• Marc (8/5): ÉTABLISSEMENT CALME AVEC PISCINE - J'ai aimé l'attention et l'amabilité du personnel. Le petit déjeuner était bon (plusieurs options étaient disponibles : occidentale, orientales, bengali, .., Le restaurant, pour le déjeuner et repas du soir, servait des plats orientaux mais il existait aussi des options occidentales. Il y avait un frigo bar dans la chambre avec des soft drinks (payants). Deux bouteilles d'eau étaient mises gratuitement chaque jour. La piscine avait une bonne taille. Je n'ai pas pu payer avec la carte de crédit. Et quant aux dollars, ils n'acceptaient, pour ce qui était des billets de 100 dollars que les plus récents. En ce qui concerne la piscine, elle se trouve juste à côté du restaurant.

The breakfast was also a highlight, offering a good variety and quality. I found the hotel to be overpriced for what it offered. It’s advertised as a 5-star hotel, but in reality, it feels more like a 3-4 star experience. Many areas of the hotel were poorly maintained and neglected, with some corners looking abandoned and unsafe, which could potentially pose a hazard. However, The price we paid didn’t match the overall experience, and I feel they could offer something more aligned with what’s expected for that price.

The hotel has an outdoor pool and a small gym, with basic equipment - good for a quick workout. I would particularly like to commend Mr. SM Azger Ali Ripon, along with Rubel, Nafis, the Security Team, and the Room Service staff for their exemplary professionalism and dedication. From the very beginning, the level of service exceeded my expectations. I was promptly picked up from the airport upon arrival, without any delay or waiting time, which set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. Similarly, when it was time for my return flight, the drop-off process was handled just as efficiently and smoothly. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was warmly welcomed and promptly shown to my room. Your team took the time to explain the amenities available within the hotel as well as useful details about the surrounding area, ensuring I felt well informed and comfortable. What truly stood out during my stay was the team's commitment to making my experience as pleasant and convenient as possible. One memorable example was when I mentioned an interest in trying a particular local delicacy but was unsure where to find it. Mr. Ripon and his team went out of their way to try and source the item for me. Although it was difficult to obtain, their willingness to help and go the extra mile was sincerely appreciated. I was also very impressed by the staff’s attentiveness to my safety. They consistently ensured that any Uber or rickshaw I used was safe, giving me great peace of mind. Housekeeping services were also excellent—my room was cleaned in a timely manner and consistently stocked with everything I needed. Overall, the professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail demonstrated by Mr. Ripon, his team, the security staff, and the room service team contributed to a truly memorable experience. The breakfast was adequate. The elevator broke while I was in it, and I had to be rescued and climb out! The spa was closed both times I went, and the gym was dark. It seemed like about half of the hotel wasn't being used.

• Kayur (10/5): Home away from home - I travel a lot internationally for work, and Royal Park is amongst the best experiences I have had, and keep going back to - it certainly is a home away from home. The staff are very welcoming and kind, and make sure the stay is always very comfortable. The lavish breakfast spread is phenomenal. Royal Park is centrally located, in a very clean and safe part of Dhaka, and very easy to get around from. I strongly recommend this hotel for stays in Dhaka.

It all started off negatively when we were allocated a room that was not as described - we booked a room which had 2 queen beds - we got a queen and a single. Not appropriate for our stay. The management said it was an issue with booking.com and offered to put another bed in the room but there was physically no room. The room had no window and the AC had one setting - full blast cold, aimed directly at the beds, making a lot of noise. We got the requested room on the second night. The room was small, but adequate. No smart TV. Service from the staff was good, couldn't fault them. From the airport pick up service to the cleaners - all well mannered and helpful. The food in the restaurant was relatively high price, but was great tasting. It appears the hotel is going through renovation. There was a lot of workers decorating the place. Such a shame as this hotel has great potential to become a leading boutique hotel in the area. They need to up their room standards to match the price. I have stayed in a similar grade hotel in the area and must say, they are better value for money.

• Mohammed (10/5): - This hotel is ideally located within close proximity to shopping areas, restaurants and the very beautiful Banani Jamia Masjid which was about a 10min walk. The area is very clean and safe. The Hotel offer complementary airport pick-up and chargeable airport drop which was very handy. The staff go above and beyond to help and assist. The room and bathroom was completely spotlessly clean and the complementary juice and sweets made me feel very welcomed. The gym was overall quite well equipped, however, I would recommend they add a regular adjustable weight bench instead of the current one they have. I would likely stay again in the near future.
• Manoj (10/5): - This is a pretty good mid-level hotel for one or two nights in Dhaka. We are a family of 4 and were looking for one room. The problem is that most 5-star hotels don't have a family room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 7 yrs old). Interestingly, this hotel has a queen-queen room, which can accommodate our needs. The beds are actually queen bed size, which is a plus. The rooms are a bit dated and our bathroom was quite small. The biggest issue was air conditioning unit noise. The unit itself was very old. The breakfast was reasonably ok with not much varieties. On the real positives, the services from the hotel staffs along with the airport pickup and drop-off, were top-notch. Overall, it was a positive experience.

• Dwight (9/5): Great place to stay in Gulshan - The staff was amazing. The room was decent size, ac was great, had a balcony, breakfast was amazing, 24 room service, safe area, in Gulshan district. Airport shuttle. Can't say enough about the staff. Shower was good size, water pressure good, lots of movie channels (in English) It was pretty good overall honestly. Bathroom was small.

The best in town :) Excellent, safe location, cozy rooms, wonderful hotel management that always goes the extra mile to ensure each guest feels satisfied. Royal Park is a true gem!

The food was quite good with a decent breakfast spread (different Asian options) The room was not always cleaned well. The restaurant prices were a bit high

The negativities I mentioned are not very important. I met Ms. Nasrin Akter who is the sales & marketing manager of the hotel. She was very kind and polite. Thank you for the nice conversation we had. I think it was nice that he came and talked like that and asked my opinion. It's a detail that makes the other person feel important. If I come to Dhaka again, it will be one of my priorities. I expected there to be more western style options for breakfast but It was ok. I wish there were bathrobes and "busy - clean my room" card in the room. Even if these exist, I may not have found them. I'm sure there is no bathrobes at the room. They are small details to deserve 10 points. :)

Staff treat you professionally and personally, will be well looked after. - Located in a very quiet neighborhood, it's an ideal place to stay as a single traveler or as a family group. The rooms are large, quiet and spacious and kept clean, The staff are helpful and always at your service; assisted with transport and other arrangements. You felt safe on the property and the food options were of the highest standards, breakfast was delicious and extensive. The pool was great for the kids. Very close to places to visit in Dhaka. There wasn't anything in particular we didn't like, overall it was a great experience.
