Guest Reviews
- Phil (6/5): A reasonable accommodation for a reasonable price. - The effort to make it work. An older accommodation requires a big investment to keep it at least comfortable. Heating
- Sandra (10/5): - Great place to stay, we were able to walk to Dairy Keen to have our meals. We love staying at this hotel.
- Brandi (10/5): I love this motel. Would definitely stay here again. - Such a cute motel. I love that it’s older but very well kept up. It gave great Swiss vibes. Nothing.
- Christensen (8/5): We loved the feel of it not being the run of the mill hotel and the quaint and coziness of the room. - The owner was very friendly and upgraded our room due to a situation with another guest. The room was clean and cozy. Nothing fancy but quaint. It was reminiscent of childhood travels with my parents. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The pillows could be better. They were not fluffy and we like fluffy.
- Snow (8/5): -
- Patrick (10/5): -
- Barbara (5/5): Not sure we will stay there again - Convenient location Room smelled liked cigarette smoke
- Silvia (10/5): La recepción muy amable abitacion muy limpia - Muy limpio
- Jamie (10/5): -
- Michele (9/5): - The staff was so friendly. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. It could be touched up a bit. The tub was stained and there was some rust on the shower faucet.
- no9nita (8/5): - The location was great for me and so was being able to park right in front of the room. The room was very clean. There were 2 beds, one was too soft for me but the other was perfectly comfortable for. The shower was dated and could use an update but it clean.

- debra (9/5): - I love this place. I was there for a week in October and for three nights this time--both times with my two dogs. It's not fancy; it's just cozy and quiet, and it feels safe. The staff are all very nice, and the owners (or who I am thinking are the owners) are so engaging and pleasant. There's a small playground where the dogs can go potty, and it's a lovely neighborhood in which to take them for longer walks. The dog park is probably less than a mile away, which is great, and of course, it's Heber! There's plenty of trails to explore!
Swiss Alps is right on Main Street so very centrally located. Despite that, the room I've stayed in both times is very quiet, and I don't hear the Main Street traffic.
It's just a great place to stay if you don't need anything fancy!!

- Amy (5/5): Booking over charges for this place! - The check in process was easy and the gentleman who helped me was very nice. My first room hadn’t been cleaned, done no big deal. The road noise is SO loud, beds are super soft, it’s bare bones and over priced for what it is. I booked via Booking but day of realized it was 60$ cheaper to book through the hotels site. Not worth the money I paid at all.

- Jacob (5/5): - Good location for soldier hollow Shower head, expensive
- Christine (10/5): - The absolute privacy of no Hotel hallways, parking right in front of my room, access to a beautiful park, eateries, a big beautiful window. Not new by any means..but very clean.
- Julie (9/5): - Outdoor pool.
- Carmen (10/5): It provided what we needed. - Great hotel. Nothing.
- Rachel (10/5): - My daughter and I stayed here for a fun get-away. We loved the spacious and very clean room and comfortable beds. And we really enjoyed swimming in the clean warm pool! The owner was helpful and gave us tips for places to eat nearby that were gluten free for my daughter, including the restaurant two doors down, Dairy Keen, which has awesome gluten free options and are very careful about cross contamination. Dairy Keen is also owned by the owners of Swiss Alps. We were impressed with both and were especially excited when she pointed us to a gluten free bakery just around the corner, which was also delicious. Swiss Alps Inn was the perfect spot for us!

- Tesa (8/5): -
- joanne (8/5): Great place it’s easy to get to was very quiet - It was a convenient location for a very reasonable price for just a short stay The shower curtain was dirty, and the toilet seat was extremely loose, but both are reported to the staff so I’m sure they’ll take care of it
- Kari (8/5): - The room was cozy and clean, dog friendly
- Heike (10/5): - Comfy beds, spacious and clean room Nothing
- Jennifer (10/5): - Everything
- Becky (10/5): We really enjoyed the staff who were kind and attentive. The room was also comfortable and clean. - We didn't have the breakfast, but am sure that we would have enjoyed the breakfast if we didn't have another event at the same time as breakfast. N/A
- Chelsea (10/5): - Needed a room in a crunch and stick due to snow. It was a nice room a little outdated but comfortable.
- Abigail (9/5): -
- Brenda (5/5): - It's nice to have family run business and it was clean with a nice shower. Beds were so-so, traffic noise was real bad and weather stripping on door not good enough to keep chimney smoke out.
- Lisa (9/5): -
- Adam (10/5): Supportive staff - Friendly helpful and understanding staff Nothing
- Crawford (5/5): -
- Andre (8/5): Would stay there again - Loved it all. Owner was amazing. Bed was my only complaint. My back was killing me and the bed didn't improve it.
