• Guillermo (8/5): exelentes instalaciones pongan atencion a la limpi - exelentes instalaciones solo falta de limpieza el elveador no servia y las escaleras estaban sucias se daño la puerta de acceso al edificio lo reporte y no la arreglaron

• Francesco (2/5): - Appena arrivati scopriamo che l'ascensore non funziona e dobbiamo raggiungere A PIEDI su per le scale con valigie, passeggini e due bimbi piccoli, l'appartamento al 6° piano. Chiamiamo subito l'assistenza di Smartflats che ci liquida con un gravissimo "l'ascensore non è incluso nella prenotazione". L'appartamento è ORRENDO, sporco e tenuto malissimo, con macchie di dubbia origine sui tessuti, tante amenities non presenti (a differenza di quanto dichiarato). Non siamo rimasti neanche una notte, siamo letteralmente SCAPPATI e abbiamo pagato un nuovo hotel di tasca nostra, in attesa di un rimborso completo per un soggiorno non goduto. Assistenza inesistente e scandalosa, statene alla larga!!
• Trevor (8/5): Nice flat let down by the external facilities - Excellent flat and very spacious let down by 3 things. a). The lift has been out of order all week and known about. With the apartment on Floor 5 it was a struggle with bags especially as b). The pir lights on the stairs do not work so half way up a flight of stairs you are a darkness scrambling around for your phone as it’s literally pitch black. No windows. c). One towel for a 5 night stay - cmon - at least put in a spare.

• Javier (4/5): - Big difference between de web site to the real apartment, also they demand a credit card outside the Expedia platform, don’t give the complete conditions about the lodging, everything is online, in the place, doesn’t work the elevador, don’t have WiFi password you need tu request!! By the way The apartment I booked is not the same as the one they gave me, they are deceptive in the photos.
• Sarah (8/5): - Huge 2 bedroom apartment in a great location, could do with a bit of TLC but it was clean, beds were comfy and we enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed, but could have done with more towels. WiFi was slow but it did work.
• Stéphane (6/5): - Appartement très bien situé pour visiter le centre ville et très spacieux.Par contre , l’état de propreté des zones communes sont exécrables, l’appartement se situe au 6eme étage et l’ascenseur ne fonctionne pas .L'environnement pour cause de travaux pharaoniques est très bruyant . L’ensemble de l’appartement est assez propre sauf les sols .
• Nicolas (6/5): - Affordable apartment very well located. Read all reviews before you book. Our stay ended up being ok. Floors were dirty, but if you are used to backpacking travel you will have seen worse. Our frustration upon arrival came from our expectations because of the misleading amenities description. We had to go to the laundromat on our first day because the towels and bedsheets were dirty/smelly, and we also had to go to the store to buy more toilet paper, coffee, and other such things that we expected to be included. The good news is that the laundromat and all stores are within one block away, making it easy to fix. The property management answered quickly but didn't really address most issues. Also, keep in mind there are no deadbolt lock, and that the elevator is out of order, meaning you will have to climb 6 flights of stairs to get to the apartment.
• Mamaduolamin (4/5): - Horrible accueil.. plus de 3 hrs d’attente pour accéder à l’appartement, peu voire pas d’infos pour le clt.. appartement situé au 6eme étage biensur sans ascenseurs fonctionnel… surpris d’apprendre seulement à l’arrivé d’une caution de 200€ débité du compte avec à ce jour toujours pas de retours sur mon compte bancaire..

• Mark (6/5): - Het is een prima locatie. Dichtbij alles. Wat niet zo goed beviel is; Dat de lift al sinds medio augustus niet werkt. En met bagage naar de 5e verdieping is dat een probleem! De inrichting OK is, maar slecht schoongemaakt is. De handdoeken en theedoek waren niet zo schoon. De tussendeur op een normale manier niet open ging. De verwarming te hoog stond (23 gr) Slecht aanbod TV-zenders
• Shawna (8/5): - Property was hard to access and dirty in areas and the toilet wouldn't work and various things were broken. However the apartment was extremely spacious and beautiful living space with everything I could possibly need. I would stay again but wouldn't bring a large group.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - 6th for first work no working lift and this seems longstanding. This limited how many times we would return to the flat. Location itself was very convenient. Cleanliness was average in the flat but staircase was awful. Shower had good temperature but the temp controls are for demo only and don’t work (at least not fixed on cold water).
• Hsu-Fen (6/5): - Lift was broken through out my stay and I had to climb six floors to my apartment each day. Asked the property when the lift would be fixed and the response was very very delayed. Beautiful flat and location but the non functioning lift was too much of an inconvenience

