• Coquina (7/5): Fairly comfortable and does what it needs to do. - Good space for the single room, fairly comfortable. It was really great that they provided two pillows! A lot of places only give you one so they were fairly generous. The room for a single is very spacious, couples rooms looked good too. The outlet charger was next to the bed and worked just fine. Only real con was that my window did not look out to the street view so no natural sunlight, pitch black is good for sleeping though. No coffee pot and the microwave needed to be re-plugged in. Would have appreciated a main room for guests to gather an work in.

• Addict (10/5): Es lohnt sich auf jeden fall. - Das Preisleistungsverhältniss war sehr toll, ja es ist dreckig und klein, aber dafür zahlt man wirlklich wenig. Dafür da sman so wenig zahlt kriegt man mehr als genug. Das Personal war immer nett und hilfsbereit. Auch wenn die Chungking mansions ein komischer ort ist, ist es ein erlebnis. Außerdem zahlt man wenig für ein Hotel in einer sehr sehr guten lage für touristen. Es war dreckig, schimmlig im ganzen gebäude, und als allein reisende Person (besonders als Frau) fühlt man sich warscheinlich unwohl. Aber das liegt nicht an dem Hotel oder an der Unterkunft sonden an der Umgebung. Kakerlaken

Лифт не всегда работает и тогда вы поймете по лестнице. Я не понимаю, как букинг разрешает регистрировать такие опасные помещения, я не могу назвать это отелем. Запах курева, очень шумно, холодно, влажно.

A little complex to find, lift has limited space. Not my kind of area, extremely busy location, ok for one night I suppose but no more.

I had to insist with the manager that it was not acceptable. He proposed a refund, which I promptly refused as I needed a place to sleep, not the money. He then moved us to another room on a different Block. The following day, he was already trying to move us back to another room. Never again.

Booked for Deluxe junior suite which supposed to have 2 bedrooms with 4 double beds and 1 single bed (as advertised) but was only given 2 double beds only upon check-in! Checked-in before 2am which the hostel was informed prior hand and confirmed, but when we arrived, noone was in the reception.

• Chinkynitan28 (1/5): Quality vs Being on a Budget - It was very close to all shopping establishments and restaurants. The AC was working well. There was only 1 small elevator that can take you to the 12th floor. We were suprised once it took us to our floor level because the wires were hanging from the ceiling. It looked like a scene from a horror flick. We had difficulty getting a staff to assist us to check in. The rooms my family and I got had no windows in the bedroom, but a small window in the bathroom. The bedsheet had questionable stains and fresh towels were not provided on a daily basis. The shower also serves as a bidet. It was really difficult to get hold of the staff so best to get their contact number when you check in. If you don't mind compromising quality and comfort over saving a few bucks, then give it a shot.
• Chinkynitan28 (1/5): Don't be fooled with the pics... do thorough research - The AC was cool enough since it can be quite humid outside. The place is very accessible to different shops, train stations and restaurants. The staff is not easily reachable when you need something. We kept knocking on the door, but no one answered. There was a time we had asked for help, but the guy was rude for some reason. We were a big group of family and we were really looking forward to a great stay but the room is not the type you can really relax, nor you would want to stay for long period of time. One of my family members woke up with his left eye swollen as if there was an insect that bit him. My brother had a suspicious looking bump on his forearm which looked like a boil which wasn't there prior to our trip. My daughter's bed had some stain which they had to use a blanket to cover it up. We were expecting the sheets and towels to be replaced daily, but it wasn't. My aunt tried to contact the staff but no obe was answering. My father has difficulty using the stairs but had to because only 1 elevator was going to the 12th floor. There is always a long line to wait to get to the elevator. It's too bad that the only great thing here has nothing to do with the accommodation but that it is situated in a great place.

• LONILIZA (2/5): - We booked the hotel in advance and when we arrived the guy told us our room is cancelled bcuz they’re fully book and if we want room he can give us with a higher price! He left us in the office and he never come back and he blamed everything to Expedia. I never received a cancellation at all and I showed to that guy on the website and apps that there’s no cancellation at all and it said “our room is booked and exited to see you soon” The guy very unprofessional and they are scam because they want more money! What’s the use of booking a room and at the end u don’t have a room to sleep. And this Leisure Hostel cancelled it and want us to book for more money!!!! This is the very worst bad experience I have in my entire life. If you try to stay or book on this place DONT DO IT the place is not safe and you think your life is in danger. The pictures they advertise looks good but it’s the other way around when u see in person. I hope it will not happen to all people who trying to book this place. The place around is unhealthy, dirty, smells very bad, and the people there are scam.
