Nicht zu vergessen das Frühstück, welches schmackhaft und frisch war. Der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben gerne auf der Außen Terrasse gefrühstückt.

Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen sehr gut. Gegenüber gibt es einen Fahrzeugverleih. Beim duschen ist das Bad sehr schnell geflutet. Warmes Wasser leider manchmal nicht vorhanden. Handtücher gibt es leider nur sehr sparsam. Betten waren sehr hart. Allem in allem ein top Preis- Leistungverhältnis.

• U728BNstevef (10/5): This Hotel made our holiday - Had a fantastic time in Kos town, could not fault our hotel it was very clean throughout, the continental breakfast was good with plenty of choices. All the staff made our stay very pleasurable and they are all so helpful thank you, the shower head broke while I was using it, reported it to the staff and it had been replaced when we got back that evening fantastic service. It's close to the old town (5minutes) loads of bars restaurants and shops, just down the road is the harbour which is very vibrant at night, if you are energetic across the road there is a cycle hire shop, we are to old for that so we hired a car from them😁There are old ruins close by that are very interesting. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

• Google9035 (8/5): Friends trip - Pros: Friendly staff Clean rooms/pool area Close to town and the beach Cons: Pool gets quite busy by 11am so you will need to get up early to get a space. There were lots of pool floats taking up a big corner of the pool and not in use. Small bedroom, but had all essentials you would need. Very dated bathroom with the smallest shower would be no good if you were above 6ft or a larger person. No fresh fruit at breakfast, would have loved a bananas. I’d recommend this hotel for its price but I think you could pay a tiny bit more and get something much nicer in my opinion.
• Clare (10/5): Great central budget hotel - Just a 1 night stay to experience Kos Town during our stay in Kefalos. Arrived at the hotel at 11am to drop our bag & our room was ready! Very basic, super clean, nice bright white towels & sheets, plenty of hot water - everything we needed for a budget night. Staff very pleasant & helpful, they kept our bag till the following evening for us as well. Breakfast was fresh & pleasant. Very central for the old town & harbour. Would stay again.

Stayed on the 2nd floor where the whole floor has been refurbished. I think they are in the process of refurbishing all the other floors. the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. always smiling too!

Otelin hemen karşısında bisiklet ve motorsiklet kiralama sirketi mevcut.

Camera di per sé accettabile anche se datata, con grande vetrata che dà sul balcone (anche questa pulita chissà quando) servizio di pulizia camera scarso. Colazione appena sufficiente, pochissima scelta, manca la macchina per il caffè ecc che ormai hanno tutti; pane per toast raffermo . Sul sito viene pubblicizzata una camera carina, con bel bagno!!!

Rent och fräscht Personalen var alltid "goa och glada", mycket hjälpsamma med vad man än undrade över . Ingen egen pool ,men samarbetade med Theatraki Apartments, som har ett fantastiskt fint poolområde ,med mycket välkomnande personal ! Det låg 5 min promenad bort , lätt att hitta !!

Delicious Greek breakfast available in the morning, all you can eat buffet. Kostas the owner was friendly and most helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to see in the town.
• 650darrenj (8/5): Decent hotel with good customer service - Me and a mate of mine just came back on Friday. This hotel is definitely for the people wanting a Relaxed holiday. It has excellent A/C but has no Pool. Bars are close by and there’s a nice restaurant right next to the hotel. The staff are lovely and helpful. Check out isn’t until 12pm which is great and there’s always someone at reception even through the late hours. The hotel bar is open til 5am but don’t worry it wasn’t noisy at all. There’s 2 reasons why I only gave 4 stars I twice asked for extra pillows but never got any and the rooms are slightly too compact. Warning with the Showers, they are very powerful, you must run at half power otherwise you risk flooding bathroom floor like I did lol. I’ve never been to a hotel where literally nobody wants to sit at the hotel bar. We were the only 1s sat there. Bars are quite close by like 400 yards from hotel. Also it seems like all the bars in Kos don’t sell Draught beer only the restaurants. There’s a decent Rock bar round the corner but all the bars don’t even start getting packed until 11pm so if you’re out be prepared for late nights. Finally there’s loads of boats on the harbour and I went on 1 to take you to 3 other islands, Kalmynos, Pserimos and Plati. This is a must thing to do was great. Lots of museums and things to see. And definitely take a trip 17 miles down the road to see Donny’s live band. Taxis cost 40 euros to and from so would recommend getting a bus to get there. He plays excellent rock music. It’s actually the hotels receptionists brother and it’s his twin you can’t miss him! Also even though the Hotel has no pool you are allowed to use the pool in the hotel opposite called the Blue lagoon. Would recommend.

We complained because it was not noted anywhere and the staff were not prepared to discuss at all, stating that we should have known. We also booked a double room but received two twin beds slid together, with a gap left in between.

