- Teresa (10/5): We found a new location, it's like a diamond in the rough! Wonderful location to stay. - This was the first time a saw a paper towel holder in a hotel room, that was a blessing because we did need them. The entire room was comfortable and relaxing. I wish we got to stay longer but we know where to stay next time were in town. I can not give a bad review, we have a wonderful time. Thank you again for giving us the relaxation we needed. Have a wonderful day.
- Rosemary (8/5): -
- Julie (9/5): Pretty good -
- Paco609 (10/5): Surprised - Room was very clean, and what was nice ...they text you your room number, and more info. And avoid going to the main office, person at the desk was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.🙂
- KAREN (7/5): Good value, easy check in, comfortable and clean beds, but could use some elbow grease and updates. - Great value. Very comfortable and clean beds and bedding. Easy check in and entry in to the room due to the code being sent to my phone. Everything (lights, tv, locks) worked well. Carpet was not clean and torn. Repaired but unpainted areas on the walls. Some unclean areas (grease on the shower curtain, wall behind bathroom door was dirty, dirt in the corners of the floor).
- Marvin&Rhonda Green (10/5): - We always stay here while visiting family in Belton and KC
- Lowell (9/5): We enjoyed our stay - The location was just right for our overnight stay. The staff was outstanding and friendly.
- Astrid (8/5): - Plenty of hot water and nice comfortable bed.
- Julie (8/5): Effective room - Was a quick overnight stop with simple access back on highway. Nothing elaborate to the rooms but was a clean place to stop and rest. Beds were comfortable.
- K6807MDmichelleg (8/5): Surprisingly clean and comfy for the price - Slumber Inn was an affordable option when I needed to travel to the Kansas City area for a memorial service. It was easy to access, with a well-lit exterior for safety (a bonus for a woman traveling alone), and check-in/check-out was done electronically which made it super convenient. For a budget motel I was genuinely surprised at how clean and well-ordered the room and the outside were. It is located across from a truck stop so it's not super quiet. Another item that hindered the quietness was the HVAC unit but it was tolerable. When I arrived the fridge had deli meat and cheese in it. As soon as I informed the front desk, they were very gracious and someone came right away to remove the items and apologized for the inconvenience. The room was spacious with a mini-fridge, small sofa, coffee table, desk and chair. I would definitely stay here again. The Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn could take some lessons from these folks.
- John (3/5): It was not what we expected when we booked the rooms. - Our friends' room was much cleaner than ours. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. While our friends' room was pretty clean, our room was quite awful. The door inside was very dirty, and the heater vents, etc. were filthy. The sink area was fairly clean but the separate toilet room and shower area was very dirty, The tub and the floor both needed a good cleaning. One of the pillows on one of the queen beds was ripped open with the stuffing showing and there appeared to be shrimp tails on the carpet between the bed and the nightstand. Not indicative of the pictures shown online at all so very disappointing!
- S19ZImiker (10/5): Very nice experience - We were in town to attend a wedding in Archie. This motel was conveniently located. Normally we would stay at one of the more well known hotel chains. We were pleasantly surprised with this place. Very clean, modern furnishings, comfortable bedding. We'll definitely keep this place in mind on future travels.
- Jim (8/5): Nice stay. - No breakfast as far as I know. My friends said they could not close the light suppression curtains in room 117.
- Mary (8/5): Quick and easy check in. Decently clean. Ac worked, water hot, good water pressure! Bedding clean! - The shower was nice and hot great water pressure. And it was quiet! The air was off when we got in the room. It smelled a little like smoke(was told all rooms are non smoking) but when I turned the air on the smell did go away. So i feel like it just needed some moving air.
- Cynthia (10/5): - This was a surprisingly nice little motel. The room appeared to have been recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable and despite being across the street from a truck stop it was pretty quiet.
- Mari (10/5): Great for the money - Bed was super comfortable. Clean towels and beds made daily. Great value.
- Amanda (10/5): - They have a check in process where you are texted your room number and room code in advance, making it fast and easy to get in. You also check out the same way
- Camper13696667150 (8/5): Hidden gem - This is definitely a "can't judge a book by its cover" motel. When we pulled up I wondered if I'd booked the right place. Turned out, it was a perfectly lovely place to stay. Fridge, microwave, large flat-screen TV, desk w/ desk chair, padded bench, dresser, king size bed, comfy small sofa (I think sofa bed) and coffee table. Altho the bed could use a new mattress, it was still plenty comfortable even with my achy back. There were a couple minor maintenance issues, wonky toilet paper holder, etc., but nothing that was a deal-breaker. You check in and out online, but when I did need assistance, the young man was most pleasant and helpful. The one *not good* thing is that it is noisy, really nice truck stop across the street, but noisy. However...the room AC/heat unit was fantastic - had a strong fan, which I kept on all night, barely heard a thing. And you could feel the air blowing halfway across the room. (perfectly suited my sleeping preference). Check out time was 11, so it allowed for a leisurely morning. Although the motel didn't have any kind of food service, the truck stop across the street had Apple Barrel Restaurant, Dunkin Donuts and Lucille's Chicken, so plenty of options.
