Guest Reviews
- Angela (8/5): - Cabin was clean and comfortable. Ac was great.
Pool was very clean and fun. Our location of the cabin was a bit far from everything
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The cabin was great and there was a lot to do. very relaxing and nice people
- Jo (8/5): It was clean, convenient, and pet friendly and had a pool, cafe and activities. - It was clean, in a good location and was pet friendly. The brochure said every cabin had an enclosed porch and a patio with a grill. It did not. You had to bring your own sheets and towels.
- Kathleen (9/5): Superb - The only thing that was frustrating was that we thought we would be upfront but we were way in the back far from the pool and the festivities with seniors visiting it was tough to get around just the wrong location this app had us believing we were in model 11 and that’s just not the case
- Cathryn (9/5): It was a great and relaxing stay. I just wish the weather would have been better. - The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Conklin (5/5): Not happy - Cabin was nice and clean. There was plenty of room with dogs. The internet was terrible, and so was the TV system . For 188.00 a day, we should have a great network and cable company for TV.
The water was terrible, and there was a lot of sulfur in the water. We had to go buy water due to dogs and also us got the runns.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - An excellent campground with many of amenities and trails around. Pool is a huge plus for summer! My cabin condition is almost brand new; check in process is pretty easy. They will provide all the info you need.
- David (6/5): Dave - Be careful I was unaware that bedding, and towels were not provided. This is not a hotel or cabin, it is a vacant park model with a bad sewer system.
- Amy (6/5): Rustic cabin...emphasis on rustic. - Supposedly had a deluxe cabin rented. Saw other cabins that fit the description of what we signed up for. The cabin we got was really tight for 4 adults and one young adult. But...we had doors...and a little privacy...even though we had to play musical doors to get us around the cabin. This was rustic but for us still decent considering that this group typically camps...in tents...in the woods...at the end of a trail. One downfall was the faint smell of the rvs around us and their dump hoses. One benefit was being able to have a campfire. Some of the windows had no screens so thankfully it wasn't too buggy. There is heat throughout and ac in the living room area. Plus we had a small kitchen and were able to make ourselves breakfast each day. If you are high maintenance and only enjoy the "finer" things, this place is not for you. If you like camping but are getting a little old for laying on the floor of the forest, prefer actually having a real roof, with a full shower and a kitchen with a real stove and sink, like us, I'd definitely recommend this place.
- todd (6/5): Decent place to sleep - Our cabin was extremely small, which did not fit my 6'3" husband well. It was clean, but minimal amenities (no tv, spotty wifi, cold at night). Some of the staff was sweet and some were not at all. It was a fine place to sleep, but I do not intend to stay here again.
- Donna (6/5): A family-happy place - I liked the campground - the people were very nice and all the guests we met were friendly. Our site was missing a fire pit, and the oven in our cabin didn't work. The sites are very close together.
It was affordable, offered activities for the kids, and was a great place to hang out hats while visiting the duchess county fair. We will come back.
