• Kathy (7/5): Comfortable but noisy - The room & bed were quite clean & comfortable The swallows (birds) that nest on top of all the security cameras decide to get very vocal at 3:30 am both nights I was there. My neighbors also came out of their room when the noise started, it did not stop, so I turned on my white noise machine and it could not drown out the bird chatter.

• Lauren (8/5): - I stayed at this hotel while visiting for a KState game because I didn’t want to spend $300 for a mediocre place in Manhattan. It wasn’t too far out of the way and the price was right. There’s not much around the hotel itself, but I felt safe and I liked that I could park my car and get in and out of my room to my car without having to go through a lobby. The man at check in was friendly and made the process go quickly. I’d stay again.

• Denice (8/5): Just what we needed - Needed a place to stay after a late football game. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is an older hotel (built in 1964), but it was perfect for what we were needing/wanting. We have stayed here before and the owners are very nice. There is a refrigerator and small microwave in the room, but no blow dryer. I now know that, so I bring one. There are not a lot of "extras", but it is a clean comfortable place to sleep and get cleaned up at a reasonable price. We plan on staying again.

I would have liked to have a blow dryer, coffee machine set up, and iron with ironing board. It could have been a little cleaner but was decent.

• Kris (4/5): Smokers delight! - The first time I had ever accidentally booked a smoking room, didn't even know they still offered them. The room was at the backside of the hotel, there was no parking so took a long hike to get there. Opened the door that had a no smoking sign to be overwhelmed by the cigarette smell. After walking in I saw the ashtray on the nightstand. Had to hike back to the office to request a non-smoking room, was told that was a more expensive room, but he would give it to me at the same price. Room number 2 was also a smoking room but it was sprayed with potpourri spray to cover the cigarette smell. The room was dirty, the couple in the room next door fought all night. Left the next morning with a headache, everything in my suitcase smelled of cigarettes, and very little sleep. Will not return!

• Creech (1/5): I would have rather slept outside in the streets… - AC did not work, door would not lock, hairs in the bathtub, dead roaches covered in dust on top of broken AC, second floor walkway is in disrepair. Overall horrible. The low price does not make up for what you get. I would rather spend $300 a night at another place than stay there.

Price was great and was very quiet despite amount of people that seemed to be staying here. 2 beds in our room and shower that worked and sheets seemed clean. AC worked well. Water worked well and stayed warm for showers. Fresh towels provided Room was not the cleanest. Found a dead roach under the table, also not the most up to date but this was to be expected due to price.
• Denice (8/5): Good choice for one night - We wanted a room to stay in after a late home KSU football game. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff (who I think were the owners) were friendly and helpful. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room, which was nice. The room had two full-sized beds (we prefer a queen or king), but I knew that when I booked the room. There was nothing fancy about the room, but it suited our needs... a clean and comfortable place to sleep and take a shower in the morning. I forgot to grab my phone charger and my hair dryer...the room did not have a USB port anywhere or a blow dryer, but that's on me for not packing everything, and I didn't ask the front desk if those items were available. The lamp on the table between the beds did have a plug-in on the base, so I purchased the needed item to charge my phone.

My only complaint [other than I paid TOO much through your site] when I went to use the shower/bath.....the handle came off in my hand. When I did replace, little tricky to regulate the temp/flow. Was not a good location, place is very run down on the outside of the building, never seen anyone except the man who checked us in and he was behind locked glass window, which didn’t give us a very safe feeling.

• Angela (2/5): - There was nothing good about this place for the price i had to pay there was no coffee pots no breakfast, it is run down, toilet didnt flush half the time. The people running it was rude. The building is up for sale!!! It wouldnt take much of a strong shake of some sort and the columns holding up the second floor walk had very large deep cracks in them to collapse and hurt or kill someone, plus looks like all they did was a very bad job painting over them to try and hide them. Broken washer and drier, bird poop in the walk ways including wasp nest every where on windows and doors.

When using the toilet the light/fan combo blew out hot air making in uncomfortable the use the bathroom. It is a bit worn down and could use some TLC. The sink also didn't drain!

I mean it is a small privately owned establishment but still service was not really there. It is clean enough for a place just lay and sleep but don't expect more. The shower was a dribble and for the price I would have expected a bit more. The little restaurant next door was the best thing about it. We booked online and paid half up front but then seemed to be charged FULL upon arrival. Person manning the desk was only "watching it for the owner who was out of town" so he could care less on anything. Even on check out got a thanks and that was it from behind a shade covering the main window. Didn't even look at me.

• Timothy (1/5): Horrible Ungreatful Western Inn (Needs to be shutdown) - Nothing but the woods in front of the door or window of the location being mentioned. All of the above: 1. Horrible staff that aren't professional 2. Lies about the facilities laundryroom and breakfast that both weren't available 3. Fumes of chemicals, and smoke coming from the vents that caused me to go to the Ft. Riley Hospital 5. Mind games and reverse psychology being out on me by very rude and disrespectful staff working thier. 6. Fraud coming from the establishment (Lying about everything that was looked by me as a way to harass me). 7. Being ganged stalked 8. Charged twice and kicked out of an already paid establishment for nothing. Noted: I communicated with the staff there and they didn't like it I also truly beleive the location is a governor front, a place they erase from the world (Ft. Riley), the staff there seemed very government and very shady. The place is garbage. A place to be set up. I got sick after the 2nd reservation (While visiting the area at this location). This place needs to be shut down. There is more to the story, but I can't ewive these places are listed on these hotel sites. Shouldn't be the case. Last note: I am so glad I am still alive to keep reporting about these bs criminal locations of frauds. I hope this helps keep good people from these frauds in Junction City, KS.

The sound proofing was not real good as we could here late time people moving around one night and a baby crying the next night. The room was very clean and bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Arrived late and it was totally empty parking lot. Immediately, also arrived a couple of very sketchy individuals. We ended going somewhere else where we feel safer.
• James (10/5): More than meets the Eye - Great trip much better than I expected. I had a comfortable night of sleep and the amenities (fridge microwave ac) were very nice. I was expecting something unpleasant because it’s exterior looked old fashioned and it was placed out on the edge of town but it delivered.
• Street (4/5): Waste of money and time - The bed was snuggly Hair in tub and around toilet food down the wall toilet rocks so thats fun nasty carpet although the pics show a locking wood floor deadbolt on door doesnt lock door itself had so much light coming through couldnt tell the door was even shut. We had to hang the top blanket over the janky blinds just so light coming through the window wouldnt keep us awake. Location looks nothing like the pics that were probably taken 3-5yrs ago nice view of the trailer court out front though said they offer breakfast but there's a note taped to the breakfast room door stating they no longer do breakfast there are no coffee pots in the rooms or on the property closest cup is the cenex across a danger street with a dangerous intersection leading to the interstate that's under construction so be prepared to drive a minimum of 7 miles out of your way to go anywhere
• Amber (4/5): - The man at the front desk was very nice and efficient. The price was cheap, but I still expected “clean”. The room itself smelled bad. The chair was covered in hair and a weird dust. The bathtub was clogged so that your feet were covered in water while you were standing in the shower. The carpet seemed old enough and gross enough that I didn’t wanna walk barefoot on it so I wore my socks the whole time. There were weird stains on the wall and cables exposed. The floor boards were dirty. The sheets seemed clean, That was a relief. I stayed at a super8 the night before for the same price that was very clean with no bad smells, so guess cheap is a gamble. If you can’t afford more, you’ll be fine. Good luck :)
