Guest Reviews
- Jordan (2/5): Wouldn't even let me in - I was working in Chetwynd and when I got to the hotel to check in late that night I called the number posted on the door and the woman on the phone told me the hotel was closed so I had to find another motel at midnight. I was only told that I had to check in after four. I can't really comment on the cleanliness of the room but this is a terrible hotel, don't even bother booking it!
- William (4/5): Good if you are looking to sleep for a few hours a - Was not what i expected room/lobby had a distinct odour and i had to cross the street to another hotel to check in.
- heinzgb2015 (2/5): No reception opened! Smells like in a Hospital! - Just awful. Booked with expediafortd; wondering that they still list this to my opinion run down place. Any Hostel might be better! At the reception door is a sign, you should report at the adjacent Motel, also not great. 2 stars is even euphamistic!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Brookside Inn Review - When I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying that I should check in next door. I walked to the neighbouring hotel and the friendly clerk there helped me to my room. The room was small and ugly. But, the bed was comfy, the wifi was reasonable, and it had a fridge and microwave. When checking out, I couldn't find any staff at the hotel, or the place next door. I waited around for about 20 minutes, then just left my key in a mailbox. If you don't care about luxury or appearances, or if you just want to save every dollar you can, this place is fine. It gets the job done. Just don't vacation here.
- seanp243 (2/5): Dirty - Staying at the Brookside was an awful experience. We booked it online, and when we arrived we found a sign on the door referring us to another motel. When we arrived there we were told it was full and were sent back to the Brookside where there were "two large rooms for us." Both rooms were disgusting. The linoleum floors were peeled up in the corners revealing dirt and dead bugs. The bathrooms were gross, the bathtub with dusty residue in it and the shower curtains were stained brown. The beds were equally gross and one happened to have dead bugs in it. A horrible experience not to be repeated.
- chaznar (6/5): It's a motel - There's nothing special about it. No excitements & not disappointing. Just a cheap place to sleep for the night. During out time, the cheapest place we could find. Smoke free room doesn't smell like smoke, but upon walking through the hallway, it seemed as if we were walking through an ashtray. Not horribly disgusting. Could be cleaner, but bed & toilet were clean which is all I care about. Fast wifi, cable TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker (byo coffee), & toiletries.