- Sanders (9/5): - This is such a lovely little place. It's old and old-fashioned, right down to having a room key instead of a card, and I like that. I ended up staying for 6 nights, and it really offered me everything I needed.
The location is excellent, right on Main street.
It was great to be able to have both my dogs with me here.
- Louisa (9/5): - Convenient Left my AirPods there and they said they knew nothing about it which I find hard to believe
- Dawn (10/5): Swiss Alps Motel ROCKS!! - This motel is SUPERB! Check-in was great, staff SO friendly! They even offered to get us free tickets to a city play tonight! The room!!! BEDS ARE SOME EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE!!! We appreciated the larger coffee cups in the room for our coffee!! It just seems like so many little things made our room SO ENJOYABLE! We booked a 2nd night because we could really rest during our long road trip!!! Thanks so much!!!
- Karen (8/5): - A quaint motel, quiet and friendly
- Leann (10/5): - The staff was friendly and the facility was clean and comfortable. We were able to check in before our event. We were very pleasded with our stay. Nothing
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Pruitt (9/5): Very comfortable stay, at a reasonable price - Liked the little extras, microwave popcorn, hot chocolate along with coffee and tea, all the ice you wanted. We had 2 beds, one was firm the other soft. I like a firm mattress, my husband likes soft. The parking lot was tight.
- Natalie (8/5): - I like this motel for the price, cute vibe and coupon they give you for the next-door Dairy Keen. (Adorable train-themed burger & shake diner.) The accommodations are rather dated, but clean. You can't beat the rates they charge in Heber City. We stay there whenever we're in town for a mountain bike race.
- teri (10/5): - Very helpful staff. The rooms could use upgrades, hot tub advertised but not working.
- Gary (10/5): - Fun place to stay
- Michael (8/5): - Friendly staff
- Jeffrey (8/5): - It's a nice motel. Clean. Great location in town. If you're in town for work and need a desk, one of the larger rooms would be the best choice. I upgraded shortly after arrival. If you're by yourself and only looking for a place to rest your head, the smaller room should suffice. But the small rooms are....small. I'd stay in the Swiss Alps Inn again.
- Rosario (9/5): Great stay - great value! - Older property but very well maintained. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was clean and everything worked! Great location, easy to get in and out. Would definitely book again! Value for stay is great! Property was great!
- Terri (10/5): - Wonderful place. Would definitely stay again.
- SUE (10/5): - great owners. Convenient.
- Ken (9/5): Enjoyed the manager, the room and the location. - Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The location was near many restaurants. The only thing that I would like the owner to be aware is the mattress bracket on the bed that is near the back wall. If you examine between the beds (need to lift the sheets, you will notice the box spring bracket bent out. If you are not aware, you could injure your foot or leg. My wife did catch her leg on it and caused a scrape.
- Chris (8/5): very nostalgic - This is an older hotel. rooms were clean, plenty of towels, plenty of space, it could use better mattresses. convenient parking just outside of your room which is very nice.
- Chantel (10/5): - We love the Swiss Alps Inn! I stayed there with my family as a kid around 20 years ago and was happy to stay last weekend for my event near Heber. The parking lot is kind of wonky,
- Barbara (10/5): - Conveniently located along the main road, super nice people run it, the room was quiet as far as not being able to hear neighbors, there was a bit of road noise, but our room was so well removed from the road it was not a problem. We will definitely stay here again!
- Heidi (9/5): -
- Lesley (10/5): Swiss Alps Inn - We had a great experience at the Swiss Alps Inn. It's cute and clean and just nice and Mike who checked us in was lovely. There are probably newer more modern hotels in the area but I am so glad I picked this one.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Budget friendly but cleanliness was to be desired. - The room had spider webs on the ceiling and there were used towels on the towel rack.
- Cindy (6/5): - Older motel. It was ok. I didn’t realize that it was pretty old. Could use a little upgrade. It shows a 4.5 rating. I went for a low rate and they said 4.5 review.
- Heather (10/5): Love staying at this hotel. So cute and quaint! - Convenient. Beds were so comfortable!! N/A
- Hayley (10/5): - Older motel, but clean and wonderful service. A little loud right on Main Street. But would stay here again.
- Bradley (8/5): Clean simple motel in the heart of Heber. - Great location. Clean. Fun theme. Older property and it shows. Hot tub was out of service.
- James (10/5): -
- Sophie (5/5): - The staff were so kind and helpful, providing us with tips for the area. Across the road was a great mexican place, walking distance. It’s pretty run down and aged.
- Astrid (10/5): - The owner and staff are so nice. This is a great motel for a short stay in the valley or just passing through.
