• Lindsey (10/5): - Great location less than 10-minute walk to the Palace, Green Market, and bus station, five minutes to Tommy market. Mate and Andrea were easy to communicate with and very cordial. Mate met us the apartment and showed us the area with a map of helpful shops and resources.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - It was my 1st time in Croatia. Upon arrival, we were met by Andrea, who I assume is one of the property managers. She was very informative and helpful in helping us settle in. Overall, her communication with us was beyond helpful. She was available for almost any question and responded respectfully and promptly to our questions; she also went beyond herself and shared information on where we could get COVID tests for our return flights apart from our request. The apartment itself fit our needs. Freezing A/C was nice. Reasonably sized bed, small dining area and bathroom gave us all we needed. There were very minor hiccups, such as towels appearing to have light stains, as well as the bedsheets, but nothing Andrea didn’t solve immediately. The kitchen refrigerator was small but it provided enough storage for basic items like milk, eggs, butter. Cabinet space was adequate but not many dishes to use, therefore, you’ll be washing dishes frequently to use them for meals. Again, not a big deal but just something we noticed after being there a few hours. Plenty of places to eat in the area, tons of things to do especially if you go towards the palace. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d do it all over again without hesitation.

The apartment had everything I needed (fridge, cooker, storage) and was very clean and well-presented (and quiet!). The area the apartment is in is very quiet and safe. Andrea was super helpful, not just in terms of the property but in checking I was ok to get to/from the airport and in suggesting things to do in and around Split. I'd definitely stay here again!

My only complaint is the difficulty in finding the premises. Had it not been for a neighbour we happened upon, we might still be wandering around. The google map offered as an aid was of no value. If you have phone service and access to data/wifi you will succeed.

Andrea was the lady who checked us in. She is wonderful, very informative and helpful. She went above and beyond making sure we had all the information we needed during our stay.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The apartment was spotless and quite spacious. There are 4 apartments and I recommend you ask for the ground floor apartment if you have problems with stairs. Having said that, Andrija was on hand at check in and helped carry our bags up to our apartment on the 3rd level. Not only that but she helped carry them down when we checked out and even organised a taxi to take us to our ferry terminal. The location is only a short walk from the Palace area and the bus station and ferry terminals. Very convenient. We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

It just takes you less than 10 mins to the piers. The host Andrea is very very nice. • Scott (10/5): Fantastic stay! - Room was fantastic, air conditioning was turned on before our arrival, so the room was nice and a cold! Location was really good, 5 minute walk to the bakers, supermarket, and 10 minutes into the old town! Hosts were really nice, messaged us before we arrived with their contact details, and even left us a local mobile phone to use! Maté was really helpful, helped us with our bags and showed us everything on the map, and recommended a few restaurants for us to visit! Highly recommend their place!
• Nicole (10/5): Good location, modern apartment - The apartment is within easy walking distance of both the port and old town and there's also a supermarket nearby. The apartment was very clean with new furniture, a very nice modern bathroom and a small kitchen. We were on the top floor which was up 2 flights of stairs, which was ok for us, but I was sometimes concerned about accidentally falling down the stairs in the middle of the night as there was quite a large area just in front of the bed. I don't know if anything could be placed here in future for safety. We were welcomed at an agreed time and the host gave us plenty of information and even provided a mobile phone if we needed to contact her, which was a nice touch. I would recommend staying here.

• Fiona (10/5): Fantastic apartments - These apartments are in a great location, close enough to walk into the centre of Split with a 24 hour bakery and a supermarket close by. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the apartments were amazing (we had 3 of the 5 so got to see most of them). They were modern, really clean and the shower was amazing! It was oerfect for our long weekend away

Shower was small and nowhere to put shampoo etc except on floor.. need a shelf in shower. Was met by agent who was waiting for us. She had things already filled out on map in wonderful detail. Gave us tips on where to eat and what not necessary to do. Only had short time there and took Portal trip to Dubrovnik. I have had knee surgery and legs not great. Was worried about a 13 hours day. Went easily and body coped well. Highly recommend it for anyone. Igor, our guide, was the perfect. Time passed easily with Igir’s Commentary and scenery. Very comfortable in unit. Like everywhere I think all beds need mattress toppers in Europe. Thank you.

• Stephen (10/5): Welcome home (that's how I felt) - We were met at the door upon our arrival and a map was given to us outlining some of the better restaurants, markets and sites in the vicinity. We were also given a free mobile phone to use if there was ever any problems or concerns. We did not have to use it as all was great. It was the cleanest and most comfortable room we stayed in in our entire 2 1/2 week trip to Croatia. 5 minute walk to the east gate of old town of Split.

