We ordered baby octopus, too chewy and not tasty at all. Fish and chips,….not really the battered fish you are thinking of-the name is misleading. Pool is small and only 4 beds. The A/C didn’t work in both rooms. We asked for help, the maintenance person came, looked and never came back. The rooms smell of mold, it was stifling,
• Евгений Евва (6/5): - Из плюсов - близость к морю, реально через дорогу, чистый бассейн, и хороший персонал, который старается сгладить минусы отеля и старается решить проблемы комнаты подуставшие, снаружи отель красивый и чистый, а внутри комнаты уже заезженные, ремонт, хотя бы косметический им бы не помешал, ванная комната вообще старенькая, душевые краны разболтаны и чувствуется запах плесени, входные двери до конца не открываются, потому что сама дверь покосилась, завтрак так себе, выбор очень слабенький и кофе растворимый, есть кофе машина, но там кофе за отдельную плату. В общем, на троечку по пятибалльной пойдёт.

• Graham (8/5): Great hotel fir a relaxing beach holiday. - The beachfront location was wonderful with uninterrupted views of the sea. The hotel has a simple rustic charm. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice, although a bit limited was really good as quite different from the usual fare offered in most hotels. Food was really good in the restaurant at night with a varied menu and delicious cocktails. I especially liked the unlimited cold water from the stations on each floor meaning no plastic bottles. If you want a get a peaceful beach holiday then I recommend it, but there's not much else to do in Kep apart from the mountain behind which was great for sunset photos. Tuk Tuks available to take you a 40 min trip to Kampot if you wanted more vibe and things to see and do. The bathroom could do with some TLC especially the shower area. Had to take care with the shower as its a pump system and could get very hot very quickly but OK once you got used to it.

• Joel (9/5): Would I go back? Probably for the view, but there are other newly constructed hotels in the area now - The Saravoan-Kep Hotel is very popular with YouTubers and before going there, I viewed reviews of it by no less than three YouTube influencers. However, unlike them, I did not tell the staff that I write reviews and I did not get any kickbacks for writing this. This is my honest opinion based on my own experiences. Keep reading until the end because the last one is a zinger. Ok, so we’re outside of Phnom Penh for one thing, which means that some things get more relaxed, and other things are not available. The Saravoan also sits right on Kep Beach, so this is one of the main reasons you are probably staying there. You can literally step out of the hotel, cross the road, and you’re on the beach. I also stayed in a Superior Double Room with a gorgeous view of the ocean, and I would often sit on my veranda, or stand near the glass doors enjoying the vast expanse of the ocean, and the surrounding islands. We stayed there for five nights, which was probably too long. By this time, we’d eaten all the different kinds of street food, and tried the local restaurants. The array of seafood is impressive but by the end of it, I was craving a ham sandwich just from something different. The first thing you’ll notice about the Saravoan is the stairs, especially if you have to carry your own bags, which I did some of the way. We were on the third floor, which meant walking up and down the stairs all the time, and I carried our bags down the stairs when we were checking out. This place is not for those who are mobility impaired. The room itself is a bit of a concrete box but the view is spectacular. You are asked not to leave food on the veranda because it will attract the monkeys. Also, you should not leave your veranda door open because the monkeys will get inside and make a mess. We saw monkeys at the hotel, and heard them fighting on the roof, which was cool but it is definitely something you need to be wary of. The pool was very small. You can swim laps but it is not very wide, so if anyone else hops in the pool and is not swimming laps as well, you can forget about using it for exercise. Breakfast involves choosing something from the menu and most of it is a bit bland. The bacon and eggs comes with only one rash of bacon. In fact, everything the restaurant makes suffers from the same problem – its overpriced and the portions are small. Getting a second coffee was a major ordeal. If you only asked for coffee, you would not get any milk. Sometimes, they did not have enough to go around – as if a daily breakfast came as a surprise to them and they forgot to make the coffee. Some days, I gave up and just had one coffee before going to the café or making a second one in my room. When I asked for a second coffee the staff were obviously not pleased and did not try to hide it. Other people commented on their facial expressions being so rude. She was obviously dissatisfied with her job and played with her phone a lot rather than looking after customers.

The bathroom a little basic but very functional and continuous hot water. The restaurant was well placed to enjoy the ocean view. The pool was a decent size and very clean. The hotel manager extremely helpful and arranged transport for us as required. The restaurant appeared to run out of certain foods and beverages. Management were notified to help rectify this.

• Matheus (10/5): I loved Saravoan-kep hotel - Amazing, incredible, exceptional. We stayed in loads of 5 star hotels throughout Cambodia and hands down, Saravoan was the best we stayed. The staff was so lovely. They are definitely what made our stay so incredible. Please, if you even go to kep, don't forget to visit Rabbit Island. It was one of the many highlights from Cambodia. Kep beach is not the best beach but you don't go there for the beach but to experience the culture.

• Rhongrattz (10/5): Great hotel in a great location - We absolutely loved our stay here. From easy check-in, lovely staff, beautiful rooms that are spacious & clean. Close to everything you need, but staff are helpful if you have a question. We will return. Loved everything.
• CARLOS (10/5): Excellent hotel and wonderful staff - Saravoan Hotel is perfectly located right on the beachfront, with stunning sea views from our room. The room and bathroom were spotless and well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The receptionist was delightful and professional, always greeting us with a warm smile. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome and at home. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options, and the service was outstanding. The restaurant also offered a wide selection of delicious dishes — we enjoyed it so much that we had dinner there three times. The bar service was also excellent and very friendly. We would definitely love to return next year and spend more days at this wonderful hotel with such fantastic people.

• Djamal (8/5): Un bon hôtel qui serait parfait avec une maintenance plus sérieuse. - L’amabilité de la gérante et du propriétaire, ainsi que celle du staff. De manière générale les équipements ne sont pas entretenus: la colonne de douche et le robinet du lavabo ont besoin d’être changés, trop vieux, fuyards et support de douchette cassé. Les fissures apparentes sur les murs font peur, il manque une table basse dans la chambre et le vieux climatiseur est largement sous dimensionné. Les moisissures et le manque d’aération dans la salle de bains, la serrure de la porte de la chambre qui coince une fois sur deux

• Yadanar (8/5): Very good - The location is superb, just by the sea and the view from your room, from the Hotel is amazing. Rooms are not modern design nor new. They look like the rooms from the 1980s but it is still cozy and comfortable. . The furniture on the balcony is not well maintained. It would be more lovely with decent furniture on the balcony to enjoy the view. . Hotel provided good breakfast and food from hotel bar is also good and reasonable price. Generally, I enjoyed my stay there and I would like to go there again. One thing I don't like about the hotel is that a hair dryer is not provided in the room. Amenities are so basic, only toothbrush and toothpaste are there. But it was ok for me. It could be a bit noisy on the weekend as so many locals come to the beach and the beach is full of people and the hotel is just by the sea, by the road

• Jane (8/5): Great location - Great location overlooking the sea close to where the bus from Kampot dropped us off. Great views from the balcony. Water machine on every floor. Powerful hot shower. Good quality towels and linen. Able to store luggage prior to check-in. We only had coffee and fruit juice but the breakfast looked good. No response to communication via Booking.com prior to arrival. The sliding door to the balcony was really difficult to move. Only one chair on the balcony. One day put out the "please clean room" sign, nothing happened. Only 4 sunbeds which were monopolised by people in the adjacent rooms with their personal towels on two of them even when they weren't around.
