• Matticus01 (8/5): Decent Hotel Near Walking Street - I had a pleasant 1 night stay here. It’s conveniently located a short walk to walking street and numerous restaurants. The room was spacious and clean. It was a bit old and outdated looking, but everything worked fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It looks like they haven't maintained the rooms that is in need of a good cleaning, paint, and bathroom tile. Much if the room upholstery is stained from spills over the years. Will not stay here again.

• Daniel (8/5): Getaway to Khon Kaen on a budget. - Solid budget choice for staying near central Khon Kaen, within walking distance of sights and shopping. Nothing fancy but for the price, a great value. Free breakfast was adequate and room on the smaller side. Free water in the room. Wifi took some time to connect but was fast afterwards. Service very friendly and helpful for our one-night stay. Men's club on the ground floor if you're into that sort of thing.

• KUNIMORI (8/5): アットホームなフロント従業員 - フロントでイサン料理を食べたいと言ったら、近くのレストランを教えてくれた。そこで、ガイヤーンを食べたが、とても美味しかった。食事が終わってホテルに戻ってきたら、「美味しかったですか」と聞かれたので、「美味しかったです」というと、飛び上がって喜んでくれた。とてもアットホームなホテルでした。

• Roland (8/5): Zentrales und angenehmes Hotel - Das Hotel macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Das Zimmer war recht schön,bequem und ruhig. Kleine Schönheitsfehler wie korrodierten Wasserhahn muss man in Kauf nehmen. Fußläufig zum Central Placa Einkaufszentren. Insgesamt wirklich empfehlenswert.

It's a cheap hotel and quite clean. But it smells like an old hotel and could be improved. Bathroom is slightly too small. Only one or two staff speak English. Free airport transfer for me the last time. I stayed in 7th floor.
• 949charliej (10/5): A home away from home - I booked for one night and stayed for three, the staff were so nice and the rooms had all been re furbished. Spotless bathroom and huge soft bed, tea and coffee making facilities plus the usual drinks in the fridge. Flat screen TV with seven English speaking channels. It was just perfect, hard to beat. The restaurant has really nice furniture and the meals tasty and yet not expensive. I was sorry to leave and that's an honest opinion. Thank you ALL at the Khon Kaen Hotel for a warm welcome and pleasant stay.
• 50alanp (8/5): Kosa hotel - Strange holiday back and forth to hospital to visit step daughter and her newborn son.The kosa was ideal for us door staff would call taxis for us whenever needed food room and staff all pleasant. Only minus wifi was slow and erratic.

• Nicolas (10/5): Very cheap hotel for a good vacations - It's a good hotel for a cheap price. The people working overthere are very friendly. Free breakfast include and free wifi. I would stay again at this hotel. The bathroom are not the best but for $22 a night you can't complain.

