• Holger R. (6/5): Es ist ein gutes Business Hotel in einem guten Umfeld und nahe zur U-Bahn - Zentrale Lage und nahe der U-Bahn und einem ausreichend und guten Frühstück. Kaffee und Wasser immer verfügbar. Mixkaffee und Tee, sowie Heißwasserbereiter auf dem Zimmer. Sauberes und großes Bad mit guter Ausstattung inkl. Zahnpasta und Handseife, sowie anderen Bad-Utensilien. Die Fenster sind extrem dreckig und obwohl schon öfters mitgeteilt, keine Änderung. Überdecke dreckig (ist mir aber bis jetzt nur einmal passiert und ich bin fast jede Woche dort). Die Notleuchten sind nur teilweise funktionsfähig

(8/5): Good hotel location and responsive management, but still very dirty windows in the guest rooms. - The AURA Hotel in Ansan is well located, with restaurants and other facilities within easy reach. I would like to positively mention that the hotel reacted to my previous feedback regarding the emergency safety/fire lights in the guest rooms. In the rooms I stayed in recently, these life-saving emergency lights were working properly again, which I appreciate. The only negative point is that the windows in the guest rooms are still very dirty. They have not been cleaned for at least three years, and I have been staying at this hotel roughly twice per month during that time.

• Holger R. (7/5): Great comfort & friendly staff, but dirty windows & broken safety lights ... must be fixed!!! - The hotel is in an excellent location, making it easy to relax after work. The rooms are well equipped; most have a bathtub and other pleasant amenities. Tea and coffee are provided, as well as water (three bottles in the in-room refrigerator and unlimited water available in the lobby). A fully automatic coffee machine is available in the lobby 24/7. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. All beds are equipped with memory foam mattresses, although they are still quite firm. There is a large smart TV that allows you to use YouTube and other streaming services if you log in with your own account. There is also a PC in the room, which I haven’t tried yet, but it seems to work. One point I would like to mention, which I have observed for quite some time - as I stay at this hotel almost every week for one or two nights - is the condition of the windows, which are very dirty in all rooms, and the safety flashlights in the rooms, which are not functioning. As these flashlights are part of the hotel’s safety equipment, their malfunction is a matter of concern. In an emergency situation, such as a fire, this could pose a serious risk. I trust that the hotel management will take this safety-related issue seriously and ensure that the emergency flashlights in all rooms are checked and restored to proper working condition as soon as possible.

The bathrooms are quite big and equipped with shower and bathtub. The emergency hand lamps in most of the rooms are out of order and the windows a quite dirty!

Also the coffee and minibar in the room is quite convenient. The air-con should be cleaned from time to time it looks quite dirty and the smell is not so good if you start the device- see photo.

I would recommend this place, only that travellers should watch out for receptionist who charge extra fee for breakfast tickets. I seemed to have been scammed by the receptionist on April 21. I stayed at this place for 2 nights. The receptionist on April 21 at night only gave us 1 breakfast ticket. When we asked for a second ticket, I was charged an extra KRW10,000. On April 22, when I asked for breakfast ticket again, I wasn't charged extra for the breakfast and got 2 tickets without issue.

The hotel offering a small breakfast, coffee machine and free bottled water in the lobby. Wide space for individual car parking. friendly staff in a safe environment. Sometimes a bit noisy due to the love movements in some of the room. There isn't much negative to say about the hotel.
• Holger (8/5): It’s a good hotel, in good location with some minor negative points. Beds are excellent! - Is a clean and quiet business hotel in the center of Ansan. Good location with a lot of restaurants and bars around. Very good beds, that’s giving you a good sleep! A small breakfast is served, very Korean The breakfast could be a bit more delicious, the scrambled egg is very soft and swimming in water. The entrance and the breakfast area are quite cold in the wintertime that’s why it’s very uncomfortable to have breakfast or waiting time.

• Paola (10/5): More than worthy for the price point - The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, I had my check out after breakfast but I wanted to explore the city more, so they kept my backpack with them until 8pm completely free of charge. Considering the price I paid for the room was incredible, it had all the possible comforts and even more, there was even a charger for the phone already available right next to the bed. The breakfast was a tone down compared to everything else, it didn’t have much variety for a buffet, especially for sweet food, and the food was more warm that hot/freshly made.

• JohnDoe33333 (10/5): A gem in Ansan - I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and there was no noise from outside as the windows were insulated in a good manner. The hotel also provides a minibus service in the morning to the local Industrial Estate. The breakfast was more than adequate. There are lots of local BBQ restaurants close by for the evening meal.

• Lydia (6/5): - We travelled as a big group. Some rooms were booked for 2 persons but there was only one towel provided in each room. When we asked for more towels, the front desk rudely told my friends that our group asked for too many towels. We also felt quite unsafe due to two things. There is a light outside the room at the door which would indicate whether there was a key card slotted into the mains which would then indicate if there was anyone in the room. This could potentially be a safety issue as others would know your whereabouts. The second thing was that one of our group members were wrongly issued the master keycard. We realised this because she accidentally used the card for another room and the door opened. We tried the card on the other rooms and it worked. We feedback to the front desk and asked for the correct key card. When we collected the supposed new key card, the card could still open all doors. It was quite difficult to get taxis to go to Hanyang uni Erica campus, which was our main reason for staying at this hotel. We thought that the proximity to the campus is a plus point. However due to the short distance, many taxis including kakao refused the job. This is out of the control of the hotel but would just like to bring to your attention in case you are thinking of staying here for easier travel to the campus. Having said all these negative points, the rooms are very spacious and clean. Most of the staff were nice and helpful.

• HENRIQUE TOMIKAZU (8/5): - We stayed at Hotel Aura for a total of 4 nights and it was an okay experience, not outstanding. Some of the staff members were kind and helpful. A few of them were not fluent in English, but it’s not an issue in my opinion. We were able to communicate using Google Translate. We picked a plan with Expedia in which only one free breakfast/day was offered per room and we paid for the second one (we’re a couple) upon check-in. As we didn’t receive any receipts, it was a hassle to pick up our vouchers every morning at the reception and having to explain that we had already paid for it. :/ Pros: the hotel is very close to a subway station; there are tons of dining options nearby. You don’t have to walk much to get to restaurants, coffee shops, drugstores, convenience stores; the size of the room and bathroom was quite impressive if you consider the price point; the hotel, despite being a bit outdated, was very clean! Amenities were also very good! Cons: it is VERY FAR from the main attractions in Seoul. The train ride was over one hour long (one way)! Looking back, it would’ve probably been better off spending a bit more money and staying at a closer accommodation to downtown Seoul; the breakfast buffet was exactly the same every morning. No variation whatsoever. At times, the food seemed preheated from the day before. :/ The area around the hotel was quiet, but sketchy. If traveling with children, you’d be better off skipping it.

• Jayd (9/5): Superb - The location was good for the area and the station was a 5 minute walk away, but if you wanted to explore Ansan then stay further in. Otherwise it was great to travel from and beautiful to see the outskirts of the city! The place was very comfortable and had so much space! The breakfasts were decent enough and the staff were generally very good! I didn't like the fact that the room is set for one person always, even though we booked for two people, it only includes Breakfast for a single person the other has to pay extra for a breakfast ticket. However some mornings they inforced this and others we just both ate breakfast for free. Then the room service kept only providing one towel! I constantly had to go and request extra towels, which they happily and courteously provided! It was more strange than harassing though. Overall we were very happy with our stay!