• Bigbeefy (10/5): little piece of heaven - Great friendly staff, great food, the pizza is highly recommended.The rooms are like little chalets,no kitchenette though,but does however have a fridge and kettle and mugs.It has a quiet fishing village with restaurants and little supermarket about 10 mins walk away (turn left out of hotel).nearest cashpoint for example is in Kalloni a 15min taxi ride away.I do think teenagers would be bored here so i would hire a car to explore the more upbeat areas,for us though it was just peace and quiet and tranquility for a week away from work and normal life.The salt flats facing the hotel were an amazing walk to see the butterflies and flamingoes.If you want piece and quiet its everything you need,my wife called it a spiritual retreat. breakfast was ample,plenty of choice.Last of all to the owner Elanor what a great hostess,always happy and smiling
• K8349XYnan (10/5): Lovely Friendly and Great Value - I stayed here in June for ten days vacation to the Island of Kos, I arrived very late at night but staff on duty was very friendly and hospitable and helpful with information. As the holiday progressed I found that all the family and staff of this very good centrally located hotel was indeed extremely polite and friendly. Rooms were cleaned daily although rooms are a little basic they are clean and fresh linen and towels were given every day if needed. What is great about this place is its location being close to all your needs but in a predominantly quieter area of town. Coast road and main town roughly five to ten mins walking with easy access to all the sights that Kos town has to offer its visitors. Would indeed stay here again,

• michael (8/5): Aegeon Hotel medium sized hotel typical greek - Typical Greek property, simple amenities. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was decent. Shower wasn't the best but it worked and was warm/ cold as needed. Air conditioning was good, room was a decent size.
• Ehepaar (2/5): Nicht zu empfehlen! - Das Hotel ist total in die Jahre gekommen, vom Zustand des Zimmers ganz zu schweigen, wir waren entsetzt, das Bett glich einer Pritsche und war hart und unbequem, alles alt und gammelig, die Klimaanlage hat die Nacht über laute Geräusche abgegeben, und das für einen Preis von 64,- die Nacht! Hervorheben kann man nur das überaus nette Personal, das Frühstück war zweckmäßig.
• lindakO7450RD (6/5): Great Location - The Aegeon is a basic, simple hotel which is kept spotlessly clean. The owners/managers are lovely people who are friendly and very helpful. We had a late flight home and they allowed us to store our luggage during the day and take a shower before getting changed prior to our pick-up for the airport. The rooms are air-conditioned which worked very well and ran quietly. The hotel is also in a great location, ideal for the harbour area and the old town, both within a few minutes walk. There are also some fantastic nearby restaurants. However, there are a few negatives, which, while we are reluctant to overly criticise these hard working, nice people, feel they should be pointed out and is the reason why we have down-rated it. 1: We had a ground floor room which may have been the reason, but we found it VERY noisy. We could hear everyone coming in and out of the hotel, loud conversations in the foyer/reception area in the early hours of the morning, cleaners getting their buckets out of a cupboard early in the morning, people going in and out of the kitchen preparing breakfast, traffic going by on the busy road. The fridge in the room was also noisy - sounded like a gale was blowing through the room! When in the bathroom, we could hear everything going on in our neighbours room (and I mean EVERYTHING). There is a door between reception and the hallway, which may have improved things if it were kept shut. 2: There is NO pool situated at the hotel which is not evident from their website. The pool is a "use-of" arrangement, a good 5-10 minute walk away at the Theatraki Hotel, next to the Roman Odeon. (Very nice and well worth the walk but not overly convenient if a pool holiday is what you are looking for). 3: The breakfast was poor for our first few days - very little on offer other than toast, some dried up cake/biscotti, some cheap meat and sliced cheese. This improved as the week went on to include some melon, greek yoghurt, and then finally some cereals. There was no black tea/English breakfast or decaffinated coffee available. A fruit salad or cereal from the start would have been appreciated. 4. We had no hot water in the mornings on a couple of occasions. We thought it may be because the hotel was busy and water was solar heated, but we know it was busier towards the end of our stay and although we were late getting up hot water was there. The hotel decor is dated, particularly the bathroom and there have been a number of poor repairs carried out which add to it's shabbiness. However, for the price we paid, we cannot overly criticise that, but feel if it were updated it would really add to the experience. We are not fussy people at all, but these little things all added to our disappointment in the hotel.
• SunshineSeason (8/5): Basic, clean & convenient - We stayed at Aegeon three times as we used it as our base while taking excursions to Bodrum, Turkey and Rhodes island. Our first room was reasonable with a nice outlook onto the neighbouring hotel's lovely swimming pool but the WiFi was problematic with signal continually dropping. The bathroom is somewhat outdated but functional enough. When we returned for our third stay, we were first put into a room where the air conditioner did not work at all. From there we were moved to a front room overlooking the street that had only one available plug for use. The only other plug point was for the fridge. We were thankfully placed back in our original room. Aegeon is a comfortable 600 to 700 meter walk from the harbour where the day cruise boats dock and tavernas line the road and a very easy amble to the KTEL bus station. There is also a fabulous local restaurant/take-away right next door, "ΚΟΤΑΡΟΥ" which is very convenient if you don't feel like walking or prefer great non-tourist food as it is supported mostly by locals. Overall, Aegeon is a clean and comfortable establishment and the manager is extremely friendly and helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Should we return to Kos, we will definitely consider staying here again.
• ninol702 (6/5): Simple accommodation in central location! - I visited before the tourist season so it probably altered my experience. But the room was basic, simple, clean but very old fashioned. Downside of my stay was that the reception was basically closed all the time and I had to use my own key every time I got in. Also the hotel lounge and bar were closed for the whole time. The breakfast was not the buffet that was advertised but just bread, juice, cake & coffee. It was made for me especially so can't really complain about that. Staff was superb during my stay and the location is great, just 5 minute walk from the port and old town. Just to be clear - there is no pool!

