room was perfect. The only glitch was that no one opened the attached store at 8 AM the next morning as posted. Had hoped to grab a quick bite for breakfast- waited until 9 AM but still no one. Had to get on the road, so we just left. Would have been nice to meet someone.
- Spencer (10/5): - Amazing property tucked away in Red Cliff.
- Michael (10/5): - Very well kept and clean rooms. Bed very comfortable. Only suggestion we had, lobby didn’t open until 8:00am, not the ideal time for early travelers needing a cup of coffee. ( there is coffee in the room) Otherwise we will be back!
- Alice (10/5): - Great stay
- Cheryl (10/5): - Very cute, clean and worth the short drive up the mountain. An unexpected jewel. Beautiful scenery and a great dinner at Mango's too.
- Richard (10/5): - large room, great accessible bathroom
- mary (8/5): - Wish we had access to ice machine, which was inoperable during our stay.
- T (2/5): - We were booked from May 22-25. When we arrived, there was no staff. There was a sign that said they were closed from May 2-June 6 and that an access code was emailed (We never received an access code). They also had a QRC code posted on how to access our room, but because the area was very secluded, we had no wifi or phone service. We actually had to drive out about 15-20 out to the nearest town to get any service. We decided not to stay here and ended up at Black Hawk. Luckily, Expedia took care of us. Can’t comment on the actual hotel cause we weren’t able to go in, but if you plan to stay here, be aware this area is not much of a tourist spot. There was a restaurant and post office across the street. Down the road is mostly residential and a dilapidated Town Hall. Nothing special.
- jim (2/5): Hotel closed no sdrvice - Hotel not open. No staff. No food. No front desk. No supplies. Only people in hotel. Hotels should not allow this hotel to rent room and be closed. I feel ripped off with my stay. Only knew of closer 2 hours before checking in. Emailed hotel after there email and got no return answers. They did not answer phone or return calls.
- Nick (10/5): Thank you Joey - Joey was super helpful and on top of everything, making sure I was aware when my room was ready, that there was no phone service, and how to get in after the lobby closed, which probably saved me a ton of headache. Room was clean and bed was comfy, with a good price.
- Terry (10/5): - THe staff was very helpful and friendly!
- Terry (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff!
- Amy (10/5): - The Green Bridge Inn is an absolute Gem. Stayed for three nights in mid March 2025. The facility, staff and area were fantastic. The room was large, extremely clean and well appointed. The staff was communicative and helpful. The area was quaint but had all of the creature comforts. We stayed for skiing in the area and the commute was easy and beautiful. I would definitely stay again and will if I head back that way.
- Chanda (10/5): - Staff was friendly and loved how cute the rooms are.
- JEFF REY (10/5): - We stayed here for our winter trip in Colorado and I am so glad I chose this Hotel for our accommodation in the Avon / Vail area. It is only about a 20-25 minute drive from the bigger towns but provides a peaceful retreat in the Red Cliff area! Lady at the front desk was very friendly and efficient with the quick check in! I
The drive to this spot is very beautiful! Right by the red cliffs and green bridge (hence the hotel name). Views from our hotel room were beautiful and the room was squeaky clean! The bathrooms were exquisitely designed and spotless! It was a memorable and relaxing stay for us. Thank you!
- Jillian (10/5): - Great quiet stay in the mountains. Thank you!
- Terry (10/5): - Beautiful spot in the Rockies. Off the beaten pass and a perfect little quiet town to enjoy the Rocky Mountains!
- Veronica (10/5): - Very beautiful area quaint. Room was very cute
- Jason (2/5): - As my wife and group were arriving to the inn we were caught up in a very bad snowstorm. We not from Colorado. We’re from Texas. Drove from Denver to there. As we’re approaching 40 minutes away from the place. There were multiple car accidents ahead and we slid off the road into sideway. Stranded we had no other transportation to get to the inn and no one around Leadville were accessible to drive us to the inn and especially in that weather. We called the inn before checkin time was over but no one replied. Had to dispute with Expedia to get a refund and they denied and try to compensate with credit… All that stress and they were definitely not understanding nor compassionate. Definitely won’t be ever picking this location again.
- Michael (10/5): - Accommodations were perfect. Staff very helpful and friendly. Mango’s mountain grill is across the street. Good food and great friendly staff.
- James (4/5): No hot water; no response from management. - We booked the Green Bridge for a couple of days skiing. We were *extremely* disappointed to find that after a long day of skiing that there was *NO HOT WATER*. The office/front desk was closed and we didn't think it was an emergency. The next morning we tried again and still no hot water. The front desk guy said this had happened before and they would have moved us to a different room and he'd let the manger know.
Well, we never heard back from the manager based on talking to the front desk nor after emailing the following day.
So, if you don't mind rolling the dice on your showering, go for it.
