• Julie (9/5): Always great to drop into Coolum for a sunny recharge! - Elevated location over Coolum Beach, the 6th floor apartment has a northerly aspect giving us breathtaking views along the coastline to Sunshine Beach. Although old, the apartment was well presented with ample living area and quiet bedrooms. The terrace was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. We didn't have time to enjoy but there is a tennis court, swimming pool and huge gym plus the bonus of a fabulous Indian restaurant on the ground floor. If you are looking for bliss on your next holiday, perhaps trust Clubb Coolum to provide it for you!

• Angelika Maria (2/5): Will never stay again - It was spacious and had everything we needed however it was NOT CLEAN We were in no 2, It was filthy, the dishwasher spelt like vomit with left over food in it, the floor hadn’t been washed, old biscuits under couch, the washing machine had sand and black stuff through it and the patio area was filthy, outdoor chairs covered in grime. The single beds were uncomfortable and with the plantation shutters provided very little privacy and noise control

They won’t let me rate this less than a 4 but I think it deserves a 2.5. The place was dirty, run down and definitely not worth such a large price. The beds were small, it was noisy and the carpark was a literal nightmare. The reception desk was barely ever open and you had to clean up after yourself when you left. Definitely not worth the rating or the price.

Lovely easy process for late arrival and nice touch of music playing softly and lamp on when we arrived in the apartment. Views are outstanding as is the location with just a five minute walk to surf beach and shops. Very clean and nice toiletries and linens. The furniture in the apartment was a little tired and worn, and the kitchen could be better equipped in terms of better quality crockery and glassware and utensils/knives. It was fine for our four night stay as ate out a lot, however the mish mash of plastic and chipped ceramic plates and assortment of plastic and glass drinkware might not suit those who aren’t travelling with young children.

• Menche (9/5): Great find💕 - The location!! Right across from the boardwalk and beach. The distance to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping was so convenient. The hotel two doors down has a restaurant and they play live music on Sundays! Amazing. They have a pool and a tennis court as a bonus. Lovely staff. Our room was lovely too! The games room offered the pool table but after one game, it broke and the balls wouldn’t come out after the money was inserted. There is no mini golf as advertised on the front board of the hotel. The 1st lift was getting upgraded so the one lift was a little slow at times but we just took the stairs as we were on the second floor! The hotel did inform us of the lift issue prior to our stay.

• Cherie (5/5): Great location near the beach, but very poor cleanliness and maintenance. - The only positive aspect of the property was its proximity to the beach, which was very convenient. However, this did not make up for the poor cleanliness and maintenance issues, which were significant and hard to overlook. I was very disappointed with the condition of this property and the lack of proper maintenance. Cleanliness was well below acceptable standards. When we arrived, the toilet had clearly not been cleaned, there was dust on the windows, bins were dirty, and it was obvious that no proper vacuuming had been done and even holes in walls. We even found old toys under the bed, which suggests there had been no deep cleaning at all. Maintenance issues were also a serious concern. There were broken or neglected items throughout the property, including cracked appliances, missing parts on the remote (which is a safety hazard for young children), and damaged areas such as plaster falling from external walls and buildup on the outdoor roof. Around the pool area, there were items left unfixed that posed a safety risk, which was especially worrying. What made the experience more frustrating was the response from staff. Every time we raised these issues, we were simply told ‘we’ll get onto that,’ but nothing was actually resolved during our stay. Overall, the property felt neglected, unsafe in parts, and poorly managed. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to both cleaning and maintenance standards.

Not so clean. The beranda or porch dated and dirty. The sofa pillows old and looks dirty. The pool bubbler not working in the morning.

The room was really dated & old, glass doors didn’t function as they should always got stuck, could open fully. Toilets were dripping & leaking constantly. The lake of garbage bags suppliers (small bags) was pretty poor for an apartment that needed to host 4 adults. Lengthy waits for the one lift working at times. No disability ramps or access only from the underground parking not front the front of the hotel.

Dinner at Bombay Bliss was fantastic. On Tuesday nights they have a butter chicken special for $10.... excellent value. I think it would be a good idea to supply the basics, like toilet paper & dishwashing liquid, based on the length of time the apartment is booked for & given the number of guests. We didn't like having to go & buy these extra items on top of the cost of staying. Also, the 2nd bedroom is extremely tight between the beds....just be aware that you may need ear plugs to sleep.

• Carlee (3/5): Would not stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness and maintenance - Great location The room was very tired, in desperate need of a paint and some repairs but what made it worse was how dirty it was. The walls and doors had dirty marks (hand prints, food drips), the exhaust fans in bathrooms were full of dust, showers had pink mould. The lights in both bedrooms didn’t work (could only use the lamps), the fans made loud noises so couldn’t use them overnight, range hood in kitchen was extremely noisy, fridge looked like it should be at the dump not in a resort apartment kitchen, there was black marks on the 2nd bedroom cornices that looked like mould, holes in the gyprock and cobwebs on the ceiling in the main bedroom. The issues with lack of cleaning was reported to staff and the only thing was was cleaned after reporting this was the cobwebs.