The apartment was always well cleaned, everything was fully functional including the kitchenette and air conditioning. We were welcomed to our apartment by our friendly guide Andrea, who was very informative and gave us a detailed explanation of split and advised us on where to go out/ places we could enjoy. We were also provided with a Croatian mobile phone for our stay in case of emergency. I would definitely recommend Split Oasis and I look forward to staying there again in future!

Arrival information communicated with the owner apparently did not get passed on to reception so there was confusion with arrival but all got sorted out in the end and the reception staff were exceptional
• Mimi (6/5): this is NOT a hotel - First of all it is not a hotel. It is an apartment and while we thought we were getting two apartments side by side, they were an upstairs and a downstairs. Since it is NOT a hotel, there were no baggage carriers, but the worst part of this is the parking. The area is a maze of alleys and streets and it took us over an hour to locate the place driving through the narrowest streets with cars parked everywhere. We had tried to download a map online but could not download it. The good part is that it is walking distance to the palace and shoreline. Also the apartment was spotless but it could use new pillows, they were really poor. I gave the hotel staff a 1 only because I had to put something in that space or it would not let me submit this, but not being a hotel--there WAS no staff.

It was exactly as described The only small suggestion is perhaps you could provide a little more than one cup of coffee each in the drinks making supplies. Thank you.
• gordon (10/5): Modernised, Clean and spacious. - Very helpful owner and staff, with good advice on a range of issues including restaurants, money exchange etc. The apartment was in nicely refurbished building in a residential area a few minutes walk from the centre. It was well furnished, very clean and regularly serviced. there were several windows around three sides of the apartment which made it feel bright and airy as well as having modern air-con.

Good location, handy for the port and old town in a quiet street. A nice walk to the old town (5 mins) if you go uphill and take a left down the pedestrian street.

• Francisco (8/5): Great place, convenient location - This was a great place to stay. Very clean, modern and with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. Location is convenient, close to port and short walk to old town. The only thing is make sure you arrange your check-in time in advance as there is no permanent person at the location to check you in. They tried contacting me a day prior to my arrival but I was already traveling and my phone had no service so I was on aware I needed to pre-arrenge a check in time. When I arrived there was a phone number posted on the door which I needed to find a phone to call that number, it made it a little difficult but once I called they very quickly came and open the place for me. Will recommend this place and will stay there again.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent standard and cleanliness. - A bit difficult to find to begin with as the roads are very small in Split. However thanks to the excellent staff members we eventually found the hotel which is close to the main port and the old palace walls.
• Russell (10/5): Modern apartment close t all amenities - This is a lovely modern apartment, spotlessly clean and close to everything Split has to offer. We were able to have fresh bread every morning from the local bakery and then head for the beach, the forest, the shopping centre, the ferry or the bus, just where ever we decided to go that day. We came back late afternoon, got showered and changed and then walked into the city for dinner and drinks. Andrea who welcomed us on arrival, provided us with a city map and lots of useful information and was very helpful in arranging a late departure from the apartment as we had a late flight home.

• Sheena (10/5): Wonderful spot! - This hotel is perfectly located next to the Diocletian Palace area, a very short 5-minute walk away. The raid to the hotel is in the old part of the city, so navigating that tiny road for a few hundred meters was hair-raising, but the staff guided us, met us and gave us a parking spot right next to the building. The apartment was spacious and very modern. The shower was a little tight, but doable. The staff was incredibly helpful, privindibh area maps with highlights marked and a long list of recommended places to visit, to eat, and to grab a drink. I would definitely stay here again!

Good kitchen facilities if you want to cook. Highly recommended. We used the airport transfer which was super easy but it's only 5 minutes walk from the town and airport shuttle bus stationWould stay again.

It was easy to find and Mate was excellent with communication through Whatsapp. We arrived slightly late but Mate and Andrea were waiting outside for us. Andrea was great in showing us the best locations to visit in Split and recommended restaurants to try. I would definitely recommend staying here!
• Mary (10/5): Great place to stay - Great apartment in an excellent location just minutes away from harbour and the old town. The staff were excellent and provided good info on places to eat and see. Modern light clean and comfortable apartment. Cannot fault this place.
• Teresina (8/5): - The owner is so nice to provide a bottle of wine and chocolates to welcome us. They also provide us a local mobile which is very convenient. Mate gave us a good explanation of the surrounding and made us feel comfortable immediately. Location is perfect as it is within walking distance to the Dalmatian City and the port. The bed is comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The downside are only one standard hotel bath gel was provided for 2 people for our 4 nights stay and we can hear noises from neighbours and the street. Also, we think it is dangerous for young children or older people to stay in room 3 as one can easily fall down the stairs if not careful.
• rob (10/5): Oasis Apartments (room 3) May 2017 - Lovely, clean, well maintained property in a quiet location although only a 5-6 minute walk from the Riva, Palace, coach stops. Only 10 mins from the beach too. Highly recommended.

