• Soumya (10/5): - Great stay at nominal price. Floors throughout the hotel are made of some sort of smooth rocks like marble or granite. When it is covered with dust, it becomes quite slippery.
• Raj (10/5): - Very centrally placed decent hotel to stay. Clean, quite property and friendly helpful staff.
• Galen (8/5): Great location with amazing housekeeping. - Housekeeping was the best aspect. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. They did a great job cleaning.

• Rajesh (6/5): Inefficient room service - The hotel room was good however the room service was poorly managed as either they managed to provide ordered items to incorrect rooms or they missed the service until we reminded them. Internet connection was really bad. They provided coffee two times that were spoiled without checking.

• ShankarRaman (8/5): Second time not so lucky.. - This is the second time I am staying in this hotel. The first time had a great experience but not so this time. Breakfast as usual was good. Service as usual good. The room allotted was next to the road and hence road noise percolated into the room till 10:30pm. Morning as usual was noisy. A great disappointment was TV. I could watch only free sports channels which meant was not able to watch India vs Australia test match. With a 3 star rating you expect at least this much to be done.

• Indraneil (8/5): - Hotel was good. However, TV could not be watched as new service provider was introduced at the hotel but set up was not good. Besides this rate given to me by Expedia and rate charged by hotel did not match. Hotel charged me more. I had to pay Rs. 4000 more. I will lodge an official complain about this.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Diamond hotel Bhelupur Varanasi - Hotel is decent and the rooms are well maintained and taken care of. The Wi-Fi did work at all and inspite of repeated feedback to rectify it, the hotel staff were not able to attend to it. In today's world this is a major negative for the hotel. Rest of the hotel is fine.
• Nirnimesh (10/5): Excellent stay - Staying at Diamond hotel, is always amazing. The staff is very helpful and hospitality is at par with 5-star hotels. The food is excellent and never gave me or my family any issues. The rooms are always clean and have no issues
• MOHIT (6/5): Ok rooms poor wifi but good location - Hotel was nice but the staff was not well trained. Breakfast was very simple and just ok. Wifi was horrible - it was slow and was not working for 2 days. Even after complaining it was not addressed. Good point is the location which is next to the mall. The rooms are clean but tad old looking.
• Verified traveler (6/5): No peace and quite at all - The hotel presents well and check in was fine, except we were given 2 singles rather than than the king advertised.Problem was rectified within 15 mins.The noise of 1, the street, 2 being woken at 5am and 6 am by call to prayer (if we had known a mosque was so close we would not have booked here)3 By far the worst was the rude person in a close room who contiually walked the corridor in the early morning talking on his phone. The breakfast menu had no food suitable for western taste bar a bit of fruit some cornflakes and eggs. They do not serve any alcohol at all.We were the only Caucasians inthe hotel during our stay. Would not recommend.

Front desk crowded most of time with single person attending to customers; Room not cleaned/serviced every day; Safe deposit locker did not work and the one who could fix never came in 2 days; restaurent service takes time if there are more than 4 out of 10-15 tables occuped; cannot set temperature in room even though AC works, blanket for twin size bed small where imagine cold room with not fully covered body due to not decent size blanket...

• ShankarRaman (10/5): Good Hotel for stay - Booked the hotel after looking at the reviews. Stayed for 5 nights. Good points : Close to the gullies of Varanasi but on a main road. Service is excellent but the people are very tight-lipped (as Wodehouse would have said "Stiff upper lip"). However one of the best stays and I enjoyed every bit of it. Negative point : But being in the main road has its own disadvantages of noise pollution. Suggestion: Probably a room at the back of the Hotel would be good. No complaints on stay.

• Verified traveler (6/5): The Hotel reception is very unfriendly. - The hotel reception desk is very unfriendly. Doesn't know how to treat guests. Though room was okay, the management staff was not courteous. We are asking some question about the local places, but the guy at the reception desk did not offer any information on local interest. He was just there to collect payments.

• kelly (4/5): Sort of rude front desk. - Be careful with this hotel. If you book for a week, and decide like I did to cancel your room prematurely because of the noise, even if you tell them ahead of time several days in advance, they will not let you out of the reservation. The rooms were pretty nice, but the noise level was insane.
• Samir (6/5): Mediocre hotel - I was there for three nights. Hotel staff is friendly. I had reservation for 3 persons in a room. The third bed was not a regular bed, and was a roll away bed that was not suitable for sleeping an adult. The additional charge for the third person was substantial though. I came back with a back pain. The shower curtain did not extend all the way down to the shower area partition curb. The bathroom floor got flooded after every shower. The hotel staff is apparently aware of the problem, and still rents the room. The hotel is very stingy on number of towels. They gave us only 2 bath towels and one hand towel. I had to request an extra bath towel and one hand towel every day. Breakfast area is very small and we had to eat breakfast in hotel lobby area on occasions. Often there were short supply of silverware in the breakfast area. Breakfast items are very limited. Dining hall is nice. Food preparations were not very good. Overall the place is okay for a short stay but I will probably look elsewhere next time.

• INJA (8/5): 습기는 심하나 okay수준의 호텔 - 더블룸보다 트윈룸 추천. 겐자스강 때문인지 상당히 습기가 심했음. 건물도 전체적으로 오래되었음. 하지만 트윈룸에서 묵는다면 바라나시의 다른 호텔들과 비교했을 때 괜찮은 편임. 규모도 좀 있고, 도로가에 있어서 이동하기도 편하고. 길거리 릭샤기사들도 다 이 호텔을 알기 때문에 이동하기 용이함. 호텔가격에 아침/저녁에 포함되어 있어서 따로 레스토랑 찾지 않고 편하게 식사할 수 있음. 직원들도 친절한 편임.

• DREW (10/5): Nice hotel - While the hotel is a little faded, it is clean, and the rooms are huge. If you want a tour, skip the desk downstairs, and visit the hostel around the corner.

• Alun (6/5): Dry hotel, decent value for money - Restaurant is poor and dry too. But the rest of the hotel is adequate enough. Clientele is Indian middle class. 150 rupee and 20 mins from railway. Varanasi is filthy even by Indian standards.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Wouldn't call it a diamond - The hotel is very overpriced, I would say two to three times what it should be for what one gets, but this seems to be typical for Varanasi these days, unfortunately. The wifi did not function at all, except for in the lobby. Actually, the fact that it did work fine in the lobby shows that their failure to have it work upstairs (They just ignored repeated requests to fix it) can only be due to incompetence, laziness, or some other moral failing. Breakfast was mediocre, and though they have a Cafe Coffee Day machine for making real coffee, they charge extra for that, which is so petty considering the exorbitant price of the hotel.
