- Daniel (10/5): - Everything, the building, the grounds and the staff made you feel important at every opportunity. Unfortunately the pool was closed for 24hours on our particular visit but that was just unfortunate timing. But would love the opportunity to stay again and use all the facilities. But everything else made up for it.
- Umar (5/5): Too expensive for what it was - Location of the property was good The room was consistently very warm throughout our stay, particularly during the hot weather, despite the heating being turned off. The hallway heating was also on, which made moving through the area uncomfortable. The outdoor hot tub was pleasant, although quite small. Unfortunately, several facilities were not functioning, including the jets in the swimming pool and the steam room. The television in the room was outdated and did not include an HDMI connection, which was disappointing. We had reserved a table for breakfast at 9:30, however upon arrival there was no table available for us, which meant we were unable to stay for breakfast.
- 49CarolS (4/5): Don’t book if you have children and want to swim - Poor experience. Hotel booked on the telephone for 4 adults and 1 nine year old child. At no time were we told that pool access for children needed to be booked. Nothing available for when we arrived and we were offered breakfast time tomorrow and Monday. Although asked if we Reiner it was not stressed as the hotel was fully this also noticed be booked in advance. Extremely disappointed, we would not have booked this place if we had been aware of restrictions.

- discerning09 (6/5): Beautiful hotel but housekeeping needs improvement - On arrival the hotel looks very impressive and the grounds are beautiful. We had booked a double room which in the pictures looked very good. Reception staff were very friendly and we were shown to the room, which was actually in a different building to the main house. On entering the room it was obvious the decor was tired with paint chipped off the wall, the furniture stained, and on inspection of the bathroom it was obvious that housekeeping had not cleaned the toilet. We immediately returned to Reception and explained what we had found and all credit due they immediately apologised and rectified the situation by moving us to a beautiful room in the main house, which I can only be grateful for. The common areas in the hotel are gorgeous but I did feel a little tired with wallpaper ripped in the lounge area. One more small point was that the shower gel and conditioner were empty when I had a shower the next morning which I thought again was not good for a 4 star hotel especially as I believe our room was over £400 per night. Then when I asked for them to be filled they were just left outside the door. I just think there is a problem with housekeeping as these are basic issues in any hotel. I would love to have marked higher as our issues were dealt with quickly professionally by Reception.
- GroundedKiwi (8/5): Excellent hotel, team and restaurants - let down somewhat by the spa - Three of us stayed for one Saturday night Positives: - Precise and thoughtful service - Huge room - Great bed - Excellent restaurants - Nice massages / spa treatments Negatives: - Spa service and management is chaotic - took four goes to book a a massage. We went to the main spa area for an hour (you have to book) to find used towels everywhere, no cups, people on phones (the rules claim it is a mobile free zone) - it just looked uncared for.

- Volodymyr (9/5): The atmospheric place for great impressions - The place is amazing. We were visiting the Warwick Castle and stayed in the hotel for the night. It is very quiet and beautiful place, the staff is attentive and welcoming. The breakfast was magnificent - thanks to the interior and atmosphere I felt like a lord. I highly recommend visiting, the place will create excellent impressions. Only wish - please make beds more comfortable.

Quite a few men in suites looking important but ignoring us. It was embarrassing and we felt unimportant. We were charged £2.60 for service we didn’t get by a waiter who clearly felt he deserved it just by being ‘Mallory Court’ Went to sencha restaurant, They missed off one of our courses. A treat for my husband turned into such a disappointment and I’m very upset
- marywarwickshire2016 (6/5): Disappointing. - Although the staff were welcoming, polite and friendly, overall the contents of the afternoon tea were disappointing. Three finger sandwiches each, two made with white bread, followed by a tasty brioche savoury, then three obviously shop-bought cakes. The rhubarb and custard macaroon was hard and the lemon meringue tart had a chemical flavour. The scones at the end of the tea were hard. The teas were a good flavour though and plenty of tea available. Finally, I had told the reception on booking that this tea was a gift for a 70th birthday but there was no recognition of this at the afternoon tea. All in all, we would not be able to recommend this afternoon tea to anyone else.
- Andrew J (9/5): Outstanding with the slight exception of remarkable slowness to be served main course on Saturday. - Generally superb hotel with amazing staff and beautiful facilities and views. Expensive but you get what you pay for in life. On a Saturday night, the restaurant took a long long time to deliver the food. Our main course arrived two hours after we sat down. That's poor, even though the starters, wine, etc were great and the food overall outstanding.

