- Gina (1/5): it was horrible - The breakfast I had no TV for the whole weekend and when it was brought to the attention of management, I was told that management would have maintenance come to my room on Saturday to replace the television. No one ever showed up for a replacement and no one ever checked to see if maintenance came. That was a long weekend.

Went downstairs around 530a.m., while there was coffee and sugar. There was no creamer or at least none that I could find. Other than that one item,the stay was great

- Amy (4/5): Great place, bad circumstances - Very close to attractions and stores but not in the middle of traffic. The light in our closet kept going on and off and we had to get maintenance to come in and completely uninstall it. The nightshift receptionist was very helpful and told us they would contact booking for a refund. Then the dayshift receptionist wasn’t as helpful and dismissive of all of our problems. It was a nice hotel but just too many things went wrong.
- 623pennym (2/5): Disgusting & won’t stay again!! - Couple with 2 dogs with severe mange & fleas checking in. Poor dog was scratching constantly as she dragged it across the floor to the elevator. Toilet that ran all the time & wouldn’t flush. No creamers for coffee making in the room. When I asked at the front desk, she said they didn’t have any. She offered half & half in a cup for the fridge. Brought in my own, but the coffee maker water reservoir was filled with coffee grounds, so couldn’t brew coffee. Hubby went down to breakfast area & they had to make decaf which took 25 minutes. Pulled out our eggs to cook & no frying pan; just a very small saucepan. Hubby went downstairs again & the girl didn’t know what a frying pan was. She offered a saucepan & a very small frying pan. Took the fry pan, but had to scrub it because it had food crusted inside. I washed every plate & utensil I used because nothing was clean. The small waste basket had no liners, so our egg shells went into it. No toaster for our bread, so we nuked it with butter. The Residence Inn in Orlando (Flamingo Crossings) was great, but was so disappointed with this place.

- D P (10/5): Quiet, clean, comfortable! - This hotel is quiet inside and out, set well off the road so there is no traffic noise. My anxious dog was actually able to relax here, unlike her other hotel experience. Some of the pet relief areas are even away from the parking lot, so a little more private. Very comfortable room with a full fridge/freezer plus a very nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was clean and the room was nice size. Breakfast was ready before 7 which is what we like as we are eager to get back in the road The tv was to the right of the bed. I had to twist my neck to see. I have vertigo so sitting that way was not working for me.

- Radius65 (8/5): Seems like public housing! - We travelled to Florida from NJ and usually stop in Florence for a night. We always stay at a Marriott property, and this one seemed nice. Hanna at the front desk is lovely and efficient. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. There was a definite musty smell coming from the air conditioner. I turned it off and it got better. Breakfast was fine the next day with hot and cold choices. While we were about to leave, we noticed two separate people laying on the floor in front of their rooms talking on their phones and found it odd. Coming home, we decided to stay here again. Again, Hanna took care of us and was great. She’s a high caliber employee and I hope she is recognized for her efforts. We were disturbed to see several sketchy people loitering around the lobby area. Our room again was very clean and comfortable. But again, there were several people laying on the floor talking on their phones. One sat next to an empty Modelo beer box right outside the elevator. I became very concerned about our car and worried about the area. When we came down to breakfast the next day, every seat was filled with people who clearly were not guests of the hotel. We decided to skip the breakfast and left. I’m guessing that unoccupied rooms are being used for some kind of public housing, which made us very uncomfortable. This should be disclosed to guests. What a shame as it’s a nice hotel and was immaculately clean. We will not stay here again, unfortunately. This is not the usual Marriott experience!

Not for us but we were at the elevator with a family and 2 small kids. When door opened the person had 2 huge dogs that scared the kids who refused to get on the elevator. Maybe pet owners should be confined to the first floor only. One pet owner brought their dog into breakfast area.

- William (10/5): Overnight Stay Going North - Place must have just been renovated. It's in great shape. Good breakfast and plenty of dining options. Very reasonably priced.
- ALEX (4/5): - Place was great other then the roach I found crawling on the wall next to my luggage. I don't care how nice a place is, if you have roaches, you have a serious problem. Hopefully i didn't bring them home with me.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Great reviews, left me confused. - Let’s start with the positives- it’s a great location right off the exit of I-95. Front desk staff was amazing, and super sweet as we checked in at 2 am, she gave us a late check out for free. We booked a two bedroom, has a wonderful amount of space and is reasonably clean. However, you can tell this hotel was in poor condition and received a lipstick job renovation. Second bedroom door wouldn’t shut as it was cracked at the top, dishwasher had dings and marks, both bathtubs need re-caulked badly, tred marks along base of walls, wiggly outlets, sticky surfaces etc. Really expected more for a Marriot. It’s saving grace is the staff, and location. Would I stay here again? No, there are at least 5 other hotels right in a row prior to this one.

- Francesco (4/5): - We stayed here in June 2025, one night on our way down to FL. We checked in very late and immediately settled into bed. Shortly after, as everyone was dozing, I felt something tickle my arm. The room was dark, so I couldn't see, but I assumed it was a hair of mine and went to brush it off, but realized it was a bug. I immediately jumped to the other side of the bed, waking my husband who turned on the light, and there crawling in bed was a roach. He got up to investigate and found one more crawling on the floor of the kitchen area. It was very late so we did our best to sleep and quietly notified the staff at check out in the morning. They were very nice about it and apologized to us. We didn't ask them to do anything about it, but the front desk staff told us they'd reach out to Expedia to tell them to refund us. Fast forward to the middle of July and we hadn't heard anything. We called Expedia but it seems the hotel is ghosting them. Expedia has been reaching out to us every few days to let us know they've been trying to reach the hotel for info, with no luck. Suffice it to say we won't be staying there again and wouldn't recommend anyone else does.

- Croftcar (4/5): Not great - The rooms were clean. That was the only good thing. We stayed twice. The first check in the hotel reeked of weed. The air conditioner sounded like a jet taking off. When we went to breakfast, we were the first there, there was a total of 3 hard boiled eggs, and some nasty looking breakfast sandwiches. Second stay 2 weeks later there was no smell at check in. We needed a blanket for the sleeper sofa and I had to call down 3 times before anyone answered. The hotel was booked solid. We got down to breakfast at 8am, it started at 7:30. There are few tables to sit at and only one high chair which was being used. There were scrambled eggs from powdered eggs it seemed. The place again reeked of weed. There was no more waffle batter. You would think with the place booked they’d have enough waffle batter to last past 8am. Very disappointed in both stays.
- Jalea (4/5): - I stayed 2 nights..room service never flipped my room .only had towels gor 2 but had 4 guests booked…no one answered the desk call for 40 minutes…broken garbage disposal..numerous lights out..shelf in closet had previously fallen and was not fixed !!! I stay at Marriot hotels all the time this was a 3/10 experience AT BEST …ofc i wont get money off or ANYTHING for my inconvenience!!! Priced WAAYYY to high to put up with this crap!! DO BETTER!!! I will NEVER brong my family here again.
