- Marion (8/5): A comfortable and secluded hotel, ideal for a short stay if you have your own vehicle. - Very pleasant atmosphere, immersed in the forest with a view over the River Kwai. I was lucky to watch the elephants from the park across the river during their bathing time twice (at 11:00 and 14:00). The beds are exceptionally comfortable, without a doubt the most comfortable I had during my trip to Thailand. Getting around without a vehicle is almost impossible: I managed by hitchhiking on the first day, but not the second. Walking out is not always an option, as the dogs near the hotel entrance are particularly aggressive. The room has dusty walls, though the beds and floor are clean. Walking barefoot is not recommended: over two nights, I found a scorpion and a frog in the bathroom, which was quickly handled by the staff.

Un espace de calme, avec à disposition le confort minimum pour passer un bon moment relaxant. La communication avec les hôtes n'est pas toujours aisée (anglais difficilement maitrisé, heureusement qu'il existe le traducteur pour échangé en thaïlandais.

- Kimberly (7/5): Stunning setting, with a nice little surprise with elephants. 🐘🐘🇹🇭 - This place was lovely. It was a little out of the way from other places, but we’d already seen a lot during our travels and were happy to just relax. I would recommend hiring a scooter or a car. I travelled here with my family — my boys are 21, 8, and 4. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. They provided clean bedding and towels, and water and juice were brought to our room daily. which was a lovely little touch. We stayed in the family accommodation, which was lovely, although it was a little dated and could do with a deep clean, but we made do. A beautiful little surprise was seeing the elephants by the river in the morning at around 10.00, this was amazing. I will definitely return to this if we visit again. Our room was a little dated, and needed a good deep clean, but apart from this, everything else was perfect.

- Christian (7/5): - Zimmer waren sehr groß im River House, dafür die Badezimmer sehr klein. Aber alles ausreichend und passend eingerichtet. Wir hatten noch extra unsere Mosquito Netze für die kleineren Tierchen, die sich dort aufhalten. Für uns Erwachsenen hat das Frühstück gepasst, da wir wussten, in dem Gebiet gibt es nicht so viel Auswahl. Der Koch war sehr nett und hat extra Melone geschnitten, weil ein Kind als Vegetarier keine Wurst und Eier isst. Danke. Sehr nette Leute.

- Virginia (10/5): Nice house on the river bank - The house is incredible, very clean and comfortable. It was 2km from each railway station, 7 eleven store and local Restaurants, no grab service. Many stray dogs in front of the place it was a bit challenging going back in the house after dinner in the dark.

- Alexander (10/5): Absolutely amazing - Rooms were nice , tidy and the beds were comfy A little difficult finding the place as on the maps on my phone it shows up close by but I’m a different place lol but if you ring the place they will come collect you from train station close by , we walked lol , but eventually got there , some Difficulty them Understanding my English but I used Google English to Thai and they were able to understand and talk back in English to me , we ate dinner and breakfast here , again it was alittle Difficult choosing the food to have but what we got actually tasted really good 😊 👍 , they helped with transport and booking us a tour to see the elephants at elephant haven which was incredible , we have a loverly stay here and would definitely stay here again

- Kulasinghe (10/5): Wonderful Stay - Situated in a beautiful location close to the River Kwai Noi. Can see Elephant bathing at the other side of the ricer. The house is clean & has air conditioning. The resort also has swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious though not much selection. But with the cost of the accommodation it is very worthy.

There was 0 possibility to transport ourself. Also not in the town. If you want to transport yourself you have to take a train, after you first walk for 30 minutes with your luggage. If the manager reads this. Pls invest in some transportation.. few bikes. Not 1 tuktuk, that brakes all the time. The wifi was Terrible, the pool was dirty.

- Sunshine (7/5): Go for the value. Don't expect much more. - We stayed in a family room and did not explore the property much. Arrived late and left early. Great value for money if you go with low expectations. I don't usually book a property under 8 or 9 rating but wanted an affordable stay. The two-bedroom lodge had all we needed but lacked the small touches that yield a better review: teacups but no tea or coffee. The toilet paper roll was wet and the bathroom was covered in water when we arrived. Close to 7-eleven, which was convenient. We went to the waterfalls and spent all day out and came home just to sleep. The bed was fine, AC worked, the linens were adequate and each bed had mosquito netting. There were some ants in the bathroom and the space was wet as though someone cleaned rather carelessly. Staff didn't speak English and could use some customer service training. No soap or toiletries were provided. We traveled by car and I had packed coffee (since I hate Nescafe which is what most places offer) and was happy we packed snacks. Simple and basic accommodations, don't expect much more.
- Nabraska (8/5): Beautiful little get away, restful and peaceful. - Very peaceful place, beautiful grounds. Rooms were good, beds very comfy. We were very lucky and being the only guest for almost two days. Has a great little walk down to the river with a deck down there to sit and watch the sunset and the river. That was a bonus find. Food is great in the restaurant. The room we had was the wooden one, beautiful design though just very dark in the room as little natural light comes through. They have a little tuk tuk for guest which is usually 20b pp, one evening the guy tried to charge us 40pp which was very cheeky.

- Anonymous (9/5): A perfect place to get connected with nature. - The view are breathtaking, a perfect place to getaway from the city.The staff are very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier.Recommended to rent a motorbike/car from the kanachaburi city as there’s no bike rental nearby the resort. You can take train from Bangkok to Wang pho , which is very near to the resort if you don’t plan on renting car/taxi or bus. The food and 7 eleven can find near around .