Food very good and the dinner was sensational. Bedroom was large, comfortable and very well equipped. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
- Sylvie2104 (2/5): Room not in keeping with perceived standard of the hotel - We booked a room for one night in a hotel that, according to the website, is ‘the epitome of s quintessentially English country house snd spa. Little did we know we would be so disappointed. Negative points: - Bed too small in length - Duvet not very big either - Cold on entry in the room - Scuff marks on the wall & edge of the wall chipped, marks on the carpet - Cold in the bathroom in the morning & difficult to regulate the hot water shower - Only 1 robe & no slippers - Remote control batteries need changing - Poor color scheme Some positives: - The Spa was very good - Very nice in the main house - Breakfast was good We weren’t asked if we had had a pleasant stay but were thanked for our feedback. ‘Mentioning it to housekeeping’ will hardly resolve the issue. Also saying that ‘this was a corporate room’ when you have already paid £166 cannot possibly be an excuse in a hotel claiming to be of a high calibre!

Unprecedentedly I refused to pay the discretionary service charge whilst expressing my disappointment. Upon returning I wrote and complained to the hotel expressing my dissatisfaction in the hope that my comments may assist in improving service levels in future. I have received no response which tells you everything you need to know about this establishment. We shall not be returning.
- mastersandman (8/5): Second great stay - Really good dining in the asian fusion restaurant, lovely spa, great service, room, which was fairly upmarket, excellent apart from the banging and crashing from the kitchens. In fairness, after I did a little whining, the hotel did not jib at deducting the service charge, so a lot of people must moan! Essentially, posh, posh price, and a very good stay. Just avoid the room called Farnborough.

- Josephine (8/5): Grand night. - It was a lovely room, atmosphere and breakfast. The swimming pool was relaxing and the garden was good. All the staff were polite and helpful. It was disappointing to not be able to order from the room service menu as we both liked the sound of that menu. We ended up being able to order simple chips and were allowed scones, but we really wanted a simple sandwich and pudding after a long journey. The sensha menu was not for us and the Warwick menu was too expensive. Breakfast made up for this bleep though. Also I couldn't operate the coffee machine in the room. Everything else was great.
- rcb124 (10/5): Beautiful hotel, sensational food and wonderful staff! - We stayed Friday 6th February 2026 to celebrate my mum and her friend’s joint 70th birthdays. Prior to arrival the hotel had been really helpful liasing on planning our stay to make it really special and from the moment we walked in that was definitely the case. Kevin welcomed us and we sat down to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea in the library - what a beautiful location. When we checked in Stuart helped us with our luggage and showed us to our rooms which were all beautiful (we had two doubles and a twin) we then visited the spa - it’s quite small but beautiful especially the pool area and we also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. We had booked a meal in The Warwick for the evening and what can I say but wow! Connor looked after us and was great at explaining all the different courses on the tasted menu and also made sure they were adapted for my mum who is coeliac and the food by Stu Deeley was sensational - a real experience for us all. The hotel itself and grounds are beautiful but the stand out thing for us all was the staff - everyone we spoke to could not have been nicer or more helpful, we popped our head in the door of one of the suites as it was being changed over and Angie and the housekeeping team chatted to us as well telling us more about the history of the building - all the staff we spoke to had a real sense of pride. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back.

- Craigc842 (10/5): Top Hospitality in a beautiful setting - We had a night in the Mallory while travelling for work. We were welcomed after a long drive by a smiling receptionist who quickly booked us in and passed us over to a chap who took us to our room carrying our bag. The room wasn't one of their best, or top priced rooms, but it was large, clean and perfectly equipped. We had no quibbles and are very happy to recommend this as an excellent place to stay if you are in the area.

- J1567RBkatherineg (10/5): Amazing spa day - Yesterday we celebrated my friends 50th birthday with a spa day at this beautiful peaceful spa, the facilities were clean and well looked after, the view was stunning and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was easy to find, it was excellent value for money and a nice quiet location. I had a full body massage and facial, the rooms were beautiful and both treatments were amazing. We had lunch in the restaurant, the bao buns and poke bowl were delicious. I would highly recommend Elan Spa for a day out with your favourite girls.

We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. Our evening meal arrived in good time and there was a good choice of food for breakfast the following day. It was all fine.