• ALISON (8/5): Brussels apartment - Roomy, quiet. No working elevator, and unit on the 5th floor. Would have been nice to have bedding for the sofa. Other than that, very conveniently located - the metro is a couple of minutes away, and all the sites to see are within walking distance. Great time in Brussels!

• Julie (2/5): - DON’T STAY HERE! Smartflat moved us to another apartment (“Brusselian” 45 Marché aux poulets) pretending that it was an upgrade. The apt we got was in terrible condition: entry blocked by linen racks, ramp of the staircases ripped off, NO sofa… just a bare living room space, leaking shower, fixtures and decorations on the walls ripped off, stained linen, etc). And extremely noisy neighborhood with drunkards shouting until 3-4 am … and then the cleaning squad rummaging the street from 4am… a nightmare. Tried contacting Smartflat but they “assessed” that they couldn’t do anything about this and wouldn’t compensate me. It’s a real scam. Will never stay in any of their hotels again
• Verified traveler (4/5): Basic and poorly maintained - Accommodation changed by smartflats due to a technical issue with the apartment booked. Only one alternative offered that had only 2 beds rather than the 3 booked. Apartment condition was poor, no lighting in a narrow relatively steep first portion of stairs. Window blind missing in the main bedroom and carpet in communal areas was dirty. Overall very disappointed with the service from smartflats, moving us last minute to what must surely be an inferior apartment. When pushed to provide some compensation all they were willing to offer was a discount code for future bookings with them, which I will never do based on this experience.
• Karen (4/5): Not a great apartment - Apartment was in poor condition, sofa in lounge was visibly broken and light in one of the bedrooms was hanging by 2 wires instead of 3, bulbs in lounge were flickering and there was old food in the sink. On the plus side it was very well heated and in a good location although outside door was always open so you didn't need to use the code but anybody could enter.
• Jun (6/5): - The unit is huge. however, the alarm kept beeping during the whole night. When we checked in, the unit is not ready yet. It took additional time to wait the janitor to clean the room.

• Bernardo (2/5): Most disgusting place ever - The place was a disaster. Nothing to do with the pictures shown on the website. Dirty. Very old. The building falling apart. I feel totally robbed. I had to leave 2 night before my regular check out time. The first time EVER that hotels.com has been a total deception.
• liora (2/5): Bed bugs beware - This propriety had signs of Bed bugs when I called to ask for a different room the staff was unhelpful and ignored. Hoping to get my money back but so far have not received any response despite that I left almost immediately after discovering the bed bug signs. On top of that it was unclean with falling apart furniture

Tried to call so many tomes bith the Expedia Customer service and the property manager, for 2/3 days ! Expedia can not do anything on behalf of the hotel. The property never replied. • elizabeth (4/5): - Communication was abysmal. Changed the location of the flat less than 24 hours before check in. Did not provide email information within the 2 day window as specified in the booking.
• Crystal (10/5): Good stay - It was a lovely spacious apartment in the heart of the city centre with access to the car park near by. The security was fine and the facilities were good.
• Anahit (10/5): Spacious apartment in the heart of Brussels! - The apartment was very spacious I would recommend it for families. The staff was very friendly and met my special requests. The location is perfect , metro , train stations, the Grand Place , the shopping street everything is in 5 minutes walk.
• Richard (8/5): - Great location, apartment was nice. Strange to have a really large apartment with two bedrooms but only one toilet - I wouldn't therefore stay with the family. Some of the curtains don't cover the windows, another window doesn't have a curtain at all. There is a lot of building work going on in this building from early in the morning until after 23.00.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, close to everything. WiFi was not the best. Having trouble with the WiFi and there’s really no one to troubleshoot the issue for you. Having difficulty adjust the temperature in the room. Overall it’s a great place to stay.