I can't recommend the Green Bridge and their utter lack of service and response is disappointing.
- Adam (10/5): - Great place to stay for a weekend ski trip in close enough proximity to Vail. Very nice room and good value!
- John (10/5): - The people working there and in the area were very friendly and helpful. Joe was very informative and gave us some good ideas about coming back over the summer. Excellent place and excellent people.
- Heath (10/5): - Really enjoyed our stay
- Laura (10/5): - So cute and chill!
- Joseph (10/5): Great hotel, clean in very small town. - Comfort, cleanliness of room was excellent. Hotel is isolated so virtually nothing around this very small town. Great for the value.
- Roy (10/5): - This was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in!!! And I'm a Marriott Platinum Elite status. Love this hotel!!
- Todd (10/5): - Quaint and cute and nostalgic
- Bethany (10/5): A Hidden Gem - Free shuttle to Vail! Affordable, clean comfy and not crowded. Restaurant across the street was really good. Recommend.
- Justine (10/5): - We loved this little place! So cute and close to the mountains. Perfect for a weekend of skiing.
- James (10/5): - Great staff. Clean and quiet rooms.
- Sandra (10/5): Great Place To Stay - This Inn is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and worth the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Jennifer (10/5): Couldn’t be happier. - This hotel seemed newly renovated. Much nicer than we expected for the price and squeaky clean. Hotels.com said it was 10 miles from Beaver Creek but it was 10 miles from I-70 on a windy road in a tiny town with no cell service and one restaurant- about 30 minutes from Beaver Creek. Overall, we were very happy despite the longer distance because it’s a lovely drive, unique town, and a great hotel. Mango’s (in town) had great food and Minturn up the road has lots of options too. Unbelievable price compared to staying closer to the ski resorts.
- Brady (10/5): - Beautiful location and wonderful staff
- Benjamin (10/5): - Nice self made breakfast options
- Piotr (10/5): - Great quiet place with clean rooms, would be nice for the lobby to open earlier for breakfast
- Mandi (10/5): Great cozy stay in the small town of Red Cliff - Great spot in between skiing in Vail/Beaver Creek & the cute city of Leadville. We enjoyed our stay and the room was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
- Sarah (8/5): - Water took quite awhile to warm up. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.
- JOSHUA (10/5): Great Cozy Stay - We had an excellent stay here. It’s a very comfortable, clean spot a little ways off the beaten path. My only criticism is that I couldn’t turn on the bathroom light without having the room light on. A bit odd, but nothing unmanageable.
- Scott (10/5): - Beautiful spot near skiing!
- Luis (8/5): - Although the place and the building are beautiful , the elevator us out of order and the reception was closed at 2:30 pm
- Mariana (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Eric (10/5): - We reached at the property late and we were provided with proper instructions on late check in. The code didnot match but we called them and they were responsive and fixed the issue. Only issue is there is no cellular network and wifi was not working at night.
- David (10/5): - I received more than I thought for last minute xmas holiday inside ski resort triangle. Thanks
- MICHELLE (8/5): Cozy place! - The hotel room was clean and has a nice view of the cute town. The bed was comfortable and had warm blankets. The only thing we were disappointed about was that the internet went out at 10 pm and we could not finish our movie or communicate with anyone via text.
- ALEJANDRA (10/5): - The Inn is placed in a little Village or at least looks like it, very charming and welcoming. Rooms are comfortables and clean, no weird smells at all. Bathroom super clean and spacious and they provide enough toiletries and towels. WiFi is not the best but the place is. Help desk was sooo amazingly friendly! I forgot to ask his name but he was awesome! Went December 21, 2024 and will be back for sure!
- Marianela (10/5): - We loved this hotel and the town is beautiful we really recommended
- Jess (10/5): - Super cute and affordable place to stay between Beaver Creek and Vail. Staff was great. Place was clean. Only downside is there really is one restaurant in town. Need to drive at least 15 minutes to get to Minturn where there are more options.
- Eloy (10/5): - This place is so cozy and simple. Very quiet and a beautiful town just off the main highway. I'm definitely coming back to stay here.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Amazing little hotel off the grid. It was so nice for a quick weekend getaway. The town was quit n the valley of a mountain. We loved hearing the history of the town. Front desk was great! Beds and rooms were excellent and clean. We will be back!!
- Perla (2/5): - This property was nothing like described, we got there and there was no signal. The front office closed at 6pm and the only “security” they offered was an emergency phone. The door didn’t close properly so anyone could come in if they wanted to. We originally planned to stay for 5 days but we didn’t even make it through the first night before finding somewhere else to stay. Expedia definitely does not have an accurate description.
- Micah (10/5): - Exceptionally clean room! Staff clearly takes care to make sure everything is very neat and tidy. We would stay here again!
