- Verified traveler (10/5): - The place is perfect for vacation/relaxation. We should have stayed only for 1 day but my kids requested for another day. We all love the food, recreational facilities and the rides.
Suggestion: more fruits to serve, please
- MW (10/5): - good food and comfortable stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We weren’t informed that we needed to order the day before for our breakfast. The result , my father who had a knee issue had to walk to the other cafe because there were no more seats available in the resto where we preferred to eat.
- Clare (8/5): Summer fun in dahilayan - It was a great stay as usual. This is actually our 2nd stay in the hotel and summer is really a good time to go there because of the cool weather. Food was not great though😞 and water pressure in the third floor was kinda poor maybe because there were alot of guests but over all it was an awesome stay! I hope dahilayan forest park will consider putting up bonfire during peak season so that guests can experience that too😊
- Sheryl (10/5): Amazing and wonderful stay - We had a fantastic stay.. We really had fun. Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy all rides.. My son was not so happy as base jump wasn't available that time when we're there. But other than that, everything was perfect!! 👌🙏👍
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel was very nice, clean and the bathroom was very nice. I just didn’t like the fact that the free breakfast wasn’t exactly free. The first cup of coffee was free but then they charge 100 pesos for the second and the portion size of breakfast was so small that you’re still hungry and of course it’s an extra cost for anything additional. It just seemed like they are trying to nickel and dime you for everything.
- Ruben (10/5): Surprise! - I booked a room good for 4. It was confirmed. My notification says i have free breakfast for 4 but upon checking in, i was told that i can avail breakfast for two only and the pregnant lady at the reception says they need to 'correct' the 'free breakfast' ad. I told her i was deceived. I even showed her the screenshot showing my book confirmation and the breakfast for 4. ??????? I don't like to spoil my stay with my family so i never bother to insist and debate for the free breakfast. Lesson learned.
- Charo (8/5): - An amazing place to spend the weekend with the family
- Gracia (8/5): - Everything was nice . We will be coming back 😊
- Robert (8/5): Nice, Fun Place to Visit. - The hotel is right in the middle of their large, themed day resort- not tucked away but in the middle of all the action- can be fun if that's what you want. Be sure they don't put you in a room down below that smells and has no windows. Great staff. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Food is good and affordable.
- Mackie (10/5): Great Hotel! - Our entire stay is great except that there is no room service and for a PWD like me, it is tiring to go to the restaurant at the front desk for our meals, rather than it can be served in our room. Hope there are exceptions to the rules.
- Verified traveler (6/5): It was okay - The shower heater will only work if you dont use it often. No mini fridge in the room. We stayed in the family room and one of my daughters stayed in the lower bunk beds but when i sat down with her i hit my head hard on the roof of the bed and got a bad bruise, it was so low, not meant for tall people. Theyd charge if you ask for additional towels so i complained. It would always rain so the staff should prepare umbrellas for the guests but there were none. Check out was so slow even though i called for them to prepare. There were no parking space available inside the gate so it was so inconvenient since we had to go out of the gate just to get the car when it was raining.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Should stay longer next time...
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel inside the Adventure Park - Kids were extra happy to be able to maximize their time inside the adventure park. Staying overnight beats having to rush back to the city.
- Dette (8/5): - Nice view, but the rides is so expensive
- Judyann (8/5): Hotel and nature - It is strategically located at the best area in Dahilayan. It is uphill where you can see, feel and breathe nature. The roads heading there are well paved so it is easily accessible to commuters. The hotel is the extension of nature in Dahilayan with an added comfort and ease. It is a perfect getaway for a family or for any person longing to be away from the city life and to commune with nature.
- Jason (10/5): Adventure - It is adventure park.. kids love it.. we will recommend to anybody..
- Verified traveler (6/5): - customer service is not that great. there was a time where we badly needed a detergent soap because my partners clothes got stained, they were unable to provide our needs or even just provide options to provide help.anyways the room was comfy and there were so clean as well.we have a great experience anyways all throughout. thumbs up!
- Clarabelle (10/5): Relaxing getaway - Great accomodation and staff were super friendly and accomodating. Amenities are very nice too. 3rd time to go there but would still love to visit the place again and again
- Jane (8/5): I love Dahilayan! - It’s a cozy place with forest view... climate is awesome... enjoyed the rides, too!
- ritz (10/5): Nice hotel very spacious and front desk staff are - We enjoyed our stay because the place is so close to nature and verh clean staff are also very helpful
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very very poor reception service when we're checking out!
- Nelpher (2/5): BAD VACATION - My stay in Dahilayan is not good in terms of their service and personnel accommodation......staff are not approachable and not helpfull.....we cannot find our needs and highly commercialized...it seems they do not need guest and ignore our request and inquiries.....