- David (8/5): - Its an older property but has been nicely upgraded
The bed was so so…not great but not awful…had strange hard edges.
For the price it was a nice stay.
- Thomas (10/5): - Room is very basic but clean. Self check in was easy and staff was friendly. Property is older but perfect for a quick stop overnight
- Frankie (10/5): - Easy and convenient to get to. Easy access to rooms with front door parking. And the staff went above and beyond and were so unbelievably kind.
- Jacob (10/5): - After driving 13 hours it was convenient and check in was fast so I could catch some sleep and get back on the road. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. If traveling this easy I’d stay again.
- Robert (10/5): - Easy off the interstate, quiet area.
- Robert (10/5): Excellent stay - Room was very clean and really nice. I would definitely stay here again
- Bradley (10/5): - No dislikes! All was good for the money. I would go there again. Thanks
- Diane (10/5): - .
- Ronda (10/5): - I feel like people should know that this is self check-in and not to reserve on one card intending to pay with another when you get there this happened to me. I was very pleased with the accommodations the room was very clean and quiet. Considering the location I felt very safe. I would definitely recommend for a quick stay
- Randall (10/5): - Easy check-in. Staff is very friendly and helpful and professional
- Michele (10/5): - It was a decent little motel for the price. Check in was super easy. The bathroom floor was kind of dirty and sticky. The refrigerator didn't work at all. We just needed a place to sleep and it was cheap.
- Christina (8/5): - Kinda noisy from outside traffic
Housekeeping was a little challenging but overall the stay great
- Mike (8/5): - Rooms were very nice and clean. Was quiet and felt very safe. Only complaint would be the floors are not carpeted, and they need to be mopped. I got out of shower and by the time i got to the bed my feet were covered in filth. Next morning wife found a yellow stain on pillowcase. I would stay again.
- Marsha (8/5): - The room was clean but they spray heavy room deodorants in the room we had to open the window all night in order to breathe.
- George (10/5): - This is a well maintained, older style motor lodge. Despite it's age, it's well maintained, the room was clean, no musty smell, great water pressure, quiet and all the amenities worked.
Front desk was friendly and helpful.
Park right at your door is very convenient.
For the rate offered, this is an exceptional value!
- Christopher (8/5): - Clean rooms and friendly staff.
- Sheri (10/5): - Very Good!
- Trinity (10/5): - Check in and out was easy. Good, quiet location. Blackout curtains helped make room nice and dark at night. There was two gas stations and a couple restaurants in walkable distance. Room was in great condition. Would stay here again.
- Lisa (10/5): Great break from under performing chain hotels - An older but well maintained and impeccably clean motor lodge.
- Bruce (10/5): - Great water pressure and good and hot. Bed very comfortable.
- Katherine (10/5): - Clean and modern gem for a great price
- William (10/5): - Easy check in and check out. Staff was very friendly rooms were very clean. Would highly recommend this place.
- Chad (10/5): Hidden gem - I honestly didn't expect much. It was cheap and close to family. But man was i surprised! Great little hotel! Very clean, comfortable, newrt furniture which was in great shape. If you are looking for a good place to stay i highly recommend it!
- Nenghue (10/5): - Great motel for decent price
- Sandra (10/5): A hidden gem 💎 - I had the most pleasant stay ☺ the room was very nice and clean and everyone were very friendly and professional. I will definitely stay there again ♡
- MD (10/5): - Amazing little stop in the road, we were traveling with my 2yo granddaughter, and their no hassle mobile check in was convenient. They even offered and extended check out with our late check in, the extra 4hours really helped. Also super quiet place, there is a truck stop and travel center very close, but you don't hear any of it. Perfect for my little traveler's rest, will pick again on my next pass through.
- Rose (10/5): - Loved the security system. made us feel at ease, with it being right off the hwy and across from truck stop. Room was clean floor not so much. No carpet.
- Teresa (8/5): - It was a very comfortable place to stay. I will put on my list for the future.
- MD (10/5): - Very friendly and very nice for the price, dogo friendly
- arvin (10/5): - A charming and proficient clerk
- Laurie (10/5): Nice, clean budget priced motel - Efficient check in, clean room, parking right outside my door.
Great place to rest my head for one night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Road trip stop - Very clean & basic accommodations for a one night over night stay on road trip south.
It is across from a Sapp brothers truck stop, with a cafe and Dunkin donuts. The cafe closed earlier than online hours due to being short staffed. Be ready to check in and check out via Smart phone.
- terrance (10/5): - very clean and a comfortable bed. easy access to freeway.
- Mona (10/5): - Easy check in and out. Room very clean, close to gas stations and they offer laundry facilities.
