We had changes with the number of people staying and they went out if their way to help us and fit us all in. The showers were cold, perhaps there was something wrong

• Thalia (1/5): Disgusting and not worth the money at all. - This place was disappointing! Active growing mould in the bathroom everywhere. The floors were sticky throughout. There was a bad smell in the accomodation that had my daughter and myself coughing the whole time. The aircon unit looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in years the amount of dust and grime build up. There was no fire alarm- I don’t know how this place is up with health and safety. The breakfast was stale also and the front desk person unlocked the reception door with no shoes on.

The beds were exceptionally clean. The check out was easy. They called us to let us know we had left something behind. The staff were very polite and friendly. There was nothing that I would say we don’t like.

• Daniel (8/5): Quiet, comfortable and convenient. - The location was very convenient for my stay so that was good and I also like that part of town. The coffee stains on the ceiling of the lounge room/bedroom and other stains and marks in places that I thought should’ve been cleaned. The shower has a lot of mould broken fixtures & soap dispensers that have been removed but the hangers still hang on the wall and just makes the place feel untidy.

I left some jewellery in the room when I checked out and the manager was more than willing to help get it back to me when I lived 2 hours away. Would 1000% stay here again. Just across the road from some really decent food spots and a really good merlo coffee shop next door. Everything was super clean and neat. Really good place if you’re looking for somewhere to stop in for a night or two in Toowoomba.

Milk in the coffee machine also no good. Basically just cereal and toast available. Not worth it. So disappointed as I just wanted a decent brekky.

Had a pretty good set up for breakfast, many options of cerals and bread and juice, coffee tea and hot chocolate and snacks ect. Shower was noisy ometimes, maybe due to an air lock. Cleaning could do with a bit of attention, but otherwise we had a good stay for what we needed for the night.

But rooms have limited sound resistance and it can be noisy, the area does have some undesirables that move past and around conducting illicit behaviours. However, overall very good. Those undesirables witnessed never actuall entered the immediate area. We would stay again. The staff were the most impressive thing, very friendly and great service.

• Kari (8/5): - Motel was handy and close to most things. Room was fairly clean just no dishwashing liquid to wash cutlery and crockery and only had one coffee mug in room. Continental breakfast was reasonable but time open didn't always suit. Crockery available for breakfast wasn't the cleanest.
• Steve (5/5): Served a need - Location was perfect for us. Good sized room for a family of three. The bathroom had a terrible smell, smelt like sewerage. A free continental breakfast was offered and it stated on Booking.com that it included pancakes. This is why we chose the motel as kids love pancakes. The Breakfast did not have pancakes available, and the breakfast items were not replenished during the morning, so unless you were the first 8 people in you got slim pickings.

The shower floor got drenched, so there was little space to stand and get dried. It said continental breakfast, so I was expecting bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and those little buns.
• Dominic (6/5): Overall we were quite happy with the room and enjoyed our stay. - The beds are comfortable and the staff mostly friendly. It’s quiet. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and were very grateful for having this each morning. As soon as we walked outside of our room we were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke as other guest were smoking in the car park. I travelled with my toddler and wasn’t too happy about this.. also the aircon in our room was very noisy and the dishes weren’t cleaned properly.