- Keli (10/5): - The price i payed for the room here was way cheaper than any other hotel in town. The desk staff is super friendly and go above and beyond for the comfort of their guests. The pool was very clean and the temperature was great, they also provide pool toys and accessories for the little ones. Every future trips i plan for heber city will be spent at this hotel. I loved this place so much!
- Alfred (8/5): - Bathrooms new to be upgraded. Toilets are short
- andrea (10/5): birthday outing - very enjoyable experience
- Richard (9/5): -
- John B. (10/5): - Old and homey. Comfortable and easy to park, access the room, and stroll the neighborhood. The most amazing fast food ever, Dairy Keen is next door and is worth the extravagance. The Inn is right on I40 so try to get a room as far away from the road as possible. Charming proprietor made us feel comfortable and at home immediately. I’d totally stay here again.
- Richard (8/5): - 👍
- Yun (10/5): - everything No body was or shampoo in 2 days.
- Nolan (10/5): - Everything was great
- Richard (9/5): -
- Scott (8/5): - Very comfortable stay.
- Jolene (8/5): - The exterior is Swiss themed and the rooms are named for Swiss Cantons. I just loved that.
This is the second time I've stayed here. This time, during peak vacation and construction time it is noisy. The motel is on Main Street which is a 4 lane road that runs North and South. There is a lot of traffic. Last time i was here was in the fall and it was much quieter. The motel grounds are tidy, there is a pool, kids play area. The room is very clean and has that mid century roadside inn Vibe. Refrigerator and microwave but no coffee amenities. For economy and cleanliness this place cant be beat. Next time I'll request a room in the back of the motel.
- Brian (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karen (10/5): Yummy stay - Great motel. And they own the Dairy keen. Delicious food!!
- Jessica (10/5): Excellent - We loved our stay here! Close to so many businesses and incredibly comfortable. Does need a bit of updating but overall great stay. Will come back for sure!
- Toni (10/5): Great place with big rooms. - This is a quaint, spacious motel room. Beds are comfortable and the location is great. The staff is great...i left something in the room and didn't realize it till i got home. They had called and left a message. They even went above and beyond in offering to send my item home with a family member who lives in Salt lake, so i wouldn't have to drive back. Loved being across the street from Chicks!
- Betsy (8/5): - Staff was so friendly! Many walkable restaurants around.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - The room was spacious, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I enjoyed my stay here.
- Fernando (10/5): A very comparable stand I was close to everything. I have no complaints except for maybe if the hot tub was running, but - Cozy, comfortable in nostalgic a If I were to complain about anything, it would just be the TV a little bit bigger and easier to manage. I don’t see very well without my glasses so from the bed it’s hard to see so a little TV be a little bigger my little been better, but other than that, it was wonderful.
- Amilvette (10/5): - Perfect location!
- Toddbeck (10/5): A kitschy motel with 5-star service and huge, immaculate rooms - Huge rooms, fully equipped. Solid water pressure. The staff (apparently run by a family) was stellar. I mean STELLAR. Like you're staying at a 5-star resort but paying inexpensive prices. One room was two rooms, with a separate doored sleeping area. So we got three rooms for the price of two. Everything was immaculate and well-maintained. Yeah, it's an old motel from the kitschy era, which makes it even more fun. And the on-site Dairy Keen was the best food we'd had on the whole trip, despite being fast food. Highly recommended. You'll see that it's a motel and expect less, but then be very, very pleased. Long live the Swiss Alps Inn. Long live the family that runs it. No room for improvement. It was fantastic.
- L (7/5): Good -
- Lane (8/5): Clean, comfortable, and a friendly staff. - Location
- August (8/5): I wouldn't mind staying here again. - No problems with wi-fi. Decent lighting in room, for working at desk and for reading in bed. Bed comfortable. No major complaints.
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Terry (10/5): Wonderful stay! Best mattress so far on this journey! - Very quaint and well kept. Loved the Swiss history.
- Johanna (10/5): - The front desk lady was very nice, she got around and was also at burger place next store working. It was clean, needs some updating the air conditioner was not great and had to use personal fans to stay cool while sleeping. Overall was a great stay!!
- Janna (10/5): - I’ve been staying here for many years and have never had a bad experience. Pet friendly too!
- darrin (10/5): - Excellent
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent place - Things I liked: friendly check in, comfortable beds, close to surrounding areas. Good price for what you get.
Not as liked: rooms are older and have stains and show wear and tear. Water took a long time to get hot in shower. Half of the towels had stains. Noisy once morning traffic starts since it's a main street.
Overall it was decent for what we needed. Room was spacious and beds comfortable.
- Richard (3/5): It's a place t stay - Quaint but older A/C did not cool in main room and street was loud
- Cowboy1296 (10/5): Exceptional -