• Baroudeur69 (8/5): Friendly staff and good location - I stay one night in Khon Kaen hotel, and i had a nice stay, the woman at the reception welcome us very nicely and professionally. The room was good but the only things i will complain, the sofa was dirty and there was some electric cable near our bed. We didn't now about the famous Bar Lounge located in front of the entrance of the Hotel. Me and my wife, was really surprise when we enter, more my wife to be honest but that make our drinks Finnish quickly because , she was uncomfortable, what i can understand. But i will definitely recommend your Hotel to all Gentlemen who are single and want to spend sometimes in Khon Kaen. The Hotel is really well located just near the nightlife entertainment, have a big parking which is very convenient. I didn't have time to visit the other hotel amenities due to my business stay but also breakfast should be really improve in quality. However the rate for the night is good deal and nice place to stay.
• 511cjc (8/5): nice - Friendly staff Good location Quiet environment Checked into the Hotel on 31st March and tried to stay there 4 nights, but unfortunately the staff told us that only 2 consecutive nights were available. In the evening many food stands offer various types of dishes on the street close to the Hotel's rear end.
• Raintree_Thailand (6/5): Old and tired, but good enough for the price - The Khon Kaen Hotel is an older facility in central Khon Kaen. The hotel could use additional face-lifting, but is perfectly adequate, and fine enough considering the reasonable price. The rooms are large and with clean comfortable beds. Bathroom fixtures are old, but there's adequate hot water. Amenities adequate. Decent TVs and channel selection. Free wifi in the rooms. Breakfast is mediocre at best. The location is OK, but not much real close to the hotel: a few shops and restaurants, but no large shopping malls or prominent pubs. They do have a in-hotel club, with a raft of pretties to entertain. Not a bad choice for a hotel, although pretty average in most aspects.
• Mekong164 (8/5): Excellent choice in town - I have been staying at this hotel for over a week and it was pleasant, reasonably priced, clean, good service. Breakfast is excellent and room view pleasant. In the city centre and not far from the restaurants and night life.
• Kinkybb (2/5): Sleeping on bricks - The air conditioner was not cold. Got maintance to check it. He just said it was iced up and can't fix much. The bed were hard as rock. Did not sleep at all. The lounge May was softer so slept on that. But never again. Use to stay on a regular when visiting family here but now changed my mind on this place.
• Termalou (2/5): Scamming hotel - We had a night at the hotel, my wife, her daughter and a niece. ! When we had checked out and was on our way home in car, they call from the hotel and say they had forgot to charge 150 Baht for some food, and we had to come back and pay, as we was already 100 KM. away we said we could pay next time, we had stayed there many times. Again in the evening the hotel staff called my wife and complained about the 150 Baht ! What the hell do they think they are ??? We checked out and paid the bill they showed us, it is not our problem that they forget something, it was not even 5% of the total bill we paid. So I will warn all against this hotel, they was speaking very bad to my wife, and if they not know how to run a hotel, then close it ! We wrote a complaint to the management, but never got an answer, our friend in Khon Kaen went in and paid the bill, as we will not own any idiots any money ! But for sure we NEVER stay there again !!!
• EmmaR848 (6/5): Needs refreshing - I stayed here for 8 days because I was teaching at the University. The room I had was big and was ok. It's a bit old and needs some renovation, particularly the bathroom. I had a room right opposite the lifts which is handy in one way but it also means that you get to hear everyone coming out of and going into the lift. It also meant that on weekend nights I go to listen to a party in the corridor and people trying my door probably because they couldn't remember what room they were in! My collegues had reserved it for me as the Uni has a negotiated price, so it was ok. The breakfast is ok too, some western and some Thai selections. The soup was good. There's probably better hotels but its ok for a few nights I guess.
• 64FrankD (6/5): Good sized general hotel - This is a good general hotel close to the center of town. All service is in place for a reasonable price of 850 Baht per night includes taxes and breakfast. Concierge , attentive reception, pleasant restaurant, nightclub and room service. It's all there. Its not new and has a general look but you can see the maintenance work upgrading.
• 728JamesS728 (6/5): Average if you have to stay in Khon Kaen - We had to stay in Khon Kaen as we ran out of time to Bangkok. The town is a dire new build reconstruction of something that was probably nothing a few years ago. The hotel is OK, there is nothing really to do in Khon Kaen except the lake and a few fast food joints. The rooms are ok here and the staff are polite. My wife was sick and they looked after her pretty OK!
• archter2f (8/5): Good choice. - Thai friends chose this one, so we were reasonably confident we were in good hands. Attractive well maintained hotel in an easily accessible location. Good markets and restaurants were all just around the corner. The hotel was comfortable, the lobby was large with great areas to relax and read. Our room looked as if it had been renovated recently. Breakfast was a little on the average side, but considering the extremely reasonable rates it would be difficult not to be happy staying here.
• Numlock67 (4/5): Nice rooms awful staff - Nice place and not bad value. The prob is the staff are rude ignorant and just generally bad. Twice someone tried to get in to our room before 7am in the morning. This was a member of staff who had a swipe card the only reason they didn't get in was that we had the latch over the door! No apologiy or explanation. Breakfast is pretty bad to 1 out of 5 Only reframing factor is the rooms are nice and clean with comfy bed
