• Aimee (10/5): - Great place for a weekend stay. The screened in porch was perfect in the evenings. Easy to find location and parking lot is level with the 2nd floor, so no stairs needed to access the condo.

• H (10/5): Peaceful - It was a very quite and peaceful area. Close to Main Street. I had issues with the internet, so I called and within 15 minutes (i forgot her name, sorry!) someone was at the door with a solution. She was very friendly and helpful. Although the internet still didn’t work it was the service and quick responses from the staff that made me love this place! Very nicely decorated, I felt as though I was at home here. The two fireplaces were a great touch. I will gladly stay here again very soon once the weather gets nicer. Highly recommend place to stay in Galena!
• Saminchicago (8/5): - Things to note: - We were here in mid March. May be different in peak times. - Property not owned by Eagle Ridge Resort. You can book spa services and eat in the restaurants, but can't access the shuttle or resort pool. You do have access to an outdoor pool w/in walking distance, and Galena Territories owners complex (indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, restaurants, etc.) that you also have access to is a 5 (ish) minute drive away. - Very close to Eagle Ridge resort spa, restaurants, etc. All staff there were very friendly. - This is outside of Galena. There's a (roughly) 10 minute drive to get into the city. You can take 20 most of the way, but still, roads are twisty, hilly, and very dark at night. Negatives: - Wifi VERY weak! - Window treatments don't keep out much light. Bad for light sleepers. - Towel rack bars fell out all the time. - Unit access instructions misleading. Said "lock box" but it's really a code entry system - no key. Also, said type in code and turn left, but you need to turn right to unlock. To lock, you must type in the code and turn left. Positives: - Easy parking, but may change in peak seasons. - Description says partial river view, but seems like full view from all windows. Maybe w/trees in bloom, view is partially blocked. - Has both a 3 season room (w/fireplace) and an open porch. - Lots of cooking equipment. - Temp controls easy to operate and very responsive. - Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - We showed up to the location, and the key lockbox didn't work at first. So I called the customer service number, there was some sort of malfunction with the customers key box. They were very understanding and gave us the employee lock box so we could enter before I even asked for it. Thanks for that.
