• Federica (7/5): Bene, ma non benissimo - Struttura in posizione comoda per visitare il centro, pulita, ben tenuta anche se non la definirei "luxury", gestita da personale cortese. La colazione ha decisamente dei margini di miglioramento nell'offerta ma anche dal punto di vista igienico, considerato peraltro che tutti gli ospiti mangiano allo stesso tavolo.

Oft standen kleine Überraschungen in Form von Obst und Süßigkeiten im Zimmer. Die Lage zur Altstadt ist ideal. Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen am "Foro Italico" ausreichend zur Verfügung.

• Hongfei Zhou (3/5): they use predatory "ambush" tactics to squeeze extra money out of travelers on their final night - The location is good and easy walk to both the old town and the train station. You don't need a car to explore the city from this hotel. Be very careful staying here. The management did not ask for our IDs at check-in (a legal requirement in Italy). Instead, they waited until the night BEFORE we left to demand our passports. They then used the fact that we weren't "registered" yet as an excuse to force us to pay a €140 "extra guest fee" on a private card machine. They confirmed my request for two twin beds for free via the app on April 4th (before check-in date), yet charged us anyway at the very end of our stay. What’s worse is that their own pricing shows 2 guests are actually cheaper than the 1-guest rate I paid. They effectively penalized me for their own failure to follow registration laws.
• Suat (8/5): Very pleasant stay - Proximity to the city center, the staff, cleanness of the rooms. Not I didn’t like it, but my mother is 80 years old and claiming two flights of stairs was a bit difficult for her. However, we booked the place knowing that there was no elevator.

• J.W. (10/5): Fijne kamers op een goede historische stadslokatie. Aanrader! - Prima kamers en badkamers Kamers hoog gelegen in een oud appartementgebouw in de historische binnenstad van Palermo. Nog geen 3 min. vd zee.wandelboulevard (Geen strand). Communicatie verliep uitstekend. De entree is wat verstopt achter een monumentale voordeur. Het aantal te beklimmen brede trappen tot aan de voordeur van het appartementengebouw :)

• Attila (9/5): Kedves fogadás, sgítőkész személyzet, csöndes környék. - Minden nap sonka, sajt, mortadella, kemyér volt reggelire. Utolsó reggel sziciliai reggelit kaptunk. Azt minden reggel meg tudtam volna enni. Nagyon bőséges volt és finom, Szicilia gastronomiáját kaptuk meg. Aki fogadott minket kedves, segítőkész volt. Minden reggel fogadott minket. WIFI jó volt, ágy, törölköző jó volt. Egy buszmegálló a Centrale, a megálló 6 perc séta. A bidé nem működött. A javítást nem tudták megoldani, másnap reggel kaptunk másik szobát. Nagyon segítőkész személyzet. A 60 darab lépcső este a sok séta után, de ez nem a szállásadó hibálya. :)
• almira (7/5): a Palermo si perdona tutto ! - la struttura in un bel palazzo con scalone ma senza ascensore, la stanza con un antibagno l'ho adorata ,un po meno la gestione del riscaldamento e dell'acqua calda per blocco della caldaia che ci ha fatto cambiare camera portando molto disagio . le ragazze carine disponibili ma non professioniste del settore ,la caldaia che gestiva il nostro riscaldamento e acqua calda era nel bagno di una altra camera e visto che era stata assegnata mi dicono che non potevano entrare per riaccenderla ..........insomma ultimo giorno da incubo. parlarne male sarebbe ingiusto ma anche parlarne bene per vari inconvenienti ,non si può . pero voglio dire che se dovessi tornare a Palermo non escluderei il ritorno nella stessa struttura ,basta non farci colazione e non prendere la penultima stanza Lasciare la gestione della colazione a persone inesperte non va bene ,come pure ,tutti gli ospiti sullo stesso tavolone no proprio non va ! ,una stanza un tavolo e non un estraneo adolescente che neanche si è pettinato e che tirava su col naso, poi vogliamo parlare del pane integrale chiesto il 30 e arrivato il 4 ? e il latte inacidito e dei cornetti riproposti per 4 giorni ? mio marito dopo il primo giorno non ha più voluto fare colazione ma non abbiamo avuto lo storno di 40 euro, decisione dovuta al fatto che la colazione non era tale , richiamo l'attenzione sulla sicurezza alimentare. la struttura è bella le ragazze gentilissime ,ma non in grado di gestire la ristorazione ,senza contare che a 50 metri c'è una panetteria pasticceria FANTASTICA . altri ospiti sono stati meno discreti di noi nelle lamentele e prendere un the dopo aver chiesto acqua calda da 20 minuti e avere le bestemmie a tavola fa iniziare bene la giornata

Consiglio assolutamente! N.B. Finalmente ho trovato un letto e dei cuscini comodissimi.