- Michelle (6/5): Safe, but less than ideal. - Room had trash under furniture. The floors had not been vacuumed, I found nail clippings by my bed.
- Mona (10/5): - Easy off the highway, nice room, check in so easy, nice staff
- Becca (6/5): - The pictures didn’t match the property. I wasn’t fond of the Cinder Block Walls. Gave the rooms a prison feel. But everything was very clean and easy check in
- GAYLA (8/5): - Giid olace to stay when passing through. Good continental breakfast.
- Denise (10/5): - I was pleasantly impressed with this property. The staff was very accommodating, the property clean and quiet.
I was in Missouri for personal business in Holden. As Holden and Pleasant Hill do not have accommodations, Harrisonville was (in my opinion) the closest town to stay in.
I would definitely recommend and also stay at this property again in the future.
- matt (8/5): - Great location. Everything we needed. Clean and easy check in and check out.
- Michele (8/5): - Clean, remodeled, auto lock doors.
- ANNE (10/5): A comfortable stop en route to Branson - A perfect place to stay for a night to recharge on a road trip. The room was clean and seemed to be remodeled from the last time we stayed there. The bed was comfortable. There was good shower pressure with plenty of hot water. Check in & check out was all digital so cell phone or device is necessary. It's across from a truck stop/gas station that also has a restaurant connected to it. There is also a Dunkin donuts shop there..A person can walk across the parking lot to eat so no need to get back in the car once in your room. There is a room for laundry but we did not use it. Because of some trucks coming and going & I am a light sleeper, I heard some in the morning.
- Wendy (8/5): - Price good for 1 night. Convenient parking by room door. Room clean. Bed comfortable.
- Corrine (8/5): - Super clean. Really nice staff.
- DAVID H (10/5): - Nice people
- Philip R (10/5): - This property is in the process of renovation. We found the room comfortable, especially the bed. The staff was very helpful. Check in was digital and simple, as was checkout. No need to visit the office. We accidentally left some clothing in the room and the staff mailed it to us (we paid the postage), which was very helpful.
- Caryl (8/5): - quiet especially with a truck stop across the street
quick check in, friendly staff
- Shauna (8/5): - The gentleman working there was amazing. Great service. A decent stop when traveling. Paint, or washing the walls/carpet would make it great.
Beds, tub were clean. The walls and carpets were dirty, but the accommodations have great potential
- Shelby (10/5): - Great place, clean and great customer service.
- Sandra (6/5): - There was a used towel left behind the bathroom door, from a previous guest. Neither or my husband or I could get the shower turned on
- Nikki (10/5): Fantastic - 1 of the best hotels we have stayed at this year. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was nice and tidy. The people working there were very courteous and friendly. It was 1 of my 1st trips with our dog and she loved it also. We travel a lot and i wish more hotels were this nice.My only regret is not leaving a tip for the maid
- Michael (10/5): - Great staff. The room very clean and bed was great
- Marge (10/5): - Easy access to interstate.
- Josh (10/5): Would stay again! - Not a bad night stay. A little outdated, bot overall pretty clean. Carpets could use a deep clean. A/C was cold and bedding was clean.
- Amy (10/5): - Staff was amazing, safe and very quiet relaxing. Pet friendly and our puppy loved the field right outside of our room
- Emily (8/5): - I would stay again for affordability.
- Robyn (10/5): Can't bear it for the price! - For the price was pleasantly surprised, great staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds
- Sean (10/5): - Very convenient and perfect for a quick stop. Great location and online check in process
- Douglas (10/5): - It looks a little rough on the outside but inside the rooms are all totally refinished they're really nice
- Amanda (10/5): - Harry was so nice and very accommodating! The hotel room was clean and comfy!
- Christy (10/5): Clean & Comfortable - This is a no-frills motel, but it has been renovated and is clean and comfortable! I would definitely stay again!
- LARRY (6/5): - Comfortable bed and pillows. Window air conditioning is loud and disruptive. Have stayed here twice however, as price and location are good
- LARRY (6/5): - I liked to microwave and fridge. Paint on the walls in the bathroom was peeling. As it was hot and humid we needed to run air conditioning all night and didn’t sleep well because it was so noisy
- Heidi (8/5): Nice Place overall - We stayed one night on our way to Branson MO. It was a nice room. Very comfortable. The Air Conditioner was very loud and that was the only downfall.
- Ray (8/5): - An older building, but comfortable enough.
- Melissa (8/5): - This property was clean, convenient and perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep. It had a small fridge and microwave but did not have a coffee maker. Basic accommodations but clean and reasonable priced.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Great option, clean, safe, convenient.
- Wayne (10/5): - In the process of complete renovation. We had room 116 which was 1 of 2 that have been fully renovated. Very well appointed furnishings throughout. What we thought might be a problem was the huge truck stop across the road as the entrance and exit road for the big rigs runs right in front of the motel, but it wasn’t that bad at all. Nice and courteous staff. Will stay there again if we pass through.
