• Srisudha (2/5): - This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had in Canada. The blanket provided was made from the thinnest material possible, and I was cold throughout the night, which eventually made me sick. The curtains were practically transparent, allowing light from outside to flood the room all night long. The overall condition of the room was poor—everything felt broken or poorly maintained. Initially, the staff almost charged me for another guest’s booking, which I had to point out and get corrected. Then, I was mistakenly given a used room, which only got changed after I complained. To make matters worse, I could clearly hear conversations from the neighbouring room throughout the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep.

• William (2/5): - I would be embarrassed to even have this property listed on your website. It was on safe the windows were broken out doors torn off garbage piled up outside of the building. We did not check in, it was not safe! I hope that you did not allow any payment for this, I did email them immediately. I travel extensively and this was the first time I was not even willing to get out of my vehicle.

• Pinky (2/5): - The room smelled of cigarette smoke, there were dead bugs everywhere in the room. I could not sleep and breath properly as the smoke affected my breathing. They gave me another room. It still had the very same issues. As my breathing got worse due to cigarette smoke in the room, I decided to leave the motel because my health was badly compromised. I left 2 days before the check out date. They said they can change the room, I reminded them that they already did that twice and it did not work. They did not give a refund even though the issue was theirs (health and safety issue). I want all my money back and I need to report this matter because now I am sick from the cigarette smoke.
• Curtis (2/5): Better off sleeping in your car. - This place ahould be condemned. Dirty walls, doors, carpets. AC barely worked and the bathroom had a bar of soap from the last guest. There were no towels in the room and no tv in the room. DO NOT STAY HERE.

• Katerina (2/5): - I booked two rooms, arrived and they say there is only one available. I had elderly person and small child with me and one of my rooms were given away. The one available had one bed only. It is absolutely unprofessional. We could not find any room in surrounding area and had to drive 4 hrs back home because we had no choice. Please do not stay there.

• Ashley (2/5): - There was blood and nail polish stains all of the sheets as well as the towels. There’s a homeless population as well as all their litter near the buildings. Not a safe location. It’s worth to pay the extra 20-40$ for a nice hotel! If you wanna cheap out and come here bring your own bedding and towels! The heating doesn’t work so be careful with how you pack.
• Matthew (2/5): - Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Blood stain on mattress recently washed but not totally dry, causing sheets to be wet. No pillow cases and dirty stained pillows. Dirty towels, dirty floors (don’t look under beds!), just dirty. Noisy music till 1am from monthly rentals. Save yourself a $100 and sleep in your car!

• Chinelo (8/5): Satisfactory - Satisfactory. We arrived very late and they still received us. It was clean but they had so many cigarettes in the cabinet. The heat and AC were great. For the price and a room with two beds that contained our family of 4, I would say it was worth it.

• Susan (4/5): - I've been coming to this motel for years and it's always been clean. Four months ago ownership changed and the standards have fallen terribly. It was dirty with visible dirt in the bathroom (tub and toilet), on the walls and the smoke detectors was not on the wall but laying on the counter. And my non-smoking room was clearly smoked in. I will not be returning.

Not only did I have a confirmed booking through EpediaI but I had called the motel the day before and confirmed my booking with a staff member. Mian was disinterested with my complaint, we were left high and dry without a place to stay. .
• Tak Yin (2/5): - Was told that my booking on Expedia was not "confirmed" and that the hotel was sold out for the night and they don't have any room for my and my family. I am completely lost for words. This is unbelievable. It's a long weekend and every other place in town has no rooms available for the night. I don't even know where I'm supposed to stay as I just drove 4 hours to get here. I would appreciate a response to my review please and thank you.

• Stephanie (2/5): - The property is a dump that i would say looks like a rent by the hour. Upon check in the man checking me in was looking at me like i was from outer space. Then eyeballed my son like he was a criminal and proceeded to act like a parent scolding a child, to not be loud there are neighbours and no smoking. He was rude and should not be in customer service. He didnt even know i had a room booked so i didnt get the room type i wanted and i had to fight for the travelocity price. He made me put an additional $100 deposit that i was unaware of. I will never support this business again and never recommend
• Richard (8/5): - Clean upgraded room. Would have liked a mirror in the bathroom and a place to hang clothes. Fridge and microwave were spotlessly clean. Would stay here again. Convenient drive to downtown.

We said no we are in the middle of a move and we bring in what we need and they just kept watching us like we were up to something

I paid using my debit card and she told me it was declined which I was confused to why that was as I had enough funds on it. I used my other card and it worked. I checked my bank statement a couple days later and the transaction DID go through on the other card too, so I was charged twice. For that price I could have stayed somewhere decent. First thought when walking in the room was it smells musty, door has no deadbolt, screen door has no glass. very outdated, no coffee maker/shampoo, phone, wasn’t given the wifi password. My blanket had old blood stains on it. Water takes a while to heat up. overall it is in a sketchy area. Normally wouldn’t leave a bad review but what I received for being charged twice was definitely unsatisfactory.

Had to ask for soap to wash hands even during this covid thing. The TV was old CRT tube tv and the picture didn’t work. AC was near the bathroom wall no air came to bed. Was charged more than what I booked on Expedia, and the staff weren't very pleasant or helpful. Also, the $100 deposit was not specified anywhere on my booking before we got there. Overall though, it was fine for what we wanted and were expecting.

There were 2 very tiny, flat pillows available that would have been perfect for toddlers but not 2 adults. A blanket on the bed would also have been appreciated in the cool room. The 2 towels provided were barely sufficient & 1 at the sink would have been nice.

Most motels/hotels gives 3 sets of towels for 2 people. There was only a door handle lock on the door. Needed another lock/chain. Out dated. Overall was clean enough and what you would expected for the price, which was good.

• Milo (2/5): Did not stay!!! - When we arrived with our confirmation, we were told there was a $100 CASH only deposit required and a credit card deposit as well as our night's stay. Staff was very rude and ignorant to myself and my husband when we told them we did not have the cash and they could charge the credit card for the deposits. We cancelled the reservation and went to the Ambassador Motel on Huron Church Road. Got our room for no deposit and less than Traveller's Choice. Fantastic room and since we are not from the area, the staff called us a cab to take to our event.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The traveller's choice motel is a really old school motor lodge but one that'd i'd stay at anytime. It's really well maintained and extremely clean and well maintained. My only comment is that they'd might want to upgrade the air conditioning system but otherwise, it was great.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel a place to sleep for the night - I just wanted a place to sleep for the night near to my friends home. The hot water in the shower takes some time to get to you from the boiler for the rooms. I had to turn the heat on when I got there as room was warm enough to keep the pipes from freezing. It has a mini fridge, and TV that is all. As I said I just wanted a place to sleep so that is what I paid for.