• Amy Siu may (10/5): Excellent and friendly service - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very modern and clean apartment in a quiet backwater in the centre of Split. The English-speaking owner welcomed us on our arrival and gave us a personal resume of the city's history and amenities (including recommending a very good restaurant). This was our first visit to Croatia and left us with pleasant memories of the country and its people. We would highly recommend the Oasis Apartments to anyone visiting Split.

Right from two days prior, when we were messaged to organize check-in and advised on location/distance from the port, etc. (as we took the ferry from Dubrovnik.) Margareta was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating! The room was large and bright, with a modern bathroom, kitchenette and ample mirror space. Also, we were walking distance to the Palace and the beach! Lots of places to eat and drink nearby.

• Brett (10/5): Great location, elegant space - We stayed for three nights and thought the apartment was outstanding. It has a modern feel in an historic building, well-restored and a good bathroom. Margareta was extremely helpful, met us at the ferry and gave us great local advice. The mobile phone was a great touch, and we loved the apartment. It was close to Diocletian's Palace and the waterfront, but very quiet.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, modern smart apartment - This apartment is located only five minutes walk from the centre of Split, and easily accessible from the Port, Bus and Railway stations. The apartment is very well presented with a modern feel and excellent new bathroom. The owner arranged an airport transfer for us and also gave us some useful local information and friendly advice of where to visit in Split. Definitely recommended.

• Stephen (8/5): Hard to find - The apartment was very difficult to find. A taxi let us off nearby and we dragged our bags over cobbled streets and up and down stairs before we found it. The girl who greeted us was very sweet and it was an easier downhill walk into the town and harbour. Room was comfy but neighbourhood was fairly noisy.
• Joanna (10/5): What a gem! - We travelled to split for a friends wedding. The oasis apartments appeared to be in a good location and we weren't wrong. Everything was in easy reach. Although not a traditional hotel with reception desk, we were in contact by email to arrange our arrival, including transfer from the airport, and Margareta was easily contacted with any questions. Lots of info and local knowledge shared at check in too! All in - fab, modern, clean room with the bonus of mini kitchen facilities. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to split.
• Peter (10/5): Split - I received a welcome email before departing on our trip. Included in the email was an offer of helping with the transfer from the airport. I decided to take up this offer and I was glad that I did. The price was very good and we picked up at the airport and dropped off at the apartment. We were greeted by the owner on arrival. We had to pay the for transfer which is not an issue. we were shown around the apartment and how everything worked: the air conditioning, TV appliances and were shown the security arrangements. The apartment was clean and well maintained and provided a perfect base for what we wanted to do while we were in Split. We enjoyed three days in Split which was part in due to the accommodation being clean and centrally based. We had an early departure which we made clear on arrival. They were very receptive to our needs and made arrangements where to leave the keys.

• Dianne (8/5): - The apartment was spacious for one room, but not really an apartment. There was only a bathroom and one other room. It was close to the Diocletian's Palace and clean, but unlike a hotel it is not serviced daily and did not supply toiletries.
• Cheryl (10/5): Convenient location, quiet, clean - We spent 2 nights at the Oasis. Margareta met us at the apartment to let us in & gave us a great overview of the area. She was very thorough giving us information on local restaurants & even where to locate laundry facilities. A nice touch - she gave us a mobile for local calling. The apartment was great. We were on the upper floor. It was well layed out for the floor space. Everything was very clean & well cared for. It was just a 5-10 minute walk over to the Palace. All the restaurants were easy to find. (Some of them were cash only.) There was one parking spot which we used. It was a little difficult to pull our car up on the cement slab but we managed. Only recommendation would be to use plumper pillows!

• linda (10/5): Fabulous location - We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Split Oasis apartments. The room was spotlessly clean and had been newly reburbished. We met with Mate who gave us a full description of the room at its facilities, as well as advice on what to see and do, including where to dine. He sent us to a really lovely and very reasonably priced Italian restaurant called Apetit, in the environs of Diocletian's Palace. He even provided us with a local mobile phone in case we needed to contact him during our stay. We would suggest contacting the Split Oasis apartments in advance of your stay to arrange a time and place to meet as we had a little difficulty finding it but it is in a fantastic location for the beach and the Palace. We would definitely stay there again.