• deb40Sunderland (10/5): Great location simple but great - We have just arrived back from this hotel today (13th July) Check in very quick room was on the 2 nd floor,We took the lift which is quite dated but works really well.Rooms are very basic but exceptionally clean,there is a fridge but no kettle we took our own.We went bed and breakfast as we like to go out and explore,breakfast is continental which suited us I took a jar of coffee with me as sometime coffee a little strong for me.I enjoyed having toast with the lurpac butter and jam on a morning.There was also cereal ham cheese yogurt and watermelon.Besides the hotel being very clean it couldn't be in a more prime position as its central for everything.Its 10 mins walk to the harbour.it maybe wouldn't suit someone who wants just to stay by the hotel as there isnt much to do.if you want a good base for getting out and about its perfect.There was a shower and bath in our room which was good for us.We found the beds comfortable and it suited us.We are hoping to go back in September ,it's a lovely family run hotel .Thank you for a lovely stay and hopefully see you in September 😄
• Verified traveler (8/5): The best staff in town! - Camera con tutto l'essenziale: tv, aria condizionata e frigo. Il bagno è piccolo e sarebbe da rimodernare con un box doccia al posto dell'attuale tendina che fa allagare il bagno. L'unica pecca è la tenda leggera del balcone che fa entrare la luce la mattina e le cameriere che sono un po rumorose... I proprietari sono persone fantastiche, gentili e disponibili e ti fanno sentire a casa. La posizione dell'albergo è ottima.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Annefales ikke for de som skal feste - Er planen din for kos å feste, er ikke dette det optimale hotellet. Er veldig sentralt og nærme barstreet, men passer best for familier. Er veldig strengt når det gjelder lydnivå. Utenom det var det et veldig bra hotell. Ikke så mye å pirke på, men renholder kunne vært bedre, ettersom de "nye" håndklene hadde flekker og generelt dårlig vask på badet.
• Alexandra (8/5): Nice for the Price - Nice hotel for the price. The owners were super pleasant and very helpful! Location was good right in the middle of town but not noisey.
• Marie (8/5): Beliggenhet og service - Hotellet lå i et rolig gate, samtidig som det var sentralt. 10 min gange til strand og marina. Familien som driver hotellet er svært hjelpsomme og serviceinnstilt. Vi bodde på hotellet i 2 uker og er veldig fornøyde. Wifi'en kunne ha vært bedre. Synes også at renholdet av badet kunne vært gjort bedre ettersom vi var der i 2 uker uten skrubb av badekaret. Restauranten Broadway som ligger like ved har FANTASTISK mat. Vi spiste der 4 ganger i løpet av oppholdet. Delikatessebutikken lengre ned i gaten er også verdt et stopp, der får du søtsaker og is i alle former og smaker!

• Frances (8/5): Cool and comfortable in Kos - We had a relaxed and enjoyable stay at the Aegeon. This family run hotel is clean, cool and comfortable. Every one was friendly and helpful. It was convenient for the beach and main attractions in Kos and close to the bus so it was easy to get around the island too.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Sijainti rauhallisella paikalla, kaupungin hälinän ulkopuolella, mutta kuitenkin lähellä kaikkea. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Huone oli hyvä ja siisti. Sänky hieman kova.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Gerne wieder - Sehr einfache Zimmer, aber super sauber. Pool vom Nachbarn kann genutzt werden. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Evtl Ohrstöpsel zum Schlafen mitnehmen, weil das Nachbarhotel laut sein kann.
• Kccrush (8/5): Location, location location - The Aegeon Hotel in Kos is a great bargain and is located smack in the center without being too close to the craziness. If you want a supremely clean hotel with friendly staff and working wifi, then this place is for you. It's not fancy, but there's a balcony, clean sheets and bed, basic breakfast, basic bar, and well-situated in downtown. The rooms are a bit monastery-esque, with few additions. Minimalist and clean. I loved the recommendations the staff offered for restaurants and beaches. There's a bike shop to rent cycles right across the street, and a bakery/ice cream shop down the street. Pretty much all you need! Could be improved with some basic services like beach towel rental and laundry service.

• Chriss170572 (10/5): Great location & very friendly helpfull - Great location, very clean, family run hotel with lovely people that go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Walking distance to the port & town but not noises at night. Would go back again without hesitation.
• Piemansgapyear (10/5): Perfect spot away from all the tourists but close enough to town - We had a very spacious twin room with a great balcony overlooking the street where we had drinks every night. The young guy running the place was very helpful and always on hand to look after your every need. Great pool and lobby area, also a sensational restaurant called broadway, less than 50 metres away. Would definately recommend and go back here!