• Timothy (7/5): Wouldn’t rent a ‘partial view’ room here. If you can’t get ‘full ocean view’, look elsewhere. - Location close to beach, restaurants and shopping. The apartment was very nice, spacious and well-fitted. Although our room was described as a ‘partial ocean view’ it was very partial and overpriced for the room price of $340/night. We did not opt for a ‘lower floor’, so were a bit disappointed to be given a room on floor 2 in a 15 storey building. The wi-fi in our room was terrible. We’ve previously stayed here in a room with full ocean view for a lower price, so difficult to justify the cost, considering it was not peak time.

This review is only about Unit 28. The apartment walls and doors need to be repainted. The electrical switches and lights need to be checked and working. The keys for the security doors need to be replaced as neither set would open the security garage. Had to reverse car to allow others access. Person answering emergency number said the keys probably need replacing. It took many attempts over several minutes on each occasion to gain access. This was not good when arriving back late at night. They made no contact to follow up. The crockery was odd pieces and marked from extended usage.

• Elvira (7/5): I loved the resort and the incredible ocean views and would happily stay again, but the dirty areas were disappointing - Fantastic location — the perfect place to unwind after a busy week of work. The views are beautiful, and it’s within walking distance to fast food and coffee shops. Friendly staff. A lovely spot overall. The bedroom windows were very dirty, especially in the main bedroom. When the louvres were opened, they were shockingly dirty and looked mouldy. The ceiling fan had some dust, and most corners behind the furniture were also dusty. In addition, the Wi-Fi did not work on the TV, so we had to use my phone’s hotspot to watch anything. • Tracey (6/5): - Great location, close to shopping and cafes The property was not clean. Sand all over the floor in the living room. Plates had leftover food stuck to them. We found egg shells in cutlery draws. Couch need steam cleaned
• Jodie (9/5): Great stay - Excellent location. Apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Had everything you need. Games room and pool was a hit with the kids. Views are great. Nothing really.
• Sandra (5/5): Enjoyable. - Facilities and location were great. We loved the gym pool and spa. Staff very nice. The unit was grubby. Tiled floors grungy and overdue for a good hard clean. Grunge on walls and doors and around toilets. Fan & light in smaller bedroom stopped working. Aircon in main bedroom dripped water into carpet (notified manager). Just needs a good spring clean 🤨
• Mouse63 (7/5): Apartment owner and admin badly needs a reality check! - Great view, great local, close to the beach and cafes, shops and restaurants. Nice pool and spa. The apartment we stayed is in big need of overhaul! One lift was out of operation for our entire stay. The balcony sliding doors stuck and the curtains in all rooms need to be replaced big time. They were very old and ragged looking. The curtains in the the second bedroom only half covered the windows. I'd like to believe the apartment owner will consider spending some money on their apartment to make it more comfortable for guests as at present it feels like a cop out for the money we spent. Also we had constant drilling from tradies in the apartment next door for over 8 hours on our fourth day which was extremely loud and distracting! I was told by the staff that the drilling should not have been happening that day but that didn't help the fact that we were unable to even relax for most of the day. Some dishes were not clean and the TV didn't work at all. All we could get was SBS music but no actual channels to watch. Seems the last guests may have fiddled with the TV as any instructions to resolve it were all in German and since we arrived on the weekend there was no staff to address the issue. Overall very disappointed.
• Marlena (9/5): Recommended would come back again. - Location of property was excellent with easy access to the beach & town centre. Beautiful Ocean views. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Unit was a little dated & was priced appropriately. It was however clean & had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

• Elisa (10/5): Definitely will book again. - Excellent accommodation and views, walking distance to beach and cafes. Very spacious and clean, and pool and amenities were accessible.

• Becs (9/5): - Handy to beach, cafes and shops. Lovely pool The smell from the Indian restaurant below was overwhelming at times. Lolly wrappers behind beds, lollies under drawers. Kitchen table had food smears around edges.

• Mary-Ellen (9/5): - Great location and awesome views. Plenty of room. We had some issues with the air-conditioning so that was a little disappointing. Otherwise all was great.
• Lynne (7/5): Enjoyable. - Had apartment advertised a restricted view but found this misleading as we were on north side and the outlook was beautiful ocean and mountains. The apartment was run down and in need of refurbishment.

Could not fault the apartment, nor the location and facilities. The view from the balcony was just amazing! We would stay again in a heart beat. Highly recommend! Absolutely nothing.
