Die Lage war ebenfalls sehr gut und kann zu Fuss von der Fähre direkt ins Hotel gehen. Kommen gerne wieder!👍 Nichts

Gångavstånd till utbudet i Egina stad och färjeläget. Trevlig gästvänlig värdfamilj. Rum med balkong mot havet är ett plus. Något lyhört. Fuktigt nattetid i rummet, täcken vore ett plus i februari. Badrummet i minsta laget.

• Lydia (7/5): Only the view - View was wonderful. Air-condition eventually worked Location was convenient for exploring the town. Price without breakfast was ok. Hospitality was warm and mostly pleasant. Hotel staff attended the malfunctions. Hotel owner helped us rent a car. A basic room. Air-condition was cleaned and managed to cope with the heat , not sure about July and August. Shower hose broke down, was fixed only the next day. A big cockroach was found No double glazing, therefore noise from the road, so earplugs were required. We didn't mind the steps. Listening to hostile personal political remarks from a member of staff was not welcomed.

• Penny (10/5): A warm and friendly stay on Aegina - We have been so happy to have found this beautiful friendly family hotel overlooking the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Very short walk to the beautiful colourful old town, lively restaurants, harbour and port, beaches and the amazing Temple of Apollo. Our room was comfortable and always cleaned daily by a lovely lady. It had a TV, fridge and private bathroom and a balcony that overlooked the sea and we enjoyed a few swims right out front. We were greeted so warmly on arrival and everyday by Salvatore, Yannis and Eric who treated us like family and helped us with local tips and hiring a car to see the rest of this amazing island. What a privilege to have stayed at Plaza hotel. Thank you 🙏🏻

Friendly staf. Coffee and milk to go with the kettle would be a nice add on. We brought our own and it was nice to sit on the terrace sipping it in the morning.

• Margot (8/5): - Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Pier, wo die Fähren anlegen. Zu Fuß sind es weniger als 5 Minuten. Auch die Bushaltestelle ist gleich nebenan. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, unser Zimmer war sauber und modern. Die Dusche war zwar sehr klein, hat aber gut funktioniert. Die dazugehörige Taverne liegt direkt am Wasser. Auch hier ist man sehr freundlich und die Calamari waren die besten! Am Abend kann man zu Fuß ins Zentrum von Ägina gehen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und trotz weniger Sterne bekommt man alles, was man braucht.

The hotels owners were fantastic, couldn't have asked for better service The rooms are a little dated and in need of some tlc and the road is quite noisy. Having said that the room was comfortable and clean.

• David (10/5): Ideal, welcoming and perfectly located - The friendliest and most genuine welcome and ongoing helpfulness from Janis, Eric and the Father of all! The hotel is in the perfect location, right on the seafront, a beach 20m away and line of good restaurants right out the front including the lovely Plaza Taverna run by the Uncle. Only 100 m from the port and 150m from the main waterfront area. A truly memorable stay, and we would go back there if we are ever fortunate enough to visit Aegina again Nothing!

• Daniel (10/5): - The best Greek experience I have had on this trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A great place to hang out, relax, and talk to people, including many locals. The staff is very much involved, exuding local flavor all around. The brother of the owner of the hotel has a small eatery next door that is still a work in progress, but the kitchen is fully functional and puts out delicious food. He makes the best frappé, great for an afternoon at a table on the beach across the street.This hotel is an older building with no elevator, but staff will take your heavy bags up and down the stairs. One should be prepared for the issues with such a building, including small space. However, despite any of that, the charm of this place definitely makes me look forward to returning. It is “chill central,” and I was just happy to be there.

Easy walk from ferry and easy access to old town as well. owner and sons were great nothing any trouble bottle opener . They also organised a car hire for us which was cheaper than advertised rates we saw and was a good little car which we used for the day to explore the island. This is well worth doing. Tiny tv. But we didn’t even turn it on, because of view from balcony and we we busy doing things.
• Connor (10/5): - Warm and welcoming check-in, great location, was perfect for my first visit to Aegina. Hotel is very close to a small beach and the archaeological museum, as well as to the center of town. Plenty of restaurants nearby, too. I had never been to Aegina before and wasn’t sure what to expect since it is the closest island to Athens / Piraeus. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the island and would definitely come back. Honestly had a better time here than on some of the more famous islands.
• Lu (10/5): Superb - Wonderful location. Close enough to walk to the hotel from the ferry and only 50m from the beach. Eric and Yannis were wonderful hosts, as were other members of the family. View from the balcony was superb, overlooking the ocean and restaurants along the waterfront. There was nothing we didn't like.

Had a lovely room with a sea view balcony. 4 minutes walk from the ferries. Lovely tavernas next door. Few minutes from the Kolona site. Aegina is gorgeous and I wish I could have stayed for longer! Everything was great!