Staying at church property made it feel so special. the rooms were the best in Palermo. staff was over the edge, received breakfast when we arrived late but were very understanding. Amazing food very tasty. Parking was a bit of treck, especially at night, hard to get.

(Staubflusen im Zimmer, Haarbüschel im Bad 😏) Das WLAN funktionierte nicht dauerhaft und an der Dusche war die Schiebetüre defekt.

• Nicholas (2/5): Desperately disappointed, look beyond the reviews. - This is not a luxury B&B. We made a very bad mistake in booking this property. The photos date back to when it was converted in 2012 and no maintenance appears to have been done since. In fact it's not a B&B at all as breakfast is extra! The breakfast we did have on one day was very poor, dry bread, cheap jam, bruised fruit and certainly not the breakfast protrayed on the website. We booked a twin room and stayed for five nights, although we thought it was expensive we anticipated that it would live up to it's reviews, how wrong we were. Subsequent checking of the invoice revealed that we were charged 3 times the base room rate for the first two nights and other differing amounts for the remaining 3 nights. The room had been well used with dirty paintwork, cracked tiles, stains on the floor and a stained toilet seat. Daily cleaning was cursory with dust evident on ledges and surfaces. Neither the wifi or television worked. More importantly there was no fire safety provision in evidence whatsoever. No signs , no smoke detectors or fire extinguishers. Given the this establishment was on an upper floor in part of an old palazzo in our view it was positively dangerous. With the assistance of hotels.com we tried to cancel the booking but the owner wouldn't budge, standing behind a clause in the booking which said no cancellation for any reason. Without the owners agreement Hotels.com couldn't give us a refund, we now understand why the no cancellation clause is there.

• Mary (8/5): - Beautiful family who hosted us. We were kindly greeted when we arrived and walked up to our rooms. The building is older. However the rooms are nice and clean, very spacious in the suite for a family of 5. We stayed one night and when we checked out at 11, we were allowed to leave our luggage in the building to keep it safe and go see Palermo as long as we wanted to. Many restaurants were walking distance and we were able to walk to the local market, it 15 minute walk, it was fantastic! Thank you again for a lovely stay!

• Margaret (8/5): Very good - Manager very helpful. We stayed in the "suite" one night and a regular room the second night. This is not really a hotel, just a few renovated rooms in a very old building. Suite was cavernous, other room average. Breakfast is not included. Manager cooked eggs to order, but there was none of the extras that are normally expected in better hotels in Italy, like fresh croissants, fruit, etc. Location was a hike to the very center, but close to the water. We clearly specified we needed 2 separate beds, and reviewed this before the second room, but when we got back to the room at 11 p.m. there was only a single large bed. Staff had gone home, so we pulled the beds apart and jury-rigged some sheets. Frustrated.
• Stev (9/5): Beautiful comfortable rooms in a great location - The room was lovely and very comfortable. The only thing that we could speak critically of is that we had to wait over 30 minutes to be shown to our room when arriving even though we had supplied a rough time frame of when we would be arriving. But I understand that there was a small extraordinary incident that had occurred and I don't think that that is the hosts' normal practice. They were very gracious and lovely people and made us feel very welcome.

Staff were so kind and so helpful. They kindly gave us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate 🍾 . It’s decorated beautifully with lovely tiled floors and bathroom. The only mix up we had was that the beautiful wooden bedside tables were taken without notice - a guest had checked into the suite so they wanted to put the nice tables in there. A passport was in the table so we had to get it back!

I have booked a room with AC and parking, When I got there the AC was not working and stayed like this all stay and the parking had to pay 20 euro extra also we had to pay an additional city tax and all this was not stated on the booking. I i new that they had no parkin I woulding booked this hotel.
• Peter (7/5): Good accommodation in a city which is very short of accommodation. - The beds were much more comfortable than most hotels. Great location. Small room, no usable table, no "surfaces" to put our stuff on, so the room ended up with stuff lying all over the floor. There could have been a table and 2 chairs (for a room for 2 people).

Good Wifi, lot’s of drinks in the friz and we even got a bottle of prosecco into our room, since it was our anniversary! It did not have an elevator and it was on third floor. It was little hard for me with my operated hip. It was on the old part of the city and not very beautifull area.

• Leanne (9/5): really enjoyable in a wonderfully old building I. the heart of Palermo. - spotlessly clean. great central location nowhere to buy basic provisions, breakfast etc. I was there on a Sunday and a lot of things were shut. plus there is litter everywhere. Palermo is a very dirty city. we even saw a dead kitten which upset my kids.