- javb (8/5): Affordable clean and relaxing - The staff are very friendly and accomodating
The rooms are affordable, clean , big, beautiful with bed/pillow/mattresses that can compete with 5dtar hotel
There are many activities for the family and also near the resort walking distance acitivity for the family
The food cheap and passable
Great way to relax and enjoy time with the family
Excellent weather bet 17-20C , clean air and relaxing nature around
- Barry G. (6/5): Escape to the mountains. - The park is really great with lots of things to do for all ages. The hotel is nice- comfortable, clean room, nice shower. The view is nice as well. I enjoyed watching the morning fog rise over the mountains and trees. For a moment it is easy to forget you are in the Philippines and imagine you are someplace else. It rained the day we arrived so we was not able to enjoy the park. In fact when it rains there is nothing to do so plan your trip wisely. Parking is an issue. You must park in a steep gravel lot across the street from the hotel. It was pouring rain when we arrived and we had to climb the hill in the rain with out luggage. Not good. We ate in the park restaurant - good snacks and coffee. The hotel restaurant was ok- typical Pinoy food with minimal effort. Breakfast was for me inedible. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet. It was covered in butter and packed with butter. Overall, this is a good place to bring the family for a day. The scenery is very nice. The park and hotel are well maintained. There is cable TV but with very poor reception and there is no wifi. This was my first stay in the hotel but my third time in the park.
- Loida (8/5): Great stay, would surely come back! - My friends and I had a great time during our stay. The location is obviously far but it was worth it. You don't need to go too far for the attractions, it's there within the hotel sorrounding itself, we really enjoyed riding the luge. The staff were very helpful. The hotel room was clean ang has the basic things to make once stay comfortable. The one thing I hope they could improve is how fast they could serve breakfast, it took them too long to serve our plated breakfast (don't think it would take 30 minutes for egg to be cooked) but the food in itself was good and love that hot choco too. If I am to go back to Dahilayan I would surely still stay in Dahilayan Forest Park Resort.
- Pamela (10/5): RELAXATION at Dahilayan ☁ - This place is perfect for the people who's looking for some relaxation. Too weak room wi-fi and no cable on TV tho :(
- Kenneth (8/5): - very nice place to do adventures.. i do really love the place.
- Fredrique (8/5): Very nice environment. Fantastic food! Amazing bed - -Staff were friendly.
- Cooked food was very good quality. Highly recommended, home made corned beef. Soups were very ideal for the cold weather.
- Food servers needs improvement on customer service. I.e. don't serve a meal yet without cutleries prepared. It was busy and cold in the restaurant, by the time our cutleries arrived, the food was not that hot anymore.
- Rooms were clean yet was not informed ahead that we don't get a tv nor an air conditioning (not that we need it so much, but this is standard in hotels) however, the bed made our room stay, it was amazing!
- my small son enjoyed the playground and the fish pond so much, very nice.
- wifi depends on the weather condition
- Aldrin (8/5): Value for money - The place was breathtaking! The food was great and the rides that the resort offered were al world-class!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall the room was clean but I got disappointed to see pee stains on the water closet lid. Also, there were several ants all over. The food was good but service was bad in terms of speed. We lost a significant amount of time waiting for our order.
- Edwin Ray (6/5): Disappointed but made the most of the time... - First and foremost, we were so disappointed upon learning that the room we paid for was unavailable. We expected the family suite but unfortunately, the hotel did not know about our reservation. We had to wait until the reception personnel found our booking. We ended up with a room that was really difficult for our companions who included two senior citizens and a person with disability.
To add to the disappointment, the lobby/reception area looked like a doctor's waiting area where all you see are chairs. After a 2 hour drive, we expected a more relaxing reception, probably refreshments available but there was only a fastfood-like counter where the line was endless because of the numerous visitors including day use clients.
What realyy consoled us was the weather. Dahilayan is such a beautiful place and the activities available in the hotel and adventure park where amazing.
- Rls (8/5): Fun for children and adults alike. - The restaurant offers a good selection of food and reasonably priced and they have a picnic area where you could bring your own provision. The rides however for older kids are a bit pricey.
- Dafydd (2/5): Never Again - Planned to stay here for 2 nights but left just after one night, as I was so disappointed with the standards and cleanliness of this resort..
The room was nicely decorated but had a terrible smell of damp and mold, the bathroom was even worse with dirty glasses not cleaned or replaced, rusty/ moldy taps and shower heads.
When I informed the front desk staff the only response was to send this information to management, there was no action in sending cleaning to our room to help resolve these issues.
- Marty (8/5): Great setting for a family vacation - Overall, an excellent stay with lots of fun things to do in a beautiful setting. In spite of the reservation stating "Breakfast Included" and paying for a room to sleep 4 (with an extra charge for the 4th occupant) they only wanted to give me 2 breakfasts included daily; I had to argue and push to get the 3rd and 4th included at no charge since that was not specified in the confirmation or stated anywhere on the Hotels.com listing. Food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was quite good and service pleasant. Only complaint was the hot chocolate was too rich (way too much cocoa) and undrinkable, plus no milk available for children! First night, there was no cheese in the kitchen to make pizzas. Also had to request our room to be cleaned after our first night otherwise it appears they would not have come by for fresh towels, etc.
The hot tub is extra charge (50% off for hotel guests) which is weird not to be included.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay and recommend it for family fun.