- CWW190763 (10/5): Great New Year Break! - We had the two night New Year package here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Room was well equipped and comfortable enough (and the little treats provided were much appreciated!) despite a somewhat cramped bathroom and a few signs of wear and tear, but everything else was pretty much perfect. The dinner on New Year's Eve was amazingly good given how many people the kitchen and waiting staff were catering for, and the tasting menu we had for dinner on New Year's Day was outstanding in terms of quality, presentation and taste. Breakfasts were also excellent. The hotel's biggest asset, though, is its staff; everyone with whom we interacted was friendly, helpful, professional and efficient, and appeared to take pride in their work and in ensuring that guests were happy. That counts for a lot! All in all, a delightful couple of days.

- Lorraine0301 (2/5): Disappointing non event - We visited the Warwick at Mallory Court this evening for a birthday dinner treat. On arriving, we were shown to a meeting room set up with 4 tables of two and told to take our pick. Feeling slightly confused, we queried if this was part of the restaurant and were told that the main restaurant was booked out for a private party. Bearing in mind our reservation was made at the end of August, there had been more than enough time for them to make contact with us to explain the situation, which they had not. We'd been looking forward to visiting the Warwick having previously dined at The Wilderness and Smoke, when Stu Deeley was there, but not in a hastily set up dining room with absolutely no ambiance and no other diners. It was suggested that we could rebook for the following day once we had conveyed how disappointed we were. We declined and left. We were so disappointed and upset by the whole experience and lack of thought by the restaurant management. Would we book to go there again, absolutely not and we're sure to have a much better experience at Kynd next weekend. Shame on you the Warwick and Mallory Court.

- Yuhan (10/5): Will come back again - We have been upgraded to a bigger room. The room is clean and elegant.They have prepared my kid a little teddy bear and a bathrobe for his size before arriving. Spa itself is very clean and pretty. Temperature is good. Outdoor Spa is warm. They also have very nice view. Kids are only allowed to the spa during specific times but it doesn’t bother us. We also enjoyed the lounge service there. Not sure why outdoor pool doesn’t allow child
- 156iant (10/5): A Happy Christmas Dinner - We haven’t been to Mallory for a while , the last time was for an Afternoon Tea which was lovely and memorable. So this year we thought let’s visit for Christmas Day Lunch . Mrs T wanted somewhere nice and I’m glad to say she succeeded. Great 5 Course offering, Super ingredients , eaten at a relaxed manner, which meant that you didn’t feel rushed or over stuffed. Attentive and friendly staff , made for a very memorable Christmas Dinner We will be back , Thank you.

- Liis (10/5): We had an amazing anniversary weekend - Excellent location, lovely staff. Clean and spacious room with complimentary snacks and tea etc. Sauna and steam room were lovely aswell. Also two restaurants on site and nice gardens. The only thing I wish I had known was that there is also an outside jacuzzi and outside sauna which we only noticed at the end of our complimentary 1 hour slot in the spa. Otherwise. no complaints whatsoever

- bobbybrown584 (4/5): Afternoon Tea , an abysmal offering - A small group of us visited today for a celebration afternoon tea for a big birthday. The service was incredibly bad ! The food was minimal with 3 tiny sandwiches, a minute tart and 3 tiny cakes . We kept having to go and find the staff for tea top up, and drinks . We all agreed that better food and service could be found elsewhere and none of us will visit again or recommend. Very, very poor for a hotel of so called 4*.
- David Richard (10/5): A special place for a wonderfully relaxing break. - The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished, with a separate en suite bathroom and separate toilet. The main room was big enough to sit at a carved table with chairs, as well as a couch at the end of the bed. The Spa was tastefully equipped, with a pool, sauna and hammam steam room. The wood panelled dining room created a calm, peaceful atmosphere and the food was fantastic. The staff could not have been more helpful. Mallory Court is a special, if quite costly place to stay for a special weekend break. Nothing

- Joanne (10/5): an exceptional stay with great customer care and service. - In advance of the stay the reception staff were phenomenal in their contact asking and making arrangements for evening meals, arrival, spa appointments and to advise of valet services and assistance with bags. The room was fabulous and very clean. The hotel provided a turn down service. Every consideration was provided for. We had dinner in the Warwick restaurant the first evening which can only be described as a culinary taste experience. The food was exceptional and waiters were prompt, provided excellent service. The second day i had a facial and i cannot stress how fabulous this was. I was so stressed before hand and was just super relaxed at the end of the treatment. The second night we had dinner in the Sencha restaurant and just simply excellent food and service. This hotel has it all and really nice touches. They have little parcels of seeds to take with you from their gardens as a gift. Leave chocolates in your room and apples with water and stocked fridge upon arrival. Extremely well done. Highly recommend nothing our stay was exceptional

