- Jocelyn Lin Juan (10/5): A peaceful, comfortable and family-friendly stay - We had a wonderful stay at Andermatt Alpine Apartments. The apartment was incredibly spacious and family-friendly, comfortably accommodating our group of 7 adults and 2 young kids without feeling cramped. We visited during the off-peak season and really appreciated how peaceful and quiet the area was — a perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The convenience of the parking setup was also a huge plus, with a lift from the carpark providing direct access to the apartment. The apartment itself was very clean and well-maintained. We especially loved the quality utensils and cooking appliances provided, which made it easy for us to prepare meals and enjoy dining together in the comfort of the apartment. Overall, it felt very homely and made our family trip much more enjoyable. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to return again in the near future. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a family trip to Switzerland, especially for larger groups looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. One downside was that the apartment is located quite a distance from some of the more touristy areas such as Lucerne, Interlaken, and Grindelwald, with most drives taking close to 2 hours. However, given that we were travelling as a large family group, it was quite difficult to find spacious and reasonably comfortable accommodation in those areas, so the trade-off was still understandable for us.

El sofa cama comodisimo, los chicos estuvieron encantados, la habitación con una cama comodisima, y almohadas también. EL BAÑO impecable y eso es un lujo. Ubicación top ya que si no cuentas con coche estas a unos cuantos pasos andando de la estación de tren. Que se encuentra en una zona nueva, rodeada de construcciones.

- L (4/5): Distant from ski (45min return walk); complex & staff not ready to host yet - Good & modern apartment, despite being a 45 minute return walk from the Gemstock main lift + village and parking costing chf20+ a day. Note complex is still under construction: noise, no restaurants, a lot of scaffolding, a lot of hazardous construction material, etc. Skiing was good. I wouldn’t recommend it. Staff require additional training (male receptionist). All communication was unhelpful. Wrong instruction for finding the reception in the parking lot; when I figure it out they didn’t think to tell me to not carry all my bags up to then have to bring them back to the car. At check in I asked about a different room type, they said it wasn’t available but I could see 7 available on booking.com. Couldn’t recommend a ski shop or a restaurant. Provided info on a ski bus not in operation. Could not help me re outside parking to avoid chf22 a day in the hotel(lucky I translated outside parking, because the instruction they gave me would have resulted in my car being towed). Inflexible booking conditions. Told me my room didn’t include a sauna (even told me to use another hotel’s sauna?) but the key card opened the building’s sauna. Room provided half used toiletries (I have never seen that!) and toilet paper. 45 min return walk to ski field, couldn’t use car to avoid paying even more for parking. Construction zone everywhere, multiple empty and inundated lots. Construction materials everywhere. Soulless village. No restaurants open.

- Anna (8/5): Beautiful apartments, great location and service. - It was in a great location. A beautifully furnished apartment, clean and quiet. Only 5 minutes walk to the gondola for skiing, and to buy groceries. Nearby restaurants and everything within walking distance. Daniel on reception gave us our keys and found an apartment for us with views of the mountains which I had requested, he was extremely helpful with any questions and making sure we got the views we hoped for. Very good service. Maybe just if the apartment had been checked before we arrived because two bedside lights did not work, also the lighting was very dim in the upstairs bedroom, so brighter lights would be helpful. The only other thing would be if they had allocated our room before we arrived, with the request that I had communication with them about. When Daniel gave us the keys he had to change the room allocated to us because he noticed we had requested “views of the mountains “. Daniel was brilliant and made sure we had views but perhaps it could have been organised before we arrived. I feel like our emails were not acted on other than when we arrived. The spa was disappointing because it only had a sauna and exercise room, I thought there was a swimming pool but that was situated in another block, I misunderstood that, plus the swimming pool is only for people staying in the premium apartments, it does state that on the website.

- Hreidar Ingi (3/5): Poor service and lack of help from the reception staff made the stay disappointing. - The location was good, with a short walk to the ski lifts and the train station. The apartment is brand new, modern, and very nice. The staff at the reception were very disappointing. We booked an apartment with two bedrooms and a sofa bed, but we were given an apartment without a sofa bed. Despite showing our booking confirmation clearly stating that a sofa bed was included, we were still charged 40 CHF for a camp bed. Another issue was the key cards for the apartment, which repeatedly stopped working. We constantly had to go back to reception to have them reactivated, which was very inconvenient. It felt like the staff simply didn’t care about the issues we experienced. We had to deal with the problems ourselves, and there was very little willingness from reception to resolve the situation or take responsibility for the inconvenience.

- Jonas (9/5): Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft für Skiferien - Wir waren im Haus "Wolf" und die Lage davon war ideal. Die Wohnung war sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Sauberkeit war überragend. Der zur Verfügung stehende Ski-Raum bietet extrem viel Platz und ist gut organisiert (Regale und Schuhtrockner). Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Möglichkeit zur kostenfreien Entsorgung aller möglichen Abfälle im Gebäude selbst. Es waren keine Putzlappen oder Geschirrtücher in der Küche vorhanden (nur ein Putzschwamm). Ebenso wäre eine etwas grössere Auswahl an Gewürzen besonders für einen kurzen Aufenthalt von 2 Nächten wünschenswert gewesen (hatte nur Salz & Pfeffer).

They even held our luggage after check-out so we could enjoy an extra day of snowboarding without hassle - such a thoughtful touch. Communication was effortless thanks to their great English skills. The apartment itself is lovely: spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The kitchen corner had everything we needed, and the layout made it easy to relax. We enjoyed a great view, and it was wonderfully quiet with no noise from neighbors. Overall, it felt like a cozy and well-maintained retreat. The sleeping area, being under the sloped ceiling, became a bit hot and stuffy at night, which made sleeping less comfortable than expected. Another disappointment was the sauna. Booking.com mentions a private sauna in the apartment, but it is actually located on the ground floor and shared with other guests. This was inconvenient, especially if someone has turned off the sauna you had just turned on half an hour ago or having other people who prefer to sit in a 60-degrees of "warm room". As someone used to Nordic standards, having a private sauna was a key reason for booking, so this was a letdown.