• Sheraz (4/5): Terrible customer service with no common sense - in simply words, my family and I have been through very challenging/difficult situation due to the lack of basic facilities at the property. Our family of five were provided with two small double beds and a broken/smelly/dirty sofa bed. However, at the time of booking I was told that we will get three double beds. The sofa bed was full of dirt and stains, was partly broken and was smelling. I wouldn't let any of my children to sleep in the bed. I told the property management from day one to provide me another bed or at least a mattress so that I can sleep on it but our requests were completely ignored. Even a member of their team came to take a look at the sofa bed and he even agreed that it was in terrible state, he took photos and said he would speak to his manager and get back to me but I didn’t hear anything back from him on this. The towels we were provided were dirty and there was a whole in one of the towels. We were provided with only five thin pillows and when I asked for a few extra pillows we were asked to pay 10 euros for them which I refused, and they then didn't provide the pillow. I therefore, went to the local market to buy some pillows and towels. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property to any family with young children
• Eldad (2/5): low maintenance + stairs to an "accessible" flat - The apartment is described as accessible with an elevator, but it is located in the middle of 2 floors, so you have to go through a bunch of stairs to get to it which isn't ideal when you have a baby pushchair. The towels and sheets had tears and stains. The walls were also pretty dirty and with stains all over. There was supposed to be internet, but it never worked- I was able to connect to the wifi but there was no internet available. I complained and they said they fixed it but it was never fixed. The water pressure is really low. If you want to watch the (small) tv in the living room, you'll have to improvise a stand for the receiver as it is just hanging from the wall and doesn't receive the signals from the remote. We were really disappointed with the apartment.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Central apartment, great stay! - This apartment is really lovely, it’s a nice space to hang out in, comfortable, clean and a really excellent location. Having a kitchen is a real plus as we had everything we needed to cook our own meals. I’m this sense it’s more like an Airbnb, so don’t expect a hotel service - there’s no lobby or daily room cleaning, but that was perfect for us as we prefer not to be disturbed. There were a couple of issues with the flat - the hot water wasn’t great for showers and the WiFi was difficult at times, but we’re told these issues will be fixed. It’s also on the 6th floor,but there is a lift. Definitely recommend staying here :))
• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice but a little down-and-out around the edges - The flat is nice and VERY spacious, perfect for a family of five. The location is also great, located only a few blocks from Grand Place. The unit is very mod and cool, but unfortunately needs a little freshening. It has fashionable gray paint, but it’s been singed up and stained quite a bit, giving the flat that is quite nice overall a slightly sad and down-at-the-mouth appearance inside. It is meant to feel coolbut has a bit of a hipster dorm room feel to it. For the price, considering what you get for most European hotels, however, it was a bargain, especially for a large family. I won’t NOT recommend it, I just wish they would keep it in slightly better condition.

• Stephen (10/5): Huge apartment, fantastic location - We (me, my dad, brother and friend) stayed here for three nights, Thurs 8th, Fri 9th and Sat 10th March 2018, it is accessed at street level by a code and then when you get to the flat door another door code, so it is very secure. Let me just start by saying that the flat is really big, the main living/kitchen area which is open plan must be at least 10 metres by 7 metres with huge ceilings. Everywhere is clutter free, smart, tidy and very clean. Bedrooms are large as are the bathrooms. There is lots of storage space and the flat is very well equipped, there is also free WiFi throughout, in short it is a fabulous place. If I had one very minor gripe is that there is only one toilet in the flat but that is a very small negative.
• frederic (8/5): - Flat is nicely located and very large but equipment is close to the minimum. It wouldn’t cost that much to add a pillow or a glass but it would make such a difference. Electric Sockets are also not secured especially in the stairs. From the main entrance to the flat the quality is very poor. The stairs are dirty. i wonder how this building will evolve without more investment.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice flat close to everything - We were in Brussels for a wedding and wanted to do a little tourism as well. We were right next to a metro stop to make it easy to get anywhere we needed. The Grand Place was really close. We loved walking there each night and eating waffles as it lights up. Plenty of food and shopping around.

The two-bedroom flats is very spacious, modern designed and clean. The staffs in the lounge cross street are very nice. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Brussels.
