• Martina (7/5): Near the beach - The apartment has a large terrace and is located near the beach. However, the nicer beach is a few minutes’ walk further away. Most of the restaurants are also a bit further away. The parking lot next to the building is great. The apartment’s furnishings are rather basic.

The apartment is just a short walk from the beach, with Flic-en-Flac easily one of the nicest beaches in Mauritius. It offers a rare mix of tranquillity and a genuine local feel, rather than a resort-only atmosphere. The sunsets are simply stunning - truly out of this world. We were lucky enough to experience them from the water in the evening, with the sea at a perfect temperature. Being so close to the beach makes moments like this effortless. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable, well equipped, and ideal as a base for both relaxing and exploring. What really stands out is the hospitality. We had an unexpected situation during our stay, and the support we received made a huge difference. That level of care is priceless. We would happily stay here again and strongly recommend it.

• Pavlo (10/5): It was a stress-free vacation, thanks to the caring hosts. - The property is in fantastic location, close to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets. We stayed in the penthouse and it was nice and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts are fantastic. They organised transfer to/from airport, helped us to hire a care by a very competitive rate, got us a local SIM card. If you plan to visit Mauritius, don’t hesitate to book this property - you will not regret it. There isn’t anything specific. All was good.

It’s a fair distance to the beach aprox 200m, but you should walk about 15 min to reach a better beach location and restaurants. Even if is close to the main road the walk isn’t the nicest experience. Not dangerous … just a little bit annoying for us carrying a stroller. The apartment could use serious renovations and appliances updgrades.

• Monika (8/5): Good value for money - The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have two bathrooms. We loved the terrace (although a little bit more shade would be great). There's a big fridge and all appliances. The owner was very friendly and helpful, gave us great advice about restaurants and trips, and she kept us updated about cyclone news. We would've really appreciated having a vacuum cleaner, because it was very difficult to keep the apartment clean with just a broom. In the front part, the roof is partly open, which makes it easy for various small animals to come in, but also keeps the apartment well ventilated. There are also ants in the kitchen.

The terrace outside the flat was very big and had a view over mountains. The landlord Anjy was very helpful and it was very easy to get in contact with her via WhatsApp. There was no number of the houses on the street so it was a bit difficult for some taxi drivers to find the house.

• Melanie (10/5): Good and hassle free stay in Flic en Flac - The accomodation is close to the beach. Clean and almost everything required while on holidays is available. Restaurants are also within walking distance. Host was very helpful. Though the price differ around the island, some areas cheaper and others more expensive, I would say value for money for something (in a central region like Flic en Flac ) close to the beach and other facilities.

The apartment is close to supermarkets, food trucks and restaurants - all just a short walk away. We appreciated that this was not only a tourist location but a beach well frequented by locals, especially over the weekends. The hosts were amazing and took great care that we enjoyed our stay. We stayed 6 nights in the one bedroomed apartment which although small was very comfortable, overlooking beautiful coconut palms with a hint of a view of surrounding mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, and had everything we needed. the aircon worked excellently and was much needed in November's heat. The internet was excellent. We stayed one night in the spacious penthouse apartment where we enjoyed the views of the mountains, the starry night sky and sunrise from its expansive terrace.

We had 2-bedrooms one on the top floor with nice terasse which might a bit hot in the morning 😉 which is however great to have a take-away from nearby Indian resto on in the evening. It has also a nice view. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. 3mins walk to the beach, easy parking. There was a small problem with water, we sent a message and it was immediately resolved. in short - easy 10 et definitely can recommend.

The owner takes good care of the bathroom supplies, there is a good set of appliances and cutlery in the kitchen. Furniture is modern and comfy, bed linen is fresh. The apartment is located in quiet neighbourhood, in closest proximity to the beautiful beach (Flic en Flac), one of the best in Mauritius. The restaurants and stores are abound nearby. The owner is very hospitable, attentive and responsive, easy to keep in touch. The upcoming and leaving arrangement are simple and well thought-out. Highly recommend for the short and long stay.

Located in a quiet street, just a few minutes walk from the beach. And best of all: Angy, the manager was fantastic. Always helpful with everything. Just message her, and she will help you with everything from getting you a driver for the day, arrange a pick up, boat trip, get you extra bed, linen or towels. A perfekt stay for exploring the wonderfully island of Mauritius.

Comfortable bed, fully equiped kitchen. The Hosts are very friendly and helpful, even in the time after our stay in Flic en Flac. Something with the flush of the toilet was wrong, we could handle it, but it should get fixed for future guests.