- Thomas (10/5): Cute place. - A little disappointed to find out the only restaurant near by was closed the night of our stay so had to drive 10 miles to get dinner plus the cable tv would not work (a Direct TV issue).
- MANSUR (10/5): - Staff were excellent, especially the guy at the reciption.
Clean place and good price.
- Scott (10/5): - Great little hotel in a little mountain town off the beaten path. I like the key code entry. The restaurant across the street served a delicious hamburger.
- Jessica (10/5): - I loved the location! Very quiet area, the room size was perfect & the bathroom was HUGE!
The only thing I can even think to complain about was that the water in the shower didnt get as hot as the sink water.
- Christie (10/5): - Beautiful hotel. Room was very nice with real wood furniture, flooring, and walls. Bathroom was very pretty and clean. The town of Red Cliff isn’t much to write about. Very, very small but close to other towns with more dining and entertainment options. Overall, I would stay here again.
- Joe (10/5): - Great stay! Comfortable bedding. Clean bathroom. Check in was a breeze.
Joey did a great job at the front desk.
- James (2/5): - No cold water. You had to let the cold water in the shower run for ten minutes and it would cool off enough to shower. But twice while showering I had to move because the water got too hot again. My wife has a broken foot and has to use a shower chair. She couldn’t shower because she couldn’t move fast enough when the water turns hot. I’ve never experienced this before and the staff seemed to not care about my concerns.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Booked this room last minute and boy was it worth it!!! Quiet mountain town lodge with a restaurant across the street to die for(Mango’s).
- cory (10/5): - Quaint and very comfortable. Will be visiting here again, for sure!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great find - Great find! A little out of the way but worth it. Very quiet here at this time of year. Would definitely stay again if in the area
- Robert (10/5): - WHAT A GEM !! A clean, quiet hotel in an old mining town tucked awat in the mountains. A MUST SYAY if you're ever in the area. The staff was relatable and friendly.
- Robert (8/5): - Very comfortable and had everything we needed, but was very expensive for being so far from Vail and the a/c didn't work.
- James V (10/5): - Hotel staff were great, rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the town is super cool. Loved it!
- Scott M (2/5): Don't stay here - I was scheduled to stay on a Sunday night; however, when I landed in Denver, I learned that a snow storm had shut I70 down. The hotel called me to let me know about this, so I explained to them that I'd just prefer to stay in Denver and not risk sleeping in my car to get to them. They told me they wouldn't refund my money.
Ultimately, I had to charge back the stay through Chase. If that doesn't work, I will have to sue them to get my $227. What a place that won't even refund your money if you can't get to them. Take a note. Don't work with hotels.com or prepay ever.
- John (10/5): Great off the beaten path getaway - The staff is outstanding and rooms were clean, comfortable and good sized. Great spot to safe a little on a ski vacation. Little mini mart and liquor store attached as well. Beautiful drive.
- Luis (10/5): - Amazing
- william (8/5): - Lovely inn located in a very unique town. Room was great. Bed was good but pillows were not so good. TV didn't work or we couldn't figure it out. We will come back when in the area.
- Elijah (10/5): - I like the cleanliness of the rooms. Very nice staff
- Aaron (10/5): - Just a short drive removed from the hustle and bustle of Vail in Red Cliff is where you’ll find this gem of a hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was super clean and had a good shower and good heat. Number one thing I’ll say is that it was quiet and peaceful. You could hear a pin drop outside my hotel room and you were nestled right in between the mountains. I will return someday hopefully!
- Christine (10/5): - The property is remote, but it’s great. Well kept up, perfect for us for skiing. Clean.
- Jacob (10/5): - Great place, loved our stay and coming back in March and summer.
- Jose (10/5): - Quiet and beautiful place … very nice hotel in a very small town (just 270 people)
- Ferenc (10/5): - The Inn is located in Red Cliff, surrounded by mountains. About 20-25 min from Vail and Beaver Creek. Great staff, absolutely loved the small town feeling, hospitality.
Not much to do in town. Very affordable if looking to ski Vail, Beaver Creek or other Summit County resorts.
- James (10/5): - Exactly what I wanted. Quaint and quiet. Just a little out of the way but a nice drive. Wonderful staff and very clean room. Instant hot shower water with a shower head higher than 6ft! Worth the short drive from Vail.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Charming and clean - Cute and clean. Will come back.
- Sergio (10/5): - Beautiful nice spot to stay.
- Stacey (10/5): - Everything was great. Thanks- we will be back!
- Josh (8/5): - Clean, perfectly fine place to flop if you're skiing in the area. WiFi is spotty. Dining is almost non-existent. Amenities are limited to the liquor store and mini-mart in the hotel. That said, the room is nicer than can be found elsewhere within 30 minutes of Vail I'd stay again whenever I want to save money.