- Stacey (4/5): Came back after 10 years and was disappointed. - Our room was in the Spa area and this was not made obvious at time of booking, we wanted to be in the main house and had we known that we would of rang to ask for a change of room. The Asian restaurant was more like a lunch café, not a high end restaurant. The ambience was very casual and uncomfortable. We then went for drinks in the main house and the staff were reluctant to allow us to have a desert and service was slow for our drinks, the fireplace wasn't on and it just felt like we were in a waiting area, not somewhere comfortable to sit for drinks after dinner. We had come back to Mallory Court because we had fond memories after visiting here 10 years ago at the beginning of our relationship and wanted to celebrate our anniversary here but unfortunately we were quite disappointed.

- Discover669270 (6/5): Sunday Lunch - We visited for Sunday lunch. While the surroundings and food were generally lovely the service was disappointing. We were left sat waiting for someone to take a drink or and give us a menu. The food was generally good and well presented, although there was a long gap between courses. My fish dish was far from warm. My husband asked for more gravy which arrived after we had finished the meal. No one asked whether we had enjoyed the meal or otherwise. There was no cloakroom for guests to hang coats and the ladies toilets were not working properly. Such a shame as it has potential good be really good.

- Dandy85 (10/5): Wonderful 5 Star Experience From Start To Finish - We've just got home from the most amazing stay at Mallory Court. From arriving we were made to feel so welcome by the reception who told us everything we needed to know. We were promptly shown to the most beautiful 2 bedroom room called Ashorne. It was huge, and everything we needed, including slippers and a bath robe for our 3 year old (This really was an above and beyond moment for us) There was complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge and my favourite Temple Spa products in all 3 of the bathrooms. We booked a table at Sencha for dinner and once again we were blown away by the decor and the warm and friendly welcome. The food was absolutely exceptional and was throughly enjoyed by all 5 of us (including 2 picky eaters) The restaurant staff literally went above and beyond to accommodate us with anything we asked for. 5 star service. Thank you! The room was warm and cosy and our only negative was that was a green light on both bedroom ceiling (from a sensor of somesort) that kept a few of us awake so definitely take an eye-mask to sleep in if you're sensitive to things like this. However I'm sure reception would have helped us with this but we didn't want to bother them. Breakfast the next morning was incredible again and there was lots of choice to accommodate us all. Overall we absolutely loved our stay. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Well done everyone and Thank you.

Breakfast was also very good and the staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. The grounds were a bit disappointing but that's a pretty minor negative.
- JoJoFo22 (4/5): Disappointing experience - We had a champagne afternoon tea today. It’s important to note, we have been 3 times before and had a lovely experience and today the mango and passion fruit cheesecake was delightful. However we won’t be returning. The sandwiches were a little stale. The sausage rolls were lukewarm, they would have been better cold or piping hot. The cream smelled off, very cheesy - I know clotted cream can have a slight aroma but this smelt beyond that. A second pot was provided with a fresh scone but this was the same once you got down to the bottom. It just didn’t smell right, very off putting and the waiter agreed. We have had lots of afternoon teas and not experienced this before. The message from the chef was ‘there is nothing wrong with it’ and we were offered butter instead. It’s expensive and supposed to be a luxury experience. It didn’t feel at all like this. We were so disappointed. This was an anniversary treat and we left with a bad taste in our mouth both metaphorically and literally. Staff were attentive and professional - we felt bad for the young waiter having to come and say, ‘sorry chef says it’s fine nothing wrong with it,’ procuring butter as an alternative. Normally we would have boxed up our remaining scones but honestly we didn’t want them after the response. I have previously gifted vouchers for afternoon teas here to friends and family but would not risk that now.

- SteveClarke300 (6/5): Don’t stay in the annex - The “standard” room was very “sub-standard”. I was given a bedroom in an annex away from the main building. I didn’t realise how poor it was until the morning. Don’t stay in the annex. It was an older and very tired room, obvious as soon as you walk in, but it was priced accordingly at £145. (Still not cheap) However, it has an older shower within a bath and this morning I thought I’d have a hot bath for 10 minutes… only to find black mould around the bath and more on the bath mat. A scum line around the bath that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There’s grout missing on the bathroom floor and a smashed tile too. I will spare the details around pubic hair in the floor. The breakfast was great. And at check out they had added a “discretionary” service charge of over £10 when my food last night was only £30? At my discretion… that was removed.

