• Dr A (10/5): - Great bed and breakfast, hosted by the Omsteads. The vintage decor is supported by great modern touches (lights in the right places), and an amazing location on the shores of Lake Erie. The breakfast is a highlight - great coffee, amazing, freshly made food and a great combination of fresh flavours. Margo and Keith are great local hosts, who treat you like family. You arrive as strangers and leave like great friends.
• James (10/5): - Margot and Keith were the perfect hosts. The breakfasts were unique and very tasty (you can ask for "normal" breakfasts (English, Continental, etc), if you wish.

The backyard is facing east so it is also a perfect location to experience sunrise. With warm-hearted hosts serving gourmet breakfast, you will enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable stay of your trip. There is nothing to complain. We'd like to thank Margo and Keith for their wonderful hospitality and hope to stay in their lovely cottage again during our next trip.

• Randy (10/5): Anniversary Trip - This was the greatest chance find I’ve ever made. Had been looking for a place to stay in the region, but nothing was available at a reasonable price. This BnB has a mystical feel to it, very serene and peaceful. You are dotted on from the moment you arrive, but not smothered. It feels like going to visit your favourite aunt and uncle for a night, or for however long you stay.

• Betty (10/5): Omstead’s on Erie - The location was perfect, on the shore of Lake Erie. There’s several areas outside to rest and visit by the lake. The hot breakfasted were out of this world! And the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast would win a prize in a gourmet cooking magazine. My wife and I have travelled around the world and this is, by far, without a doubt, the VERY BEST BNB we have ever stayed at. Thank you Margot and Keith for making our stay so relaxing, so welcoming and so easy. We will stay with you again, that's for sure!

• Anita (10/5): - A fantastic and unique experience! The property is located right by the water with incredible view of Lake Erie, stunning night sky, the milky way and gorgeous sunrise. Margo has a world of knowledge on everything and was the friendliest host I ever have at a B&B. We were treated with such attentiveness, from bringing us quilts while we sat outside to leaving flashlight & bug spray knowing that we planned to stargaze in the middle of the night. The breakfast, oh the breakfast! Five star food with five star service! Just the food she served at breakfast is enough reason to stay there!! Love to go back!

Margo and Keith were very welcoming hosts, and their home was so lovely and comfortable, with a beautiful view right on the lake (the pictures on here do not do it justice!). We will definitely stay at the Omstead’s on Erie B&B if ever we are back in the area.

• Catharine (10/5): Excellent first time BnB experience - It was a wonderful first time Bed and Breakfast experience. The hosts Keith and Margo were welcoming , pleasant and informative. The veiw of the sun coming up on the lake in the morning was breath taking and the moon in the evening was also beautiful. The breakfast were out standing Margo is a fabulous cook. They made us feel like family. Margo packed us a nice sweet treat that we enjoyed later in the day. We were truly spoiled and definitely will be back.

We felt quite welcome in the home which was clean, warm and decorated in a way that ensured curiosity and conversation. The location on the shores of Lake Erie is peaceful and beautiful and is a perfect place to "get away". Breakfast was delicious and exceptional. We would return when in the area.

We had a three course breakfast each morning. You wont leave the table hungry. My daughter and I enjoyed sitting in the living room in the evening after going out exploring by their fireplace with a glass of wine. This was our first trip to Canada. Will be returning again. I want to try Margo famous pizza.

• Sunsup (10/5): What a PERFECT place!!! - First, you are hit with the gorgeous setting of the inn overlooking Lake Erie (yes, it is right on the lake). The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular! Second, from the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty! The hosts were gracious and welcoming. Their attention to detail is amazing. And they are the perfect pair for innkeepers. In fact, once you feel you are getting to know them, you don't want to leave. Thirdly, the inn is beautifully decorated in period furnishings consistent with the age of the inn. You can spend lots of time pursuing their very tasteful collections. And the beds? Extremely comfortable and inviting. And last, but certainly not least, the food. I have never had a better breakfast! From the fresh perch and fresh vegetables to the homemade bread and jellies, every bite was delicious. We will definitely be heading back at our next opportunity and sending every person we know to Omstead's on Erie!
