Called guest services. Hotel needs to warn guests if water will be stopped for maintenance!

She also upgraded my stay, which made the experience even more special. I truly appreciated the thoughtful birthday wishes and the lovely token gesture of sending a cake. It made my stay memorable and highly enjoyable. I honestly liked everything about my stay and did not experience anything negative. The service, hospitality, and overall experience were excellent throughout my visit.

- aq707 (6/5): Stay was good but not excellent - Stay was okay. Rooms were clean but small. The room temperature was fixed at 17–18°C, which was not comfortable for sitting and working. I tried to increase it to 20–21°C, which is more comfortable, but it didn’t work. I called guest services and a technician came, but he was unable to fix it. The reception staff also tried to switch me to another room, but all rooms were the same. They said this was the standard temperature, which felt too cold and not a comfortable environment to work. I requested a heater; they provided one after a strong request. However, housekeeping took it back the next day despite my instructions not to remove it. However, the staff was polite and helpful. Especially Rashna, Guest Relations Manager, was very polite and helpful. One small issue: they hardly had 100-rupee change available for tips.

The rooms are perhaps a little tired, but generally everything works well, bathrooms are nice. Food in the property is ok. This last stay was however dissappointing based on the attitude of a particualr male front desk staff member. At check out I asked if it was possible to pay for an additional half day to check out 6pm. I was told this was possible the previous evening when I spoke to the front desk. This was not possible as they apparently had additional bookings over night - I'm ok with this, but what I'm not ok with is the arrogant attitude I got back from the front desk person when I asked. I dont need flowery speaches, but at least a civil attitude and perhaps an "I'm very sorry, but we cant help you" would be nice. Based on this person, I will do my best to avoid staying at Avari next time.

- Amnaansari93 (10/5): Best Chinese Food in Karachi - Dynasty is the best option for Chinese food in karachi. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. We were greeted by hostess Zainab who was so welcoming. Mr. Badar was the manager and everything was done wonderfully under his watchful supervision. And we were served by Yasir who was super accommodating and attentive. Everything was wonderful.

- najeeba (3/5): Very Disappointed. - The cleaning staff was good. Iftar buffet was good. Other staff including the front desk boy ahsan or something who works at night was very rude and disrespectful, i have complained already. I am a regular customer and suddenly this time for everything they say its our policy, where was your policy before? And there is no un necessary demands that you guys behave like this. The room dine-in ( I asked for cardamom tea they refused at first then I had to call the main desk then they called to room dine in they called me back then I had to call them again, so much hassle for a cup of tea is pathetic. Recently they have prohibited the outside food and you can only eat what they offer, I advise them to add some good food items in their menu if they don’t allow people to order from outside. Upgrade your menu for room dine-in. There is literally nothing interesting and very limited.

The Room service level and amenities are best in class. Specially love the food of Asia Live and Sky Bar BQ. The aftar buffet experience was next level. Special mention to the highly welcoming services of staff, Ms Ashra, Ms Khizra, and Management level Ms. Iffat. I will recommend to add the more options in In- Room dining menu. Overall experience 9/10.

- M J (7/5): - I am writing this review with a heavy heart. Despite owning a house in Karachi, I have been staying at Avari Towers since I was three years old. My connection with this hotel goes far beyond accommodation, it is tied deeply to memories with my late father. He loved this hotel and its hospitality, and for many years Avari felt less like a hotel and more like a family. The long serving staff, some of whom had been there for decades, created a warmth and familiarity that made every visit special. Unfortunately, my most recent stay about a month ago completely changed my perception. The night duty manager Mr. Muzaffar or whatever his name was, was extremely rude and disrespectful toward me and my guests while we were sitting in the lobby cafe. It was a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. Ever since the passing of the OG owner Mr. Byram Avari, lovingly known by many as Baba, the hotel seems to have lost its soul. Over the years, many of the loyal staff members who had served for 20 to 40 years have been replaced with new staff who do not carry the same warmth or professionalism. The management instability is also noticeable, with several General Managers changing since Baba’s passing. It genuinely saddens me to see a place that once held such cherished memories decline in this way and because of my recent experience and the overall change in atmosphere, I do not see myself staying at Avari Towers again, nor at any of the other properties under the same group. Rest in peace Baba. You are missed.

- lgmanuel (2/5): No Etiquette Receptionist (mafi faida) - We ate early dinner (room-in) last night MARCH 6, 2026 and it's fine. Suddenly my roommate had abdominal pain and diarrhea. I asked the NIGHT SHIFT RECEPTION for hotel nurse to give basic medicine but he cannot offer anything, he even transferred the call to someone whom end up hanging up on us. I called the receptionist back and told him about the guy who hanging up on the other line and he just laugh and said he will call back. But we wasted our time waiting and say the same thing. There is no sense of urgency, i called the reception again to get his profile and he name himself MEHDI. I am very disappointed wasting our call for nothing. No help was given, poor customer service.
