The unit was nice and warm and the Queen size bed was extremely comfortable. There were good blackout curtains, and I heard very little road noise. Would highly recommend.
Dan (10/5): Great spit in a convenient suburb close to CBD - It seems like this motel is in the midst of significant upgrades. While our room showed some signs of wear and tear, there was also evidence of significant new upgrades. We booked for one night but decided to stay for 2. The owner gave us a small discount for the 2nd night. When we checked in, the reception took great effort to ensure all was ready for us. There was milk, sodas, and even a couple of KitKats. The room showed some wear to the carpet and sofa but it was spotlessly clean. Very spacious in both the main room and the bathroom. All the amenities you expect or need were provided. The bathroom was huge and obviously had been recently upgraded with a spa tub and a new shower stall. The hot water was endless and the towels plentiful and high quality. The kitchenette had microwave, fridge, kettle, and was offset from the bedroom so we weren't falling over each other. There is no A/C but with windows at t h e front and back and a huge pedestal fan we never had issues cooling it down. The free laundry facilities and vacuum for cleaning our car came in very handy. Lots of room to store things too. The slightly larger table would have been appeciated. If you are fussy you will find things here to complain about. But if you enjoy value for money, and appreciate an owner striving to improve, this is a very good choice. Only 5 minutes to the train station for easy connections diwntown.

felicity (8/5): Nice hotel in Lower Hutt - While it doesn’t look like much from the outside, the inside is nicely renovated and was very warm and comfortable. Walls are thin though and could hear the person next door snoring loudly which made it difficult to sleep. Only criticism would be that there was a pot of cigarette butts outside the door which was smelly and disgusting.

Real milk was provided (yippy). The area was quiet so I slept well :-) In the unit the Guest Folder had a good range of info on local eateries which was helpful, along with unlimited WiFi made my stay good - I'd be more than happy to stay there again.

Everything was in excellent condition and very clean. Good quality soap, shampoo and conditioner. Well appointed kitchenette.
Mary (8/5): Great room with beautiful decor - The room was beautifully decorated and designed and we really enjoyed it. I did have a problem with the mattress as it was hard, and I felt the wires from the electric blanket so I did not sleep well. We had a problem with parking and it would seem that the person who planned the car parks had never driven a car. As we were in the room in the corner we could not fit into the space when we returned in the evening. Those 2 issues were disappointing as this motel has a lot going for it, and as I said earlier, the room was lovely.