- view1234 (8/5): Lovely Hotel & Grounds - Lovely hotel in superb grounds. The room was large with a bay window overlooking the herb garden but looking closer there were cobwebs in the corners and so much dust we could write our name on the glass coffee table. We did report this to the reception staff as we felt that due to so much dust the room could not have been occupied for a while, but apparently this was not the case! Great spa with outside jacuzzi, although sadly guests are limited to one hour access only. Felt a bit uncomfortable walking through the reception and outside to the spa in my robe as advised by the staff. We did not have dinner in the evening, but noted that the drinks were very expensive. Breakfast was good if a little slow.
- Tai5605 (8/5): Lovely afternoon tea - Visited for afternoon tea which was really lovely. The staff were very polite and showed us to a table straight away. The fixed menu was great and very filling. Only downside it would be better if two side plates and 2 sets of knives and forks were set out in the beginning. Having to use one plate for the savoury and sweet items wasn’t a great option but staff happily brought out a clean plate and cutlery when asked.

- SANDRA (6/5): - Reception staff were professional and friendly. The room was big and clean though a bit dated. We were interrupted a couple of times in the morning but housekeeping wanting to come in. We couldn't find a 'do not disturb' sign for the door, if there is on in the room it needs to be somewhere more noticeable (like on the door!). Breakfast was ok though we would have expected more for the price. Breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive. The communal area by the bar is small. The pool was nice however the changing rooms needed a good clean and we were surprised by the 1 hour limited especially since we were the only people in the pool. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay, we just had higher expectations for the amount of money charged.

Greeted on arrival & handed over our voucher, which was promptly put in a drawer without being looked at. Waitress showed us to a table, before leaving the room. Whilst we appreciate the hotel may not be able to control who books an afternoon tea, perhaps having a dress code for what should be a sophisticated occasion might help - we do not consider ill fitting shorts & trainers (plus use of bad language) appropriate for the occasion. Waitress returned 5 mins later to say she had noticed our voucher included a glass of champagne & when would we like it. We opted to have it before our food. Halfway through the champagne another waitress brought the food & muttered there wasn’t enough room to put it all down (surely they should know whether the table is big enough beforehand !!) Guests on the next table offered to clear their portable service trolley they had been given so we could use that. We did decline & managed by moving our plates off the table & onto our laps. We had eaten everything apart from the scones & we still hadn’t been brought any tea. Waited nearly 10mins for someone to come back into the room to request some. My husband also asked for a clean plate; both took a long time to arrive. When we poured the tea, it resulted in half a cup of tea leaves!! A further wait ensued until a waitress resurfaced so we could ask for a tea strainer. She did fetch us two, plus a clean cup & was very apologetic, but by now the tea was stewed beyond drinking. I get that we could have asked for additional water to dilute the tea, but by then the whole ‘pamper’ experience had been tarnished.

- 61ranij (10/5): Amazing stay ❤️ - We loved our stay! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a master suite, which was amazing as we were staying for my birthday. Our room was lovely , great views, big bathroom comfy bed (pillows didn’t quite suit me but otherwise ok). We opted for the taster menu which was delicious, the desert was ok but not amazing (sorry pastry base hard). Breakfast good- some burnt toast but didn’t spoil it for us. Spa was small but relaxing and the weather meant we were able to use the outside jacuzzi which was lovely. I had the outer glow massage by Kayleigh was so good and thank you also to the staff, for managing to get me in on my chosen day as we did think it would be cancelled as a member of staff was poorly. All the staff are lovely and always service with a smile. Thank you also to Angie for helping me with my booking I would definitely love to come back …. Especially to the master suite!

Breakfast was very average. It's not particularly bad, but it's also not a standout. Sencha restaurant similarly average and felt a bit pricey. Amazing restaurant/pub nearby - Windmill - more than compensated for it. On the negative side, the sound proofing of our room was virtually not existent. Combined with the very loud bathroom fan, it makes it very hard to have a very relaxing night. We can understand that as an old building, it will never be perfect, but the neighbours' loud TV sound and conversation and steps passed through in full volume. Even when the reception staff addressed it - promptly when reported - and the volume was definitely down, we could still hear it. Potentially this is not an issue in the newer built spa building which also has rooms.
